Sagittarius (constellation)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Sagittarius is a constellation of the zodiac, the one containing the galactic center. Its name is Latin for the archer, and its symbol is (Unicode U+2650 ♐), a stylized arrow. Sagittarius is commonly represented as a centaur drawing a bow. It lies between Ophiuchus to the west and Capricornus to the east.
Visualizations
The constellation Sagittarius as it can be seen with the naked eye.
The constellation's brighter stars (from left to right on the map: τ, ζ, σ, φ, λ, ε, δ, and γ2 Sagittarii) form an easily recognizable asterism known as 'the Teapot'. The stars δ Sgr (Kaus Media), ε Sgr (Kaus Australis), ζ Sgr (Ascella), and φ Sgr form the body of the pot; λ Sgr (Kaus Borealis) is the point of the lid; γ2 Sgr (Alnasl) is the tip of the spout; and σ Sgr (Nunki) and τ Sgr the handle.[1][2]
The constellation as a whole is often depicted as having the rough appearance of a stick-figure archer drawing its bow, with the fainter stars providing its horse body.
Notable features
Stars
The Teapot asterism in Sagittarius.
α Sgr (Rukbat) is not the brightest star of the constellation, having a magnitude of only 3.96 (not shown on the main map as it is located below the map's southeastern corner, north is up).
With 22 stars in this constellation known to have planets, Sagittarius has more known planetary host stars than any other constellation.
Deep-sky objects

The Milky Way is at its densest near Sagittarius, as this is where the galactic center lies. Consequently, Sagittarius contains many star clusters and nebulae. One of the brightest of the star clusters is Messier 55, about 7.5° west of δ Sgr.
The constellation contains nebulae such as the Lagoon Nebula (Messier 8), near λ Sagittarii, the Omega Nebula (Messier 17), also known as the Swan or Horseshoe Nebula, near the border with Scutum; and the Trifid Nebula (Messier 20), a large nebula containing some very young, hot stars. The grouping of the Lagoon Nebula, the Trifid Nebula, and NGC 6559 is often called the Sagittarius triplet.
Messier 54 was the first globular cluster found that is outside the Milky Way. [3]
The Lagoon Nebula (M8) is an emission nebula discovered by Guillaume Le Gentil in 1747 that is located 5,000 light-years from Earth and measures 140 light-years by 60 light-years (1.5°). Though it appears grey in telescopes to the unaided eye, long-exposure photographs reveal its pink hue, common to emission nebulae. The central area of the Lagoon Nebula is also known as the Hourglass Nebula, so named for its distinctive shape. The Hourglass Nebula has its shape because of matter propelled by Herschel 36. The Lagoon Nebula also features three dark nebulae catalogued in Barnard's Catalog.[4]
The Trifid Nebula (M20) is an emission nebula in Sagittarius that lies less than two degrees from the Lagoon Nebula. Discovered by French comet-hunter Charles Messier, it is located between 2,000 and 9,000 light-years from Earth and has a diameter of approximately 50 light-years. The outside of the Trifid Nebula is a bluish reflection nebula; the interior is pink with two dark bands that divide it into three areas, sometimes called "lobes". Hydrogen in the nebula is ionized, creating its characteristic color, by a central triple star, which formed in the intersection of the two dark bands.[4]
In 1999 a violent outburst at V4641 Sgr was thought to have revealed the location of the closest known black hole to Earth,[5] but later investigation increased its estimated distance by a factor of 15.[6] The complex radio source Sagittarius A is also here. Astronomers believe that one of its components, known as Sagittarius A*, is associated with a supermassive black hole at the center of the galaxy. The Sagittarius Dwarf Elliptical Galaxy is located just outside the Milky Way.
Mythology
Sagittarius as depicted in Urania's Mirror, a set of constellation cards published in London c.1825.
The Babylonians identified Sagittarius as the god Nerigal or Nergal, a strange centaur-like creature firing an arrow from a bow.[7] It is generally depicted with wings, with two heads, one panther head and one human head, as well as a scorpion's stinger raised above its more conventional horse's tail. The Sumerian name Pabilsag is composed of two elements - Pabil, meaning 'elder paternal kinsman' and Sag, meaning 'chief, head'. The name may thus be translated as the 'Forefather' or 'Chief Ancestor'.[8] The figure is reminiscent of modern depictions of Sagittarius.
