 Estación de la Línea 1
Franklin D. Roosevelt es una estación de las líneas 1 y 9 del metro de París, situada en el VIII Distrito de la capital. La estación se encuentra en los alrededores de la Glorieta de los Campos Elíseos (Rond Point des Champs Elysées). En 2004 superaba los 12 millones de viajeros anuales.1
Inicialmente existían dos estaciones distintas : Marbeuf, la estación de la línea 1 inaugurada en 1900 y Rond Point des Champs Elysées, la estación de la línea 9, puesta en marcha en 1923. Esto explica porque dos de los accesos de la estación requieren pasar por los andenes de la línea 1 para llegar a la línea 9.
El 6 de octubre de 1942 se puso en servicio un pasillo de enlace entre ambas estaciones, de forma que el nombre de ambas se cambió por Marbeuf - Rond Point des Champs-Élysées.
Al acabar la Segunda Guerra Mundial la estación pasó a llamarse Franklin D. Roosevelt debido a que la cercana avenida Victor-Emmanuel III había sido renombrada como avenida Franklin D. Roosevelt. Se sustituía así el nombre de un jefe de Estado de un país enemigo durante el conflicto, Italia, por el de un jefe de Estado de un país aliado de Francia como había sido Estados Unidos.
Estación de la línea 1

Se compone de dos andenes laterales de 90 metros de longitud, situados bajo la avenida de los Campos Elíseos a la altura del cruce con la calle Marbeuf, y de dos vías.
Durante mucho tiempo, más de 60 años, la estación lució uno de los diseños más característicos de la red basándose en un estilo que estuvo en voga en la década de los 50 y de los 60. La idea de base consistía en revestir las estaciones con diversos materiales para alejarse así del sobrio diseño clásico. En Franklin D. Roosevelt el estilo fue llevado aún más allá usando una técnica de manipulación del vidrio llamada gemmail dando lugar a auténticas vidrieras modernas. Tonos verdes y anaranjados, bancos empotrados y señalización en relieve eran otras de las características de la estación.
En 2010, y dentro del plano de renovación del metro parisino puesto en marcha por la RATP en los años 2000, el revestimiento ha sido suprimido. Se prevé que sea sustituido por el funcional pero más anodino azulejo blanco biselado. La reforma ha supuesto también la instalación de puertas de andén como sucede en todas las estaciones de la línea 1.

Se compone de dos andenes laterales de 75 metros de longitud, situados bajo la Avenida Montaigne a la salida de la Glorieta de los Campos Elíseos, y de dos vías.
Fue la primera estación de la red, en 1952, en ser renovada según el estilo carrossage. En él se empleaba diversos materiales para revestir los clásicos azulejos blancos del metro parisino.
Durante mucho tiempo su publicidad se limitó a curiosas vitrinas publicitarias, donde la publicidad no aparecía en paneles diseñados a tal efecto sino que se usaban pequeñas vitrinas donde se mostraba el producto que se pretendía publicitar indicando donde podía ser adquirido.
El amarillo, presente en los muchos asientos de tipo Motte y en los marcos de las vitrinas, es el tono predominante en la estación.
Como en la estación de la línea 1, la señalización aparece en relieve usando en este caso un color dorado.
La estación dispone de siete accesos, la mayoría de ellos situados en la avenida de los Campos Elíseos.

Biden makes the case to fight extremists by invoking war waged on D-Day

POINTE DU HOC, France — Invoking the soldiers who braved Nazi fire on D-Day, President Joe Biden called upon Americans to put country first and not cast aside the democratic traditions that an earlier generation died to protect.
Biden spoke one day after the 80th anniversary of D-Day, standing atop the sheer 100-foot cliff that Army Rangers scaled to destroy artillery and push back German forces that had overrun Europe in the Second World War.
He drew a parallel between the sacrifices made to defeat Hitler’s forces and the struggle to overcome what he called the “hateful ideologies today,” an apparent reference to extremist movements at home and abroad.
Soldiers who strung rope ladders to climb the cliff in the face of enemy machine guns would have wanted Americans to show the selflessness needed today to preserve democratic freedoms, he said.
“American democracy asks the hardest of things: to believe that we’re part of something bigger than ourselves,” Biden said, standing atop a German bunker used to fire at troops who'd landed on Omaha Beach. “Democracy begins with each of us. It begins when one person decides there’s something more important than themselves. When they decide that their country matters more than they do. That’s what the Rangers at Pointe du Hoc decided.”
Despite Hitler’s defeat and America’s victory in the Cold War that followed, the battle for a free and independent Europe persists, Biden said. He pointed to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s invasion of neighboring Ukraine, a democratic state and Western ally.
“Does anyone doubt that they [the soldiers who captured Pointe du Hoc] would want America to stand against Putin’s aggression here in Europe today?” he said, looking out at an audience that included Pfc John Wardell of New Jersey, a 99-year-old veteran who landed in France after D-Day in June 1944.

