Es más fácil hacerse una idea objetiva considerando la posición de la Nave Tierra, que es la que se mueve. Precisamente el día gregoriano 1 de enero, la Tierra está entre Sirio y el Sol, de modo que durante esas semanas vemos a Sirio desde la parte nocturna de la Tierra.
Si hay alguna interrelación especial entre Sirio y Venus la desconozco.
En cuanto a la relación de Venus con el calendario/ciclo maya hay dos aspectos, uno en relación con el propio Gran ciclo de 5.215 años y otro con el Tzolkin de 260 días.
El Gran ciclo actual (Cuenta Larga) que termina el 21 de diciembre de 2012 comenzó hace 5.125 años en el 3.113 a.e.c. y la cosmología maya lo asocia a un fenómeno que denomina "Nacimiento de Venus", aunque aún no se sabe exactamente de qué se trata. Quizá pudiera significar que el 21 de diciembre de 2012 se produjera la "Muerte de Venus" o... el "Renacimiento de Venus" jeje.
Y en relación al Tzolkin de 260 días es posible que 260 días sea el tiempo que pasa desde que terminamos de ver a Venus hasta que volvemos a verlo, aunque esto es complicado de comprobar y confirmar.
En cuanto al calendario anual de 13 meses (x 28 días), comienza cuando vemos al Sol alineado con Procyón y Sirio, cuando en nuestra memoria cronológica/cristiana es el día gregoriano 26 de julio.
Conventional wisdom has long held that the Babylonians were among the first to use a 360-day 12 month calendar, but the Biblical record shows a different scenario. This study will reveal the record of the Biblical Patriarch Noah using this 360-day calendar prior to the great flood. Since Noah and his family were the only human survivors to live after the flood, all men can trace their genetic roots to his family. Thus the many cultural records of the great deluge found in ancient myths and archaeological records, obviously were written down after the flood, and would have followed Noah and his descendants. Noah is a key Biblical Patriarch because he represents the transition between the pre-flood and the post-flood world. Thus all the systems of Biblical timekeeping that we have already documented in the article on The Calendar of the Biblical Patriarchs, going back to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Joseph, after the flood, including the coordination of the luni-solar year, the year divided into 12 months of 30 days, giving a 360-day year relating to the 360 degrees of the circle, all are traceable back to Noah's day. Thus, the calendrical practices of the Biblical Patriarchs are summarized in Noah, combining the Lunar, Solar and Sidereal years in his standards of timekeeping. Since Noah was already 600 years old when the flood waters descended upon Earth [Gen. 7:6], Noah continued the use of his calendar leading up to and during the 120-year period (120 x 3= 360) wherein he built the Ark. The construction of the ark was according to God's revealed plan, which follows a consistent divine pattern, the same tripartite pattern found in the Tabernacle of Moses and the Temple of David and Solomon. Before we provide the evidence for Noah's 360-day calendar, let's review some additional evidence for the calendar based on the star Sirius. We have already documented the recognition of the star Sirius or Sothic Calendarin the Book of Job [Job 38:12-15], as the oldest book in Biblical Canon and the only book of the Bible specifically addressed to the time period known as the Patriarchal Administration, [see our Timeline]. Historically, the Sothic Calendarfirst appears in ancient Egypt as the earliest 365-day calendar in history. One detail to notice here is that every 4 years the 365-day calendar falls behind the 365.25-day calendar, which is where our modern practice of the "leap year" comes in to correct this problem. Thus, every 4 years (365 x 4 = 1460 days) a leap-day was added to keep the coordination of the calendar in place. Job tells us that these calendrical practices were already in place among the Biblical Patriarchs, as part and parcel of their standard practices in Astronomyand timekeeping, which God first revealed to Adam.
Job 38:31-33 Canst thou bind the sweet influences of the Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion? Canst thou bring forth the Mazzaroth in his season? Or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons? Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? Canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth?
Job's reference to the Mazzaroth above, refers to the entirezodiac of 12 signs, applied also by the Biblical Patriarchs. Among some of the earliest overt astronomical references in all of Scripture, these verses are important aspects of the ordinances of heaven, or "statutes from the Creator as laws of Nature that were permanently binding." The universal influence of the 365-day calendar and the division of the zodiac circle into 12 equal sections of 30-days each, represent two indispensible innovations in the history of Astronomy forming a foundation upon which the rest of ancient Astronomy and timekeeping were built. Thus the Biblical records of Job based on Noah, establish the advanced astronomical practice of the Biblical Patriarchs, providing a basis from which the roots of ancient and studies in Archaeo-Astronomycan be traced in their true context. Noah's Covenant with God took place after his family came out of the ark, and included the first burnt offerings on the altar that Noah built [Gen. 8:20-22]. This initial and unconditional Covenant not only re-established the major elements of Jehovah's Covenant with Adam, but also set a divine standard established later in the Old Testament Law, which was carried out in the ministry of the Tabernacle and Temple. The common tripartite pattern seen in God's divine design of Noah's Ark, the Temple and Tabernacle, exhibits the Creator's Intelligent Designof His temporal order of sacred Space-Time, that He first revealed to the Biblical Patriarchs. We are not speaking here of the modern politically correct version of Intelligent Designthat refuses to admit that God is the Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent power behind all Creation. On the contrary, God is the only One Who is capable and wise enough to design His Creation with the consistent themes of phiSymmetry running through all levels of His Four Kingdoms of Life and His temporal order in Nature, witnessing to His dominion. With Noah and his family preserved in the Ark, as the Biblical progenitors of human ancestry after the flood, we see his calendrical practices going back as far as the early 3rd millennium BC. On the other hand, the accepted historical record of the post-flood world does not put a 12 month, 30-day calendar in Babylon until around 1000 BC, and the final recognition of the 12 signs of a complete zodiac until around 500 BC. For the most part, this is based on the work of the late historian of ancient astronomy, Willy Hartner of Frankfurt University, who concluded that the transition from the Old-Avestan calendar to the Young-Avestan Calendar occurred on March 21st, 503 BC. This "Young-Avestan calendar consisted of 12 months, each of 30 days, except the eighth month which was 35 days." 1 Although Hartner's research provides historical evidence that the 12 month, 365- day calendar was in use in Babylon by this time, it does not prove that this was the first time it was used in history. One purpose of this Biblical study is to provide some strong evidence that the astronomer-priests of Sumer-Babylon were not the originators of this innovation in ancient timekeeping, but that in fact it originated with the Biblical Patriarchs.Astronomy
As we take a detailed look at the record of Noah's flood in Genesis 7, the first thing that requires our attention is the septenary pattern of the temporal record. In verse 4, God tells Noah that the flood rains were going to begin in seven days... From the very start of the events of the Creation Week, God had ordered temporal things according to a week of seven days. There is no historical precedent for a 7-day week in history that cannot be traced back to what the Creator instituted in the Creation Week [Ex. 31:15-16]. Thus the Sabbatical yearfounded upon this standard [Levi. 25:8], has continued through all sacred and secular calendars that followed, not only in Israel, but around the world. In Noah's Calendar the recorded dates of the flood in Genesis 7-8 are all Sabbaths, with one exception which we will discuss presently.
Genesis 7:11 In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, theseventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.
This is the first time the word "month" is used in the Bible, upon which the Lunar Monthwas founded in Israel. The first day of the New Moonwas considered holy, and was associated with the weekly sabbath, and was usually first visible near sunset. This also explains why the day began at sunset in Hebrew timekeeping. The New Moonthat began every month [Num. 28:11], especially in the holiest seventh month [Num. 29:1], were special days of sacrifice and offerings to the Lord, which were enshrined throughout the Old Testament Law in the Tabernacle and Temple of Israel. In keeping with this septenary pattern of God's temporal order, the seven sabbaths of years became 49 years, leading unto the 50th year of the Jubilee [Levi. 25:8-13]. As we have seen already the luni-solar year was harmonized according to the 50-year Jubilee via the phi ratio, with 618 lunations in each 50-year cycle. This harmony of the luni-solar year allowed a predictive capability pertaining to the eclipse cycle, which was terrifying to the ancient cultures based on divination, but not to the Biblical Patriarchs, for whom divination was forbidden by God. Instead these men of God reaped the benefits of honoring the Creator for His Handiwork, and enjoyed the precision by which He set the celestial orbs in their paths, as a witness to His glory. It should be noted that man has continued to struggle with this coordination of the Solar and Lunar Cycles throughout the rest of the history of human timekeeping, and it remains a problem even into modern times. Due to the evolutionary bias in modern science, most researchers have not been willing to give the Creator His due when it comes to recognizing His Intelligent Design of these elements of Creation, along with the ordinances of Heaven that rule on Earth. Their preference has been to choose to continue chasing their theoretical tails in the scientific and social circles that they frequent, so they can take credit for their scientific "discoveries," and keep those reseach dollars flowing. As has been documented in Ben Stien's recent film "Expelled," any researcher or educator who even mentions the words Intelligent Design has been blackballed by the evolutionary thought police, and many times lost their tenure and professional teaching positions as a result. This is the same social environment, influenced by athieism that has prohibited God from being mentioned in the classroom, and called into question the very idea of American politicians opening their deliberations with prayer. It has always been a recognition and honoring of the Creator that provided the impetus of the Natural Law approach to Astronomy, whose influence was key in the development of a predictive mathematical Astronomy that far exceeds any Astrology carried out by the ancient heathen idolators. Their divination only served to degrade the original truth of the Astronomy of the Biblical Patriarchs, which accounts for the roots of the world monomyth. For additional information and further evidence of this corruption based on Astrology, please refer to our study on Biblical Astronomy vs. Astrology, including the section on "The Corrupted Constellations," which will give specific cases where the astrological practices of divination changed the original meaning the Creator attached to specific star pictures. [Ps. 147:4] We should also take note that the specific calendar days marked in the Biblical record of the flood, were later enshrined as holy days in the Old Testament Law. The months of the year were designated by number, 3 of them in this record [2nd, Gen. 7:11, 7th, Gen. 8:4, 10th, Gen. 8:5]. Most of the other numbered months are named in the Penteteuch, which confirms that Noah was working with the same MazzarothJob was; an entire zodiac of 12, 30-day months, as implied in the 360 degrees of the circle linked to the 360 days of this calendar. These twelve months were not named in Israel until after the Babylonian captivity, centuries later. This tropical zodiacalso incorporates a practical knowledge of the pi ratioat work in Noah's calendar, long before it was ever considered in ancient Astrologyor celestial science. More importantly, it gives us a decisive glimpse of the mathematical sophistication inherent in this Calendar of the Biblical Patriarchs, without doubt revealed by God, not motivated by divination, but the Revelatory Astronomydisclosed to these ancient Patriarchs, long prior to the development of any celestial science in ancient Mesopotamia. The origins of the mathematical standards of a Sexegesimal place-value notation are also evident in this system revealed by the Creator, based on the dual solar yearof both its annualand precessional cycles. The great cycle of the precession of the equinoxesframed by the 20-year Jupiter-Saturn Conjunction cycle, provides a window on this SexegesimalRhythmof precession, that was the basis of every major celestial calendar of the ancient world. The 12 months of 30-days in the 360 day-year of Noah's Calendar, all multiples of 60, provide values where each degree of time was equal to 1/360 of a day, or 4 minutes. This gives us the 60 second-minute, the 60-minute-hour, and the (6 x 60) 360-degree circle, all of which we still use in the modern world. This place-value notation system afforded all kinds of mathematical calculations from algebra to linear and quadratic equations, which Otto Neugebauer says: "became the foundation of a theoretical of mathematical character,Astronomy"2 the ancestor of modern scientific Astronomy.