In Greek mythology, Sagittarius is identified as a centaur: half human, half horse. In some legends, the Centaur Chiron was the son of Philyra and Saturn, who was said to have changed himself into a horse to escape his jealous wife, Rhea. Chiron was eventually immortalised in the constellation of Centaurus or in some version, Sagittarius.[citation needed]
The arrow of this constellation points towards the star Antares, the "heart of the scorpion."
Astrology
As of 2002, the Sun appears in the constellation Sagittarius from December 18 to January 18. In tropical astrology, the Sun is considered to be in the sign Sagittarius from November 22 to December 21, and in sidereal astrology, from December 16 to January 14.

July 25th has witnessed a series of pivotal events that have shaped the course of history across various fields.
From groundbreaking achievements in aviation and medical science to significant political shifts and cultural moments, this day encapsulates a diverse array of historical milestones.
Join us as we explore some of the most notable occurrences on this date, delving into their impacts and legacies that continue to resonate today.
July 25th – On this Day in History
306 – Constantine I proclaimed Roman Emperor
On July 25, 306, Constantine the Great was declared Roman Emperor by his troops after the death of his father, Constantius Chlorus, in Eboracum (modern-day York, England).
This proclamation marked the beginning of Constantine’s reign, during which he would play a crucial role in shaping the future of the Roman Empire.

His subsequent policies and reforms, including the Edict of Milan in 313, which granted religious tolerance to Christians, had a lasting impact on both the empire and the Christian religion. Constantine’s rule laid the foundation for the Byzantine Empire and the spread of Christianity throughout Europe.
315 – Arch of Constantine inaugurated in Rome
The Arch of Constantine, one of Rome’s most famous monuments, was inaugurated on July 25, 315. Erected to commemorate Constantine I’s victory over Maxentius at the Battle of the Milvian Bridge in 312, the arch stands near the Colosseum.
It is a triumphal arch adorned with sculptures and reliefs that celebrate Constantine’s victory and his consolidation of power.
The arch not only served as a political symbol of Constantine’s authority but also showcased the artistic and architectural styles of the time, incorporating elements from earlier monuments to glorify the emperor’s achievements.
1261 – Constantinople recaptured by Nicaean forces, ending the Latin Empire
On July 25, 1261, forces from the Empire of Nicaea recaptured Constantinople, ending the Latin Empire established by the Fourth Crusade in 1204. This event marked the restoration of the Byzantine Empire under Emperor Michael VIII Palaiologos.

The recapture of the city was a significant turning point, as it restored Byzantine control over its historic capital. However, the empire never fully recovered its former power and prestige, struggling against internal strife and external threats until its eventual fall to the Ottoman Turks in 1453.
1593 – Henry IV of France converted from Protestantism to Catholicism
On July 25, 1593, Henry IV of France converted from Protestantism to Catholicism, famously stating, “Paris is well worth a mass.” This pragmatic decision was made to secure his position as king and bring peace to a country torn apart by religious wars.
His conversion helped to end the French Wars of Religion, a series of conflicts between Catholics and Huguenots (French Protestants), and paved the way for the Edict of Nantes in 1598, which granted religious tolerance to Protestants.
Henry IV’s reign brought stability and prosperity to France and earned him the nickname “Good King Henry.”
1759 – French defeated at the Battle of Ticonderoga in the Seven Years’ War
On July 25, 1759, during the Seven Years’ War, British forces under General Jeffrey Amherst captured the French stronghold of Fort Carillon (later renamed Fort Ticonderoga) in present-day New York. This victory was part of a larger campaign to gain control over the strategic waterways of North America.
The fall of Ticonderoga marked a turning point in the war in favor of the British, who sought to expand their colonial territories at the expense of the French. The victory opened the way for further British advances into Canada and played a significant role in shaping the future of North America.
1797 – Horatio Nelson lost more than 300 men and his right arm during the failed conquest of Tenerife
On July 25, 1797, British Admiral Horatio Nelson led an attack on Santa Cruz de Tenerife in the Canary Islands during the French Revolutionary Wars. The expedition aimed to capture the strategic port, but it ended in failure.
During the battle, Nelson sustained a severe wound, resulting in the amputation of his right arm. Despite this setback, he displayed remarkable resilience and continued his naval career, eventually becoming one of Britain’s greatest naval heroes. This event highlighted his determination and contributed to his legendary status.
1814 – War of 1812: Battle of Lundy’s Lane, one of the bloodiest battles of the war, takes place
The Battle of Lundy’s Lane, one of the bloodiest battles of the War of 1812, took place on July 25, 1814, near Niagara Falls. American and British forces clashed in a fierce and indecisive engagement that lasted well into the night.
