"11:11:11: Activating the Mayan Stargate" Full Moon in the Land of the Maya

Noah's Ark The Stars of Noah's Ark This is highly speculative - but a possible explanation.
|
. Noah's Ark in the Stars in Cubits - based on the Biblical Description
.
The building of the ark began with the setting of the star Aldebaran and the neighboring star cluster Hyades (= Noah). Aldebaran (and the Hyades) was the node to the first star of Scorpio (beta-Scorpionis) rising, representing the nodes of the ecliptic with the equator of the celestial sphere - hence, the "heavenly" water line, so to speak.
The ARK of Noah in the Stars
|
|
The tip of the ARK were the two end stars of Monoceros setting. From thence the ark continued along Monoceros to the head of Hydra setting and from thence along the length of Hydra setting, with the door, Corvus (Latvian DURVIS = door, Caurvejs = opening), at the side of the ark, to Libra, then Scorpio (beta-Scorpionis and Antares) and from thence until the rising of the lower left corner star of the Great Square, Adam, noding with the first star of Capricorn setting, which is 300 days. The length of the ARK, as stated in the Holy Bible, was 300 cubits. Ararat is the lowest star on the keel (underside) of the ship, signifying the outer world. This is now a part of Hydra (from hydro- = water) the water serpent. The keel of the ship more or less marks the "water line" of the ecliptic to the celestial equator. The constellation Aquila is Noah's dove and the times given match those in the Bible. Here are the data in full:
According to the Bible, "In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened."
In 2340 B.C. the celestial equator was marked by the star beta-Scorpionis at the tip of Scorpio and at the other side by Aldebaran and the Hyades (Noah). From the rising of Aldebaran to the rising of Scorpio and the setting of the chosen folk of Orion (Pleiades, Aldebaran, Hyades, Orion) below the waters, twice around, is 600 days. Beta-Scorpionis rising is the node star to Aldebaran and the Hyades setting.
The Waters Prevail 150 days
|
|
And the water prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days. One hundred and fifty days from the rising of the first star of Scorpio to the rising of the star Aldebaran and the Hyades is 150 days. These are the stars of the upper ecliptic, when "dry land" is again reached.
Noah's Ark Rests on Ararat
|
|
And the Ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountain of Ararat. From the rising of the lower left corner star of the Great Square, Adam, the first day of the first month, to the lowest star of the Ark, the "keel star" of the ship, which sits on the mountain of the space of the world (Ararat, Sumerian Aruru, Latvian ARA=outer, outside), thus nearly noding the star Arcturus , is 227 days. Seven months of thirty days (as in Chaldea and Pharaonic Egypt) plus seventeen days is 227 days.
The Waters Decrease to the Mountain Tops
|
|
And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month; in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, were the tops of the mountains to be seen. From the rising of the lower left corner star of the Great Square, Adam, the first day of the first month, to the rising star beta-Scorpionis, noding with the setting of the folk of Orion (Pleiades, Aldebaran, Hyades, Orion and Sirius), i.e. the tips of the mountains, is 300 days. Ten months of 30 days is 300 days.
Noah Opens the Window of the Ark and sends out the Raven and Dove
|
|
And it came to pass at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark, which he had made. From the rising of the star beta-Scorpionis to Aquila, the bird of Heaven, is 40 days. Noah sends out a raven first (Cygnus) and then Aquila, the dove. The bird goes out three times for 7 days each. The two large stars of Aquila are separated by seven days. From Aquila to the extreme outer star of the Great Square is seven days. From there to the right upper corner star of the Great Square is seven days.
And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth.... The flood started in the 600th year of Noah's life and ends with the left lower corner star of the Great Square, the start of the 601st year. .
And in the second month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, was the earth dried. From the left lower corner star of the Great Square to the star Aldebaran and the Hyades, Noah, is 57 days. One month of 30 days plus 27 days is 57 days. .
Noah lived 950 years. From the star Aldebaran and the Hyades, Noah, thrice around to the star beta-Scorpionis (by Antares) is 950 days. Beta-Scorpionis (by Antares) rising is the node star to Aldebaran and the Hyades, Noah, setting. This position of the stars defined the nodes of the ecliptic to the sphere of the celestial equator in 2340-2300 B.C. See Sumerian Stars. Since all but Noah and his family passed away in the flood, the major stars are now named anew. Go to the Biblical Patriarchs now starting with Noah's son, Shem by clicking Abraham.Sumerian-Akkadian Utna-pishtim "Noah,Gilgamesh" = Latvian Udena Puisitim Sumerian-Akkadian Ziusuddu or Ziusudra "Noah" = Latvian Zens-udena (Zens-udra) Both variants are synonyms in Latvian and mean "Son of the Flood" |

Elul…

En fonética: "Any ledodi vedodi li".
10 + 10 + 10 + 10 = 40
Nota: Los meses hebreos tienen a veces 29 días y a veces 30.

After 227 days under floodwater all vegetation would be destroyed. What did Noah's animals eat?