Genesis 7:24 And the waters prevailed upon the earth a hundred and fifty days.
According to the calendar of 12 months with 30 days each, utilized by Noah, this 150 day period consisted of 5 months. This is established in Gen. 8:3b, which states: "and after the end of the one hundred and fifty days the waters were abated." If we add these 5 months to the second month mentioned in 7:11, we come to the seventh month.
Genesis 8:4-5 And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat. And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month: in the tenth month, on the firstdayof the month, were the tops [rosh; H7218] of the mountains seen.
From the 17th day of the 2nd month, to the 17th of the 7th month is exactly 5 months, in the 12 month, 30-day calendar. The Hebrew word for the "tops" of the mountains in verse 5: "rosh" [H7218]2 in the context of Noah's calendar, is also rendered "Dog-star" in Job 38:13 and 15,in reference to the star Sirius, in The Revised English Bible.3The ancients many times used the mountain ranges set against their horizon, as a reference point to orient themselves regarding the seasonal positions of the stars, Sun and Moon in their cycles.Archaeo-Astronomynotes a rich history of this practice in ancient cultures of the world and this could be very early evidence, perhaps even of the origins of this practice with the Biblical Patriarchs. This would also have associated the only star that provides a 365.25-day calendar, that also happens to be the brightest star in the heavens, with the highest mountain peaks where the Ark came to rest. If this is evidence of Noah's wisdom regarding the recognition of the Sirius or Sothic Calendaras it became known in ancient Egypt, it gives us an initial glimpse that the Biblical Patriarchs kept both of these calendars at the same time, as part of their harmonized luni-solar year. This also agrees with the Creator's purpose for the celestial lights stated in Genesis 1:14-17, to shed light upon the earth, in relation to the timekeeping of weeks, days and years. The luni-solar harmony based on the phi ratio[1.618...] which contains 618 lunations in every 50-year Jubilee cycle, exhibits the divine signature of the Creator's handiwork, as the "Source of life" throughout all levels of His Creation. This is why we also find the phi ratioor the divine proportion, so ubiquitously in all levels of the Kingdoms of Life in Nature. The phi ratio is the master pattern of all growth life on earth, as various life forms progress through succeeding geometric stages of life development. This is God's way of illustrating His Intelligent Designof Creation. We find common elements of this temporal harmony in the 50-year Jubilee, preserved in the Old Testament Law, coinciding with the 50-year cycle of "Sirius A" with "Sirius B,," the White Dwarfcompanion of the Dog-star. The beauty and precision of the original pattern of the Creator's divine design of the heavens was clearly corrupted in Babylonian Astrology, witnessed in how the Babylonians later employed with their partial zodiacof normal stars, with elements of their sidereal year.Their normal stars were a group of 31 stars that appear in early cuneiform texts as reference points for planetary positions in Babylonian divinatory Astrology. Added to what we have found here in Genesis 8:5,inreference to the middle-east's highest mountain peaks, rosh [H7218] also occurs in the Biblical context of the summit of the ziggurat or Tower of Babel [Gen. 11:4], and the "cheif cornerstone" [Ps. 118:22, Eph. 2:20]. The blueprint of Noah's 360-day calendar was carried forward with the builders of the Tower of Babel, not in the original sense of spreading the message of mankind's Coming Redeemer, written in the celestial gospel, but in an idolatrous sense which began to mix in their idolatrous practices of Astrology with the original Astronomy of these Patriarchs, not honoring the true God. This is a major reason that they incurred God's judgement of the confusion of tongues at Babel, because this early attempt at a one-world government motivated by Nimrod, outside of Godly standards and opposed to Godly purposes, just had too much of an advantage going for it. Thus God took action to prevent it. You would think these people would learn that ultimately, it does not pay to oppose the Creator and His divine purpose, it only shows the extent to which "the god of this world has blinded the minds of them which believe not," [II Cor. 4:4]. Still, we find that many aspects of the original truth in the celestial gospel, were carried forward in a mathematical and geometric context, found in these Babylonian, Mexican and Egyptian temple-towers or "step pyramids," like the one found at Saqqara in ancient Egypt, built according to a septenary pattern. Below is an example of the Mayan Pyramids, like Quetzalcoatl's Pyramid, that incorporated a model regulated on the dimensions of the Earth, even as the Great Pyramid of Gizeh.
According to H.G. Wood: "the ziggurat of Jupiter Belus at Babylon had an ideal basis in the number 360. He describes a 7-staged pyramid in which each of the six upper stages is 360 inches shorter than the one next below it: the base side was 3,600 inches, and the total height of the structure was 3,600 inches. Wood therefore concludes that: the entire system of ancient Babylonian metrology appears to have been derived from 360 x 360 x 100 or, 12,960,000."4
This numerical total (12,960,000) happens to be half the length of solar years in the precession of the equinoxesshowing the precessional basis of timekeeping as an ancient temporal standard related to Noah's calendar. This perfect template of the cosmic order is based on the beauty of the precessional pattern, as seen in the sun’s trajectory through it’s annual course, where it "dwells" in each of the 12 houses of the zodiac for one month. The Sun moves in its circuit at a rate of12 miles persecondor 43,200miles per hour (1/3 of 1,296,000) carrying its train of planets in our solar system, and shedding its light upon the earth within the boundary lines of thetropic of Cancer and Capricorn. As the Sun illuminates the earth for twelve hours each day; (43,200 seconds), and since there are 86,400 seconds in each 24-hour day, we find the earth moving through 1,296,000 seconds of arc every 24 hours. It is also interesting to note that the diameter of the sun is 86,400 miles, thus the time it takes for the sun’s light to cover the space of the earth’s surface relates to it’s own diameter. We can find the consistency of this divine rule of light, or the Creator’s DNA, at every level of the temporal and physical order, marking & dividing the seasons, days and years [Gen. 1:14-18]. Also, this shows that the builders of the Great Pyramid were intimately aware of this divine standard, since they modeled the earth’s northern hemisphere on a [1/43,200] scale, upon which the Pyramid represents the exact dimensions of the Earth, long before they were rediscovered by modern science. When we divide the sun’s orbital speed of 43,200 mph, by the 12 houses of the ecliptic, we get 3600, or the number of arc-minutes in a solar day. This matches the 36 decans of the zodiac’s 360 degrees, the same celestial and numeric standard manifested at increasing powers of 10, showing the Creator's signature of Symmetry throughout His Creation. The sun’s orbital speed; of 43,200 mph, is also 10% of half of its circumference in miles (864,000 miles or 2/3 of 12,960,000). This is undeniably the signature of the divine Hand of the Creator, or the Great Geometer as the Pythagoreans called Him, exhibiting the dominion of His divine measure of Light, His own essence ruling over all kingdoms of terrestrial and temporal life. [John 1:3-4]
These mathematical principles survived in the Astronomy of ancient Mesopotamia which formed the basis of their advanced practices in celestial science, but with the adulteration of their practices in Astrology over time, they wandered further away from their true origins. As the floodwaters continued to abate so that the peaks or tops of the mountains were visible, on the first day of the tenth month, this according to Bullinger, was the only recorded flood date that is not a sabbath. In ancient Egypt where the Sothic Calendarwas based on the star Sirius, coordinated the first day of the sidereal year in harmony with the first day of the lunar year and the New Years Day of the solar year, that also marked the annual flooding of the Nile. But due to the 365-day Egyptian Civil Year losing a day every 4 years (365 x 4=1460 days) against the 365.25-daySirius calendar (1461 days), it actually took 1461 years for the Egyptian Civil Year to return in synch with the Sirius cycle's realignment on New Year's Day. Here we can see a year-day relation between the 1461 days of the Sirius calendar and the 1461 years it took the Egyptian civil calendar to realign with Sirius on New Year's Day. There are Biblical prophecy precedents for this day-year correspondence [Num. 14:34, Ezek. 4:4-6] which relate directly to the 40-year cycle, which itself contains 14,610 days, (1461 x 10). We have pointed out the significance of this 40-year generational cycle previously relating to Noah's period in building the Ark (40 x 3 = 120) along with the correlations to Moses leading the Children of Israel through the wilderness for 40 years, during the third 40 year segment of his own life of 120 years. We have also recognized the relation of this 120-year period (120 x 3 = 360) to Noah's Calendar. Again, this is evidence of the Creator's consistent pattern of symmetrical Intelligent Design throughout multiple levels of Creation, that collectively become an undeniable and overwhelming cascade of truth, exhibiting His Divine Omniscience. This is far beyond man's ability to fully comprehend, we can only point to its perfection and give honor and glory where its due, to the Only One capable of putting it All together-The Almighty God.
There were similar calendrical observances in ancient Babylon. Lets take time to closely inspect one of these rituals in ancient Babylon and note some of the important parallels between the mythology of ancient Egypt and Babylon, and the Biblical record. The creation myth in ancient Babylon was called the Enuma elish. It records the victory of their god Marduk, over the chaos of the underworld and his subsequent ordering of the Babylonian cosmos. Their ritual for the New Year occurred at the equinox either in the spring or the fall. This ceremony at the entering of the New Year was called akitu and it lasted 11 days, which is interesting in light of the fact that there is an 11-day gap between their 354-day lunar year and the 365-day solar year, which would have harmonized the luni-solar cycle, ushering the New Year. This 11-day gap expanded to 7 months over the 19-year lunar saros, and 235 full moons of the Metonic Cycle. According to E.C. Krupp:
"In the first three days of the ceremony, Marduk was symbolically confined in what texts call 'the Mountain.' For three days Marduk remains in the underworld, a realm of chaos and the dead. The term "Mountain" also refers to the tall, multi-leveled temple-towers (or ziggurats) the Mesopotamians built of clay bricks on the flat flood plain of the Tigris and Euphrates rivers. It is possible that this point in the ceremony was connected in some way with the ziggurat. On the Fourth day of the akitu, the Enuma elish was repeated, and this activity, accompanied perhaps by others, brought Marduk back to life and allowed him to emerge from the Mountain, or the underworld...Marduk's emergence from the mountain at the equinox and New Year, in any case, represents the creation of the world order. Krupp continues his statment: "By staging this myth in ritual terms at the turning point of the seasons and the year, the Babylonians recognized their cyclic nature of the world. The end of each year is a reentry into the time before the creation of the world. The previous world must break down before it is refabricated, and that is why Marduk is imprisoned and slain in the Mountain."5 [emphasis mine]
This scenario is most likely recalled in a cylinder seal from the Akkadian period [2360-2180 BC.] shown below. Here the Babylonian sun-god Shemesh (with a saw in his hand)appears at dawn, marked between the mountain peaks on the horizon.6 The idea of this equinoxsunrise at New Years is conveyed by the two-faced figure at the far right, an early representation of the Roman god Janus, whose two faces facing in opposite directions, symbolize one view of the going out of the year just passed, while the other face greets the coming New Year. The ancient Chaldeans actually attribute their astronomical knowledge to Noah, who was also known by the name Janus/Oannes, as the inventor of Astronomy. In these traditions Noah became a "two faced" diety since he could look both backwards and forwards via his astronomical expertise, and the truth that he and his family were the only ones who lived on the other side of the great flood.. This depicts how the Biblical Patriarchs themselves were diefied by the ancient heathen cultures of the middle east because Janus, as a corrupted form of Noah, was seen as a solar diety, like Shemesh. The Chaldean "Epic of Gilgamesh" is only one example of this traditional corruption, as witnessed in the Akkadian cylinder seal below.
