Deuteronomio 10:12, Dios se agrada en el servicio. Dios se deleita en la adoración que implica servicio. Hay una conexión muy estrecha entre el servicio y la adoración. El servicio es una expresión de adoración y comunión.
Latreuo no viene del griego ‘Proskuneo’ que tambien significa adoracion, la diferencia es que Proskuneoes usado para adorar a hombres con autoridad que no son divinos. En cambio la palabra Griega ‘Latreuo’ es usada EXCLUSIVAMENTE para Dios: Mateo 4.10;24:14;27:23.

¿ES CRISTO ADORADO COMO DIOS? ¿FUE CRISTO ADORADO COMO DIOS EN MATEO 28:17? Dice Mateo 28:17: “Y cuando le vieron, le adoraron (Gr.‘Proskuneo’); pero algunos dudaban”. Los Trinitarios sostienen que si Cristo fue adorado, entonces él era Dios. Pero la palabra Griega ‘Proskuneo’ tiene un significado más amplio, como puede ser visto en Mateo 18:26 y Apocalipsis 3:9. Ver también cómo muchas Biblias traducen Hebreos 1:6. Pero lo cierto es que la forma o palabra Griega ‘Proskuneo’ puede ser usada para hombres con autoridad que ¡no son divinos! Así ocurre en Mateo 18:26. Pero existe otra palabra Griega ‘Latreuo’ que es usada EXCLUSIVAMENTE por el Padre: Mateo 4.10; Hechos 7:7; 24:14; 26:7; 27:23; Romanos 1:9; Apocalipsis 7:15; 22:3, etc. John Nelson Darby, en una nota al pie de la página sobre Mateo 4:10 dice: ‘Proskuneo’: “Un acto de reverencia personal y homenaje”.
