No basta existir. No basta afirmar : " Yo gano lo suficiente para sostener a mi familia. Hago bien mi trabajo. Soy un buen padre y un buen esposo, y no falto a mis deberes religiosos".
Todo eso es muy loable, pero es necesario hacer algo más. Siempre hay que procurar hacer algún bien, en alguna parte. Todo hombre debe buscar a su modo la forma de realizar su verdadero potencial.
Debemos dar parte de nuestro tiempo a nuestros semejantes. Aun si es poca cosa, es preciso hacer algo por aquellos que necesitan ayuda, algo por lo cual no obtengamos beneficio alguno, salvo el privilegio de hacerlo. Recordemos que no vivimos en un mundo sólo nuestro.
También nuestros hermanos están aquí.