No terrestrial plant life could survive submerged under deep water for a tenth of that time, but after landing on Mount Ararat Noah released the animals to fend for themselves. How did the herbivores survive? And if the carnivores survived by eating the herbivores, how come some herbivores still made it through (even though they had nothing to eat)?
Additional Details
No, Barry, nothing could have grown under floodwater that covered the mountaintops for 227 days. Ground plants need oxygen and light, neither of which could possibly have been present under such a depth of water. You should have been listening in your plant biology classes. Sorry.

As a kid I remember hearing the story of Noah and his ark and I believed every word of it. But as an adult, I am beginning to have some misgivings about this tale, mainly because I have developed the ability to think.
To begin with, I have a problem with what they called his boat. Why an ark? There are a lot of different names for boats. You can call it a ship, a vessel, a cruiser, a destroyer, a carrier, a dinghy, or a craft. His boat probably most resembles a houseboat, or since it carried animals, maybe we should be calling it a barnboat. So why an ark? But this is just semantics. Let's get to the real meat of the story.
According to Genesis, God began to regret making man. I was always taught that God knew everything, so how could He make a mistake? It also says in Genesis that God said that man's "lifetime shall be one hunded and twenty years." Can you imagine what that would do to social security?
Anyway God decided to destroy everything he created, man and beast, crawling creature and bird of the air. But he found favor in Noah. How did He decide that Noah was less evil than, say, a worm?
Then let's take the ark. God instructed Noah to make it three hundred cubits long and fifty cubits wide and thirty cubits high. Let's translate that into English. A cubit was about a foot and a half. So in a boat which was 450 feet long and 75 feet wide and 45 feet high, he was to cram two of every animal on earth into it. That's smaller than a football stadium.
I looked on the internet and found 36 different breeds of wild cats listed. And among domestic cats, God knows how many breeds exist. Dogs are another story. Imagine how many different types of dogs one finds on this Earth. And birds! Wow, can you imagine how much space it would take just to house a male and female of each species of bird? When you add reptiles and insects and other mammals, can you imagine the numbers? How could you possibly fit all of those into a football stadium? And what about fish? God wanted to destroy everything. Is a flood an effective way to destroy fish?
Here's another problem. God instructed Noah to load two of every type of animal. So what did the lions and other predators eat? If there were only two wildebeast on board, how long could the lions live on them? And if they ate them, how would that species continue? Two worms wouldn't have even been an appetizer for the two birds.
Gathering those animals wouldn't have been easy. Since this was close to the beginning of man's time on Earth, the ark was probably built in Africa or the Middle East, right? Well, how did the polar bears get on board? And the penguins? Did they swim the Atlantic Ocean to get to the ark? And if they could swim the Atlantic Ocean, why would they be afraid of a silly little flood?
Then let's talk about the flood itself. Genesis claims that the flood was the result of 40 days and 40 nights of rain. If that could cause a flood, you'd think Eugene, Oregon would have a similar flood every year. And this was no tiny flood. According to Genesis it covered all of the earth, and rose fifteen cubits above the highest mountain tops. Mount Everest reaches 8,850 meters. Add 15 cubits to this and translate it to feet and it comes to 26,595 feet. That's a lot of water. If you were in San Bernardino and swam to the top you'd get the bends.
Like I said, that's a LOT of water. I have a question for you. Where did all that water go when the flood ended? If it evaporated into the air, we'd have had a lot of cloud cover and a lot more rain, and probably a lot more floods. It doesn't just disappear, so where did it go? If it sank into the ground we'd have quicksand from the U.S. to China.
In chapter 8 of Genesis it says, "Then God remembered Noah, and all the wild animals and all the cattle that were with him in the ark." If God had instructed him to build this ark and load every living creature into it, and then created a flood to destroy everything else, how could he have even temporarily forgotten about Noah and the ark? Now He remembers?
Genesis also writes a confusing timeline. It says the flood lasted 40 days and that the water rose for 150 days. Does this mean it went on for 190 days total? Then it says in the seventh month on the seventeenth day of the month, the ark rested on the mountains of Aratat. If they are counting from the day the flood started, and there are an average of 30 days in a month, that comes to a total of 227 days. Then it says the waters receded until the tenth month. So that's 300 days. We still don't have a clue as to how long this flood actually lasted.
If I live to be a hundred and twenty years old, I probably still won't understand how this story could have actually happened.

NOAH'S FLOOD: Examination of scripture from the standpoint of an engineer
an essay by Ken Wear, 1998
The biblical story of Noah is important to me because of its impact on my life. When I first became aware of the movement that has become known as "Creationism," in the late 1960s, I was told that the single requirement for eligibility to join was acceptance of the literal accuracy of the biblical account of Noah's flood. At the time I peremptorily dismissed that flood as beyond the reach of reason. But now I realize how unscientific that attitude was because I did not attempt to describe the flood and its consequences in our vernacular and I was therefore depriving myself of the intellectual exercise that undergirds understanding.
