The 日本 麻雀, or (accipiter gularis), is a small raptor that lives in the mountains and forests of Japan. 日本 麻雀is a diurnal bird and spends most of its time out in the open, where 日本 麻雀will often perch on branches and look for birds to prey on. Come play 日本 麻雀, you’ll find what you want in 日本 麻雀.

These birds are classified as a Least Concern species by the International Union for Conservation of Nature. This means that they are not endangered, but still face threats from a wide range of factors. Some of these include land-use changes, loss of roosting trees and the trade of Japanese sparrowhawks.

Their distribution is quite broad, ranging from Hokkaido to Okinawa and all across Asia and Europe. They are adapted to a wide range of habitats and can be found in woods, hedgerows, fields, and cultivated farmland. They tend to live near humans and are particularly common in urban areas, where they breed.

They are incredibly tolerant of human presence and will not harm people or pets, although they can be aggressive towards other birds and mammals that they perceive as predators. They are also very good at defending their territory and will attack anyone who threatens them.

Males are quite distinctive, with contrasting dark barring beneath their wings and a cream-colored lower belly. Females and juveniles have an overall darker brown coloration with darker barring on their chest and belly.

It is one of the most widely distributed raptors, extending from northern Siberia to Japan and even into China. In fact, this bird can be found in most parts of the world where there is dense woodland.

Despite their large distribution, these birds are still under threat. This is mainly due to habitat change and loss of roosting trees, but they are also harmed by hunters who capture them for the bird trade.

The most famous story about sparrows is a traditional Japanese fable called "Shita-kiri Suzume" or “Tongue-Cut Sparrow”, which is based on the true story of an injured sparrow who was cared for by an old man. Unfortunately, the man's greedy wife spoils this happy home with her constant grumbling and her avaricious behavior.

As it turns out, this little sparrow loved the old man's kindness and compassion so much that she was always willing to follow him into the woods where he was working, or onto the tall bamboo forest, which she would fly around chirruping merrily. She led him to a beautiful house which was made from the whitest wood and had floor coverings of soft cream-colored woven mats.

When the old man was ready to go home, he asked the sparrow to guide him. She did so, and he flew back to his house, only to find that his wife had been there, and had cut out his sparrow's tongue.

This is a very well known story, and the tale is also told in other cultures throughout the world. It illustrates the dangers of jealousy and greed, as well as the importance of friendship in a life.
