Tranquilos, que nadie se asuste... no vamos a sufrir una invasión de demonios del averno (al menos eso espero  ). Me he permitido la licencia de usar ese titular por un motivo concreto. Hoy, 21 de junio, es la fecha en el hemisferio norte (en el sur ocurre al contrario) del solsticio de verano. Arranca oficialmente la estación más calurosa del año y hoy el día tiene más horas de luz que ningún otro. Como ya comentamos en el blog en su momento, los antiguos romanos contaban entre su nutrido panteón de dioses con la figura de Jano (Janus en latín), el dios de los solsticios. Era también el dios de las puertas, de todos los inicios y de los finales. Poseía una rica iconografía –de la que algún día hablaremos más a fondo–, en la que lo más destacado era su representación con dos rostros, cada uno de ellos mirando en direcciones opuestas. De ahí que se le denomine también como Jano bifronte.
En lo que respecta a la temática de este blog, lo que más nos interesa de él es que los collegia fabrorum (las cofradías de constructores romanos) le rindieron una devoción especial, siendo su patrón.
Como decía más arriba, se consideraba a Jano el dios de los solsticios, las «puertas solsticiales» o «puertas del cielo». Así, el solsticio de verano era llamado janua inferni, la "puerta del infierno" o de los hombres, y el solsticio de invierno, janua coeli, la "puerta de los dioses". Además de patrón de los constructores, Jano era para los romanos el dios de la iniciación a los misterios. Era la «puerta», no sólo solsticial, sino también iniciática.
Esta devoción se transmitió a los canteros medievales y pasó a la iconografía y la religión cristiana bajo el culto a los dos «san Juan»: el Bautista, que tiene su festividad el 24 de junio (solsticio de verano), y el Evangelista, que tiene su festividad el 27 de diciembre (solsticio de invierno). Hay casos muy significativos en este sentido, en los que esta pervivencia es evidente. Jean Hani, profesor emérito en la Universidad de Amiens, menciona un notable ejemplo en la basílica francesa de Saint-Remi, en Reims: «En una vidriera aparece un único san Juan, que engloba en una sola figura al Precursor y al Evangelista, fusión subrayada por la presencia, sobre la cabeza, de dos girasoles (los dos solsticios) dirigidos en sentido opuesto: una especie de Jano cristiano, en suma».
No es el único caso. Otro día hablaremos de la presencia de zodiacos en iglesias y catedrales medievales. Hoy es suficiente con comentar que junto a algunos de estos zodiacos, generalmente esculpidos en las fachadas de los templos, y a ambos lados de Cristo, aparecen en ocasiones los "dos Juanes". Están marcando, de este modo, las fechas de los solsticios. ¿Qué simboliza esto? Como bien explica de nuevo Hani:
Del mismo modo que ellos ‘abren’ los dos períodos de la historia marcados por las dos venidas del Salvador, igualmente, en el plano cósmico, ‘abren’ las dos fases del ciclo anual, símbolo reducido del ciclo universal del tiempo y la historia; y en esta función, han reemplazado, desdoblándolo por así decirlo, al Jano bifronte, del que los Collegia fabrorum, antepasados de los constructores de catedrales, celebraban la fiesta en los dos solsticios.
Además, la división en la janua inferni y la janua coeli aparece también en algunas representaciones medievales del Juicio Final, en las que se divide la escena en dos partes: por un lado, los condenados que van al infierno –descienden, igual que el Sol a partir del solsticio de verano, o janua inferni– y, por otro, aquellos que se salvan –ascienden, al igual que el Sol tras el solsticio de invierno, o janua coeli.
En los templos medievales las representaciones de Jano son bastante habituales –además de los casos mencionados–, sobre todo en los zodiacos. Os pongo las imágenes de varios ejemplos. La primera corresponde a una representación del dios existente en la catedral de Amiens, en una serie de los trabajos de los meses. La segunda y la tercera proceden de la catedral de Chartres, también en Francia. En ésta última imagen Jano –aunque no se aprecia en la fotografía– está rodeado de símbolos del zodiaco.
Por supuesto, y como algunos de vosotros ya habréis adivinado, este culto a Jano, y más tarde a los «dos san Juan» en las logias medievales, se conserva en la masonería actual, pues tanto las fiestas solsticiales como los dos «Juanes» tienen gran importancia.·.