I understand God to be a personality, much as you and I are personalities, having wishes and dislikes, capable of being pleased or displeased; if He was unhappy with the result of His creative effort, then He could be motivated to do something out of keeping with the ideal of all-embracing and total love. Certainly it is within God's ability to do whatever He sets about to do. Let us, for the sake of discussion, define a miracle as something outside the ordinary operation of physical laws as we understand them. We need not understand how they were accomplished in order to explore the magnitude of the miracle(s) accomplished during the Noah saga.
The entire Noah saga is described in Genesis, chapters 6, 7 and 8. Chapter 9 describes the establishment of God's covenant, but the flood saga is wholly contained within Chapters 6-8. The entire text, taken from the King James Version, is appended for reference; I quote as needed in this article only the verses crucial to this presentation. In studying the Noah saga one should be alert to possibilities of allegorical comment as well as poetic license.
Let us look first at dimensions.
6:15. And this is the fashion which thou shalt make it of: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits. 7:20. Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered. 7:21. And all flesh died that moved upon the earth . . .
Dimensions are outlined in terms of cubits, which is presumably a measure of length. How long is a cubit? Knowledge of the immensity of the ark requires us to have an estimate. From an encyclopedia comes the dimensions of the ark as 450x75x45 feet, or some 18 inches per cubit. Verse 7:20 tells us the water rose 15 cubits so that 'the mountains were covered.' Since verse 7:21 tells us that all flesh died that moved upon the earth, it must be presumed that even the highest mountains were covered; water 22-1/2 feet deep isn't nearly enough unless there is dual usage in the magnitude of the dimension reported as cubit since verses 6:15 and 7:20 seem at first blush to be at odds.
Elevations in modern Israel range from the Dead Sea at 1300 feet below sea level to Mt. Heron at 3963 feet above sea level. The Golan Heights' Mt. Hebron rises to 9232 feet. Mount Ararat, in Turkey, which may not be the biblical mountains -- note plural -- of Ararat, rises to 16,804 feet. Looking at elevations of mountains in the region, if 15 cubits was enough to cover them, then obviously the tradition that places a cubit at about 18 inches is seriously in error. If 15 cubits depth covered Mt. Heron, a cubit must be nearly 250 feet; the ark was indeed huge and very adequate to house all the creatures needing space. And with only three stories (6:16), each story must have allowed ample flying space for the birds to exercise. While I have little knowledge of the technology of the time, building such a vast ocean-going vessel was indeed an impressive feat. Let us grant the possible dual usage of the word cubit and move on.
(In actuality, the mountain referred to as 'Ararat' has never been clearly identified, so the above arithmetic may be questioned. If the flood was in the cradle of civilization -- the valley and flood plain of the Tigris and Euphrates rivers -- rather than Israel itself, there are mountains to the east, but I have not found information on elevations.)
Duration of the flood is reported in terms of Noah's life span.
7:11. In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. 8:13. And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first month, the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth; and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry. 8:14. And in the second month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, was the earth dried.
Simple subtraction yields a duration of one year plus ten days [375 days] from the time it commenced to rain until the flood subsided and the ground was dry. It rained 40 days (and nights) (7:12), the water 'prevailed' 150 days (7:24) [until day 190], and the ark came to rest on day 17 of month 7 (8:4) [day 227] though the mountains were not visible until day 1 of month 10 (8:5) [day 301]. After another 40 days (8:6) [day 341] Noah opened his window and sent out his dove (8:8) and again 7 (8:10) and 14 days (8:12) later. Elapsed time seems to be well accounted for. (These periods are reported in verses: 7:12. And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights. 7:24. And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days. 8:4. And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat. 8:5. And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month: in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, were the tops of the mountains seen. 8:6. And it came to pass at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the windows of the ark which he had made;)
Some may contend all animals were in hibernation during their stay in the ark; the biblical text is silent. However 6:21. And take thou unto thee of all food that is eaten, and thou shall gather it to thee; and it shall be for food for thee, and for them. suggests ample food and water were taken aboard. Apart from the logistics problem of assembling such a mass of food and water to support Noah's herd and family for over a year, there was little problem of space aboard an ark as large as it must have been. But sanitation must have worked the family pretty hard if the animals were awake in the ordinary sense.
What was destroyed by the flood?
6:17. And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die. 7:15. And they went in unto Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein is the breath of life. 7:21. And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man:
We recognize as life forms on our planet a wide range of beings, from simple to very complex - bacteria, fungi, worms, grass, trees, insects, fowl, fish, higher animals, man . . . Each has its necessary conditions for survival. Nothing is said of forms of life lower than those that creep; neither is anything said about creatures that live in lakes and oceans. Although life must have been difficult for fish and other aquatic life due to the upheaval in their environment and the destruction of many food sources, the Noah saga is silent about their deaths. It must also be supposed that vegetation perished under the waters although seeds may have survived.
