Leonardo Da Vinci inventó el primer robot de la historia y lo que logró fue increíble
Un nuevo hallazgo vuelve a sorprender al público por parte del genio florentino.

La Italia del Renacimiento ha dejado grandes joyas en la herencia cultural mundial. No es para menos ya que reunió en sus siglos de existencia a grandes genios de la Humanidad en múltiples campos. Inventores, pintores, escultores, arquitectos, científicos. Además, el ideal renacentista impulsaba a todos ellos a ser creadores totales que abarcaran prácticamente todos los campos del conocimiento. Una de estas figuras fue Leonardo Da Vinci, posiblemente uno de los grandes genios de la historia mundial. Estudiado hasta la saciedad con el objetivo de penetrar en su mente, muchas personas han quedado eclipsadas por uno solo de sus cuadros, La Gioconda.
Tecnología
Sin embargo, el polímata florentino se desempeñó con gran éxito en múltiples aspectos. En la pintura su perspectiva aérea todavía es alabada (y no precisamente por La Gioconda), mientras que muchos de sus estudios sobre la anatomía y las proporciones humanas han llegado hasta nuestros días. Uno de los puntos en los que brilló con especial fulgor fue en su ingenio como inventor, desarrollando armas y productos interesantísimos como el primer intento de avión.
Uno de sus inventos más ignorados pero también muy interesante fue un caballero autómata que funcionaba prácticamente como un robot con múltiples cualidades.
El robot de Leonardo Da Vinci
Desde la Antigüedad Clásica el ser humano ha pensado en robots. En esa época se conocían como Autómatas y eran considerados creaciones propias de los dioses. El Renacimiento buscaba volver a la Antigüedad desde un prisma de visión propio de la época, por lo que se inspiró en muchos de sus mitos y creaciones para traerlos de nuevo a la vida en la época medieval y moderna.
Basándose en los autómatas de Herón de Alejandría, uno de los genios de la Antigüedad, Leonardo Da vinci trató de recuperar esta idea, trayéndonos un autómata en forma de ser humano que desarrolló en el año 1495. Lo bautizó como automata cavaliere tal y como cuentan en Urban Tecno y se convirtió en uno de sus inventos más interesantes aunque su finalidad fuera únicamente recreativa.
Construido para la familia Sforza que dirigía el futuro de Milán en aquella época, este autómata era una estructura de madera que contaba con una serie de poleas que le permitía moverse y hacer acciones muy básicas. Sobre la estructura de madera llevaba una armadura de placas propia de la época en la que parecía prácticamente un robot de hoy en día.
Desafortunadamente no tenemos restos reales de cómo fue esta obra. Solo hay reconstrucciones modernas que se basan en los escritos que se han conservado a lo largo de la historia. Así, se trata de otra de esas creaciones que Leonardo Da Vinci no fue capaz de lograr debido a que fue un genio avanzado a su tiempo que con la tecnología de su época no pudo lograr aquellas cosas que realmente soñaba.

Cancún, Quintana Roo 04 de Septiembre del 2023:No es necesario presentar a Leonardo da Vinci, un genio histórico universalmente reconocido de cuyo copioso trabajo siguen apareciendo novedades cada cierto tiempo. La que vamos a ver hoy no es nueva y ni siquiera segura, pues no se sabe si pasó de la mera fase teórica, pero resulta apasionante de todos modos: usando una armadura de la época a la que incorporó una serie de mecanismos internos, el sabio italiano pudo haber construido hacia 1495 una especie de robot que sería el primero de forma humana de Occidente. Se lo conoce como el caballero autómata.
Un autómata, en definición de la RAE, es «una máquina dotada de un mecanismo que le permite moverse, en particular la que imita la figura y movimientos de un ser animado, normalmente humano«. Es muy antigua la idea de una figura, ya sea antropomorfa o zoomorfa, que tenga cierta animación.
Parece ser que en el Egipto faraónico se hacían estatuas que movían la cabeza o encendían los ojos, al igual que la mitología griega cuenta cómo Hefestos fabricó al gigante de bronce Talos para proteger a la princesa Europa. También han trascendido el nombre de un artesano especializado, el alejandrino Ctesibio (que fue el primer director de la Bilbioteca de Alejandría), y un tratado sobre el tema escrito por otro alejandrino, Herón.
Fue en la Edad Media cuando la fabricación de autómatas dio el gran salto adelante, especialmente en el Imperio Bizantino, con su corte de fantasía, y en el mundo musulmán; en este último los hermanos Banu Musa publicaron El libro de los mecanismos ingeniosos y Al-Jazarí El libro del conocimiento de los ingeniosos mecanismos. Paralelamente, en Asia trabajaba el inventor chino Su Song y en la india el rey Boja escribía el Samarangana Sutradhara, uno de cuyos capítulos está dedicado a autómatas. Tampoco hay que olvidar los diseños del francés Villard de Honnecourt.