M.S: El valor de Alfa es 1, mientras el de Omega es 800. Sumados dan 801, un «anagrama» de 1080, y número que suma «peristera», la palabra griega que significa «paloma», símbolo del Espíritu Santo. EL DISCIPULO AMADO FUE JUAN MARCOS. FUERTE NEXO DEL TERMINO "AMADO" CON EL REY DAVID. ¿QUE TIENE QUE VER DAVID CON JUAN EL EVANGELISTA?
LA LLAVE DE DAVID
 En este capítulo, responderemos a la pregunta, "¿Qué es la llave de David?" En Revelación 3:7, Jesús dijo a la iglesia de Filadelfia que Él tenía la llave de David. En Revelación 22:16, Jesús envió a su ángel para dar testimonio a la iglesia que Él es la raíz y el linaje de David. En Hechos 13:22, encontramos que David era un hombre conforme al corazón de Dios.
¿POR QUÉ llamó Dios a David un hombre conforme a Su corazón? ¿POR QUÉ dio testimonio Jesús a la iglesia de Filadelfia que Él era la llave de David? ¿POR QUÉ envió Jesús a Su ángel a las iglesias para dar testimonio que él es la raíz y linaje de David? ¿POR QUÉ Dios mismo se identifica con David y POR QUÉ Jesús mismo se identifica con David? ¡¡La respuesta es la "la llave de David!!" La llave de Dios se encuentra en el Salmo 119. La razón por la que David fue llamado un hombre conforme al corazón de Dios y la razón por la que Jesús tiene la llave de David es que David AMÓ la Torá de Dios. ¡¡La llave de David es la Torá!! Examinemos esta verdad.
JESÚS TIENE LA LLAVE DE DAVID
En los capítulos 2 y 3 de Revelación, se escriben cartas a las siete iglesias de Asia Menor. De las siete iglesias, la iglesia con la más alta alabanza de Dios, es la iglesia de Filadelfia. La iglesia de Filadelfia se puede reconocer como la iglesia modelo entre las siete iglesias del libro de Revelación. Jesús le dice a esta iglesia que él tiene la llave de David. En Revelación 3:7 está escrito:

"Escribe al ángel de la iglesia en Filadelfia: Esto dice el Santo, el Verdadero, el que tiene la llave de David, el que abre y ninguno cierra, y cierra y ninguno abre."
Una llave es absolutamente necesaria para abrir y cerrar una puerta. Si Jesús tiene una llave para una puerta, DEBE ser importante. Además, DEBE DE haber una importancia referente a QUÉ llave tiene Jesús. En Revelación 3:7, Jesús nos dice que el nombre de la llave apunta hacia David. Por lo tanto, debemos comenzar a preguntarnos por qué Jesús enfatiza y resalta a David.
JESÚS ES LA RAÍZ Y EL LINAJE DE DAVID
Porque la Biblia es la Palabra de Dios, el último libro de la Biblia ha de ser importante para revelar el plan completo de Dios. ¡¡En verdad que lo es!! El libro de Revelación es la Revelación de Jesucristo que Dios dio para mostrar a Sus siervos las cosas que han de venir (Revelación 1:1). Si el último libro de la Biblia es importante, entonces, los últimos versículos han de ser importantes. Los últimos pocos versículos del libro de Revelación hablan del deseo de la segunda venida de Jesús y del deseo que la Novia de Cristo contraiga matrimonio con Él. En Revelación 22:16 está escrito:

"Yo Jesús he enviado mi ángel para daros testimonio de estas cosas en las iglesias. Yo soy la raíz y el linaje de David, la estrella resplandeciente de la mañana."
DAVID ES UN TIPO DE LA NOVIA DE DIOS
Las iglesias son ya creyentes en Jesús como Mesías. Así, Jesús no podía estar recordando a las iglesias a través de Su ángeles que Él es el Mesías. Entonces, ¿Por qué Jesús envía a Su ángel para dar testimonio a las IGLESIAS y NO a los incrédulos de que ÉL es la raíz y linaje de DAVID? Una vez más, Jesús quiere que Su IGLESIA se identifique con David cuando ellos se identifican con Jesús, ¿POR QUÉ?
David en hebreo significa, "Amado.". Es la palabra de Strong 1732. Amada es un término para la Novia de Dios. El Cantar de los Cantares de Salomón es un cántico poético entre Dios y Su Novia. En el Cantar de los Cantares 6:3 está escrito: "Yo soy de mi amado, y mi amado es mío... "
Por lo tanto, David es un tipo de la Novia de Dios. Consecuentemente, la Novia de Cristo DEBE identificarse con David, aun cuando Jesús nos dice que Él tiene la llave de David y es la raíz y linaje de David.
El versículo que sigue en el libro de Revelación siguiendo las palabras de Jesús que ha enviado Su ángel para dar testimonio a Sus iglesias de que Él es la raíz y linaje de David, es Revelación 22:17, según está escrito: "Y el Espíritu y la Esposa dicen: Ven…"
LA IGLESIA ESTÁ DESCUBRIENDO SUS RAÍCES HEBREAS
En los tiempos más recientes, el Espíritu de Dios está despertando a la iglesia en lo concerniente a sus raíces hebreas y al papel de la Torá de Dios en sus vidas. Este es el testimonio final de Dios a la iglesia por medio del derramamiento de Su Espíritu Santo para animar a los creyentes en Jesús como Mesías, a abrazar y comprender el papel de la Torá de Dios en el plan profético de Dios, antes de que Jesús vuelva a recoger a Su Novia.
Porque la Novia de Cristo enseñará la Torá a todas las naciones durante los 1000 años de la Edad Mesiánica (Isaías 2:2-3), el Espíritu Santo ha de despertar a la iglesia al conocimiento y comprensión de la Torá, para que Dios pueda levantar un ejército de gentes que amen a Dios con todo su corazón, mente, alma y fuerzas, sean espiritualmente maduros, y tengan el conocimiento de la Torá de Dios escrita en sus corazones. Por lo tanto, este movimiento del Espíritu Santo de Dios es como una preparación para que la Novia de Cristo se prepare para su boda con Jesús, el Novio.
LOS QUE ABRACEN LA TORÁ, ¿SERÁN LA NOVIA DE CRISTO?
¿Quiere decir que todos los que abracen la Torá a través del despertamiento del Espíritu de Dios, serán la Novia de Dios? ¡No!! La razón es que la Novia de Cristo ha de ser espiritualmente madura Y tener el conocimiento de la Torá de Dios. Algunos creyentes que abracen la Torá serán espiritualmente inmaduros. Sólo Dios puede juzgar nuestros corazones y sólo Él puede determinar entre el Cuerpo de Cristo, quién es espiritualmente maduro y quién no lo es.
EL MAYOR EN EL CIELO GUARDARÁ
LOS MANDAMIENTOS DE DIOS
Guardar la Torá de Dios juega un papel en alcanzar la madurez espiritual. Sabemos por las palabras de Jesús que los que guardan los mandamientos (Torá) de Dios y los enseñen a otros a cumplirlos serán grandes en el Reino de los Cielos, pero los que quebranten los mandamientos (Torá) de Dios y los enseñen a otros a no cumplirlos, serán los menores en el Reino de los Cielos. En Mateo 5:19 está escrito:

"De manera que cualquiera que quebrante uno de estos mandamientos muy pequeños, y así enseñe a los hombres, muy pequeño será llamado en el reino de los cielos; mas cualquiera que los haga y los enseñe, éste será llamado grande en el reino de los cielos."
Por lo tanto, Jesús está dando testimonio a las iglesias, a través de Su ángel, que Él es la raíz y linaje de David porque la Novia de Dios ha de ser un pueblo conforme al corazón de Dios y debe amar la Torá de Dios, como lo hiciera David. David en hebreo significa "Amado" y es un término para la Novia de Dios.
DAVID: UN HOMBRE CONFORME AL CORAZÓN DE DIOS
David fue un hombre conforme al corazón de Dios. En Hechos 13:22 está escrito:

"Quitado éste, les levantó por rey a David de quien dio también testimonio diciendo: He hallado a David hijo de Isaí, varón conforme a mi corazón, quien hará todo lo que yo quiero."
¿Por qué era David un hombre conforme al corazón de Dios? La respuesta se encuentra en el Salmo 119. ¡La razón por la que David era un hombre conforme al corazón de Dios es porque David AMABA la Torá de Dios! Examinemos el Salmo 119 para comprender esta verdad.
LA COMPRENSIÓN ESPIRITUAL DEL SALMO 119
El Salmo 119 fue escrito por David. Tiene 176 versículos. Están las veintidós letras del alfabeto hebreo. Es un salmo poético que pasa por todo el alfabeto hebreo en unidades de ocho versículos cada una. Veintidós veces ocho, hacen 176.
El alfabeto hebreo empieza por la letra, Alef, y termina con la letra, Tav. En Revelación 22:13, Jesús dijo estas palabras según está escrito:

"Yo soy el Alfa y Omega, el principio y el fin, el primero y el último."
El Alfa y Omega son la primera y última letras del alfabeto griego. La manera en que esto se diría en hebreo es "Yo soy Alef y Tav."
En Génesis 1:1 está escrito: "En el principio creó Dios los cielos y la tierra." Si examina este versículo en hebreo, encontrará que la cuarta palabra hebrea es, Alef, Tav."
Por lo tanto, en hebreo, Génesis 1:1 dice, "En el principio (Be-reshit), Dios (Elohim) creó (bará), (Alef, Tav)…" De aquí podemos comprender que Jesús es ciertamente el Alef y el Tav, el principio y el fin.
En cada versículo del Salmo 119, David alaba a Dios por Su Torá. Como Jesús es el Alef y Tav, el principio y el fin, entonces todo el Salmo 119 está escrito acerca de Jesús. ¡¡De esto podemos comprender que Jesús es la Torá viviente!!
Hay tres cosas principales que resaltan en el Salmo 119. Son las siguientes:
- La lengua hebrea
- La Torá de Dios
- El número ocho
En el Salmo 119, se resalta la lengua hebrea, porque pasa por todo el alfabeto, letra por letra. Se resalta la Torá de Dios porque en cada versículo del Salmo 119, David alaba a Dios por Su Torá. Se resalta el número ocho porque el Salmo 119 pasa por todo el alfabeto hebreo en unidades de ocho versículos.
EL SALMO 119: LA LENGUA HEBREA
Cada versículo del Salmo 119:1-8, empieza por la primera letra de la lengua hebrea, la Alef. Cada versículo en el Salmo 119:9-16, empieza por la segunda letra de la lengua hebrea, la Bet. Cada versículo en el Salmo 119:17-24, empieza por la tercera letra del alfabeto hebreo, la Guímel. Este modelo se repite por todo el alfabeto hebreo hasta el final del Salmo. Por lo tanto, el Salmo 119 resalta la lengua hebrea, la Torá y el número ocho.
LA IMPORTANCIA BÍBLICA DEL NÚMERO OCHO
¿Por qué se resalta el número ocho en el Salmo 119? Siete es el número de Dios para la perfección y plenitud. Los siete días de la creación representan 7000 años de tiempo. En el Salmo 90:4 está escrito:

"Porque mil años delante de tus ojos son como el día de ayer, que pasó, y como una de las vigilias de la noche."
En 2ª Pedro 3:8 está escrito:
-
"Mas, oh amados
(un término para la Novia de Dios), no ignoréis esto: que para con el Señor un día es como mil años, y mil años como un día."
Por lo tanto, los siete días de la creación son un cuadro espiritual de siete mil años de tiempo. El séptimo día de la creación, el Shabat, es un cuadro espiritual de la Edad Mesiánica del Milenio.
En Levítico 23, Dios dio a su pueblo siete fiestas. Son la Pascua, los Panes sin Levadura, los primeros Frutos, Pentecostés, las Trompetas, la Expiación y los Tabernáculos. Una vez más, el siete es el número bíblico para la perfección y la plenitud. Estas siete fiestas son importantes porque revelan el plan profético de Dios. Las cuatro primeras fiestas nos revelan sobre la primera venida de Jesús. Las tres últimas lo hacen sobre la segunda venida de Jesús. La séptima fiesta es la de los Tabernáculos. La fiesta de los Tabernáculos debe celebrarse durante siete días. En Levítico 23:33-34 está escrito:

La Fiesta de los Tabernáculos no es sólo la séptima fiesta sino que tiene lugar en el séptimo mes, y debe celebrarse por siete días. En esto, Dios está resaltando la Fiesta de los Tabernáculos y el número siete. La Fiesta de los Tabernáculos es profética de los 1000 años de la Edad Mesiánica. Al final de los 1000 años de la Edad Mesiánica termina el cuadro profético de los siete días de la creación y el día séptimo de las siete fiestas. Por lo tanto, a la conclusión de los 1000 años de la Edad Mesiánica, el plan profético de Dios para la raza humana se completará y se entrará en la eternidad.

La Fiesta de los Tabernáculos es una fiesta de siete días para Dios. Se celebra según el Calendario Judío del 15-21 de Tishrí. El octavo día, el 22 de Tishrí, es conocido en hebreo como "Sheminí Atséret" que significa, "La octava conclusión." El día siguiente de "Sheminí Atséret" es el 23 de Tishrí, que es conocido en hebreo como "Simjat Torá" que significa, "El regocijo de la Torá."
Por lo tanto, después de la conclusión del tiempo, según está representado por la Fiesta de los Tabernáculos, que es la séptima fiesta, en el séptimo mes, y celebrada por siete días, y es un cuadro espiritual de los 1000 años de la Edad Mesiánica, tenemos "Sheminí Atséret y Simjat Torá," que representa la eternidad.

En el Salmo 119, la Torá se resalta junto con el número ocho, porque Dios quería comunicarnos un mensaje espiritual a Su pueblo a través del Espíritu Santo, que la Torá de Dios es eterna. An Astronomer Looks at the Washington DC Map
If you are in DC the first week of May, you can go to the west side of the Capitol Building at sunset and looked toward the White House to see the sun. The image above shows the sun setting May the first, 20 degrees north of due west in DC. This event is the flip side of the story told by David Ovason about the sun setting over Penn Avenue in August, which you can see in the image below. Here you can see that the sun also sets there in May. Now, re-read his book where he talks about Pennsylvania Ave having been aligned to one sunset on one day.
If you are in DC the second week of November, you can stand on the west side of the CB to watch the sunset near the Jefferson Memorial to the left of the Wash Mmt. If you were there in February, the sun will be setting in the same place again after having made its southerly most pass in December. David Ovason never mentions that Maryland and Penn Aves are symmetrical to one another.
Penn Ave is NOT aligned to one sunset, but to two of them, just as Maryland Ave is!!