Earlier in the day, Biden met with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Paris. He announced a new $225 million aid package to Ukraine that includes air defense interceptors, artillery ammunition and other capabilities. He also issued an unusual apology to Zelenskyy over a months-long delay in aid deliveries stemming from partisan disagreement in Congress.
“You haven’t bowed down,” Biden told Zelenskyy. “You haven’t yielded at all. You continue to fight in way that’s just remarkable. And we’re not going to walk away from you.”
Describing the stakes in the same terms as Biden, Zelenskyy said: “Like it was during World War II, how the United States helped to save human lives, to save Europe — and we count on your continuing support and standing with us shoulder to shoulder," he said.
The two are scheduled to meet again next week in southern Italy during a summit meeting of the Group of 7 (G7), a collection of the wealthy democracies.
Though Biden framed his speech in Pointe du Hoc as a broad struggle between authoritarianism and democracy, freedom and repression, the campaign subtext was hard to miss.
Biden and his rival, Donald Trump, symbolize different strains in American foreign policy. Biden is an internationalist who believes that aligning with like-minded nations makes the U.S. more prosperous and formidable.
Trump’s “America First” approach is heir to an isolationist movement that has persisted through the decades. If Trump wins, former aides worry he might pull out of a NATO alliance that safeguards Europe from Russian aggression.
“They stormed the beaches alongside their allies,” Biden said of D-Day troops. “Does anyone believe these Rangers would want America to go it alone today?”
Polling shows that Biden’s age is one of the main obstacles to his reelection. Happily for him, he’s spent the past two days in the company of 90- and 100-somethings who make him look fresh-faced, by comparison.
Before giving a speech at Omaha Beach on Thursday, the 81-year-old president met with a group of veterans who were wheeled into see him by active service members.
“Don’t get old,” one advised Biden.
Another veteran in an Army jacket shook hands with Biden. When the man sat back down in his wheelchair, the president said, “Good move, man.”
Biden is set to hold meetings in Paris on Saturday with his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron. He’ll also take part in a parade procession to the Elysee Palace and, later, will attend a state dinner on his behalf.
There are signs that his son Hunter Biden's legal troubles have been a distraction. First Lady Jill Biden joined her husband for the D-Day speech on Thursday but later flew home to attend the criminal trial in Wilmington, Del. She was expected to rejoin Biden in Paris on Saturday for the state dinner.
Headlines about his son’s fate intrude on the president’s trip from time to time. Just as Biden began his speech at Pointe du Hoc, there was a fresh one: The prosecution in Hunter’s trial had rested its case.