The parallels of this myth in its agreement with what Christ endured are too close to be explained away as coincidence, especially since Noah was also seen as a forerunner of Christ our Savior. The Mythographers have just got the order reversed. They say that the myths came before the story as it is recorded in the New Testament, which is true, but their myths do not precede the witness of the stars that predate written human language, when the Creator recorded His celestial gospel, telling of the coming redeemer, on the fourth day of the Creation Week. The three days that Marduk spent in the realm of the dead, within the World-Mountain, represent the seven-leveled ziggurat rising above the chaotic flooded plains of the fertile crescent, mirroring the three days and three nights that Jesus spent in the heart of the earth [Matt. 12:40]. This fulfilled the legal definition of death, in the Law of the Old Testament, part of Jesus work as the passover lamb to fulfill every jot and tittle of the Old Covenant Law, which no other man could ever do, because Jesus is the only one qualified to die for the sins of humanity as a perfect sacrifice, a lamb of the first year, without spot or blemish. Jesus also conquered death when he was brought back from the dead, arising at the start of the fourth day. Jesus' resurrection most certainly ushered in a New World, throwing down and refabricating Satan's fallen kosmos, and world order of darkness which was handed over to him when Adam fell. It is noteworthy that Jesus was born on Tishri 1 of 3 BC, our September 11th, the equivalent of New Years Day on Israel's calendar, the anniversary of Creation, and he was crucified during the Passover on our April 28th, 28 AD. Both these dates are very near the equinox, his birth in the fall month of Tishri, the seventh and holiest month on the calendar of Israel, and his sacrifice in the spring month of Nisan.
The idea that the end of each year is a reentry into the time before the creation of the world, mirrors the disruption of the First Heavens & Earth that resulted from Lucifer's revolt and original sin, which left that world destroyed by the floods of II Pet. 3:6,aligning with the Gen. 1:2 record. This cosmology has been fully elucidated in our article on The Creator's Temporal Order, under the The Intelligent Designersection of our Try-God website.This period of chaotic floods is common to both Egyptian and Babylonian myths, not to mention many others, and is characterized by the world-mountain that rises above the chaos of the flood-waters, which threw time into disorder. It was the corruption of our Hero's journey written in the stars, but recast in the Astrology of the world monomythof these ancient heathens, that diluted the original truth with foreign admixtures. Yet for those with eyes to see and ears to hear, the truth cannot be covered, as we find it still shining through these ancient idolatrous veneers. The parallels of this record along with what we have already seen regarding the New Year observances in ancient Egypt, provide strong support for our thesis, that the major elements originally preserved in the celestial narrative of the promised coming redeemer, Jesus Christ, are mirrored in important aspects of these ancient myths. This explains why these tenets of the world monomyth, as Joseph Campbell called it, are so consistent the world over, in cultures separated in time and space. The Hero's journey, which is the master theme of all good stories, the record of the struggle of the protagonist against the antagonist, was first embodied in the story of the ages, written in the stars, and preserved as an archetypal memory at the deepest foundations of human history. Man has historically linked these observances with his temporal conception and calendrical practices, as a key aspect of his cultural world order, or the cosmology of his day. Thus our recognition of the tenets of Noah's calendar provide great keys to our understanding of the cosmology of the Biblical Patriarchs, which Noah preserved after the flood.
Genesis 8:13-14 And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, waters were dried up from off the earth: and Noah removed the coveringof the ark, and looked, and behold, the face of the ground was dry. 14 And in the second month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, was the earth dried.
In verse 13 above, "the first month, the first day of the month" is not only recognized here for the drying of the flood waters, but also coincides with the birth of Christ on Tishri 1, millennia later in 3 BC, New Years Day in Israel, also known as Rosh Hashannah, the anniversary of Creation, in Hebrew tradition. Tishri became the 7th month after the change that the Lord directed Moses to undertake in the marking of the Passover [Exod. 12:2,14ff], fulfilled by Jesus, the lamb of God. This denotes a change in the calendar of the Biblical Patriarchs Administration, preserved under Noah, transitioning to the Old Testament Law Administration under Moses, and it also officially recognizes the start of the Jubilee cycle in Israel [Levi. 25:8]. Once Jesus fulfilled every "jot and tittle" of the Mosaic Law, the Law ended and we are no longer under its myriad dictates, which were too heavy a burden for mortal man to bear. Thus we are commanded by the Apostle Paul in Colossians to:
Colossians 2:16-17 Let no man judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of a holyday, or of the New Moon, or of the sabbath days: which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
A significant aspect of our studies on Biblical Astronomy pertains to how the Astronomy of the Biblical Patriarchs embodies the shadow of things to come, as they are fulfilled in the Body of Christ, and future spiritual administrations. This provides us a good example of adhering to the principles of Biblical interpretation, allowing God's Word to speak for itself. One of these is that we "Identify to Whom a Scripture is addressed and to be aware of the administration in which or about which they were written." Those who believe that the entire Word of God is addressed to everyone throughout history, without respect to the different groups of people the Bible has distinguished [I Cor. 10:32], has caused great confusion & contradiction in rightly dividing God's Word [II Tim. 2:15]. The 7 Biblical Administrations are delineated in our Try-God Timeline for reference. A Biblical Administration is "a period of time in God's historical and spiritual timetable during which God deals with man in a particular way. It is governed by principles or spiritual truths that may be unique unto itself. In rightly dividing the Word of Truth, we must understand that these Biblical Administrations have to remain within the boundaries or confines in which God has placed them with His Word. The rules of life change in these various time periods, so we must see each administration within its distinct context. When we investigate 'to whom' a particular Scripture is addressed, we must also see which Biblical administration governs the rules." 7
Since Christ is the end of the Law, we are no longer subject to the dictates of Old Testament Law, but we live by the higher Law of the Love of God, upon which "hang all the law and commandments." Yet the accuracy of these ordinances of heaven continue to set the standard for truth in the important area of calendars and timekeeping that we continue to apply in modern times according to the perpetual Covenant of Day and Night [Jer. 33:20 -22]. This is one trait of a "mandate from heaven," that it's truth can remain applicable beyond the scope of its original Biblical Administration. As we summarize this eighth chapter of Genesis and the record of Noah's Flood, verse 22 certainly is worthy of our attention, as an ordinance of heaven that has remained a constant after the flood.
Genesis 8:22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
This verse is an important aspect of God's "Rainbow Covenant" with Noah, that the seasons, the productivity of the earth's cycles of plant life, and the Covenant of day and night[Jer. 31:35-37], would continue in the Second Heavens & Earth. In astronomical terms this a guarantee from the Heavenly Father that the Earth's obliquity cycle would remain intact. To recall the significance of theobliquity cycle, we should remember that the sun at the summerSolsticeis vertical; 90 degrees over-head to one in the Southern Hemisphere, on theTropic of Capricorn. At the same time, for those in the Northern Hemisphere on theTropic of Cancer one would witness the Sun’s high point at only 43 degrees above the horizon. The tropics exist because the earth does not revolve vertically on it’s axis relating to its orbit around the sun. The axis is removed from vertical by an angle presently measuring 23 degrees and 27 minutes, which is formally known as theobliquityof the ecliptic, or the cycle of obliquity, relating to this varying degree of the earth’s axis tilt. This angle of theecliptic not only governs the northern and southern limits of the sunrise on the earth’s horizon, witnessed on the winter and summerSolstice, but it also determines the locations of the tropical boundaries, 23 degrees & 27 minutes north and south of the Equator. The obliquity cycle actually refers to the range of just under 2.5 degrees, in which the earth’s axis tilt varies, over an approximate 41,000-year-year period. This cycle of variation related to the earth'sobliquityis actually part of the pattern of the Sexegesimal symphony of mathematical harmony that rules the celestial and terrestrial order, based on theprecession of the equinoxes. Thus all the doomsayers who have predicted that the earth would topple off its axis of current polar balance, are in direct opposition to the Creator's promise here in Genesis 8:22. It is the tilt of the Earth's axis currently at 23 degrees, 27 minutes from true north, along with the revolution and rotation of our planet around the sun that gives us our four seasons, and the 24 hour cycle of day and night, and sets the boundaries of the tropics. This 24 hour day-night cycle, based on God's Covenant of Day and Night, is also known as an anthropicconstant because if the days were even slightly longer or shorter, the temperature fluctuations between night and day would be too extreme to support life on earth. Jeremiah speaks specifically to this truth:
Jeremiah 33:25-26 Thus saith the Lord, If My covenant be not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth; 26 Then will I cast away the seed of Jacob and David My servant, so that I will not take any of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, for I will cause their captivity to return and have mercy on them.
This shows a direct relationship between the Godly designed anthropic constants of Creation that make life possible on earth, and the Covenant Promises of the Creator to mankind, here regarding the seed of Jacob and David carried forward by Noah's family. God is the One Who set in stone, the conditions and statutes that make life possible on earth, preserved and determined according to His purposes, This provides more direct evidence of the Creator's Intelligent Design in Creation, exhibited as an outcome of His relationship with Man.
In summary, all 3 major calendars recorded in Genesis 1:14-17 are applied practically by Noah, in consummate fashion as he preserved them after the flood. Once the heathen cultures on the otherside of the great flood initiated their corrupting astrological influences, the original unified calendar was lost, surviving only in pieces with different world cultures. The true vestiges of the "Covenant of day and night" remain in effect, and will continue according to the Creator's Covenant with Noah, until the New Order of the "Third Heaven" and the New Jerusalem supplants our current age-time. We can rest in the Godly guarantee of His protection and divine promise, until that great day when the current world kingdom is put down, with all its disease, death, global warming hype and destruction, and we will enjoy the eternal bliss God has promised us with in King of Kings-Jesus Christ!