Despite high casualties on both sides, neither could claim a decisive victory. The battle demonstrated the intensity of the conflict along the Canadian-American border and underscored the strategic stalemate that characterized much of the war. It also highlighted the valor and resilience of both American and British troops.
1837 – First commercial use of an electric telegraph
On July 25, 1837, the first commercial use of an electric telegraph took place, marking a significant advancement in communication technology.
Developed by William Fothergill Cooke and Charles Wheatstone in England, the telegraph revolutionized long-distance communication by transmitting messages through electrical signals over wires.
This innovation laid the groundwork for the global telecommunications industry, transforming how information was shared and playing a crucial role in commerce, journalism, and personal communication.
1861 – Congress passed the Crittenden-Johnson Resolution, stating the Civil War was fought to preserve the Union, not to end slavery
On July 25, 1861, the United States Congress passed the Crittenden-Johnson Resolution, asserting that the ongoing Civil War was being fought to preserve the Union, not to interfere with slavery. This resolution aimed to maintain the loyalty of the border states and reassure Northerners who were concerned about the war’s purpose.
However, as the war progressed, the focus shifted increasingly towards the abolition of slavery, especially after the issuance of the Emancipation Proclamation in 1863. The resolution reflects the complex and evolving motivations behind the Union’s war effort.
1866 – Ulysses S. Grant became the first General of the Army
On July 25, 1866, Ulysses S. Grant was appointed as the first General of the Army, a newly created rank in the United States military.
This appointment recognized Grant’s leadership and success as a Union general during the Civil War, particularly his role in key victories at battles such as Vicksburg and Appomattox.
As General of the Army, Grant oversaw the post-war military and played a significant role in Reconstruction efforts. His leadership and strategic acumen contributed to his later election as the 18th President of the United States.
1898 – United States invades Puerto Rico during the Spanish-American War
On July 25, 1898, during the Spanish-American War, American forces led by General Nelson A. Miles invaded Puerto Rico. This military action was part of a larger campaign against Spanish colonial rule in the Caribbean and the Pacific. The invasion was relatively swift, facing limited resistance from Spanish troops.
The conflict resulted in the Treaty of Paris, which ceded Puerto Rico, Guam, and the Philippines to the United States, significantly expanding American influence and marking a turning point in U.S. imperialism.
1909 – Louis Blériot makes the first flight across the English Channel in a heavier-than-air machine
On July 25, 1909, French aviator Louis Blériot made history by becoming the first person to fly across the English Channel in a heavier-than-air aircraft. He piloted his Blériot XI monoplane from Calais, France, to Dover, England, covering the distance in about 37 minutes.
This achievement demonstrated the potential of aviation and marked a significant milestone in the development of powered flight. Blériot’s successful crossing captured the public’s imagination and paved the way for future advancements in aviation technology and commercial air travel.
1917 – Mata Hari sentenced to death for espionage
On July 25, 1917, the renowned dancer and courtesan Mata Hari was sentenced to death by a French military court for espionage during World War I.
Accused of spying for Germany, she was portrayed as a dangerous femme fatale, although the evidence against her was largely circumstantial.
Her trial and execution highlighted the paranoia and fear of espionage that pervaded wartime Europe. Mata Hari’s story has since become legendary, symbolizing the intrigue and moral complexities of espionage during the war.
1943 – Benito Mussolini dismissed as Italian premier; arrested
On July 25, 1943, Italian dictator Benito Mussolini was dismissed from power by King Victor Emmanuel III and subsequently arrested.
This event marked a turning point in World War II, as Mussolini’s downfall signaled the collapse of the Fascist regime in Italy. It also led to Italy’s eventual surrender to the Allies.
The dismissal was influenced by military defeats and widespread dissatisfaction with Mussolini’s leadership. His arrest set the stage for a period of political turmoil in Italy and a shift in the balance of power in the war.
1956 – Suez Crisis: Egyptian President Nasser nationalized the Suez Canal
On July 25, 1956, Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser nationalized the Suez Canal, previously controlled by British and French interests. This bold move aimed to fund the construction of the Aswan High Dam and assert Egypt’s sovereignty.
The nationalization led to the Suez Crisis, where Britain, France, and Israel launched a military intervention to regain control of the canal. The crisis highlighted the waning influence of European colonial powers and the rising importance of Middle Eastern geopolitics during the Cold War. It also marked a significant moment in the decolonization movement.