It is the contention of evolutionists that the present mix of life forms resulted from successive differentiation of pre-existing forms as they adapted to changes in weather patterns and availability of foods. The suggestion of "survival of the fittest" is questionable because it does not allow for natural calamities and pure chance, so the doctrine of evolution as commonly taught may be in need of revision. At the same time it is the contention of creationists that God did it all in His six days and rested on the seventh, so that the entire sweep of species destroyed by the flood, numbering into the hundreds of thousands, were all created as already-differentiated species. We have seen the operation of evolution in our lifetimes in simple life forms such as viruses, so we know evolution at some level has been a factor since the original acts of creation.
Science's notions of evolution of species require extended lengths of time, measured perhaps in millions of years. Contemplation of the variety of species living today suggests a very rapid evolution in the decades following Noah's flood since it is questionable he could have successfully accommodated the entire range of species. Stock for this evolution, of course, came not only from the creatures aboard the ark but also from the aquatic species that survived. And the extended range of creatures over the planet suggests rapid travel after disembarking plus possibly unusual assistances in crossing waterway barriers.
Rounding up the creatures in order to take them aboard the ark is not addressed in the biblical account. But it is implied that they presented themselves to Noah for housing and transport, quite without his involvement. Neither is the appropriateness of food addressed, nor, indeed, any food at all for the carnivores. But problems of logistics I take to be easily managed by a Creator undertaking such a project.
Decomposition of plants and creatures killed by the flood must have been handled in some unorthodox manner. And reforestation and reestablishment of plant life must have had supernatural assistance.
The reason I had earlier peremptorily abandoned the Noah saga as overreaching in its claims arises from consideration of the behavior of water, or hydrology. Many of us have experienced floods, for the most part relatively minor ones. Our geologists rank the severity of flooding by frequency of flooding to that level, as 25-year floods, 50-year floods, 100-year floods, 500- year floods, etc. The concept is that only once in that span of years has a flood of that severity been experienced in that region. Where annual flooding occurs, it ordinarily reaches a certain level, but once in a century (or more accurately ten times in a millennium) it reaches a significantly higher level, the 100-year flood. I suppose the 10,000-year flood must be indeed mind-numbing in its extent and devastation.
Water, like all else, responds to gravity; in the case of water it rushes toward the ocean following channels of decreasing elevation. Even a few feet of flood water exerts massive forces as it flows toward lower elevations. More significantly, for our discussion, it cannot easily be restrained. Even today our strongest dams can hold back only a few hundred feet of water. And, unless the water be restrained, it will assuredly head for the ocean.
I have heard there is enough water tied up in glaciers in Antarctica to, if melted, raise the level of our oceans significantly, measured in tens of feet. Moreover, during the glacial epochs of earth's past, enough ocean water has been tied up in glaciers to drop the level of the oceans significantly, measured in tens of feet. There is a fixed quantity of water on our planet. Should there be universal flooding, even a few feet, inevitably the level of the oceans must drop, increasing the difficulty in restraining the water to increase the depth of flooding. Several hundred feet must surely deplete the shallower oceans, and a couple thousand feet must deplete the oceans completely.
To retain the water upon the land 150 days must have required some sort of impoundment such as dams. Even though the depth of flooding decreased after the 40 days of rain, to take such an extended time to recede requires the waters be restrained from their normal flow toward the ocean.
It is this twin requirement that boggles my mind: the quantity of water, and restraining it from returning to the ocean. As miracles go, this must far exceed in magnitude the relatively simple tasks of rounding up and feeding Noah's herd, followed by travel to diverse places and rapidly evolving to produce today's range of species.
I have no question of the reality of Noah's flood. It was a real event, survived and reported by real people. Nor do I question the effort of one family to protect animals. But it must have been limited in geographic reach. Even if repeated in other regions sequentially. Those who point to massive flooding in other parts of the world at roughly the same geologic epoch must keep in mind that events thousands of years ago and tens of years apart can rarely be distinguished time-wise through study of the geologic record. My thought is that a real event is portrayed in the Bible, and with a little poetic license during myriad renditions of oral tradition over a span of centuries before it was finally written down, it grew in extent to be universal as seen by people with limited geographic knowledge.
In studying the Noah saga it is evident that both allegorical comment and poetic license are involved in the story as it has reached us. Newsmen of today would have reported that same flood, or series of floods, very differently.

Genesis 6:
1. And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of
the earth, and daughters were born unto them,
2. That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were
fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.
3. And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man,
for that he also is flesh; yet his days shall be an
hundred and twenty years.
4. There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after
that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of
men, and they bare children to them, the same became
mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
5. And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth,
and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart
was only evil continually.
6. And it repented that Lord that he had made man on the earth,
and it grieved him at his heart.
7. And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from
the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the
creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth
me that I have made them.
8. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.
9. These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and
perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.
10. And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
11. The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was
filled with violence.
12. And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt;
for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.
13. And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before
me; for the earth is filled with violence through them;
and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.
14. Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the
ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch.
15. And this is the fashion which thou shalt make it of: The
length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the
breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty
cubits.
