Al comienzo de la primera version el PERRO ES EL PRIMERO EN TRASLADARSE EN EL TIEMPO EXACTAMENTE EL 26 DE OCTUBRE DE 1985, A LA 1:19 MINUTOS, UN NEXO CON EL 11 DE SEPTIEMBRE DEL 2001 E INCLUSO CON EL SALMO 119 (YO SOY EL ALFA Y EL OMEGA, EL PRINCIPIO Y EL FIN EN FUNCION A APOCALIPSIS 1:8 Y 22:12).
INCLUSO EN LA SEGUNDA VERSION, SE VE QUE EL NACIMIENTO DE MARTY (MICHAEL FOX) ES EL 6 DE AGOSTO DE 1968 (TRANSFIGURACION DE CRISTO) E INCLUSO QUE EL PADRE (GEORGE MCFLY, obviamente relacionado con la ISLA SAN GIORGIO EN VENECIA) muere el 15 de MARZO DE 1973, debido a UN ACCIDENTE QUE BROWN Y MARTY, LUEGO TIENEN QUE REPARAR AL VOLVER AL 12 DE NOVIEMBRE DE 1955. Hill Valley is located about 12 miles east of Grass Valley in Nevada County in Northern California. It is nestled in rolling foothills (as seen in part III). Hill Valley's climate is more or less a Mediterranean type. The temperature generally varies a lot during night and day. It could go up to as high as 90°F during day time in the summer and drop to as low as 50°F at night.
Real Hill Valley Location
Summer is dry and hot and winter is cold and wet. Snow also occurs from time to time and some lakes nearby will freeze over in the winter. There is also a desert within walking distance of the town.
Hill Valley was first settled around 1850 and it became a city in 1865. By 1885 railroads had reached many areas of Hill Valley and lots of people started moving in and settling down. Our famous courthouse began its construction in 1885. It later became a symbol of Hill Valley.
Hill Valley was in its prime in 1950's when American culture was blooming. Beautiful grassy lawn, several canons and a memorial plaque dedicated to World War I were all located right in front of the courthouse. Many stores and business were also located in the courthouse square, including Roy's Records, Ask Mr. Foster Travel Service, Essex Theater, Texaco gas station and many more. Lou's Cafe is a popular place for teenagers to hang out during the 50's.
By 1985 you could witness a decline in Hill Valley. Many shops in Courthouse Square were relocated to Twin Pines Mall and the Square was full of adult bookstore, XXX movie theater and second hand or pawn shops.
The Courthouse was served as department of social service. Hill Valley 1985 just wasn't as glorious as the 50's.
By 2015 the Courthouse is converted to a mall with beautiful grassy lawn and a lake located right in front it. Business has returned to the Square and finally the Courthouse Square regains its brilliance.
However our infamous resident, Biff Tannen stole the time machine in 2015 and went back to 1955 to give Grays Sports Almanac to his 1955 counterpart. The result was disastrous because Biff had become incredibly wealthy and powerful thus creating an "Alternate 1985." The Courthouse was converted to a Casino. The Square was full of adult stores and crazy bikers. Hill Valley was at its worst time in history.
History of Courthouse Square in Universal Studios Hollywood Courthouse Square is located in the Backlot of Universal Studios Hollywood. Prior to Back to the future the Courthouse Square was known as the Mockingbird Square (because of the movie, "To Kill a Mockingbird" ) before Back to the future made it famous. Numerous movies and productions were filmed here at this square since 1940s. Below is the list of productions that used Courthouse Square in the backlot:
Since 1932 Universal Studios Hollywood has had many fires that occurred in the Backlot. Courthouse Square had 3 major fires: 1990, 1997 & 2008.
On November 6th 1990 a fire was started by a security guard's cigarette lighter. It destroyed everything except the Courthouse itself and the buildings on its right side.
On September 6th 1997 another fire was set off by some chemicals due to improper storage and it destroyed the north side of Courthouse Square. Luckily the Courthouse was spared.
Lastly a devastating fire occurred on June 1st 2008 and it destroyed a huge section of Backlot. Except the northern side and the Courthouse (again it was spared), the fire destroyed everything including King Kong soundstage, New York Street, New England Street and video vault. The fire was started accidentally by blowtorch used by workers. Water pressure problem was also to blame for the quick fire spread. It took 400 fire fighters nearly 17 hours to put out the fire.
En la trilogía, Hill Valley se ve en cuatro diversos períodos (1885, 1955, 1985 y 2015) así como en una distópica realidad alternativa; por otro lado, en el videojuego de 2010Back to the Future: The Game también se presencian los períodos de 1876, 1931 y 1986, junto a varias realidades alternativas de este último. Además del diagrama principal, las películas contienen muchas escenas de la ciudad, insinuaciones verbales que dan a conocer acontecimientos vividos por la ciudad y elementos detallados del diseño de tal.