1965 – Bob Dylan controversially used electric instruments at the Newport Folk Festival
On July 25, 1965, Bob Dylan performed with an electric band at the Newport Folk Festival, marking a significant shift in his musical style. This performance was controversial, as Dylan was primarily known for his acoustic folk music.
The audience’s reaction was mixed, with some embracing the new sound and others feeling betrayed. This moment is often seen as a pivotal point in rock music history, symbolizing the merging of folk and rock genres and highlighting Dylan’s evolving artistry.
1978 – Birth of Louise Brown, the first test-tube baby
On July 25, 1978, Louise Brown, the world’s first baby conceived through in vitro fertilization (IVF), was born in England. Her birth marked a groundbreaking achievement in reproductive technology, offering hope to millions of couples struggling with infertility.
The successful use of IVF opened new possibilities for assisted reproductive treatments and sparked discussions about the ethical and social implications of such technologies. Louise Brown’s birth is celebrated as a milestone in medical science.
1984 – Cosmonaut Svetlana Savitskaya became the first woman to perform a spacewalk
On July 25, 1984, Soviet cosmonaut Svetlana Savitskaya became the first woman to perform a spacewalk. During her mission aboard the Salyut 7 space station, she conducted an extravehicular activity (EVA) that lasted nearly four hours.
This achievement not only highlighted her skills and bravery but also underscored the contributions of women in space exploration. Savitskaya’s spacewalk was a significant step forward for gender equality in the field of astronautics.
1994 – Israel and Jordan sign the Washington Declaration, formally ending the state of war
On July 25, 1994, Israel and Jordan signed the Washington Declaration, officially ending the state of war between the two nations. This agreement was a crucial step towards peace in the Middle East, facilitated by the United States.
It laid the groundwork for the Israel-Jordan Peace Treaty later that year, fostering improved diplomatic and economic relations. The declaration represented a significant move towards regional stability and cooperation.
2000 – Air France Flight 4590 crashes on takeoff in Paris, killing 113
On July 25, 2000, Air France Flight 4590, a Concorde supersonic airliner, crashed shortly after takeoff from Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris. All 109 passengers and crew on board, along with four people on the ground, were killed.
The crash was caused by a strip of metal left on the runway by another aircraft, which led to a tire explosion and subsequent fuel tank rupture. This tragic event marked the beginning of the end for the Concorde program, highlighting safety concerns and contributing to the aircraft’s eventual retirement in 2003.

Solstice Hellgate Activation
By Goro
January 3, 2014 (orig. Dec 25, 2013)
The original version of the following article was posted on my Super Torch Ritual Underground (STRUG) blog site back on December 25, 2013. I just decided to post the piece as-is without making any adjustments (with few exceptions) and as such some links going to posts inside STRUG will not work for non-members and there are also some references that will not be familiar to those outside of STRUG. Nevertheless overall it shouldn't be much of a problem for readers here.
Contact... with the Devil?
In the buildup to the highly-charged temporal window, all indications were that Winter Solstice 2013 would produce major events... something "deep impact" and/or something deeply meaningful in the multicontextual reality matrix that would go perfectly with the various interconnected patterns we've been following. Already, a cluster of heavily intertwined world events with significant multicontextual implications have caught our attention...
But the "big one", which I was saving for this post, was Winter Storm "Gemini". Making big headlines right around December 21-22...
I had specifically stated that Orange/Golden Apple Alignments (pinpointing ~Dec 21) tend to coincide with "earth changes" type events...
...and that's what we got here as well, except this wasn't a super major, deadly quake or a hurricane/typhoon as you might have expected but a little more understated variety in the form of a powerful winter storm. What it lacked in physical impact, however, it made up for in scale and precision.Shown on a map (see below), Winter Storm Gemini was a visually striking straight line, moving up diagonally from the Gulf of Mexico to the US Northeast...

It was observant reader Mithras who first brought it to my attention, that this storm line was perfectly tracing a certain esoteric "ley line" connecting many major cities along the US East Coast known in the past, apparently at least according to one source, as "Satan's Axis". (I have talked about it many years ago.) Thus, a clear and unsettling continuation/escalation of our "devil" motif/communication [that had been discussed on STRUG].
From The Labyrinth of the Grail by William F. Mann (pp.74-75):
If the inner secrets of Masonry do not lie in Hell where do they lie? Of course, they lie in Heaven. But Heaven needs Hell. Thus, through Craft Masonry the initiate learns that the original columns of the temple were hollow and each supported a globe, one representing a map of the world and the other a map of the heavens. In many ways the "mappamundi" produced in the fourteenth to sixteenth centuries reflects this notion where one ring or circle illustrates what was known of the eastern world at that time and the western circle represents the New World - L'Arcadia. Could mappamundi refer to a world created by the Cathar god of evil - Rex Mundi, "King of the World?"