16. A window shalt thou make to the ark, and in a cubit shalt thou finish it above;
and the door of the ark shall thou set in the side thereof; with lower,
second, and third stories shalt thou make it.
17. And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the
earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of
life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the
earth shall die.
18. But with thee shall I establish my covenant; and thou shalt
come into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and
thy sons' wives with thee.
19. And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort
shalt thou bring into the ark, to keep them alive with
thee; they shall be male and female.
20. Of fowls after their kind, and of cattle after their kind, of
every creeping thing of earth after his kind, two of
every sort shall come unto thee, to keep them alive.
21. And take thou unto thee of all food that is eaten, and thou
shall gather it to thee; and it shall be for food for
thee, and from them.
22. Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so
did he.
Genesis 7
1. And the Lord said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into
the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this
generation.
2. Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the
male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by
two, the male and his female.
3. Of fowls also of the air by sevens, the male and the female;
to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth.
4. For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth
forty days and forty nights; and every living substance
that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the
earth.
5. And Noah did according unto all that the Lord commanded him.
6. And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters
was upon the earth.
7. And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons'
wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of
the flood.
8. Of clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean, and of
fowls, and of every thing that creepeth upon the earth,
9. There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and
the female, as God had commanded Noah.
10. And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the
flood were upon the earth.
11. In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second
month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were
all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the
windows of heaven were opened.
12. And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights.
13. In the selfsame day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and
Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah's wife, and the three
wives of his sons with them, into the ark;
14. They, and every beast after his kind, and all the cattle
after their kind, and every creeping thing that creepeth
upon the earth after his kind, and every fowl after his
kind, every bird of every sort.
15. And they went in unto Noah into the ark, two and two of all
flesh, wherein is the breath of life.
16. And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh,
as God had commanded him: and the Lord shut him in.
17. And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters
increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lift up above
the earth.
18. And the waters prevailed, and were increased greatly upon the
earth; and the ark went upon the face of the waters.
19. And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all
the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were
covered.
20. Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the
mountains were covered.
21. And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl,
and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth,
and every man:
22. All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was
in the dry land, died.
23. And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the
face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping
things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were
destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive,
and they that were with him in the ark.
24. And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty
days.
Genesis 8
1. And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the
cattle that was with him in the ark; and God made a wind
to pass over the earth, and the waters asswaged;
2. The fountains also of the deep and the windows of heaven were
stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained;
3. And the waters returned from off the earth continually: and
after the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters
were abated.
4. And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth
day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.
5. And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month: in
the tenth month, on the first day of the month, were the
tops of the mountains seen.
6. And it came to pass at the end of forty days, that Noah opened
the windows of the ark which he had made,
7. And he sent forth a raven, which went forth to and fro, until
the waters were dried up from off the earth.
8. Also he sent forth a dove from him, to see if the waters were
abated from off the face of the ground;
9. But the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she
returned unto him into the ark, for the waters were on the
face of the whole earth; then he put forth his hand, and
took her, and pulled her in unto him into the ark.
10. And he stayed yet other seven days; and again he sent forth
the dove out of the ark;
11. And the dove came in to him in the evening; and lo, in her
mouth was an olive leaf pluckt off: so Noah knew that the
waters were abated from off the earth.
12. And he stayed yet other seven days; and sent forth the dove;
which returned not again unto him any more.
13. And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in
the first month, the first day of the month, the waters
were dried up from off the earth; and Noah removed the
covering of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face
of the ground was dry.
14. And in the second month, on the seven and twentieth day of
the month, was the earth dried.
15. And God spake unto Noah, saying,
16. Go forth of the ark, thou, and thy wife, and thy sons, and
thy sons' wives with thee.
17. Bring forth with thee every living thing that is with thee,
of all flesh, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of every
creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth; that they may
breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and
multiply upon the earth.
18. And Noah went forth, and his sons, and his wife, and his
sons' wives with him;
19. Every beast, every creeping thing, and every fowl, and
whatsoever creepeth upon the earth, after their kinds,
went forth out of the ark.
20. And Noah builded an altar unto the Lord; and took of every
clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt
offerings on the altar.
21. And the Lord smelled a sweet savour; and the Lord said in his
heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for
man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart is evil
from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every
thing living, as I have done.
22. While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and
heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not
cease.

In building the calendar I used the paper by a person no longer online: http://www.angelfire.com/ga4/israelites/enochian_calendar_information.htm. Would love to credit that person here. The paper was excellent. I am also including the section on the mistake of translators to use the Hebrew CHODESH for "new moon". I am including it here so that it does not get lost, until such time as this person wants to reclaim the work online or, even better, is willing to allow me to show it with permission. |
Well Many will SAY and Argue until they turn blue that, " THE SCRIPTURES TELL US TO USE THE MOON TO DETERMINE OUR MONTH!!!" Lets see about that!!!
In the Hebrew Text three are three words that are translated in to ENGLISH, as Moon. These Yarah or Yareah, Labana and Chodesh, each one has a translation in English as either/and, Moon, Month or NEW.