La más brillante desde nuestro punto de vista y señal de comienzo del calendario de 13 meses lunares
Sirio es la estrella más brillante de nuestro firmamento tal como lo vemos desde el Planeta Aire y Agua. Es la estrella principal de una modesta constelación que apenas es distinguible: el Can Menor o el Perro Menor. Entre el Sol y Sirio hay una distancia de unos 9 años-luz, que es la distancia que recorre un rayo de luz durante 9 órbitas de la Tierra (9 años nuestros). Sirio está un poco más lejos que la estrella más cercana, Alpha Centauri, pero brilla más.
Cada 2 de julio, la Tierra pasa por el meridiano contrario al de Sirio, de forma que si la Luna eclipsara al Sol el 2 de julio, veríamos a Sirio en pleno día (y a la constelación de Orión también) bastante por debajo del Sol. Al otro lado del Sol estaría el punto de la órbita en el que estaría la Tierra el 2 de enero, cuando desde el Sol veríamos a Sirio debajo de la Tierra, y desde la Tierra vemos a Sirio en su punto más alto del cielo en todo el año, lo que significa que la Tierra está en el punto de su órbita más cercano a Sirio, aunque la diferencia entre el tamaño de la órbita de la Tierra y la distancia a Sirio sea insignificante (1 año-luz equivale a 800 Sistemas Solares).
Con todo, podemos considerar a Sirio como una señal de inicio del año gregoriano.
Sirio es inconfundible en nuestro cielo. Es fácilmente indentificable si observamos Orión y las tres estrellas que forman su Cinturón y trazamos una línea hacia "abajo". Así nos topamos con Sirio. Dado que el Cinturón de Orión marca el Ecuador Celeste, esto quiere decir que Sirio está en el hemisferio sur celeste.
Libro de Job 9:9: "Él ha creado la Osa y Orión, las Pléyades y la constelación del Sur".
Libro de Job 38:31: "¿Anudas tú los lazos de las Pléyades o desatas las cuerdas de Orión?"
Durante cada 20 de mayo, mientras estás en casa o caminas por la ciudad o pisando a pie desnudo la Piel de la Madre Tierra recibiendo el calor del Sol en la piel, el Sol está (aparentemente) justo debajo de las Pléyades. Es como el Rey Sol que se corona con una corona de estrellas. Realmente la Nave Tierra en la que viajamos es la que se ha colocado en el punto de su órbita desde el que nos da línea de visión de las Pléyades sobre nuestra estrella. Y en el año 2011 ocurre que la Tierra también se alinea con Mercurio, Venus y Marte.

En esta imagen vemos a un humano en el planeta Tierra a 24º06' al norte del Ecuador, en la medianoche del 20 de noviembre. El humano está justo en la línea entre el Corazón de la Tierra y las Pléyades, a las cuales tiene justo encima de su coronilla, como una corona de estrellas. Y se ve que mientras la persona sí está literalmente debajo de las Pléyades, el planeta no está debajo de las Pléyades.
El 3 abril de 2012 finaliza y se reinicia un ciclo entre Venus y las Pléyades en el que interviene también la Tierra. Y el 20 de mayo el Sol aparece bajo las Pléyades y la Luna pasa entre la Tierra y el Sol produciéndose un eclipse de Sol bajo las Pléyades. La parte más densa de la sombra de la Luna pasará por el sur de la isla de Japón y por la ciudad de Tokio, rozando a la ya famosa ciudad de Fukushima.
MITOLOGÍA DE LAS PLÉYADES EN DIVERSAS CULTURAS
La palabra "pléyades" deriva de la voz griega Πλειας (pleias) y significa "muchas"; y Πλειάδες Pleiades, "hijas de Pléyone"; o Πελειαδες "hijas de palomas". Los nombres de las siete estrellas son: Alcyone (Reina que ahuyenta el mal), Asterope (Abrir y cerrar), Electra (Laguna), Maia (Abuela), Merope (Comedora de abejas, también llamada Melissa), Taygeta (La del cuello largo) y Celeno (Cetrina). Son mencionadas por Homero, por Amos y por Hesíodo alrededor del 700 aC. En la era de orden dórico de la antigua Grecia, el calendario estaba regulado también por la posición de las Pléyades. Tenía dos partes, una a principios de mayo y otra a principios de noviembre, relativa a la ubicación de las Pléyades. Posteriormente, Hipócrates dividió el año en cuatro estaciones sobre la base de las Pléyades y su relación con el Sol, y se refirió a los meses Pléyade que comienzan el día de su culminación de la medianoche -cerca del 19 de noviembre.
En la mitología griega, las Pléyades eran las siete hijas del titán Atlas y la ninfa marina Pléyone, nacidas en el monte Cileno. Son hermanas de Calipso, Hiante, las Híades y las Hespérides. Junto con las siete Híades eran llamadas Atlántidas, Dodónidas o Nisíadas, niñeras y maestras del infante Dioniso. Las Pléyades eran ninfas en el cortejo de Artemisa, compartían la afición por la caza de ésta, y como ella intentaban mantener su virginidad. Tras ser Atlas obligado a cargar sobre sus hombros con el mundo, Orión persiguió durante cinco años a las Pléyades, y Zeus terminó por transformarlas primero en palomas y luego en estrellas para consolar a su padre.
Según una leyenda, sólo seis de las estrellas se pueden ver a simple vista, porque Merope se escondió por vergüenza por haberse casado con un mortal, Sisyphus, quien fundó Corinto. Algunos mitos también dicen que la estrella que no brilla es Electra, en señal de luto por la muerte de Dárdano, aunque otras pocas versiones dicen que se trata de Estérope.
Las Pléyades debieron haber tenido sus encantos, pues varios de los más importantes dioses mantuvieron relaciones con las siete hermanas, relaciones que acarrearon el nacimiento de varios hijos:
Maya, la mayor de las siete Pléyades, fue madre de Hermes con Zeus; Celeno fue madre de Lico con Poseidón; Alcíone fue madre de Hirieo con Lico; Electra fue madre de Dárdano e Iasión con Zeus; Estérope fue madre de Enómao con Ares; Táigete fue madre de Lacedemón también con Zeus.
En la India se las refiere como "Krittika" o Kārtikā, que del sánscrito se puede traducir como "cortadoras". En la tradición pre-védica (drávidas), las Pléyades se refieren las 7 Las madres de los antiguos humanos y por lo tanto, como las 7 jueces espirituales de la humanidad. Actualmente se conocen como las 6 enfermeras. Un antiguo calendario fue descubierto en Tirvalon. En ese calendario, el tiempo relacionado con el mes de noviembre se registró como "Kartica".
En Egipto, las Siete Hathor de la manada celeste fueron nombradas en un hechizo del Libro de los Muertos y los nombres que recibieron fueron: la "Señora del Universo", la "cielo de tormenta", la "que oculta, que preside su lugar", la "Tú, de Khemmis", la "pelo rojo", la "Rojo Brillante" y la "Tu nombre prevalece sobre Occidente". La tradición marcaba ofrecer oraciones por los muertos en la dirección de las Pléyades, para comenzar el viaje al paraíso de las estrellas distantes. Las "Siete Hathor"a menudo asociadas a un rebaño de vacas en cielo que proporciona el alimento, el pan y la cerveza, en el Otro Mundo. En el primer día de la primavera, en la medianoche, las Pléyades eran visibles a través del callejón al sur de la Gran Pirámide.
Llamadas Dilyéhé, "Pinlike Sparkles", es una constelación que marca los tiempos para la siembra para el pueblo navajo. Se dice "no dejes que Dilyehe vea que uno planta su semilla". Este es el momento de la siembra preferida para el maíz en el país navajo.
También llamadas Béésh Ashiké, "Hard Flint Boys", por los Navajo, son los danzantes negros del "Enemy chant" (Squaw chant o Enemyway chant) y de otras historias. En el cielo estos guerreros están practicando sus danzas, carreras y maniobras de esquivamiento. Son también llamados "los muchachos de la Vía Láctea" o "los muchachos arcoíris" pues se dice que es sobre estos fenómenos que ellos corren y practican sus artes. Algunas veces son referidos también como curanderos.
Los Lakota creen que las Pléyades, llamadas Cmaamc, que aparentemente es un plural arcaico de la cmaam sustantivo "mujer", son el hogar después de la muerte, pues el alma regresa a ellas.
El Kiowa y el Cheyenne tienen historias orales que relatan cómo siete doncellas fueron colocadas en el cielo de la noche para protegerlas de un oso. Estas siete doncellas se convirtieron en las Pléyades.
Los indios cheroqui, consideran que la estrella Alción -la más brillante de las Pléyades- es el centro en torno al cual se traslada el Sol (Sistema Planetario Solar) durante unos 26 milenios.
La tribu Apibones de la Amazonia brasileña cree que las Pléyades eran el hogar de sus antepasados. Los incas lasllamaban CAPOC Collea Coyllur, "el dios que lleva las cosas a la existencia". En el antiguo Perú las Pléyades eran veneradas como "Los árbitros del destino humano."
Estas primeras civilizaciones de América del Sur creen que las estrellas estaban habitadas y que los "dioses" vinieron de las estrellas para cambiar sus vidas para siempre. Creían que la gente de las Pléyades les enseñaron cómo utilizar cultivos fuego, plantar y cosechar y utilizar las matemáticas y la astronomía. En Polinesia son llamadas Mata-riki, que significa "Ojitos". Mucho antes de que los hombres vivieran en la Tierra, Mata-riki era una estrella única y hermosa, la estrella más brillante en el cielo. Esta estrella era tan brillante que rivalizaba con la luna en cuarto creciente y su reflejo brillaba y bailaba sobre él océano, iluminando al mundo con blanco su resplandor. Por desgracia así como era hermosa esta estrella era también era muy vanidosa y presumida: "Yo soy más bella que cualquiera de ustedes en el cielo enjoyado, incluso yo soy más bella que los dioses!". Tal jactancia enojó al dios Tane, quien era el guardián de los cuatro pilares del cielo. Tane pidió a Sirio y a Aldebarán que le ayudaran con sus planes. Sirio era la segunda estrella más brillante en el cielo y no le tenía simpatía a Mata-riki; y Aldebarán estaba colocado tan cerca de Mata-riki, que sufría las actitudes de la estrella. Así, una noche, Tane, Sirio y Aldebarán se deslizaron por detrás de Mata-riki y saltaron sobre ella. La pobre estrella se asustó tanto que empezó a correr y, finalmente, se refugió bajo un río, la Vía Láctea. Al principio estaba a salvo, pero luego de Sirio subió a la fuente de la Vía Láctea y desvió el curso del río. A medida que el agua drenada, el escondite de Mata-riki fue revelado y tuvo que huir de nuevo. Esta vez Mata-riki corrió bajo los arcos del cielo y más allá de los palacios de plata de los dioses. La estrella fue tan rápida que se adelantó bastante a sus perseguidores.