If true, then it goes a long way to explain why the lands of the New World purportedly fell along what was considered in the sixteenth century to be SATAN'S AXIS, that line beyond what was known of the world at the time. Satan's Axis not only runs lengthwise through Nova Scotia but also extends through Boston, New York, Philadelphia, and along the Allegheny Mountains - all renowned areas of early occult and witchcraft practice.
Beyond coincidence is the fact that the largest manganese and coal deposits within Nova Scotia lie along this so-called Satan's Axis. And there is the evidence presented by Barry Fell in America B.C. that the majority of pre-Columbian relics and remnants found in North America also relate to this axis.
It's also been my observation that if Satan's Axis is extended beyond the New World towards Europe, it pinpoints... Paris. Making the great-circle axis not only "Trojan" but also Sirian. (Remember, Paris is semi-officially an Isis-Sirius city.) Symbolically perfect in this way, as the ISS (Isis) was making big headlines simultaneously on the solstice/Dec 21...
And this was just a couple of days after another very Sirian signal event, the Apollo Theatre ceiling collapse, where the play "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time" was being performed.
Dec 19, 2013 The Apollo Theater Code
At the time of the roof collapse at ~20:15 GMT in London, Sirius - aka the "Dog Star" - was rising right at the horizon!
Not only that, to reflect the play which revolves around a dog pierced by a garden fork, directly below London (nadir) at the time of the roof collapse was Centaurus piercing Lupus...
Now this nadir-based configuration is something that reminds us of this year's Super Bowl Galactic Center/Dark Rift alignment that was being formed at the time of the blackout incident following the Beyonce/Destiny's Child halftime show...

And Satan's Axis (= Winter Storm Gemini) is aligned with the New Orleans area (Super Bowl 2013), particularly the landfall point of Hurricane Katrina (2005), which was not only a storm but also a Galactic Mayan Storm, as it was pinpointing the halfway point between the Mayan calendar "end" date (12/21/2012) and the actual date of the "Galactic Alignment" (May 1998) popularly (but erroneously) associated with the Mayan "end" date.
This is rather chilling...
In the satellite map you can clearly see Winter Storm Gemini "emerging" from New Orleans/Katrina landfall!
It is certainly very fitting that the city New Orleans has its "voodoo" tradition, resonating with our "devil" motif. The Super Bowl certainly had a devil theme going as well, if you recall...

Two faces => god Janus => "Janus" = name of main antagonist in Angels & Demons (book version)
All these remarkable coincidences find another strong pattern confirmation in the fact that the Super Bowl halftime entertainer Beyonce just released her new album, digitally (iTunes) on December 13 and physically on... December 20 the day before solstice. It created a big buzz because her self-titled "visual" album Beyonce came out of nowhere and took people by surprise as it had been kept very secret, going by the code name "Lily" as in fleur-de-lis, a popular symbol of New Orleans. At this point we can start putting the two and two together... The Galactic Center/Dark Rift and the devil/Satan... evoking the Mayan Underworld. Because the Milky Way's "Dark Rift" - a long black streak running through a segment of the celestial river overlapping the Galactic Center - was considered by the Mayans to be a road to Xibalba, their (heavenly) Underworld or Hell. ("Xibalba" means "Place of fear".) That's the domain of the devil/Satan of course.
Interestingly in Mayan tradition their Underworld had 9 levels. This is particularly meaningful in the context of Thor: The Dark World released just last month (Nov 2013) right at the time of the "Phoenix Storm" Hiayan/Yolanda. That was another big storm (if not the biggest ever). In addition to "The Dark World" evoking the Dark Rift Underworld, the movie's plot is centered around the idea of an alignment of the "Nine Realms" formerly connected by the "Rainbow Bridge".
In present-day Asgard, Loki stands imprisoned for his war crimes on Earth. Meanwhile, Thor, alongside warriors Fandral, Volstagg and Sif, repels marauders on Vanaheim, home of their comrade Hogun; it is the final battle in a war to pacify the Nine Realms following the reconstruction of Bifröst, the "Rainbow Bridge" between realms, which had been destroyed two years earlier. The Asgardians soon learn that the Convergence, a rare alignment of the Nine Realms, is imminent; as the event approaches, portals linking the worlds appear at random.