First, NYC/Long Island can be associated with 'knowledge' through the symbolisms of 'apple' ("Big Apple"), 'rose' (state flower), 'fire' (Statue of Liberty, its connection to Paris/'torch'), etc. and as we've seen in foregoing sections it's part of the 'ark' complex via VI-97. Furthermore from the 'apple' connection follows the notion of the 'serpent'. Now, all those 'knowledge'/Sirius connections of NYC can be transferred to Mars because, as illustrated in 'Babylon Matrix', NYC is also related to Mars, especially the Cydonia region with all the potentially artificial structures. Mars being red and circular is associatable with the 'apple', the red and round 'Big Apple' (NYC). Now, some might argue that the fruit Eve ate was not necessarily an 'apple', but we generally thought of it as an apple today and that has to count in symbolism. But there is a much more precise connection - the latitudes of NYC and Cydonia are exactly the same, 40.5~41N.
The events closely associated earlier with X-72 and more or less with the ark, the two random shootings in a library and school ('Resonance' #7 and 8), appear to back up the Mars-Sirius connection also. Those two similar events, only five days apart, occurred one on the Cydonian latitude and the other on the Sirius 'angle' latitude. The Mormon library shooting took place at ~40.5N, and the Colorado school shooting at ~39.5N. The name 'Salt Lake City', where the library shooting occurred, may be relevant also since mythologically the 'salt water' is of female - and Sirius is filled with female associations ('goddess', 'star of Women', etc.).
Moreover, Temple mentions in his book that "when making rhetorical allusion to the Dog Days, the Latins would often speak of Sirius being red at the time..." Now, this is quite significant for not only is Sirius described as 'red' like Mars, but the "Dog Days" would refer to a period in or around July - the exact time-frame indicated by Quatrain X-72.
The Sirius-correlated Argo also turns out to be very relevant here. Because the main mission of Jason, the leader of the Argonauts who has been identified as the "appeasing King"/"King of terror" of X-72 earlier, was to obtain the 'golden fleece', and in Temple's words, "Aries was definitely identified with the golden fleece". In case you don't know, Aries is the Greek Mars. Aries is also a sign of the zodiac, "ruled" by Mars, and it is classified as a 'fire sign' - correlating with the fire-knowledge symbolism. I should also point out that Mars is called 'fire star' in Japanese.
Moreover, Sirius/Isis' son Horus provides intriguing correlations. First, the Great Sphinx associated earlier with 'ark' was called by Egyptians "Horus of Horizon" which also happens to be a name given to Mars. And the word 'Cairo', where the Sphinx is (actually slightly west of Cairo), is derived from 'Mars'. Mars was also called 'Horus the Red'. And the word 'Heru' (Egyptian name for Horus) also has the meaning of 'face' - seemingly a reference to the infamous 'Face on Mars' at Cydonia! (So, as you can see, the Mars-Horus connection is quite obvious.) Next, Sirius/ark comes into the web of associations, as the Argo also relates to Horus (thus to Mars too) as the Greek derivation of Horus, 'Circe', plays a prominent role in the story of Argo. Also, as Temple hypothesizes, the names of the original captain of Argo, Herakles, and his protectress Hera may be derived from 'Heru' - the Egyptian name for Horus. Furthermore, we're told that Herakles/Hera is related to the word 'Seirios' from which we have the word 'Sirius' - strengthening the Mars-ark-Sirius connection. But as if it wasn't enough, Temple goes on to point out that 'Seirios' also has the meaning of 'fiery/scorching', that can easily be a reference to Mars.
And finally, Mars and Sirius are linked by the 'tetrahedral angle' of 19.5 degrees. '19.5 degrees' is one of the most significant notions derived from the supposed artificial structures of Cydonia that suggests their artificiality, according to investigators like Richard Hoagland ('The Monuments of Mars'). It is viewed as a definite 'signal in the noise' - some kind of a 'message' left there by some intelligence. This number, '19.5', is called t, the 'tetrahedral constant', because of  its significance in tetrahedral geometry (a tetrahedron is a pyramid shape composed of four equilateral triangular sides): the apexes of a tetrahedron when placed within a circumscribing sphere, one of the tetrahedron's apexes touching the south (or north) pole, the other three apexes touch the surface of the sphere at 19.5 degrees north latitude. So it is interesting that the Egyptian symbol for Sirius is a triangle which can be viewed as a 2-dimensional representation of a tetrahedron.