En Japón, la empresa automovilística Subaru utiliza como distintivo en su logotipo, la figura del cúmulo de las Pléyades.
También en el libro "Don Quijote de la Mancha" II, 41, Cervantes pone a las siete cabrillas en boca de Don Quijote:
Y sucedió que íbamos por parte donde están las siete cabrillas, y en Dios y en mi ánima que como yo en mi niñez fui en mi tierra cabrerizo, que así como las vi, ¡me dio una gana de entretenerme con ellas un rato...! Y si no le cumpliera me parece que reventara. Vengo, pues, y tomo, y ¿qué hago? Sin decir nada a nadie, ni a mi señor tampoco, bonita y pasitamente me apeé de Clavileño, y me entretuve con las cabrillas, que son como unos alhelíes y como unas flores, casi tres cuartos de hora, y Clavileño no se movió de un lugar, ni pasó adelante... Pues estando la región de fuego entre el cielo y la luna y la última región del aire, no podíamos llegar al cielo donde están las siete cabrillas que Sancho dice, sin abrasarnos; y pues no nos asuramos, o Sancho miente o Sancho sueña.
En la Odisea, Canto V (269-277):
"Con aquel dulce viento, Ulises divino desplegó su velamen; sentado rigió con destreza el timón; no bajaba a sus ojos el sueño, velaba a las Pléyades vuelto, al Boyero de ocaso tardío y a la Osa, a que otros dan el nombre del Carro y que gira sin dejar su lugar al acecho de Orión...."
En la Iliada, Canto XVIII (483-489):
"(Hefesto) hizo figurar en él la tierra, el cielo y el mar, el infatigable sol y la luna llena, así como todos los astros que coronan el firmamento: las Pléyades, las Híades y el poderío de Orión, y la Osa, que también denominan con el nombre de Carro, que gira allí mismo y acecha a Orión y que es la única que no participa de los baños en el Océano."
También se hace referencia a las Pléyades tres veces en la Biblia: Job 9:9, Job 38:31 y Amós 5:8.

Libro de Job 38:31: "¿Anudas tú los lazos de las Pléyades o desatas las cuerdas de Orión?"
También son mencionadas en el Popol Vuh (libro sagrado de los Mayas) bajo el nombre de MOTZ que significa "montón", significado semejante a "muchas" (pleias).
La siguiente es una doble imagen con una foto cenital de unas supuestas pirámides en el fondo marino. Si pasas el cursor del ratón por la imagen podrás ver una segunda imagen con la posición de las estrellas del cúmulo de las Pléyades y observar la coincidencia de la posición de las pirámides. No sabemos si es real o es un montaje, pero resulta espectacular, bonito y fascinante.
Evidentemente durante estos días alrededor del 20 de mayo no podemos ver a las Pléyades, y no por la distancia, sino debido a que la luz del Sol vela nuestra visión durante el día.
Pero... ¡sí podremos verlas a pleno día en el año 2.012! aunque realmente la única gran capital de millones de habitantes por la que pasará sombra de la Luna será Tokyo (y el monte Fuji), y quizá también Shangai (comentario sobre el evento).
Pléyades es el nombre de un bellísimo grupito de estrellas que sólo podemos ver las personas que habitamos en el hemisferio norte de la Madre Tierra, y durante los dos meses antes y después del 20 de noviembre.
Podemos localizar fácilmente a las Pléyades guiándonos por la estrella más brillante de nuestro firmamento: Sirio, que aparece en su punto más alto del año en la medianoche del día 1 de enero y con la constelación de Orión bien visible. A continuación proyectamos una línea que pase por las tres estrellas que forman el Cinturón de Orión. Si continuamos en la misma línea recta pasamos por Aldebarán y encontramos a las Pléyades. La siguiente imagen reproduce dicho esquema. El Sol está situado en el punto que corresponde al 20 de mayo.
En la siguiente escena tú mism@ puedes localizar a las Pléyades partiendo de la estrella Sirio. Puedes pinchar con el indicador del ratón sobre el círculo pulsante y arrastrarlo como si fuera el campo de visión de un prismático. Para detenerlo puedes sacar fuera del área del círculo el indicador del ratón.
Sólo desde el hemisferio norte de la Madre Tierra, durante las noches, podemos ver a las Pléyades durante 6 meses (media órbita) desde el 20 de agosto hasta el 20 de febrero. La noche en que vemos a las Pléyades en lo más alto del cielo nocturno es la del día 20 de noviembre cuando el Planeta Tierra se coloca entre el Sol y las Pléyades, un momento natural -como muchos otros- de inicio y fin de año.
Una teoría, procedente de culturas indígenas como la maya y la cheroqui, dice que el Sistema Planetario al que pertenece el Planeta cuya piel pisamos pertenece a su vez al sistema de las Pléyades, y que gira alrededor de la estrella Alción. Al menos, dos de las estrellas del grupo están a mayor distancia de Alción que el propio Sol. En cuanto a esta posibilidad de que Alción sea el centro en torno al cual gira el Sol(Sistema Solar) sólo el propio Sol lo sabría, claro que nos lo revelaría en su propio lenguaje, que no es humano, ni de letras y palabras, sino quizá de planetas y movimientos, órbitas y ciclos, un lenguaje gráfico y silencioso. Lo cierto es que existe una circunstancia cósmica más que curiosa, y es que los cuatro planetas interiores Mercurio, Venus, La Tierra y Marte, durante sus órbitas a diferentes velocidades, cada 1.512 años tienden a alinearse al mismo lado del Sol (igual que cada 12 horas lo hacen las tres agujas del reloj en cualquier punto del círculo del reloj). Ver.
Aquí vemos una recreación hipotética de las distancias entre las Pléyades incluyendo al Sol y considerando a Alción como centro del sistema. Como vemos, según las distancias calculadas por los astrónomos entre el Sol y las diferentes estrellas de las Pléyades, hay dos que están más lejos de Alción que el propio Sol: Asterope y Celaeno. La estrella más cercana actualmente sería Pleione, aunque la órbita más cercana a la del Sol(Sistema Solar) es la de Asterope, y mirando hacia Alción, la de Electra. Y más abajo puedes ver una escena con las estrellas identificadas por nombre tal como las vemos desde la Tierra.
Hace unos 5000 años, según el movimiento de oscilación del Sistema Solar, el Ecuador Celeste -proyección del Ecuador Terrestre al firmamento- cortaba por las Pléyades. En la siguiente escena puedes verlo. Si pasas el indicador del ratón sobre la imagen de hace 5000 años puedes ver una segunda imagen que corresponde al momento actual. La línea roja horizontal es el Ecuador Celeste proyección del Ecuador de la Tierra. En la primera escena las Pléyades aparecen en el Ecuador Celeste y Orión por debajo del mismo. La línea amarilla es la trayectoria del Sol, o una sección de la órbita de la Tierra, la sección que está frente a la sección que la Tierra está transitando.
La primera escena ocurría justo cuando el extremo norte de la Tierra señalaba a la estrella Thuban de la constelación de Draco, en tiempos de los antiguos egipcios. Esto quiere decir que la Tierra (o el Sol) es el vértice de un ángulo recto formado por las Pléyades y Thuban. También la actual Estrella Polar y Mintaka guardan la misma relación geométrica en el espacio universal. Así que en los últimos 5000 años el Sistema Solar ha oscilado haciendo que la proyección del Ecuador de la Tierra en el firmamento haya descendido respecto a la posición de las Pléyades.
Si consideramos nuestro Ecuador Celeste como el Horizonte Cósmico, podemos decir que las Pléyades comenzaron a asomar por nuestro Horizonte Cósmico hace 4.900 años y que ahora están ascendiendo. Hacia el año 4.200 alcanzarán su cénit -igual que el Sol lo hace cada mediodía a escala diaria con respecto a nuestro horizonte terrestre.
La situación de las Pléyades en nuestro firmamento tal como lo vemos desde la Tierra tiene su reflejo en la propia superficie de la Tierra, puesto que tanto la geografía de nuestro mundo como la "astrografía" de nuestro firmamento tienen un ecuador natural y un meridiano imaginario de referencia o partida que divide la esfera terretre o celeste en este y oeste. En el caso de la Tierra tal meridiano es el Meridiano de Greenwich (meridiano 0), y en el caso del firmamento es el Punto Vernal (punto del equinoccio de marzo, punto situado en la constelación de Piscis). Si las Pléyades están a 24 grados y 6 minutos (declinación) al norte del Ecuador Celeste, esta coordenada en la Tierra corresponde a un paralelo ligeramente más al norte que el del Trópico de Cáncer, y estando las Pléyades en "3 horas 48 minutos" (ascensión recta) del Punto Vernal, estas mismas coordenadas en la Tierra corresponden a la latitud de Arabia, y prácticamente a su capital, Riyadh. Más al oeste de Riyadh, en la misma línea de las Pléyades está la ciudad de Medina, en Arabia ("Medina" significa "ciudad", y se le llama "la Ciudad del Profeta").
Esto significa que las personas que habitan en Medina y Riyadh (y en ese paralelo 24º06' norte) tienen a las Pléyades justo encima de sus coronillas durante el mediodía del 20 de mayo y la medianoche del 20 de noviembre.
Gran cantidad de culturas de la Edad Antigua de la Humanidad han considerado a las Pléyades como señal en el firmamento. Las mitologías y cosmologías así lo revelan. En la cosmología maya son fundamentales. De hecho, por ejemplo, una de las estrellas es llamada "Maya", considerada gemela del Sol. O en la mitología griega se acuñó el propio nombre de "Pléyades". También otra estrella de las Pléyades es Atlas, y de aquí nace la leyenda de que Atlas sostenía a la Tierra sobre sus hombros. Otros nombres son "Las Siete Hermanas" o "Las Siete Cabrillas" o "Las Siete Palomas" en alusión a diferentes fábulas mitológicas.
El autor (o autora) del libro de Job de la Biblia menciona tres veces a Orión: dos veces en el Libro de Job, en 9:9: "Él ha creado la Osa y Orión, las Pléyades y la constelación del Sur", y más adelante en 38:31: "¿Anudas tú los lazos de las Pléyades o desatas las cuerdas de Orión?". Y también en el Libro de Amós 5:8.
En la cosmología maya se dice que la estrella principal, llamada Alcyone, es el centro en torno al cual gira nuestra estrella Sol, y por tanto su Sistema Planetario, y que, igual que por ejemplo el Planeta Saturno tarda 30 años en dar una vuelta al Sol, así el Sol tardaría unos 26.000 años en completar su órbita a Alcyone. Este tiempo es el mismo que tarda la Tierra en completar su ciclo de bamboleo o movimiento de precesión de los puntos equinocciales y solsticiales.