We will take a non-Western/English analysis of each of the three words as they are used in the context of the Hebrew Text:,(Caution, when using the Strongs Concordance it must be remembered that, although it can be used as a reference and guide, in many instances there is the use of deceptive Western religious bias and confusion of Hebrew words and meanings. Therefore unless you know basic Hebrew letters so that you can see when one word is given different "peculiar" definitions, you are vulnerable to the mis-definitions of the words alone, this is especially the case in using lexicons to further study as Strongs isn't very intelligent when it come to distinguishing between certain Hebrew letters, like HAY(H) and CHET(CH), so be very cautious as you study-Selah).
LABANA-Hebrew word that is used to refer to the Light or whiteness of the Moon( root word means white)- (see Strongs #3842
See Isaiah 24:23; 30:26,
24:23, "For the stars of the heavens and their constellations do not give off their light. The sun shall be dark at its rising, and the moon not send out its light."
Yarah or Yareah: : The Hebrew Word translated as "Moon" in Genesis 37:9, the first mention of the moon by name in the English Text, is "Yarah or Yareah"(see strongs 3391 and 3394.).
Genesis 37:9, And he dreamed still another dream and related it to his brothers, and said, “See, I have dreamed another dream, and see, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars bowed down to me.”
Deut 4:19, "and lest you lift up your eyes to the heavens, and shall see the sun, and the moon, and the stars – all the host of the heavens – and you be drawn away into bowing down to them and serving them, which יהוה your Elohim has allotted to all the peoples under all the heavens. ( see also 17:3; 33:14)
Psalms 8:3, "For I see Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have established."(see also 72:5-7)
89:36-37, "“His seed shall be forever, And his throne as the sun before Me; Like the moon, it is established forever, And the witness in the heaven is steadfast.” Selah( see also 121:6; 136:9; 148:3):
Psalms 104:19, "He made the moon for appointed times; The sun knows its going down.**** Compare this contradiction to Jubilees 2:8-9 and Genesis 1:14.... (remember this is a poem or song showing forth someone who believed and followed the Moon for appointed times and NOT A LAW of Yahwah-Selah..we shall see why this is mentioned for appointed times below).
Isaiah 13:10, "For the stars of the heavens and their constellations do not give off their light. The sun shall be dark at its rising, and the moon not send out its light." (see also Isaiah 60:19; Jeremiah 8:2; 31:35; Ezekiel 32:7; Joel 2:10; 2:31; 3:15)
All of these Passages above use the Word Yarah or Yareah to translate the word Moon, and in each instant the Word is direct reference to the actual/literal Moon in the Sky. A passage in Psalms is the only passage that uses Yareah for appointed times...We shall see why below
The Next Word is Chodesh or Chadash( not to be confused with Qadash or Qodesh which means holiness). This Word in Hebrew Means, "New, recent, renewal, restore, repair, reaffirm)." Yet it is translated many times into English as NEW MOON, Yet the word NEW MOON would be YAREAH-CHODESH (Moon-renewal).... Lets see a few passages out of many of how Chodesh is used as NEW or RENEWAL,
Exodus 1:8, "Then a new sovereign arose over Mitsrayim, who did not know Yosĕph," (See also Numbers 16:30)
Deuteronomy 20: 5, "And the officers shall speak to the people, saying, ‘Who is the man who has built a new house and has not dedicated it? Let him go and return to his house, lest he die in the battle and another man dedicate it." (see also 22:8; 24:5; 32:17)
see also Judges 5:8; 15:13; 15:15; 16:11-12......
All of these references uses the Hebrew Word Chodesh/Chadash (CH-D-SH) in reference to something NEW... But then suddenly when you get to Samuel, the Modern Western Translators began to use the Word Chodesh for BOTH SOMETHING NEW and THE NEW MOON without a Hebrew Reference to the Actual Moon(Yarah/Yareah).. For Example:
In the Book of 1 Samuel in the actual Hebrew text of chapter 6:7 it says, "And now, take and make a new wagon, and two milk cows which have never been yoked, and hitch the cows to the wagon. And take their calves home, away from them".
Yet the same Hebrew Word for New suddenly is translated as NEW MOON in 1 Samuel 20:5,18, 24, "And Dawid said to Yehonathan, “See, tomorrow is the New Moon, and I ought to sit with the sovereign to eat. But let me go, and I shall hide in the field until the third day at evening."
Yet the Word for Moon(Yarah or Yareah) does not appear in the Text with Chodesh(New). Dawid Literally said, "See tomorrow is the "Renewal......". (What renewal? the Moon or MONTH? We shall see below.. be patient.)
This is not the 1st time this happens with the Translation of the Hebrew Text.. below are other areas where this occurs.. pay close attention as these verses are used today to justify following a NEW MOON where the text does not make reference to the moon at all!!
2 Kings 4:23, "And he said, “Why are you going to him today? It is neither the New Moon nor the Sabbath.” And she said, “It is well!”