And Thor is not only the god of storms, but also the Norse version of Jupiter/Zeus. Where was the planet Jupiter during all this? In the constellation Gemini... the namesake of Winter Storm Gemini.

So as you can see, 2013 December solstice/Orange Alignment was a special time window, giving rise to events quite appropriate for the "end" of the Mayan calendar exactly one year prior (12/21/2012)... a galactic rebirth from the Dark Rift Underworld, i.e. a phoenix event. And this phoenix may well be largely equated with the "devil/Satan"... and now even with the Mayan resurrection deity Quetzalcoatl, a "feathered serpent", whom many speculated might return in 2012 at the end of the Long Count calendar. It's almost as if that's what's happening a year later in 2013-2014. Or at least the interdimensional whisper communications from the "devil" - or Enki - have been heavily relying on that storyline as a "carrier signal", transmitting a stream of inter-temporal insights and knowledge or "prophecies".

The simple fact is that us humans here on earth and in this realm we call reality we are limited beings, thus unnatural, like a dam holding back the water of a river. We are in this thing called time and yet can only see the past; the future is so much murkier, and from this condition arises everything that is earthly experience most of which not pleasant. When something is limited, it inevitably creates pressure, a force that seeks a more natural state, greater freedom and more universal truth. And thus come into existence the "whispers" or information leaks through the interdimensional "wall", from the other side, which we might call the Underworld, to our limited realm populated by temporally half-blind beings. Angels and Demons are at the dimensional portal, managing the flow of "forbidden knowledge". As the temporal and dimensional barrier collapses further as we move deeper into the 21st century, which is by design per the Time Rivers scheme, more and more responsibility will be put on us to handle the incoming "flood" of information ourselves. This is a critical moment in the evolution and for the survival of our species. The flood is coming, and it's either we take steps to deal with it and go on to the next level of existence like Noah and see the rainbow, or we falter and drown, going the way of Atlantis.Essentially that's what's happening and what's being communicated. The question is, are we listening? Here on STRUG, I'd like to think we are.To be continued... (In the cycle of time, it never ends.)

New Year's Prophecy - Part 2
Game of Thrones at the End of Time
By Goro Adachi January 3, 2017

A big shift is coming, it seems. Our pattern projection was quickly followed by a pattern fulfillment, spawning glimpses of the future in the process as anticipated by " New Year's Prophecy". What's coming, as far as we can tell, is a dramatic tectonic shift in time...
This New Year's Eve/Day Impact in the form of an Istanbul nightclub terror attack by ISIS came with all the hallmarks identified in New Year's Prophecy (Part 1, posted Dec 30), i.e. Sirius, Rio time code, etc... with ominous implications for the new year:

- Sirius = New Year's star (culmination at ~midnight/start of Jan 1)
- Istanbul nightclub terror attack on New Year's Eve/Day (1 hr 15 min after midnight local time)
- Sirius = Isis (per ancient Egyptian tradition)
- Istanbul nightclub attack by ISIS
- Isis = "Queen of Heaven" (per tradition)
- Istanbul nightclub named "Reina" meaning "Queen"
- Rio = "New year's city" via ~Jan 1 solar alignment (lat/dec); same alignment also on ~Dec 10 (plus temporal context of 2016 = year of Rio Olympics)
- Jan 1, 2017: Istanbul terror attack (nightclub)
- Dec 10, 2016: Istanbul terror attack (soccer stadium)
It is the geographical focus on Istanbul in particular that exhibits the strongest qualities of being the New Year's crystal ball. This has to do with the papal/Church/Christianity theme highlighted in Part 1... Istanbul used to be called Constantinople after Constantine the Great (AD 272-337) who founded the capital city of the Roman Empire. Constantine played a pivotal role in making Christianity the powerful, dominant religion that it is today. " Constantinian Shift", as it is sometimes called, ensured not only the survival but also the dominance of Christianity over pagan religions including ancient Egyptian cults.
By becoming the first Christian Roman emperor, Constantine initiated the marriage between the Roman Empire and Christianity, in effect creating a "Christian Empire". In 313 he and Licinius decriminalized Christianity with the Edict of Milan; in 325 he convened the first Council of Nicaea to establish the first uniform Christian doctrine/orthodoxy ("Nicene Creed"), officially declaring what Christianity is/should be; in 380 under Roman Emperor Theodosius I Christianity officially became the state religion of the Roman Empire; in 391, Theodosius I issued a decree outlawing ancient cults; in the early 400s the ancient Egyptian temple on the Philae island was the last to be converted into a church. Christianity engulfed the ancient Egyptian magical "religion". Isis was one of the most prominent deities in the ancient Egyptian "religion", making it highly meaningful that we saw Istanbul/ Constantinople juxtaposed with ISIS in the New Year's terror attack. Add to it our Rio de Janeiro " Janus" context, i.e. the god of the beginning and ending, we definitely get this theme of the end of the Egyptian religion and the beginning of the Roman Christianity, geographically and historically interfacing at Istanbul/Constantinople. Also pertinent to this is the back-to-back, daughter-mother double death event/signal that we were sad to see right after Christmas (the biggest Christian holiday)...