I remind Serious Students that these dates, early Feb, May, Aug and November correspond to what are known as the 'cross-quarter' days - the days half-way between the solstices and the equinoxes. In the northern hemisphere the cold peaks statistically on about Feb 6th, while the heat of the summer peak about Aug 6th. The mid-points are in May and November.
Students of astrology should note that the solstice and equinoxes happen on the cusp (beginning) of the cardinal signs, Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn. The cross-quarter days occur at 15 degrees of the fixed signs, Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius, 45+ days after the equinoxes and the solstices. If you know your zodiac symbolism you will recognize these four as relating to the four creatures which were depicted in Ezekiel and Revelation as - a bull, a lion, a man and an eagle. Here is a standard Royal Arch image used by Masons that bears the same creatures.
If you were to watch the sunset for a year from the west side of the Capitol, you would see the sun set in front of you in March and September, it would set on Penn Ave in May, it would set 31 degrees north of due west in late June, and on PA again in August - as Ovason points out.
Next you would see the sun set over Maryland Ave in November, it will set 31 degrees south of due west in Dec and over MA again in Feb. Instead of being oriented to one sunset on one day, the city appears to have been oriented to four sunsets on four days, as seen by Penn and Maryland Aves. The city is not aligned to the solstices but to the cross-quarter days; the fixed zodiac signs, not the cardinal ones.
Some of you may have seen David Icke's demonstration where he uses the image above from Charles Westrbrook's book to prove the DC streets were aligned to the solstices. Please note, first of all, that those three sets of lines are not all parallel, yet they are all labeled as a solstice alignment. (I have added the numbers on the right.)
If you study the solar arc, you will find that while the sun moves to 23.5 degrees north and south of the equator at the solstices, as seen from the equator, that arc widens as you move north or south on the globe. At the latitude of DC, the total solar arc is 62 degrees, 31 north and south. That is, the sun is located 31 degrees north of due east on June 21 in DC.
Since the sun moves 71% of the arc between the equinox and solstice in half that time (45 days), The cross quarter day sunrises and sets happen at 31 x .71, or 22 degrees from due east-west in DC. That matches the alignment of Penn and Maryland Aves.
Take a look at the DVD named "Riddles in Stone" at about 17:00, where they are discussing the star Sirius, the brightest star in the sky. When you look at the earth's orbit around the sun, you will see that on July 4th, the earth is at its far point from the sun, and it is in such a position that the sun aligns with Sirius. That means that the sun is in front of Sirius, so that you can't see it.
In the DVD, it points to the cornerstone ceremony for the Washington Monument, noting that the sun aligned with Sirius then. They fail to point out that the ceremony took place on July 4th, and that the sun aligns with Sirius then every year. Next they present an image of DC looking east -
They proclaim that on the day of the cornerstone ceremony for the monument, you would have been able to see Sirius rising in the east, and hovering over the Capitol Building as seen above. You now know that you can not see Sirius July 4th, since the sun lies directly in front of it then!! What you would have seen would have been the sun only. Sirius does not emerge from behind the sun until August, the time that David Ovason writes so much about.
Note also that in the DVD it is suggested that the pyramid was 'aligned' to Sirius; that is was built so that the light of Sirius would travel down one of the air shafts and fall on an initiate located in the Queen's Chamber. Have a look at a drawing of the Queen's Chamber and the shafts, and you can see that it is impossible for that to happen, as the southern shaft has a bend in it.

Obama, president of the New Age
 On Tuesday January 20 2009, Barack Hussein Obama was sworn in as the 44th President of the United States of America. The oath of office was administered by Chief Justice of the United States John Roberts, The inauguration didn’t really go as planned for Roberts stumbled slightly over the solemn ceremonial words causing the well-spoken Obama to stammer as well. On the 21st of januari the inauguration was repeated at the White House to take away all possible objections of a possible unlawful inauguration. This time in the absence of the press, Obama and Roberts were alone in the Map Room with Bejamin Latrobe whose portrait is hanging from the wall over the fireplace. Latrobe is the great architect of the Capitol in Washington. Noteworthy is the fact that Latrobe is a Freemason and, as such, Obama was taking the oath in the presence of a Feemason. Another interesting fact is that no Bible was used at the second inauguration! The day before during the official inauguration, the Bible that was used for the inauguration of the 16th President, Abraham Lincoln, was used as one of the most important ceremonial objects.