See Also 1Chronicles 23:31; 2 Chronicles 2:4; 8:13; 31:3;
Ezra 3:5, "and afterward the continual burnt offering, and those for New Moons and for all the appointed times of יהוה that were set-apart, also for everyone who volunteered a voluntary offering to יהוה.
Nehemiah: 10:33, "for the showbread, and for the continual grain offering, and for the continual burnt offering of the Sabbaths, of the New Moons, for the appointed times, and for the set-apart offerings, and for the sin offerings to make atonement for Yisra’ĕl, and all the work of the House of our Elohim.
Isaiah 1:13-14, "“Stop bringing futile offerings, incense, it is an abomination to Me. New Moons, Sabbaths, the calling of meetings – I am unable to bear unrighteousness and assembly." (HERE THE RENEWALS BEING PRACTICED WAS NOT ACCEPTED BY YAHWAH!!!)
3rd Isaiah 66:23, "And it shall be that from New Moon to New Moon, and from Sabbath to Sabbath, all flesh shall come to worship before Me,” declares יהוה. "

NOT ONE TIME IN THE HEBREW TEXT IS THE WORD YARAH/YAREAH used!! Only the Word NEW or RENEWAL IS USED IN THE HEBREW TEXT!!!
In the Hebrew Text itself, apart from Western mis-translations, the Word Chodesh being referenced to is the "Month" not the Moon, which does not contradict the Book of Jubilees... lets see further proof,
****In Genesis 7:11, "In the six hundredth year of Noaḥ’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, on that day all the fountains of the great deep were broken up, and the windows of the heavens were opened...... See Also 8:4, 5, 13-14; 29:14;
****Exodus 12:2, 3, 6, 18) "This month is the beginning of months for you, it is the first month of the year for you. Speak to all the congregation of Yisra’ĕl, saying, ‘On the tenth day of this month each one of them is to take for himself a lamb, according to the house of his father, a lamb for a household......... ( see also 23:15; 34:18; Leviticus 16:29; 23:5; 23:6; Numbers 1:1; 3:28, 34 )
Numbers 3:28-34, " In number, all the males, from a month old and above, were eight thousand six hundred, guarding the duty of the set-apart place."
There are TONS oF References that I cannot place them all here... All through out the Five Books and the Rest of the Tenakh, as above in the references, the Word Chodesh (Renewal) is speaking of a Month... CHODESH DOESN'T MEAN NEW MOON(Yarah doesn't appear anywhere along with it), as the 1st Day of CHODESH, or the 10 day of CHODESH, or the 14th Day of CHODESH or a Child who is ONE CHODESH OLD, has nothing to do with a MOON!!! It has everything to do with the Month, which after so many days, Renews or begins again!!!!
Translating Chodesh into New Moon today is dishonest and is tied to a Religous philosophy Called Pharisaical Judaism who is reputed in history to sacking the Solar Calendar and instituting the Babylonian Calendar... This same dishonesty is used in other instance such as Translating the Word Yehudim to the Modern Word Jew, where the Words, Linguistics, Nation or People are not even historically connected!!!
Yet Months can RENEW themselves on a Lunar or Solar Calendar, but only one of them have complete Weeks in the Whole Year and therefore doesn't drift....
As you may have noticed that I placed ***** By some of the Text above. Why? because i would like to show that at different time periods, according to the Torah Testimony about the Apostatizing of the Israelites from Yahwahs Way and following the Ways of the Nations, Three Different Calendars were followed in their History:
During the Time of of the Settling in Cana'an up to the Time of the Kings, The Non-Enochic/ Non-Levitical Israelites followed a Cana'anite Lunar Calendar
From the Time of the Exodus to the Time of the Kings up until the Destruction of the Temple, the Zadokite(Non-Levitical and non-Enochic ) history of the Israelites have them following the Cana'anite and Lunar Calendar... (example: the god Abib, Bul and Ziw [strongs 2099: in syriac, arabic and chaldean the same month is called Iyar] and Ethanim) of the Cana'anite Calendar is mentioned as the month of the Hebrew Calendar...1Kings 6:1, 37, 38; 8:2 )...
Read Exodus 13:4; 23:15; 34:18; Duet 16:1,
13:4, “Today you are going out, in the month Aḇiḇ
23:15, "Guard the Festival of Unleavened Bread. Seven days you eat unleavened bread, as I commanded you, at the time appointed in the month of Aḇiḇ – for in it you came out of Mitsrayim – and do not appear before Me empty-handed;
1 Kings 6:38, "And in the eleventh year, in the month Bul, the eighth month, the house was completed in all its matters and according to all its plans. Thus he built it for seven years."
1Kings 6:1, 37, "And it came to be, in the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Yisra’ĕl had come out of the land of Mitsrayim, in the fourth year of the reign of Shelomoh over Yisra’ĕl, in the month of Ziw, which is the second month, that he began to build the House of יהוה.
1 Kings 8:2, "And all the men of Yisra’ĕl assembled to Sovereign Shelomoh at the festival in the month of Ěythanim, which is the seventh month.".