Carrie Fisher's last name has a very Christian connotation:
The phrase "fishers of men," also at Mark 1:17, is one of the most well known lines in the entire New Testament, and the most important metaphor for evangelism. The image probably had an important role in the adoption of the Ichthys as a symbol of early Christianity. The reference has also often been moved from the disciples to Jesus, with him being called the "fisher of men," and the image of Jesus as a fisherman is second only to that of Jesus as a shepherd.
Fisher was also Princess Leia in Star Wars which makes her mother Debbie Reynolds analogous to a " queen", ominously resonating with the nightclub Reina - meaning " Queen" - attacked in Istanbul attacked on New Year's Day. On Christmas Day itself was another major death of an icon - George Michael. One of his well known songs was Last Christmas...
...and his most successful album - winning the Grammy Awards for Album of the Year in 1989 - was called Faith (1987). So we continue to see this combination of Christianity and " ending" ("last") together, evoking the 2012 poster ( Rio Jesus statue) we highlighted previously.
Put it all together, the overall message could potentially be (though not exclusively so) something to the effect of " the end of the Age of the Church/Christianity/Roman Empire or Age of Pisces", and perhaps concurrently the resurrection of the ancient Egyptian/Gnostic/Hermetic tradition/philosophy which was forced to go underground by the combined forces of the Church and the Roman Empire. Remember, the key idea behind "New Year's Prophecy" was that we would have a significant event(s) around New Year's Eve/Day, likely related to Sirius, the papacy, as well as the Russia-US cyberwar situation. That it would be a major foreshadowing of what's to come in 2017 and potentially beyond. We are now indeed getting glimpses of the potential future assuming we are on the right track, which we should be based on the accuracy level of our projection so far. Even the Russian cyberwar pattern manifested vividly on New Year's Eve in the form of big news headlines claiming Russian cyber hacking of Vermont's electric utility:
It's tempting to try to combine the potentially prophetic themes we have going...
- Papacy/Church (ending?)
- Queen ISIS
- Russia-US relations, cyber warfare
For example, we can imagine a scenario in which ISIS assassinates the Pope, or one that has Queen Elizabeth II dying or stepping down like Pope Benedict XVI did back in 2013. As for Russia, the new Cold War-like situation may be something unfolding in the "background" throughout the near. But the most intriguing and central in the whole pattern is the "end of the papacy/Church/Christianity" storyline. Ominously it goes well with curiously accurate St. Malachy's papal prophecy...
The Prophecy of the Popes is a series of 112 short, cryptic phrases in Latin which purport to predict the Roman Catholic popes (along with a few antipopes), beginning with Pope Celestine II. The alleged prophecies were first published by Benedictine monk Arnold Wion in 1595. Wion attributes the prophecies to Saint Malachy, a 12th-century Archbishop of Armagh, Ireland.
According to the prophecy, Pope Francis would correspond to the final pope on the list called " Peter the Roman". (This correspondence is not certain as there is some ambiguity at the end of the pope list, but Francis would definitely be one the final popes.)
Pope Benedict XVI was #111 on the list with the motto "Glory of the Olive". It is then followed by a set of sentences - not just a short motto, but two paragraphs - describing the next/final pope or the next two (or more) final popes...
In persecutione extrema S.R.E. sedebit.
Petrus Romanus, qui pascet oves in multis tribulationibus, quibus transactis civitas septicollis diruetur, & judex tremedus judicabit populum suum. Finis.
In the extreme persecution of the Holy Roman Church, there will sit.
Peter the Roman, who will pasture his sheep in many tribulations, and when these things are finished, the city of seven hills [i.e. Rome] will be destroyed, and the terrible judge will judge his people. The End.