If the validity of the first inauguration is questioned, then what about the second inauguration? Lodge number 7 (Singleton Loge) in Washington organized a Freemason’s inauguration ball to celebrate Barack Obama’s inauguration. On the website singletonlodge.org , one can read that this lodge is the first Freemason’s lodge to ever organize a Presidential inauguration ball. It’s therefore striking that it happened to be Obama’s inauguration that was used to organize this maiden ball.
It’s common knowledge that George Washington, the first President of the United States, was a master mason. In 1788, he entered the Alexandria Lodge in Washington D.C. It was also George Washington who laid the cornerstone of the Capitol. The laying of the corner stone is an important masonic ritual. It originates from the ancient custom to place the cornerstones of a temple such that they would align with the Summer and Winter Solstices as seen from the center of the temple. The temple itself was aligned to the East such that the Sun would illuminate the center at equinoxes. This allowed the priests who were initiated into the ancient science of astronomy to track the annual journey of the Sun.
It’s therefore no surprise to discover that the Capitol is perfectly aligned East. This is the first sign that the layout of the government buildings and map for Washington D.C. were designed according to masonic principles. Another example is Washington Memorial which was built in commemoration of the first President, George Washington. Washington Memorial is an obelisk carved from marble, granite, and sandstone. It is the tallest obelisk ever built with a height of 169 meters. The obelisk is an important object in Freemasonry for astronomically it represents the Sun while esoterically it represents the Egyptian solar deity Ra. The ancient, astronomical knowledge plays a central role in Freemasonry according to the 32nd Degree Freemason Robert Hewitt Brown in his book ‘Stellar Theology and Masonic Astronomy’ from 1882. According to Brown, astronomy in Freemasonry is an ‘allegorical application of symbols and emblems to teach about the unity of God and the immortality of the soul’.

Not only President George Washington, but also many of his successors were Freemasons and/or members of secret societies. Former president George W. Bush, along with his father George Herbert Walker Bush, were both members of ‘‘Skull and Bones’, a secret society from Yale University. Rumors on the Internet speculate about the fact that Barack Obama himself could also be a Freemason and member of the black Prince Hall Lodge. Hard evidence for this claim can not be found, yet the claim can not be entirely dismissed either.
Freemason or not, Obama lives in the capitol of Freemasonry in the United States. Through the ages, the city of Washignton D.C. has been the center of Freemasonry. It is a well known fact, for instance, that the street plan behind the White House contains the esoteric pentagram, a fact that can easily be verified using Google Earth. It will be demonstrated in this article that this is not the only masonic influence on the architecture of the city of Washington.
The inaugurations of Presidents in my opinion have been influenced by the Brotherhood of Freemasons because they can be associated with important masonic related astronomical events. Most presidential inaugurations took place on March 4th with the exception of the inauguration of George Washington which took place on April 30, 1789. On this day, Venus rose at dawn along with the sun. The ensuing inaugurations took place starting from 1793 to 1933 on March 4th, with an occasional exception. This means that every eight years starting with the inauguration of John Adams in 1793 that Venus rose as the Morning Star during these inaugurations. The rising of the planet Venus as the Morning Star is an important ancient astronomical event still playing an important role in the initiation rituals of Freemasons as Filips Coppens explains in his book ‘The Stone Puzzle of Rosslyn Chapel’. Around the thirties of the last century, the rising of Venus on March 4 had shifted towards March 8, preventing Venus from being the rising Morning Star during inaugurations. As a replacement of Venus, Sirius became the new important astronomical object. Therefore, the inaugurations after 1933 were no longer were held on March 4 but on January 20 starting with the inauguration of Franklin D. Roosevelt on January 20, 1937. The date change was recorded in the 20th Amendment of the American Constitution.
On January 20, the star Sirius rises as the Evening Star in Washington D.C shortly after sunset. Surely it can’t be a coincidence that two of the most important celestial bodies Venus and Sirius both with a rich mythological history from ancient times rise as Evening or Morning Stars during Presidential inaugurations. The planet Venus in ancient times was associated with the mother Iananna and Astarte, while the Egyptian virgin mother Isis was associated with the dog star Sirius (Sothis). In ancient Egypt, the rising of Sirius as the Morning Star around the Summer Solstice marked the beginning of the flooding of the Nile and the start of a new year. Given the countless ties and connections with ancient Egypt, it is logical that both celestial bodies would therefore be very important in Freemasonry as well.
Barack Obama chose to start his inauguration with a celebration on Sunday, January 18 at Lincoln Memorial in Washington. Viewed from Lincoln Memorial, the obelisk resides due East in-line with the Capitol Building. In front of the obelisk lies a huge, elongated pool called the ‘Reflecting Pool’ for it mirrors the obelisk in the water.