No obstante, la distancia a la que está Alcyone (unos 370 años-luz según los datos del planetario de stellarium.org) supondría que el Sol (y el Sistema Planetario) debería trasladarse bastante más rápido de lo que indican los cálculos realizados acerca de la velocidad de traslación del Sol (216 kms/seg). O los astrofísicos están en lo cierto o están en lo cierto los mayas, y el Sol (Sistema Solar) se desplaza bastante más rápido que 216 kms/seg. Una curiosidad numérica en relación a esta cifra de la supuesta velocidad de traslación del Sol (216) es que el Sol cabe 216 veces en el diámetro de la órbita de la Tierra (216 es 6x6x6).
440 años-luz es la distancia que recorre un rayo de luz durante 440 órbitas del Planeta Tierra al Sol. En términos de kms es inconcebible. Pero si lo reducimos 300 millones de veces ya que 300 millones de metros es lo que cubre la luz en 1 segundo, podemos hacernos una idea.
Desde la Piel de la Madre Tierra vemos a las Pléyades en un punto del firmamento que está justo en el borde de la región cubierta por la Luna durante 19 años (ciclo metónico) desde nuestro punto de vista en la Tierra. Durante su ciclo metónico, la Luna marca una especie de autopista ancha por la que transitan los planetas, y el Sol por el centro, marcando la mediana. Así, cada 19 años y durante varios tránsitos de 28 en 28 días, la Luna llega a eclipsar a las Pléyades. Actualmente está ocurriendo así. De hecho, por ejemplo, el 7 de enero de 2009 o el 2 de marzo ocurre un eclipse pleyadiano.
Aunque las demás estrellas no nos son visibles de día debido a la luz de la estrella más cercana (el Sol), sí podemos verlas cuando la Luna se coloca entre el Sol y la región de la Tierra en la que estamos. Es un eclipse de Sol. El 20 de mayo del año 2.012 tiene lugar un eclipse de Sol, justo debajo de las Pléyades. Antes, el 3 de abril, finaliza y se reinicia un ciclo entre Venus y las Pléyades.
Un momento cósmico -no sólo histórico- para vivir: contemplar a las Pléyades en pleno día. Esta misma firma en el firmamento (la Luna eclipsando al Sol muy cerca de las Pléyades) ocurrió justamente en el año 3.113 antes del inicio de la era cristiana, y especialmente desde la latitud de la Península del Yucatán, sede de la civilización maya que considera a Alción como centro entorno al que gira el Sol. Ese año, ese momento, se estableció como inicio de la actual Cuenta Larga del Calendario Maya, y tal Cuenta Larga finaliza el 21 de diciembre del 2.012. ¿Tales ciclos mayas están establecidos en base a acontecimientos cósmicos como estos en los que intervienen los astros, el Sol, la Luna, las Pléyades...?

In discussing the decision by the Church to ignore Na'amat Allah's 33-year (with repeating "8-leap-year") cycle, Cassidy and Steele have pointed to the ability of that system alone to determine an exact "true Equinox" longitude on Earth. As we have learned, Clavius' system spread the Equinox out over a 53-hour range, but there was nowhere on Earth that could have a true midnight-to-midnight Equinox. Under Allah's system, the Equinox, while neatly confined to a 24-hour period, would necessarily straddle two consecutive calendar dates. For instance, at Greenwich, England, the Equinox would fall from5:08 AM on March 21st to 5:08 AM on March the 22nd.
Assuming, however, the ultimately correct 11-day calendar change, under Allah's system the Equinox would always fall between midnight and midnight, but only within a narrow band of specific longitude. Along this strip of longitude the Equinox would always have occurred on March 21st. Therefore, this specific band of longitude would be the only one on Earth within which the Nicene edict could stay -- for literally thousands of years -- astronomically correct. This would probably have come to be seen as "God's Chosen Meridian," by all Churches that recognized the Nicene council.
That longitude is 77° West.

Observers will note that this is the longitude, to a high degree of precision, of the capitol city of the United States, Washington D.C. There is even a "meridian hill" in Washington that marks out the precise location of 77° West, placed there by the architect of the city, Pierre Charles L'Enfante. It is also the longitude of the first English settlements in North America. This, we do not think, is a coincidence. We are not alone in this suspicion.
Cassidy and Steele are also convinced that the English came to America not for any of the conventionally accepted reasons, but to claim a piece of " God's longitude." As we shall next see, the reasons are more than merely "Christian," and may have everything to do with chaos we have seen in Florida, and may yet see in the skies above ...
To any Christian believer, this tract of land would truly have been viewed as "sacred." As the only place in the world where the true Equinox could have been observed, the holders of this precious parcel could truly claim to possess "the Promised Land." At the time of Gregory, this strip of longitude in the New World was the exclusive province of the Spanish. This meant that " God's longitude" was under Catholic, not Protestant control. Cassidy and Steele have asserted that the reason for not adopting Allah's 33-year "Life of Christ" calendar cycle was because the Vatican feared tipping off the English as to the symbolic significance of this unique strip of land. They then suggest that when the English finally figured it out (after reviewing the Vatican's 1582 Reform Proposal), Elizabeth I (and her successor King James I), promptly launched a secret campaign to wrest control of this crucial longitude in the New World from those who previously claimed it. In this way, somewhat inexplicable geographical and historical decisions, as to the curious placement of these early English settlements, finally begin to make sense. As Steele puts it:
If you look down that meridian you will find that in the 1580s the settled areas (in the Caribbean, Peru, etc.) were under Spanish, hence Catholic, control. To grab part of God's Longitude and found a New Albion, enabling them to introduce a rival calendar — that Perfect Christian Calendar — and convert the other Christian states to the Protestant side, England mounted various expeditions which historians have since misinterpreted. In 1584-90 the so-called Lost Colony was sent to Roanoke Island, a bizarre place to attempt to start colonization but an excellent site from which to make astronomical observations to fix the longitude and thus decide how far inland New Albion should be. Similarly in 1607 the choice of Jamestown Island seems bizarre from the settlement perspective — why not out on Chesapeake Bay, and away from the attacks of the local Algonquians led by Pocahontas' father Powhatan? — but makes sense from the paramount need to grab a piece of God's Longitude. From the foothold the English managed to gain, Old Virginny grew and later other colonizers came to New England, and New Amsterdam was bought from the Dutch. But later utility/developments do not reflect the original purpose of the English coming to Roanoke Island and Jamestown Island any more than the Eiffel Tower was built to provide a mount for the many radio antennas which now festoon its apex.
Their theory is quite plausible, as far as it goes. But it ignores the obvious: if the Catholic Church knew the significance of the 77° longitude, they would certainly realize that the English knew it too, once they observed the settlement patterns of the first English expeditions. Why not then just go ahead and implement their better 33-year calendar? And why did the English never themselves implement "the perfect Christian Calendar?" What was to be gained in "Christian" (or, more practically, Protestant) terms of keeping up Gregory's ruse?
Nothing. Which is the problem.
So, do we have an alternative explanation ... a compelling reason that the 33-year calendar cycle has continued to be publicly suppressed (and by both sides) for the intervening 400 years?

To understand the motives of both sides, it is educational to examine the key figure in the English decision to seek the holy longitude in the new world, Dr. JohnDee.
Dee was a scientist, mathematician, and one of the most brilliant men of his age. Among his many accomplishments, Dee could list a series of writings on mathematics which rivaled those of contemporaries like Copernicus. His "Mathematical Preface" to Euclide's Geometry was written in English, rather than the traditional academic language of Latin so that it might be understood by the common people. Considered by historians to be equal in stature with Francis Bacon's 17th Century Advancement In Learning, Dee's "Mathematical Preface" was the first treatise in history that was specifically directed to all individuals who qualified as "Unfained Lovers of Truth," in order to open and expand the world of science for all people.
He was also in many ways the father of the British empire, as he was the one who established the legal claims of colonial territories world wide for Queen Elizabeth. He also applied Euclidian geometry to naval navigation, writing several books on the subject and drawing up charts for navigational use as well as designing instruments for the ships at sea to apply the principals he had developed. He eventually amassed a vast library of over 4,000 books on subjects ranging from ancient religions to the modern sciences.
Of course, like Caesar before him, he was also a mystic, a deist (a man of god who subscribed to no particular religion) and the Royal Astrologer to Queen Elizabeth I. Dee had ingratiated himself to Elizabeth during the reign of her Catholic sister, Queen Mary, by providing her with horoscopes for both Elizabeth and her sister. Mary had him imprisoned for sorcery, but upon her death Elizabeth brought him in as an advisor to her privy council. Dee used his talents as an astrologer to select the date of the Queen's coronation, and he was also a close friend of Francis Walsingham, head of Elizabeth's secret police. Walsingham used Dee frequently on overseas missions, where he acted as an agent for England. In this capacity, he always signed his correspondence with the Queen with the mark "007," and was used loosely as the model for Ian Fleming's super spy James Bond. Dee was also well acquainted with William Shakespeare, who apparently based his characters "King Lear" and "Prospero" (of "The Tempest") on Dee's highly complex life.
That last portrayal, of a man influenced and ultimately controlled by his fascination with magic, is perhaps most crucial; for while Dee was a God-fearing man and one the most accomplished scientists of his day, it was his forays into "magical pursuits" which ultimately defined him. In fact, one of Dee's biographers described him as "Elizabethan England's great magus."
That particular depiction is important, because of the crucial role of the "Magi" (from which the term "Magus" comes) in the historical events we have already described: namely, the birth and death ... and birth again of Christ, around which our Western Calendar for the last 2000 years (supposedly) revolved. According to Adrian Gilbert, author of " Signs in the Sky," the Magi were a secret priesthood educated in the Egyptian "Orion mysteries," who managed to find their way to the birthplace of Christ. They are the "Three Kings of Orient" (Orion) spoken of in the Gospel of Matthew, and Gilbert argues that they specifically saw Jesus as a "Horus King" type-figure. That Dee may have been linked with such a group is not particularly far fetched, as he had some noble blood in his family line and the Magi were a bloodline priesthood. If indeed the Magi were "King's from Orion," and Dee considered himself one of them, then his loyalties would necessarily be to that much older order, rather then the more modern Christian churches. This conclusion becomes even more obvious when we look at the actual magic rituals in which Dee thoroughly engaged.
Dee was a practitioner of "Hermetic gnosticism," a school of thought based on the ancient pre-Christian teachings of the Greek god Hermes. Hermes was in fact a mere copy of the much earlier Egyptian god of knowledge and language, Thoth. In this sense, all "Hermetic gnosticism" can be viewed as a worship of the teachings of Thoth. According to the Egyptian mythos, Thoth was one of the gods who came down to Earth, along with Isis and Osiris, to bring the fruits of knowledge, civilization and the sciences to the Egyptian people. This triumvirate of gods is the key to what became the vast Egyptian civilization, and Thoth is in fact thought to be the god who commissioned the great pyramids at Giza.