Pope Francis delivered a speech too progressive for Obama to give

If President Barack Obama had delivered the text of Pope Francis’s speech to Congress Thursday as a State of the Union address, he would have risked being denounced by Republicans as a socialist.
While most Republicans chose not to complain, and Democrats tried not to gloat, Francis’s speech to Congress was stunning in the breadth, depth, and conviction of its progressivism. That might not have been fully and immediately appreciated by everyone in the House chamber because the combination of Francis’s sotto voce delivery and his heavily accented English made it difficult, lawmakers said, to grasp everything he was saying.
But there was no mistaking his thrust. He made detailed arguments for openness to immigrants, addressing the human roots of climate change, closing the gap between the rich and the poor, and ending the death penalty — all of which invigorated the Democrats in the room.
“It was pretty progressive. He had a little right-to-life stuff in it,” Rep. James Clyburn, the third-ranking House Democrat, said as he cracked a smile thinking about how Republicans would receive the speech. “That’s enough for them.”
The pope isn’t going to change many hearts and minds in the badly divided Congress, lawmakers said, but the moment provided a brief respite from political warfare. Several presidential candidates, including Sens. Bernie Sanders, Lindsey Graham, Marco Rubio, and Ted Cruz, as well as Ben Carson, attended.
Rubio, a Roman Catholic, said in a brief interview that Francis “struck the right tone.” Sanders, a self-described socialist, seemed to like the content even more.
“Pope Francis is clearly one of the important religious and moral leaders not only in the world today but in modern history,” he said in a statement released after the speech. “He forces us to address some of the major issues facing humanity: war, income and wealth inequality, poverty, unemployment, greed, the death penalty and other issues that too many prefer to ignore.”
Democrats were eager enough to present Congress as united that they joined a Republican-led standing ovation when Francis told lawmakers of “our responsibility to protect and defend human life at every state of its development.” Several of them said it was out of respect for the pope. But there was another good reason: It strengthened the perception that the whole speech — most of which they liked — carried unifying themes.
Unity was good for Democrats because the speech favored their policies
Francis was interrupted a few times by whoops from the Democratic side of the chamber — by Steve Cohen, a Jewish Memphis Democrat who got excited about Francis’s mention of the Golden Rule; by New York’s Nydia Velázquez when he called for an end to the death penalty; and by Philadelphia Rep. Chaka Fattah when he mentioned his upcoming visit to that city. The Republicans in the room were a bit more staid. Cruz often appeared unmoved during moments when Rubio, who was sitting nearby, applauded. That was the case when Francis asked whether the greater opportunities sought by past generations of immigrants are “not what we want for our own children?”
It was a home crowd. Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ) had announced he would boycott the event over climate change, and there was a brief murmur when it became obvious that three conservative Catholic Supreme Court justices — Antonin Scalia, Samuel Alito, and Clarence Thomas — had not shown up. But it seemed that everyone in attendance just wanted to catch a glimpse of Francis and hear what he had to say.
Big-name guests filed into the public galleries above the House chamber long before the pope’s arrival: Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, former Rep. Gabby Giffords, mega-donor Tom Steyer, and Carson. House members filled the seats in their chamber, followed by the Senate and four Supreme Court justices. At about a minute past 10 am, Francis strode down the center aisle of the House chamber, clad in his familiar white robe and skullcap.
Lawmakers, who had been admonished not to touch the pope, refrained from trying to shake his hand or pat his back. There was no rush to crowd him the way members of Congress try to get into pictures with the president during the annual State of the Union address. When he got to the end of the aisle, he quietly shook hands with Secretary of State John Kerry and then made his way to the rostrum.
Samantha Power, the US ambassador to the UN, pulled out a baby blue iPhone and began snapping pictures. Though she later took to Twitter to commemorate the moment, Power hadn’t posted any of her photos by midday.
For his part, Francis warmed up the audience by describing America as “the land of the free and the home of the brave.” He was slow to move into more politically charged territory but unimpeded when he did. There were 10 standing ovations after his initial greeting, and they were bipartisan.
Francis tackled tough issues at the heart of the US political debate and gently admonished lawmakers to build bridges
At times, Francis seemed to be speaking directly into the headlines and newscasts of the day.
Less than a week after Carson said that America shouldn’t elect a Muslim president, Francis warned that “a delicate balance is required to combat violence perpetrated in the name of a religion, an ideology or an economic system, while also safeguarding religious freedom, intellectual freedom and individual freedoms.”
As Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump promises to build a wall between Mexico and the US, and to prevent Syrian refugees from being admitted to America, Francis compared the current refugee crisis to the one that arose in World War II and said that “we the people of this continent are not fearful of foreigners, because most of us were once foreigners.” That drew a standing ovation. Rubio, who has shifted his emphasis on immigration reform over time, leaped to his feet.
And while Democrats continue to bask in this summer’s Supreme Court decision protecting same-sex marriage, the pope said he was concerned that “fundamental relationships are being called into question, as is the very basis of marriage and the family.” The issue that caused the biggest stir before the speech — climate change — factored prominently in Francis’s remarks. He spoke of the human roots of global warming and said, “I am convinced we can make a difference.”
But perhaps the most unexpected run in the speech was an admonishment as gentle as it was clear: Politics is about building bridges, not destroying them. Francis never mentioned the international nuclear nonproliferation deal with Iran by name or the gridlock in American politics, but he seemed to be speak to both matters.
“When countries which have been at odds resume the path of dialogue — a dialogue which may have been interrupted for the most legitimate of reasons — new opportunities open up for all,” he said. “A good political leader is one who, with the interests of all in mind, seizes the moment in a spirit of openness and pragmatism. A good political leader always opts to initiate processes rather than possessing spaces.”
Pennsylvania Republican Rep. Joe Pitts, speaking about the pope’s limited remarks on abortion and same-sex marriage, said he was displeased that Francis had been “unfortunately politically correct.”
For liberals, though, he was simply correct about politics.

Highlighting not only the Moon goddess Diana...
...but also the Aurora mass shooting this summer on the 43rd anniversary of the historic Moon landing (July 20). As discussed before, "Aurora" happens to be the name of a pregnant girl in Babylon A.D. who gives birth to messianic twin babies.
Michael Jackson is another famous "Moonwalker" whose birthday August 29 coincides with our second anchor date of the window.

The very next day, or simultaneously on August 28-29, the birth (water breaking) event took place...

Everyone could see that Isaac was a Katrina clone, ravaging the same region on the same date, exactly 7 years later. An echo anticipated in Aurora Code 2012 (7/21/2012):
August 29 - Babylon A.D. release date - adds to the pregnancy/birth theme as it is the birthday of the ancient Egyptian goddess Hathor, associated with the Milky Way/Nile and the flood ("water breaking") and considered a herald of imminent birth.
In 2005, August 29 was the exact date of New Orleans' "water breaking" impact moment when Hurricane Katrina made landfall there... right at the midpoint of a Galactic-Mayan timeline directly involving the year 2012.
"Katrina" means "Catherine" as in Catherine"Kate" Middleton, i.e. the UK princess whose pregnancy/childbirth we've been long projecting for the Mayan window of 2012-2013 on our sites (Etemenanki/STRUG). [...]
"Maya" is today Mexico [as in "Gulf of Mexico"] and the name "Mexico" via Mextli refers to a "god of war" which in Roman mythology is Mars. "Mexico" via Mexihco means "Place at the Center of the Moon" implying "in the womb of Diana". [...]
...I'm going to go ahead and say that I see the latter part of August as a window for big things. Anchor dates ~August 24 and 29.
So we had the symbolism down beforehand and Isaac was a dramatic pattern fulfillment, the reality of which was confirmed and enhanced by additional eye-popping clues dropped on the other side of the Atlantic that same day...
It was the Paralympics opening ceremony in London on August 29 where Isaac Newton was being honored for his contribution to the expansion of human knowledge.

Two Isaacs, same message. Isaac Newton is all about gravity and the (falling) apple, implying the following:
- "Gravity" is related to the Latin word gravidity (meaning "heavy") which is a scientific term for the state of pregnancy.
- "Apple" is the meaning of the term "Avalon" which is King Arthur's mythical "underworld" where he is said to be hibernating and would return from as the Once and Future King ("rebirth"), i.e. a drama unfolding at this time semi-literally through the rise of the Kate-William-baby trinity.

A big exclamation mark came toward the end of the show in the form of a giant naked, pregnant woman based on an actual sculpture in London called "Alison Lapper Pregnant". I'm not kidding, see for yourself:
She was the centerpiece of the closing phase of the ceremony. For much of the duration of the show, however, the centerpiece was... the Moon.
The whole ceremony was lunar, and it was in London... together evoking Princess Diana. In this way, we were given another confirmation that the prevalent pregnancy/birth motif pertains mainly (but not exclusively) to the late princess's Arthurian descendants/family/bloodline. Kate Middleton while not related by blood is a worthy successor to Diana and is more than ready to bring a new life into this world with Prince William. My projection has always been that she would likely get pregnant in 2012 and give birth in the 2012-2013 time frame (naturally looking at 2013 now). We are talking " Grail bloodline" here and there was a blatant foreshadowing in the form of NASA's GRAIL twin probes entering orbit around the Moon right at the start of 2012 on New Year's Eve/Day. "GRAIL" here stands for " Gravity Recovery and Interior Laboratory".
As it happens August 29 is also New Year's Day ("1 Thoth") of the (Alexandrian) ancient Egyptian calendar. In ancient Egypt New Year's Day signified rebirth via the combination of the heliacal rising of Sirius and the annual inundation ("water breaking") of the Nile. Everything fits just beautifully. Pattern projected and fulfilled. At this stage there should be no denying that the pattern is real.
Golden Apple
We can start looking ahead using the same general pattern and specifically the golden apple which was conspicuously floating around at the opening ceremony on August 29. 
Thrown into a party, a golden apple becomes an unmistakable omen.... hinting at what amounts to a world war. Great chaos. That's the basic story of the Golden Apple of Discord in Greek mythology: goddess Discordia/Eris throws a golden apple with the inscription "for the fairest" into a wedding banquet, followed by a beauty contest, then the "abduction" of Helen as a direct consequence, sparking the Trojan War (ancient world war).
From my multicontextual point of view, it's no coincidence that the first impact event of 2012 was the Costa Concordia cruise ship disaster off Italy. "Concordia" is obviously the opposite (= upside down, like the wrecked ship) of "Discordia" (Eris) who threw the golden apple. Strong resonance there.
No coincidence especially if you take into account the fact that London was originally called "New Troy" according to legend...
...and the fact that soon after the Paralympics great chaos was unleashed in the world starting around 9/11 (= big chaos/war date) coinciding with another big "Apple" event (iPhone 5):
Orange Alignment

Themes: Golden apple/Orange, Chaos, Birthquake
For many years now we've been tracking what we call the "Orange Alignment" i.e. a heliocentric lining up of Venus, Sun and Mercury. I've shown many times before that when they come, we do feel their impact. It is my view that the next one coming up soon is a highly charged one... because, for one, in many languages the fruit orange is called... "golden apple".
 
The Orange Alignment will be formed in our solar system on ~October 20, 2012, like this:
Making it even more ominous, the alignment angle pinpoints the Earth's orbital position on January 12-13 (annual), which is the exact date of this year's Costa Concordia disaster (= Discordia => golden apple/orange) as well as the devastating Haiti earthquake (Birthquake) back in 2010. (Orange Alignments are often "earth changes" markers.)
That, to me, just does not look good. Some kind of big impact appears to be in the offing there (directly or indirectly) and I would expect it to continue to express the same underlying themes, but more intensely. Hopefully it's more about things like the Royal Pregnancy, Mars, etc. rather than severe earth changes, war, and such. There are obviously many possible scenarios and we may well be looking at multiple events (or just strong signals) unfolding simultaneously or in quick sequence.
I should also mention that there are other aspects of the whole golden apple business that points its temporal finger squarely at the year 2013. As well, before we even get there we'll have... certain things coming later this year which we'll need to talk about soon.

Exactly at midnight on New Year’s Eve/Day, the brightest star in the night sky Sirius – the “Dog Star” – reaches its highest altitude in the local sky crossing the meridian due south 180 degrees away from the Sun (“culmination”).
Only on this special day every year we see this magical alignment produce such a spectacular “as above, so below” cosmic design quietly ringing in the new year like an ancient celestial clock striking 12 in the shadow of bright fireworks simultaneously going off around the world.
It’s extra special in/around 2019…
…due to the fact that Sirius has a companion star, Sirius B or the “Pup”, with a highly elliptical and off-centered ~50-year orbit around the primary star, meaning Sirius B was at the same exact orbital position exactly 50 years ago, i.e. 1969, a monumental year for mankind in history marked by Apollo 11‘s Moon landing.
It’s not just Apollo 11. 1969/2019 is inherently special also because Sirius B happened to be at apoapsis, i.e. the farthest point from Sirius A, in both 1969 and 2019!

For the first time since 1969/Apollo 11, we are back to the same orbital position – Sirian apoapsis – in 2019 after a cycle of 50 years. You weren’t openly told about this (unless you were a STR member) but there has been a string of “rituals” in 2019 acknowledging this special moment.

…which was actually also the exact day Sirius was crossing the meridian due south exactly at noon i.e. mirroring the New Year’s alignment (noon vs midnight)!
The eclipse also literally coincided with the US women defeating England in the World Cup semifinals appropriately enough just 2 days before Independence Day (i.e. independence from the UK/England), echoed further by Venus igniting Orion’s torch (=> Lady Liberty) right next to the eclipse…

…echoed by the “ring of fire” solar eclipse we just had on the other side of the globe the day after Christmas (the first one since July 2)…