El nombre "Hill Valley" es en sí mismo una broma, creada a base de un oxímoron. El nombre es también similar a Mill Valley, una ciudad verdadera de California cercana a San Francisco.[1]
Aunque se desconoce su fecha de fundación, Hill Valley está marcada principalmente por la inauguración del reloj del edificio de los juzgados el 5 de septiembre de 1885. Un hecho que debería haber ocurrido fue la caída de la profesora del pueblo, Clara Clayton (Mary Steenburgen), por el barranco de Shonash el 4 de septiembre. Sin embargo, al estar Emmett Brown (Christopher Lloyd) y Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) en 1885 impiden este suceso, cambiando mínimamente el futuro, ya que el barranco en lugar de pasar a llamarse Clayton cambia el nombre al de Eastwood, teniendo en cuenta el incidente con la locomotora. Dado que se efectúa el viaje en el tiempo, no se tiene más información acerca de lo sucedido hasta 1955. Se sabe que la familia de Emmett Brown llegó a Hill Valley en el año 1908 con el apellido Von Braun, posteriormente en la Primera Guerra Mundial la familia se lo cambiará a Brown. De las raíces de las familias Tannen y McFly se sabe más bien poco, tan solo que llegaron a Hill Valley entre 1850 y 1880, y que el bisabuelo de Marty, nacido en 1885, fue el primer McFly nacido en América, por lo que su estancia en el pueblo debía de ser corta.[2]
La casa Gamble (ubicada en Pasadena, California) fue usada como el hogar de Emmett Brown en las escenas ambientadas en 1955.
Esta casa ubicada en Pacoima (California) fue usada como la residencia de Marty McFly y su familia.
En 1955, el siguiente hecho importante será una fuerte tormenta eléctrica que azotará la ciudad el 12 de noviembre de 1955, que desencadenará con la caída de un rayo en la torre de los juzgados de Hill Valley, destrozando la maquinaria del reloj, dejándolo parado en la hora que cayó el rayo, las 10:04 de la noche. Esto coincide con las elecciones a alcalde de la ciudad. Esto se sabe porque mientras Marty está en 1955, verá pasar un coche que patrocina la reelección del alcalde en esa época, Red Thomas. Con la ida al pasado de Marty, el rayo caído en la torre le servirá para que la máquina del tiempo DeLorean pueda volver a 1985.[3]
Tampoco se conservan hechos importantes ocurridos entre 1955 y 1985. El único podría ser la propuesta del alcalde Goldie Wilson para reparar el reloj de la torre, propuesta que la Sociedad Cultural de Hill Valley impedirá por ser un monumento histórico. Posteriormente, en el año 2015 se observa que la ciudad ha sido remodelada y modernizada. Goldie Wilson III, nieto del alcalde de la ciudad, ha proporcionado sistemas de aeroconversión para los coches, permitiendo a estos la capacidad de volar. También el edificio de los juzgados ha sido restaurado y reconvertido a centro comercial, y una vez más se intenta que el alcalde Wilson no repare el reloj, parado en el 2015 desde hacía sesenta años.[3][4]
En Back to the Future Part II, Marty compra un almanaque deportivo con los resultados desde 1950 hasta 2000. Doc le dará una reprimenda y le obligará a deshacerse del libro, ya que no puede poner en peligro el continuo espacio-tiempo. Desgraciadamente, un envejecido Biff Tannen (Thomas F. Wilson) escuchará la conversación, y en un descuido de Doc y Marty robará la máquina del tiempo y se dará el almanque a sí mismo en 1955.
Cuando Doc y Marty regresan a 1985 la historia ha cambiado por completo. Hill Valley está catalogada de "peor que el infierno" por Doc Brown. La ciudad vive sumida en el caos y en la pobreza, y sólo hay un único ciudadano destacado en la ciudad y en todo el país por su gran fortuna, Biff Tannen. El ejército y la policía están siempre en las calles, y toda la población de la ciudad es vagabunda.
La zona de Lyon States, barrio residencial donde vive Marty, es un desierto infrahumano donde todas las casas salvo una están a la venta.[5] El instituto de Hill Valley ya no existe, ya que fue incendiado en 1979. Todos los alrededores de Hill Valley son zona industrial, producto de las plantas de tratamiento de residuos llamadas Biffco, pertenecientes a Biff Tannen. Por si fuera poco, los juzgados de la ciudad fueron transformados en un lujoso casino-hotel de más de veinte pisos en el año 1979.
La familia de Marty ha sido destrozada. Su padre fue asesinado por Biff el 15 de marzo de 1973, y en el mismo año, Biff se ha casado con su madre. Su hermano Dave es un vagabundo, y su hermana Linda tiene graves problemas con los bancos. También Doc ha tenido un mal final, ya que ha sido encerrado en un psiquiátrico. Afortunadamente, Doc y Marty consiguen reparar la historia y todo vuelve a la normalidad.[4]