Dee was a learned man, and in his spiritual journeys he had discovered quite a bit about the ancient mystery schools of Egypt. In 1581, using his knowledge of these ancient practices, he began a series of attempts to communicate with "higher beings." His channel in this capacity was one Sir Edward Kelly, something of a self-educated rogue but a man well known to the English courts.

The focus of their efforts was to obtain the knowledge of the Book of Enoch, a supposed "lost book of the Bible" that contained the truth about man's existence, the afterlife and his future on Earth. Enoch was a fairly obscure figure in the now-traditional Bible, being seventh (tetrahedral spin symmetries anyone?) in line from Adam. Enoch, however, was unique in one respect: he was considered immortal, because God had taken him to Heaven without benefit of death after 365 years on Earth (an obviously important symbolic "connection" of Enoch with the calendar year ...). As Knight and Lomas have shown, Enoch is also the central figure around which a great deal of Masonic legend is centered, as he is said to have constructed the two pillars of Masonic lore to preserve the antediluvian high knowledge of Atlantis inside them.
Dee and Kelly were evidently successful in their attempts, as they eventually contacted an "angel" named Uriel. Uriel first provided them with complex alphabet of angelic language, and then proceeded to dictate the entire Book of Enoch to Kelly in this language. Dee, in turn, dutifully recorded all that was passed to the both of them by Uriel, and the various spells and incantations used and dictated in this process became a school of magic known as "Enochian magic." Strangely, portions of the apocryphal "Book of Enoch" were brought to Europe from Ethiopia in the 1700's, and were also found among the Dead Sea scrolls in 1947. Dee's version appears to be pretty much the same as those far later discoveries, and advocates of the Hermetic tradition have pointed to this as proof of Dee's success in contacting a higher spiritual being. However, given Dee's vast library of rare books and (as we have and will show) his affinity for the knowledge of ancient Egypt, it is also plausible that he got his information from one of those secret textural sources.
All of this would seem on the surface to be wholly irrelevant to the questions at hand, much less to the issues of "Faces on Mars" or on-going "ritual NASA cover-ups." However, this is not the case. Dee had an immense effect on later occultists, most notably Aliester Crowley. You may be surprised to find that both Crowley and Dee in turn had very influential effect on the founders of NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. That story, as extraordinary as it is and as important as it will ultimately become to understanding some currently inexplicable "ritual space events," is best discussed at another time. Suffice it to say that, unknown to almost all but a handful of academics, Dee's mystic pursuits reached far beyond Elizabethan England ... to cast a major shadow well into our Time.
The relevance to the entire issue of deliberate "calendar manipulation" is best understood when we look at Dee's involvement in the English response to the Gregorian Reform. After receiving a copy of the Papal Bull in diplomatic correspondence, Walsingham assigned Dee the task of evaluating England's course of action in the matter. Dee threw himself into the work, even setting aside his channeling with Kelly to fully devote himself to the task at hand. Dee worked under the utmost secrecy, an action which is interpreted by Cassidy as a need to keep the Spanish (and hence the Catholics) from learning that England was investigating the calendrical longitude.
Dee eventually finished his work "A playne Discourse and humble Advisefor our Gratious Queen Elizabeth, her most Excellent Majestie to peruse and consider, as concerning the needful Reformation of the Vulgar Kalendar for the civile years and daies accompting, or verifyeng, according to the time truely spent" on February 26th, 1582, and delivered it to Lord Treasurer Burghley to present to the Queen. In it, Dee called for an 11-day correction, as opposed to the Gregorian 10-day correction for 1582. But a note attached to the work allowed for a 10-day correction in 1583. In a complicated exercise explained by Cassidy, he asserts that Dee was actually trying to implement the 33-year"Anni-Domini" (Allah's) calendar by only seeming to "accept" the Papal Decree. But Dee's 10-day correction would only work if 1584 was declared subsequently not to be a leap year. This, however, was not done, and England stayed on its own calendar until 1752, when they finally acceded to the Gregorian Reform that most of the rest of the world had long been using --,but with an 11-day correction (instead of the "Gregorian" 10).In doing so, they actually set (by their own clock) the date of the Vernal Equinox on March 21st ... but only on "God's Longitude."
The issue of whether Dee was, by his "footnote," actually agreeing with the Gregorian correction is a controversial one among most scholars. The traditional view is that his note was meant to give the Queen an "out," in order to facilitate continued diplomatic communication and commerce with the Catholic world. Not only is this highly unlikely, given his (and the Queen's) documented distaste for Papal authority, but Cassidy points to a verse in Dee's own paper which clearly indicates that he was actually a clandestine advocate of the (remember, highly secret to both sides) 33-yearAnni-Domini Calendar.
ELIZABETH our Empress bright, Who in the yere of eighty three, Thus made the truth to come to light, And civile yere with heaven agree.
But eighty foure, the Pattern is Of Christ's birth yere: and so for ay Eche Bissext shall fall little mys, To shew the sun of Christ birth day.
Three hundred yeres, shall not remove The sun, one day, from this new match: Nature, no more shall us reprove Her golden tyme, so yll to watch.
Cassidy notes the following:
The third verse is usually held to predict that the accuracy of the new calendar will match the sun's behaviour (every Christmas day?) to an accuracy of one day in three hundred years. This is not much of a claim to accuracy since it implies a possible error of up to 0.0033 days between the real solar year (based on Christmas or New Year?) and the proposed Elizabethan reform's average year ... If Dee really meant to follow the Gregorian year-length and leap-year rule, then he would have known that the accuracy (for any point in the tropical zodiac) was much better than this apparent 0.0033 days/year claim ...
What is happening here is that Dee is embedding a code -- a deliberate and obvious error in his calculations -- which just happens to come out to a "decimal harmonic" of "33!" He was trying to signal to anyone "in the game" the significance of the cycle of "33."
The final verse is further viewed by Cassidy as claiming that for the next 300 years (from 1582) the Vernal Equinox will always fall on the same calendar day at some unspecified longitude. This in a nutshell is exactly the power and perfection of the 33 year Anni-Domini calendar cycle! And, it turns out to be -- in Cassidy's words -- "uncannily accurate." For if Dee's proposal had been implemented as he proposed, then the Vernal Equinox would have fallen on the March 21st, the exact Nicene date, at the 77° West longitude from 1580 to 1880.
What this all means is that, while Dee's paper created an impression that he could live with the Gregorian ten-day reform, he actually (and privately) fully understood the incredible significance of the "Holy Longitude" and the secret 33-yearAnni-Domini Calendar cycle. Further, he let it be known that England could wait upwards of 300 years to actually implement the proper reform, and still be within the bounds of the AD calendar. That this was clearly understood by Queen Elizabeth was confirmed when she assured him, in an April, 1583 letter, "Quod defertur non aufertur" (What is deferred, SHALL NOT BE ABORTED!).
Ultimately, the proof of this is not to be found in endless scholarly debates about the meaning of poetic verses, but rather in what specific actions Dee, Sir Walter Ralegh and Queen Elizabeth herself actually undertook ... to implement The Plan.
One needs only look at the subsequent actions of Dee and his associates to quickly determine that Dee had full knowledge of the "AD" calendar and its implicit scared longitude. Dee was heavily involved in a secret society known as the "School of Night," about which virtually nothing is known. Its members certainly did include Dee, Ralegh, Sir Frances Bacon, and a rather mysterious figure, Lord Fernando Strange, Earl of Derby. They met usually at Strange's estate and were viewed with suspicion by the religious leaders of the day because of their access to Queen Elizabeth.
It doesn't take too much to figure out what went on at these meetings, or what the subject of the discussions must have turned to often ... Bacon even wrote a "novel," published only posthumously in 1626, titled provocatively "The New Atlantis." It reads like a virtual roadmap of what these collective mystics had discerned from their studies of the ancient mystery schools of Egypt. The thrust of the story is of a shipwrecked crew landing on "a mysterious shore" in the New World, where they are greeted and ministered to by "a kind, wise old man" and his servants. He is simply the ambassador to what is revealed to be a substantial (and substantially secret) society in the New World. During the course of their stay, many secrets are revealed to them. There are barely veiled references to the "Society of Saloman's House" (an obvious allusion to the Masons -- who in their own lore are the ancient designers of Solomon's Temple), and a flat Egyptian-type (Horus) statement that this society is "the very eye of this kingdom." The book also contains references to "the coming Apocalypse," and states matter-of-factly that America is the land of Atlantis. It goes on to tell the tale of a vast and technologically advanced civilization overtaken by a catastrophic ancient inundation ...
That this is simply a thinly-veiled master plan for what was to become the "United States of America" could not be more clear. Bacon saw an egalitarian utopia springing forth in the New World, based on Hermetic "natural laws" and overseen by a quiet, benevolent secret society. That Dee, Bacon, Ralegh and their contemporaries sought to achieve this utopian state in the North American British colonies themselves is confirmed by their later actions, in which they actually sowed the seeds of the very secret society that they hoped would guide the people of the "New Atlantis." But in order to accomplish this, they must first obtain a foothold there.
When Dee decoded the Anni-Domini calendar, it must have confirmed to the School of Night that which they already suspected: that America was the special place that the antiquarian legends spoke of. What is certain is that immediately after Dee's calendar work was published, he and Ralegh began to do what was necessary for England (and by extension, their secret society) to establish a beachhead in America. By April 1585, after nearly three years of preparation, the first serious English expedition to colonize America was launched under the guidance of John White and Thomas Harriot. Harriot, a student of Dee's and close friend of Ralegh, was already well aware of the significance of the 77° longitude and the 33-year calendar cycle. Cassidy has discovered in Harriot's notes a number of references to the AD calendar system.

Lest you have any doubts that the location of the new 33-year cycle "prime meridian" was of the utmost concern to these first English settlers, you need only look at where they landed to allay your doubts. From their landing spot at Roanoke Island, Virginia, Harriot and White were in a perfect position to survey the land and the stars (remember, they didn't know it was exactly 77° W when they got there, only that they were close) and according to Cassidy, the proper longitude was marked out on the map that White brought back.
But things did not go smoothly. The first colony failed, as did a second in 1587. By 1588, England had other worries as the Spanish Armada set sail to invade her. Dee is famously credited with casting a "hex" on the Armada and conjuring the bad weather which contributed more to the Armada's defeat than anything the English navy did. Such was the extent of his reputation at the time.
As England lost interest temporarily in the New Atlantis, Dee and the School of Night set about creating a new movement which they intended to be the guiding star of their new World. The Rosicrucians, or "Order of the Rose Cross," are a quasi-Masonic group and had their roots in these early discussions (at least one of which was in Luneburg, Germany in 1586 when Dee was abroad). The order openly grounds itself in the ancient Egyptian mysteries of Isis and Osiris (Sirius and Orion) and it exerted a great influence throughout Europe's ruling elite from the early 1600's on.