Since the design of Washington D.C. was designed by Freemasons with an obsession for astronomy, it is not remarkable that the most important day of the USA ‘Independence Day’ has not been forgotten. On the Fourth of July when the Sun has reached the height of the tip of obelisk (at 8 ° 36’ above the horizon as viewed from Lincoln Memorial), the Sun, Capitol building and Jefferson Memorial will align. This alignment that can only be viewed on the 4th July (Independence Day) cannot be mere coincidence. It seems Washington has been carefully designed by Freemasons to record this important day for the United States of America.
At the Winter Solstice (21st December) another interesting alignment takes place. This time when the sun has reached the height of the obelisk, it will align with both Jefferson and Lincoln Memorial. These examples clearly demonstrate the masonic influence on the design of the layout of Washington D.C. using the obelisk as the central and ultimate symbol of solar worship and symbolism

Back to the inauguration on January 20th when Sirius rose as the Evening star..... Are there more astronomical clues about this day that are important? It seems that not only on this day in Washington Sirius is visible the longest time of the year, it’s also the day that the crossing of the Ecliptic and the Milky Way becomes visible shortly after sunset in eastern direction. Viewed from Lincoln Memorial, this crossing is situated straight above the obelisk. It’s almost as if the tip of the obelisk is pointing to this crossing!
Readers of my previous articles concerning this subject may know by now that the crossing of the Ecliptic and the Milky Way is exactly the place where the Sun resides in era-2012 (in between 1978-2017) at the solstices. It denotes a Great Celestial Conjunction ((Smelyakov-Wicherink where the Sun, after 26,000 years, resides once again at the Galactic Equator of the Milky Way during a solstice. It means the beginning and the ending, the Alpha and Omega of the Precession Cycle. It is the start of another Precession Cycle, in biblical terms the ‘End of Times’ and the start of a ‘New Age’. John Major Jenkins has coined this conjunction of the Sun with the Milky Way at the Winter Solstice of 2012 ‘Galactic Alignment’.
Ironically, if had been up to the first architect of the street plan of Washington Pierre L’Enfant, the area right behind the obelisk as seen from Lincoln Memorial would have been named ‘Jenkins Hill’. In 1791 at the time L’Enfant started to design the layout of Washington, what is now called ‘Capitol Hill’ was then named after a man named Jenkins who raised his cattle there.

This is the amazing astronomical event at the ‘We Are One’ festival on January 18 that Barack Obama witnessed shortly after sunset; Sirius rose as the Evening star while the crossing of the Galactic Equator and the Milky Way resided straight over the obelisk being reflected in the Reflecting pool. What an amazing display of gigantic astronomical masonic symbolism since the reflection of the obelisk in the pool symbolizes the conjunction of the Sun with the Milky Way! The ancient Egyptians regarded the river Nile as the counterpart on Earth of that great river in the sky, the Milky Way. It is no coincidence that the obelisk in Washington is placed at the head of elongated pool built to represent the Milky Way waters.

It is also no coincidence that the obelisk is situated between the Potomac and Anacostia River both forming, so to speak, the Nile-delta of the United States. Viewed from Lincoln Memorial, the Winter Solstice sun resides over the Potomac River (see the image of the Winter Solstice alignment) while the Anacostia River resides right behind the obelisk. Similar to Washington also Londen, New York, Paris and Rome have obelisks (Needles of Cleopatra) that are placed at the bank of the rivers that are rushing through the hearts of these cities.
What was revealed to Obama on Sunday, January 18th is the crossing where the Sun will reside during the Summer Solstice (21st June) of the years of a Great Celestial Conjunction (in between 1978-2017). President Obama mentioned not only the obelisk but also the Reflecting Pool in his speech at Lincoln Memorial, several hours before this astronomical were to take place. These were his exact words of hope:
