¿"Devoran la casas de las viudas" no es una alusion a que devoran la casa/linaje de la viuda? ¿Porque Jesucristo incluso relaciona la viuda con JUAN MARCOS en Hechos 12:12?
1. Hechos 12:12: Y habiendo considerado esto, llegó a casa de María la madre de Juan, el que tenía por sobrenombre MARCOS, donde muchos estaban reunidos orando.
Es obvio que MARIA LA MADRE DE JUAN ES LA VIUDA.

Parts of Isis are also letters of the alphabet.
Human enlightenment didn't begin with education and the art of writing. There were enlightened individuals long before there was any kind writing. There have been enlightened individuals among us since far back in prehistorical times. El(Assur) was one of those prehistorical enlightened individuals. Buddha, Moses, Confucius, Jesus, Mohamed, and other historical figures rose among us in recent times. Their works and teachings were passed on in written language. The works and teachings of the earlier 'great lights' were passed on in allegorical tales that are the stuff of legends.
Isis was one of the great lights of the ages. Isis was born near the dawn of writing. Her legend begins in the era just before the dawn of writing and ends in the historical era of 'modern' civilizations. Her womb, her works and her teachings were the foundations of the first historical civilizations. There were earlier civilizations, but they didn't have written histories. The Genesis of Isis was a major force responsible for the spread of writing over the ancient world and for the creation of modern writing systems that are still in use today.
So what? Why is it significant whether our alphabet is phonetic or pictographic? "One picture is worth a thousand words." Television is a more powerful instrument for communication than radio and print media are. The pictographic letters make words that are picture-words; they're pictures of their meanings. Picture-words make written language a more powerful medium of communication than writing just the sounds of the words do.

The Genesis of Isis and Pagan religion spread ancient crafts and industry over the whole world.
Missionaries of Isis were the prime movers in the spread of agriculture, weaving, writing, languages, arts, and social order that made our civilization possible. Pagan religion was a mixture of genealogy, politics, religion, and education. It wasn't just a lot of snake worship and meaningless "idolatry." Pagan culture was the nearest thing to a universal culture that this world has ever known. The Genesis of Isis and Pagan religion spread the arts of civilization over the whole world. The engineering technology of well digging didn't have to be rediscovered by every village that had a well. The art of writing didn't have to be reinvented by every language that learned to write. Waves of useful technologies spread over the world from the birth of Isis like ripples on a pond.
Weaving was one of the main industrial arts that accompanied the Genesis of Isis. "Daughters of Isis," who were 'pedigreed' descendants of Isis, were married as gift wives into the ruling families of 'World Family' of Pagan kingdoms over the whole world. Those daughters of Isis went on to become the ancestral mother goddesses of various Pagan cultures around the world. Isis, the Great Mother Goddess was a serpent goddess. The ancestral mother goddesses of wide spread cultures around the world were serpent goddesses who were credited with the invention of weaving.

  There are remarkable similarities between Amaterasu, the imperial mother goddess of Japan, and Ixchel, the ancestral mother goddess of the Maya in Central America. Amaterasu was an accomplished weaver, with many attendants who joined her in weaving the stunning satins, silks, and brocades for which Japan is famous. The complex huipiles and brightly colored tzutes were traditional textiles of the Maya. Tourists in Guatemala today cannot help but notice that the most obvious sign of Maya identity is the distinctive clothing of the indigenous population. Amaterasu and Ixchel were both sun goddesses who hid from the sun. They both were mother goddesses of advanced civilizations. They were both serpent goddesses who were the inventors of weaving. Their respective genealogies include closely similar names of related deities despite their great ethnic differences, and the great difference in their respective languages.

Los israelitas cruzan el Mar Rojo

Entonces los egipcios dijeron: Huyamos de delante de Israel, porque Jehová pelea por ellos contra los egipcios. 14:26 Y Jehová dijo a Moisés: Extiende tu mano sobre el mar, para que las aguas vuelvan sobre los egipcios, sobre sus carros, y sobre su caballería. 14:27 Entonces Moisés extendió su mano sobre el mar, y cuando amanecía, el mar se volvió en toda su fuerza, y los egipcios al huir se encontraban con el mar; y Jehová derribó a los egipcios en medio del mar. Cántico de Moisés y de María
15:1 Entonces cantó Moisés y los hijos de Israel este cántico a Jehová, y dijeron: Cantaré yo a Jehová, porque se ha magnificado grandemente; Ha echado en el mar al caballo y al jinete. 15:2 Jehová es mi fortaleza y mi cántico, Y ha sido mi salvación. Este es mi Dios, y lo alabaré; Dios de mi padre, y lo enalteceré.15:3 Jehová es varón de guerra; Jehová es su nombre. (MARTE/GUERRA)

15:19 Porque Faraón entró cabalgando con sus carros y su gente de a caballo en el mar, y Jehová hizo volver las aguas del mar sobre ellos; mas los hijos de Israel pasaron en seco por en medio del mar.
15:20 Y María la profetisa, hermana de Aarón, tomó un pandero en su mano, y todas las mujeres salieron en pos de ella con panderos y danzas.
15:21 Y María les respondía:
Cantad a Jehová, porque en extremo se ha engrandecido;
Ha echado en el mar al caballo y al jinete.
El agua amarga de Mara
15:22 E hizo Moisés que partiese Israel del Mar Rojo, y salieron al desierto de Shur; y anduvieron tres días por el desierto sin hallar agua.
15:23 Y llegaron a Mara, y no pudieron beber las aguas de Mara, porque eran amargas; por eso le pusieron el nombre de Mara.
15:24 Entonces el pueblo murmuró contra Moisés, y dijo: ¿Qué hemos de beber?
15:25 Y Moisés clamó a Jehová, y Jehová le mostró un árbol; y lo echó en las aguas, y las aguas se endulzaron. Allí les dio estatutos y ordenanzas, y allí los probó;
15:26 y dijo: Si oyeres atentamente la voz de Jehová tu Dios, e hicieres lo recto delante de sus ojos, y dieres oído a sus mandamientos, y guardares todos sus estatutos, ninguna enfermedad de las que envié a los egipcios te enviaré a ti; porque yo soy Jehová tu sanador.

e indica fin y principio de semana. Por esa razón el número dominical (domingo) es el “día del Señor” en la Iglesia.

Tiberias overlooking the Sea of Galilee
Our virtual hike through Galilee has reached one of the most famous bodies of water in the whole world, the Sea of Galilee in northeastern Israel.
The Sea of Galilee is about 13 miles long (north to south) and about 8 miles wide with a circumference of about 33 miles, an area of 64 square miles, and a maximum depth of 141 ft. It’s the lowest freshwater body in the world at 693 below sea level. Only the saltwater Dead Sea at 1388 ft below sea level is lower.
The Sea of Galilee is partially fed by streams and underground springs, but its main source is the Jordan River on the north, and its main outflow is the Jordan River on the south.
The Sea of Galilee lies right on the ancient Via Maris trade route. It was an area of villages, farming, fishing, and trading at least as far back as Abraham. In Jesus’ day, at least 16 harbors existed on the Sea. Today the most important economic activity of the area is tourism.
The Sea of Galilee is the largest freshwater lake in Israel. It’s the source of half of the country’s drinking water. Its water is piped throughout Israel and Jordan. Beginning in 1964, disagreements between Israel and Jordan over access to water from the Sea of Galilee contributed to the tensions which escalated into the 1967 Six Day War in which Israel captured water sources for the Sea of Galilee in the Golan Heights east of the lake.
In New Testament days this body of water was also known as the Sea of Tiberias (John 6:1; 21:1) after the important city of Tiberias on its western shore (pictured above). Herod Antipas, son of Herod the Great made Tiberias his Galilean capital. Sea of Tiberias is the term used in 1st-century Roman texts and in the Jerusalem Talmud.
Luke refers to the Sea of Galilee as the Lake of Gennesaret (Luke 5:1) after the fertile Gennesaret plain below the Arbel Cliffs. The plain is about 5 miles long by 2 miles wide on the west shore of the lake.

The modern name Lake Kinneret comes from the Old Testament name Sea of Chinnereth (Numbers 34:11; Deut 3:17; Joshua 11:2; 13:27). This name probably originates from the Hebrew word kinnor meaning harp. From above, the shape of the lake looks like a harp with its flat eastern shore and curving western shore.
The lake’s harp-like shape is shown on the Kinneret Trail marker at right. The 37-mile Kinneret Trail, part of which is used by the Jesus Trail, circumnavigates the lake.
Much of the ministry of Jesus was focused around the Sea of Galilee. This is the subject of the next post in the Hike the Bible series.

Hike the Bible – Mary Magdalene

Our virtual hike through Galilee has reached Magdala on the western shore of the Sea of Galilee, about 4 miles north of Tiberias. Magdala was a prosperous fishing town of 30,000 to 40,000 in Jesus’ day.
Mary Magdalene
Magdala’s most famous personage is Mary Magdalene, a faithful follower of Jesus throughout His earthly ministry. She was at the foot of the cross, witnessed His burial, and was the first to see Jesus after His Resurrection. This is the first of a series of three blog posts on Mary Magdalene.
The Bible does not actually say that Mary was from Magdala. This is an inference from her moniker Magdalene, analogous to Jesus the Nazarene from Nazareth.
It’s possible that Mary “was called Magdalene” (Luke 8:2), because she was very tall. Magdala means tower in Aramaic as does Migdal in Hebrew. It would distinguish her from others named Mary, just as today we might distinguish one Tom from another by calling one Big Tom. Contemporary slang translations might be “Mega Mary” or “Mary the Tall” or “Mary the Great.” In early Christian art Mary was often depicted as taller than the apostles.
Mary Magdalene, from whom Jesus had cast out seven demons, first appears near the beginning of Jesus’ ministry in Galilee. She is one of “many” women who traveled with Jesus and the disciples who had been healed of demons and diseases and contributed support from personal funds.
And it came about soon afterwards, that He began going about from one city and village to another, proclaiming and preaching the kingdom of God; and the twelve were with Him, and also some women who had been healed of evil spirits and sicknesses: Mary who was called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had gone out, and Joanna the wife of Chuza, Herod’s steward, and Susanna, and many others who were contributing to their support out of their private means. (Luke 8:1-3)
Just as in this passage from Luke, Mary Magdalene is usually named first in lists of women around Jesus in the Gospels, many of whom are not even named. Clearly, Mary Magdalene was a person of significance in the Gospels where she is called by name 14 times, plus 23 other references without her name. This is more than any woman except for Mary, the mother of Jesus. For comparison, Jesus’ mother is referred to by name 18 times in the Gospels, plus 25 other references without her name.
The prominence of Mary of Magdala is further underscored by calling her simply “Magdalene” without connecting her to a family. Frequently women in the Gospels were identified by husbands, such as “Joanna the wife of Chuza” (Luke 8:3) or “Mary the wife of Clopas” (John 19:25) and by sons, such as “Mary the mother of James and Joseph” (Mat 27:56; Mark 15:40, 47; 16:1), Salome “the mother of the sons of Zebedee” and sister of Mary the mother of Jesus (Mat 27:56; Mark 15:40; Mark 16:1; John 19:25).
Apparently Mary Magdalene was an independent woman of substantial means. Possibly she was a wealthy widow.