But all their plans in the end were foiled. Elizabeth died in 1603 and was replaced on the throne by King James I, of Scotland. James was the first overtly Scottish Rite Masonic Royal, and he quickly imprisoned Dee, Ralegh and Bacon. The Masons obviously saw Dee and the School of Night as rivals in the quest to dominate the New Atlantis, and they were out of favor. Yet James and the Masons themselves must have equally understood the unique significance of the 33-year calendar cycle, because they promptly launched the Jamestown colony, located dead on the 77° W. longitude.
Curiously, Dee and Kelly had both left the British Isles shortly after his presentation of his calendar treatise to Elizabeth to travel in eastern Europe. There they circulated among the royal houses and curried favor with various emperors and kings. Kelly was quite successful in these ventures, Dee less so. Dee had left England in late 1583, to travel through Poland and Bohemia (territory which would ultimately become Germany) at the invitation of Polish Count Lasky. Lasky had rather mysteriously just "shown up" in England inquiring about Dee and Kelly's channeling and other occult activities. Kelly laid claim to success with alchemy (he was actually Knighted by the Holy Roman Emperor Rudolph, ostensibly for his "alchemical" contributions to the Court).
What they seemed to be doing was spreading the knowledge of something among these high houses. We have found that they were very successful in doing so.
Shortly after Dee had returned to England in 1589, a young law student named Johann Bayer(1572-1625) made a contribution to astronomy that almost certainly sprang from this "secret knowledge" that Dee had apparently been spreading "on the Continent." Bayer was a Bavarian "amateur" astronomer, who first named stars by assigning them to constellations and giving then Greek letters (alpha, beta, gamma, delta, etc.), in order of decreasing brightness. His seminal work, the "Uranometria" (published in 1603), not only set this new standard for stellar designation but also created several entirely new constellations ... one of which will ultimately have a major role in unraveling the mystery we have before us.
What Bayer did was to literally "carve out" a new constellation from the stars of Canis Major. Canis Major of course contains the key celestial player in the Millennium madness we are documenting -- Sirius. Bayer's new constellation is also located precisely on the meridian with Orion, a relationship which we took to be a "marker" of some kind for future events. He named this new constellation "Columba," apparently after "the dove that is sent out from Noah's Ark to search for dry land after the deluge." What we next needed to do was figure out the history and mythology of this new constellation, and any connection to the New Atlantis Dee and Bacon had been seeking.
"[Columba] was made up from the southwestern outliers of Canis Major, near to the Ship [Argo] -- Noah's Ark -- and so it was regarded as the attendant Dove."
And from Genesis:
At the end of forty days, after the flood, Noah opened the window of the ark that he had made and sent out the raven to see if it could find dry land; and it went to and fro until the waters were dried up from the earth. Then he sent out the dove from him, to see if the waters had subsided from the face of the ground; but the dove found no place to set its foot, and it returned to him to the ark, for the waters were still on the face of the whole earth. So he put out his hand and took it and brought it into the ark with him. He waited another seven days and again he sent out the dove from the ark; and the dove came back to him in the evening, and there in its beak was a freshly plucked olive leaf; so Noah knew that the waters had subsided from the earth. Then he waited another seven days, and sent out the dove; and it did not return to him any more. (Genesis 8:6-12)
So, why did the authors of Genesis depict a dove in this key role? Because (see Peter Tompkins, and/or Temple) of the geodetic role of doves in "primitive" geographical surveying. So, "doves" equal a priestly code for "earth measurement." And "doves" in the Noah story indicate a need to determine exact lat/long ...again, after a major, watery catastrophe ...
Robert Temple, author of the aforementioned "Sirius Mystery", has exhaustively explained the deeper connection between the Argo (the Ark) and Sirius ... Most interesting is his discussion of the deep (hidden?) relationship between the true nature of the companion to Sirius, Sirius B -- the amazing white dwarf -- and a little known visible star in the same constellation of Canis Major, called by the Arabs, "Al Wazn" -- "Weight" -- so-called (according to a leading Arabic astronomy expert) because "...the star seems to rise with difficulty from the horizon." The Arabic expert, Ideler, called this "an astonishing star name."
Temple goes on to equate this nomenclature, applied to a visible member of Canis Major, with the ancient, degenerate, "hidden knowledge" regarding the actual existence of Sirius B -- the super-dense (but invisible to the naked eye) white dwarf that orbits in the Sirius system. What Temple did not know (or did not report, because he considered it irrelevant for his discussion) was that when Bayer "stole" some of Canis Major's stars to compose the new constellation, "Columba," in 1603 -- one key star of the new constellation was this same "Al Wazn" ... "Weight!" The same star that Temple, just under 400 years later, identifies with a "secret," degenerated knowledge of the Sirian system itself ...
So, there is an undeniable connection (through this star) between the "Sirian Complex" of the Dogon myth and mythos of Canis Major ... and the "new" constellation of Columba, "the Dove."
The other strong connection to Temple's Sirius Mythos comes with Columba's association with "Argo" -- the Southern Constellation representing (loosely) "Noah's Ark" -- and its classic use as an escape from a great planetary flood/disaster.
Temple refers to the other variants of this same Hebrew story then circulating in the Middle East, including "The Egyptian story [according to Allen, that] said that it was the ark that bore Isis and Osiris over the Deluge ..." (!!) Now -- if you refer to the major MIT science historian, the late Livo Stechini (in a significant appendix to Tompkins: "Secrets of the Great Pyramid"), you find that Stechini makes an excellent case that the "doves" of the Noah story are actually a classic Egyptian reference to "a standard Egyptian glyph for the stretching of meridians and parallels." (!)
So ... it's clear that the "secret" creation of a visible new constellation called "the Dove" (Columba) in 1603, out of some Canis Major stars, linked with Argo and the entire Sirian Complex, was not accidental. It was, instead, secretly emblematic at that precise time of the transposition of the terrestrial Egyptian "meridians and parallels" into the sky ..!!!
Now, why do you suppose -- just after the BIG Calendar Change at the end of the 16th Century -- someone would have wanted a visible (Egyptian) marker in the sky to denote "celestial meridians and parallels?" Why indeed ... except, in part, to visibly mark in the sky (to those "in the know") the orientation of the critical "plane of the Earth's axis" at the end of the Twentieth Century ... when Sirius would cross the Meridian at Midnight ... in "2000?!"
Now ... things get even more interesting.
As Knight and Lomas have shown in "Uriel's Machine" there was a Sixth Century monk who took the Church from Ireland to Scotland. He also was heavily involved with the importation of a "sacred stone" imported from the holy land (read: ancient Egypt) used in all subsequent Scottish (and later English) Coronations. Oh, his name ..?
"Columba!"
Why was he named "Columba?" And why did the Founding Fathers (mostly Masons -- from "Columba's" new home, from Scotland!!) centuries later call the New Republic they created in the New World "Columbia?" The classical story is, of course, that it all had to do with "Christopher Columbus" -- the "discoverer" of America and the New World; actually, as we have seen, Columbus was only rediscovering the "lost Atlantis" that most learned men of the day already knew was out there. In part, this prior knowledge was reinforced by at least one of the major "best selling manuscripts" of Columbus' time (even Queen Isabella was said to own a copy!): the remarkable story of another Irish monk -- "St. Brendan, the Navigator," a contemporary of "Columba" -- who also (curiously ...) made a pilgrimage to Scotland.
According to Brendan's own telling of the tale, a thousand years before 1492 (!), Brendan and fourteen other monks purportedly sailed west in a fragile skin-clad boat, to seek this fabled "Promised Land." Most of the voyagers, including Brendan himself (his manuscript continues), successfully returned to Ireland after seven years -- with amazing tales of everything, from "whales" to "icebergs," seen along the way.
So, was this a real, 6th Century "Irish Expedition" to the New World, or ... merely a clever means of passing down through the centuries "secret" Gaelic knowledge of this crucial "Promised World?" Even more intriguing: was St. Brendan's name somehow accidentally substituted in this "code" for the far more appropriate (etymologically and geodetically speaking) "Columba," in the centuries-long recopying and retelling of the tale ..? Is this one of the reasons why the Masonic (Scottish) founders of the Republic ultimately called America "Columbia" ..?
We'll probably never know.
What we do know is that, potentially confirming this speculation, is a little known story that Columbus actually with him took one Irish crewman. A true detail -- regarding his desire to have a serious student of "St. Brendan's voyage" on his own extraordinary journey -- or, just another "layer" of the deep symbolic "messages" we have discovered surrounding all of these contemporary speculations regarding the location and meaning of "the New World" ... St. Brendan's "Promised Land?"
In light of these abundant symbols, however, we also think it highly likely at this point that Columbus himself was something of a carefully-crafted "fabrication" -- his own, now legendary name being increasingly doubtful as to its true origin. The literary choice of a "Columbus" (Columba?) as leader of this later 15th Century expedition to the New World would have been supremely appropriate -- as another secret "code" -- carefully meant to memorialize to "the chosen few" this ancient geodetic knowledge of the New World ... and its crucial coming role in "the next Flood."
America: the ultimate "Columba" marker to the celestial ticking clock that only can be understood from this unique New World ... when time runs out -- again.
The sudden astronomical appearance of the "dove" of Columba in sky charts, circa 1603 (remember Dee's preoccupation with navigation; sailing to and establishing colonies in the New World; the "secret" 33-year Calendar; finding (measuring!) "God's Longitude," etc, in this time frame?) indicates the need to determine the exact lat/long of "God's Longitude" in the New World, to accurately PREDICT the NEXT catastrophe ... ergo, the "hidden multi-leveled symbology" of "the Dove." And that is exactly how Columba can be used today ... as the "clock" just south of Orion, to indicate (together with Sirius) exactly how much time we have left ... and measured from WHERE (the United States)... until "Noah" happens again ...
What this all implies is that the members of these various and sundry secret orders had come to believe that there would be another Flood. So much so, that they set up "coded markers" -- both through a series of "staged events" occurring on the ground, as well as clandestine signposts in the sky -- to prepare their descendants with appropriate warnings ... and the Time. They then set about warring over the sacred land (America) that they all believed would play a key role in this coming eschatology. However, it now seems that at least one of these groups, contrary to the prevailing "wisdom," considered the possibility that the whole disaster might well be totally averted!
And even more, this "rogue society" must have understood the danger to their plans if the truth ever came out about the significance of the 33-year cycle calendar. Because, of course, the 33-year calendar is based not on "the life of Christ" at all; it is based, instead, on a major secret held close by the Masonic order itself, and on the curious geometry of some very old things in another old "Atlantis" ... literally on another world ... at a place called Cydonia.