They clearly describe the end of the Roman Catholic Church, the end of Rome. And it sounds as if this great destruction would come after the reign of "Peter the Roman". That would mean after Pope Francis. If we are in fact getting a multicontextual foreshadowing of 2017 signaling a situation very similar to St. Malachy's "Peter the Roman" prophecy, that would imply the exit of Pope Francis within a year or so, followed by the Fall of the Church and with it the Age of Pisces (Fish). Of course, the big question is, is Pope Francis really Peter the Roman? No way to be sure obviously. But there are intriguing hints. Remember the "sign in the sky" at the time of Pope Benedict's resignation (2013) which also produced a geo-alignment pinpointing Rio (discussed in Part 1)?
Feb 11, 2013: Pope Benedict XVI announces resignation Feb 15, 2013: Major meteor impact in Chelyabinsk, Russia
Note that " Peter" means " rock". Meteors are "rocks fallen from heaven". So the mid-February 2013 double impact event in effect telegraphed "(space) rock Rome" or " Peter the Roman"! And out of this "Peter the Roman" event came Pope Francis, introduced to the world on March 13, 2013.
As discussed in Part 1 the very first foreign land he officially visited as the pope was... Rio de Janeiro.
It gets even more interesting. Pope Francis's arrival in Rio on January 22, 2013 precisely coincided with the birth of Prince William and Kate's royal baby Prince George. who is Queen Elizabeth II's great grand child.
Remember, the New Year's terror attack in Istanbul/ Constantinople - the "birthplace" of the Roman Catholic Church - involved a nightclub called " Queen" ( Reina). A fascinating Pope-Queen entanglement. Or... a " father-mother" entanglement. After the exit of Queen Elizabeth II, the line of succession will be:
- Prince Charles
- Prince William
- Prince George (William's baby)
It just so happens that Pope Francis's real name is also "George". (Full name: Jorge Mario Bergoglio.) And George Michael just died on Christmas, the biggest Christian holiday mere days before New Year's Day.
Perhaps there is something special about Prince George? I talked extensively about the "Grail bloodline" symbolism surrounding the British royal family, particularly on the Diana side and Prince William, in my 2011 article "Lucifer's Destiny".
Perhaps this year (2017) the Pope and/or the Queen will die/exit which will trigger a chain reaction that leads to:
- the FALL of the Roman Catholic Church
- the RISE of the "Holy Grail" via British Royal Family after QE2
This duality would make a lot of multicontextual sense since the Holy Grail tradition has a lot - if not is all about - the Gnostic/Hermetic/Egyptian underground stream, the "religion" or philosophy (as well as bloodlines in some capacity) embodied in the figure of Isis, suppressed by the Roman Christianity which came into power via Constantin the Great. I'm not saying the bloodline of Princess Diana (Prince William, Prince George, etc.) has to be literally of the Holy Grail a la "The Da Vince Code", but even just a symbolic rise of "King Arthur" in this manner would be... well, symbolic of "Isis rising".
Isis is Sirius, and Sirius is "The Star", which is tarot card #17 as in 2017.
Perhaps it's no coincidence that the origin of the tarot could be traced back to underground stream tradition. We noted in Part 1 the cover of The Economist predicting 2017 world events displays the tarot, and the biggest political/geopolitical event coming in 2017 is a figure named "Trump" as in trump/tarot cards.
Plus, let's not forget that the musician Prince died on Queen Elizabeth II's birthday (April 21) last year.
It connects back to Rio as the Olympics there started on the day of a Regulus-Venus conjunction. Regulus, the heart of lion (Leo), is traditionally known as "prince" (or "little king").
The Rio Olympics ended on August 21 when Regulus was in conjunction with the Sun...
...coinciding with a deadly earthquake in central Italy near Rome where the Pope resides.
Aug 23/24, 2016 Deadly earthquake rattles central Italy Aug 25 Italy quake death toll passes 240
These things are heavily interconnected. When there is this level of inter-contextual coherence, that's when you know there is a big hurricane forming and at some point it will strike. And when it does, it helps if we are prepared and mentally ready. (In some cases, we may even be able to prevent it.) Going multicontextual, as done in this New Year's Prophecy series, can be very valuable in this sense, helping us acquire a perspective unstuck in linear time. The torch is being passed from the Old World to the New World, a new age to rise out of the ashes of the old age like the phoenix. Mars is coming. An ending is always a new beginning, always together, like New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. Now face-to-face with this "Janus moment" in history, we can't help but be reminded of the old Chinese curse: "May you live in interesting times"...
[P.S. There's much more going on right now than the issues discussed in this article. For example, I didn't even touch on the earth changes stuff that will... Well, like I said we're at a tipping point, the point of no return. Already being discussed on STRUG, if you're interested.]