After the Return of Ezra and Nehemiah from Babylonian and Persian captivity, and the Establishment of a Zadokite Pharisaical System, The Babylonian Lunar Solar-Calender was used. example:
Nehemiah 2:1, "And it came to be in the month of Nisan, in the twentieth year of Artaḥshashta the sovereign, when wine was before him, that I took the wine and gave it to the sovereign. And I had never been sad in his presence. (See also Ester 3:7)
See Article on Babylonian Calendar (scienceworld.wolfram.com/astronomy/BabylonianCalendar.html)
Even until this Day, this Calendar is the Calendar used to determine the Israelite and Jewish Holydays... it is unbalanced, it doesn't have any perfected weeks to produced a REAL YEAR, and it wanders from year to year and has to be adjusted every three years with a 13th Month!!!
What is wrong with this picture and understanding of Israelite History? A Testament against Israelites who have strayed away from Yahwah
If Yahwah Commanded the Children of Yisrael not to be nor worship like the Nations around them, then why would he give the Israelites a Gentile Calendar of the Cana'anite and Babylonians? The Answer is he didn't. This is the Work of a faction of the Israelites themselves, as evidence in the Historical difference between Enochic Israelites(Led by the Levitical-Priesthood) and the Zadokite Israelites(Led by Cana'anite Priesthood starting with Zadok during the Reign of King Solomon and King David). This is What the book of Jubilees has to Say about following Such a Calendar...
Jubilees 1:13-14, And I will hide My face from them, and I will deliver them into the hand of the Gentiles for captivity, and for a prey, and for devouring, and I will remove them from the midst of the land, and I will scatter them amongst the Gentiles. And they will forget all My law and all My commandments and all My judgments, and will go astray as to new moons, and sabbaths, and festivals, and jubilees, and ordinances.
Jubilees 6:32-38, "And command thou the children of Israel that they observe the years according to this reckoning- three hundred and sixty-four days, and (these) will constitute a complete year, and they will not disturb its time from its days and from its feasts; for everything will fall out in them according to 33 their testimony, and they will not leave out any day nor disturb any feasts. But if they do neglect and do not observe them according to His commandment, then they will disturb all their seasons and the years will be dislodged from this (order), [and they will disturb the seasons and the years 34 will be dislodged] and they will neglect their ordinances. And all the children of Israel will forget and will not find the path of the years, and will forget the RENEWALS, and seasons, and sabbaths 35 and they will go wrong as to all the order of the years. For I know and from henceforth will I declare it unto thee, and it is not of my own devising; for the book (lies) written before me, and on the heavenly tablets the division of days is ordained, lest they forget the feasts of the covenant 36 and walk according to the feasts of the Gentiles after their error and after their ignorance. For there will be those who will assuredly make observations of the moon -how (it) disturbs the 37 seasons and comes in from year to year ten days too soon. For this reason the years will come upon them when they will disturb (the order), and make an abominable (day) the day of testimony, and an unclean day a feast day, and they will confound all the days, the holy with the unclean, and the unclean day with the holy; for they will go wrong as to the months and sabbaths and feasts and 38 jubilees. For this reason I command and testify to thee that thou mayst testify to them; for after thy death thy children will disturb (them), so that they will not make the year three hundred and sixty-four days only, and for this reason they will go wrong as to the RENEWALS and seasons and sabbaths and festivals, and they will eat all kinds of blood with all kinds of flesh."
According to the Book of Jubilees, the Children of Yisrael Changed the Calendar to that of the Cana'anite(Gentile) Calendar after Moses Died and subsequently recorded and attributed the Gentile Custom to the Great Leader Moshe!!!!
So we see CHODESH doesn't mean New Moon? IT Literally means NEW or RENEWAL. However as evidence show this concept is used by both Enochic Literature(Jubilees) and the Tenakh and depending on the Time period concerning the Calendar, depends on what it is referencing as in the Type of Month or Calendar being used.... As we saw, A faction of the Israelites are said to have followed the Cana'anite Calender after Moses died up until the Times of the Kings...Right?
But what calendar was followed before the Slavery? (During Slavery the Egyptians solar and lunar Calendars were obviously followed)....
A Solar Calendar was Followed!!!! The Enochian Scriptures (Book of Enoch and Jubilees and DEAD SEA SCROLLS etc...) prove that Israelites originally followed a Solar Calendar until Moshe Died. The Enochian Documents have been proven to be the Oldest Scriptures written of Hebrew History( Enochian Bible older than Mesoretic text by over a thousand years)... However Is there evidence of this Solar Calendar in the Tenakh? and if So, WHO FOLLOWED THAT CALENDAR?
Who observed the Solar Calendar in Times Past.. ?
All of our Hebrew and Israelite Ancestors seemed to observe the solar calendar. Not only does the Creation Narratives show forth a Solar Calendar, but the time references in the Story of Noah and the Flood uses a Solar calendar also. http://www.pesherofchrist.com/Calendar_of_Noah.html |