El gran momento de la creación de autómatas llegaría en los siglos XVIII y XIX de la mano de genios como Jacques de Vaucanson, Friedrich von Knauss, Pierre Jaquet-Droz, Jean Eugène Robert-Houdin, Innocenzo Manzetti y otros, cuyo legado sería recogido a principios del siglo XX. Pero antes estuvo la Edad Moderna, en la que Juanelo Turriano, René Descartes, Philip Hainhofer y Athanasius Kircher fueron algunos de los teóricos y prácticos que alcanzaron la fama al recoger el testigo del paduano Giovanni Fontana y otros renacentistas anteriores. El abanderado de todos ellos fue, sin duda, Leonardo.
El sabio de Vinci vivió en la segunda mitad del Quattrocento y las dos primeras décadas del Cinquecento, una época en la que el arte de crear automátas se había convertido en una constante para todos los inventores, siendo frecuente que los acaudalados mecenas amenizaran con alguno las extravagantes fiestas que organizaban.
Así, para promover una cruzada contra los turcos, el duque de Borgoña Felipe III creó en 1454 un espectáculo de entretenimiento llamado La fiesta del Faisán que terminó siendo una gran exhibición de autómatas, gigantes y enanos, mientras que Camila de Aragón presentó un camello mecánico durante un banquete celebrado en 1475.
En esa línea, se atribuye al propio Leonardo la construcción de un león autómata de bronce que presentó al rey francés Francisco I cuando entró en Lyon en 1515, celebrando la alianza firmada entre Francia y los Médici. Decimos «se atribuye» porque en realidad no consta que pasara de ser un mero diseño, siendo la única fuente que tenemos la Descrizione delle felicissime nozze della Christianissima Maestà di Madama Maria Medici Regina di Francia e di Navarra (única y tardía, de 1600), en la que se cita un testimonio dejado por Miguel Ángel, Vasari y Lomazzo dando fe de la existencia de que el león caminó sobre una mesa.
Al parecer, también podía abrirse el pecho con su zarpa dejando al descubierto el escudo de armas del rey, moviéndose merced a una carreta autopropulsada que su autor había dibujado en 1478.
Esa incertidumbre sobre si se llevó a la práctica lo diseñado sobre el papel es habitual en casi todo lo que hizo Leonardo y el caso del caballero autómata no constituye una excepción.
Se conoció en los años cincuenta del siglo XX, cuando se redescubrió una página del Codex Atlanticus (una colección encuadernada de dibujos y escrituras multitemáticas de Leonardo), datada entre 1495 y 1497, en la que hay dibujos de una armadura de estilo italo-alemán con mecanismos internos que, según algunos estudios, reproducirían movimientos humanos básicos: sentarse, mover los brazos, inclinar la cabeza, abrir la mandíbula y hasta emitir sonidos desde la boca mediante un sistema de percusión que habría a la altura del pecho.
Investigaciones posteriores hallaron nuevas notas en otras páginas del Codex Atlanticus que podrían corresponder a mecanismos del caballero autómata. El condicional se debe al desorden descontextualizado en que se encuentran y la difícultad de su interpretación con certeza; algunos bosquejos parecen encajar en el modelo, pero otros no tanto, así que quizá sean de otro proyecto mecánico, pues ya vimos aquel león que presuntamente hizo Leonardo -al menos en teoría- y el propio Codex muestra el diseño de una especie de carro autopropulsado por un sistema de ruedas dentadas unidas a un rudimentario diferencial.
Leonardo, claro, no concibió todo esto de la nada; como explica el Códice Huygens (un manuscrito de la segunda mitad del siglo XVI, atribuido al artista Carlo Urbino, cuyo cuarto volumen está dedicado al sabio italiano), había detrás toda una tradición que ya hemos reseñado y que él había estudiado concienzudamente, siendo su referencia más reciente e importante los trabajos de Jordanus Nemorarius, un erudito del siglo XIII que había tratado los principios de la mecánica en su obra Elementa super demonstrationem ponderum (también conocida como De ponderibus).
La combinación de esos precedentes con el canon de proporciones anatómicas de Vitruvio y sus propias investigaciones sobre kinesiología, permitieron a Leonardo idear y desarrollar sistemas mecánicos de movimiento para su caballero autómata. Lo diseñó hacia 1495, justo antes de acometer una de sus pinturas emblemáticas, La Última Cena, y adelantándose veinte años al león, aunque probablemente también se trató de un encargo festivo: habría sido para animar una fiesta de Ludovico Sforza, por entonces duque de Milán. Como en el caso anterior, tampoco se sabe si llegó a ser una realidad.
Dicen los expertos que los mecanismos interiores del caballero autómata eran de madera, pero con elementos de cuero y metal, accionándose por un sistema de cables para simular tendones y músculos, y un sistema de manivelas externas para mover las piernas (accionadas por personas, evidentemente); los brazos deberían moverse al unísono, si bien hay quien opina que únicamente lo harían las muñecas.
Lo cierto es que cada nuevo análisis revela nuevos supuestos teóricos e incrementa la controversia sobre lo que podía hacer. Eso se debe a que, como decíamos antes, no hay consenso sobre qué mecanismos internos de los que aparecen en bocetos pueden asimilarse a ese proyecto y cuáles serían de otro, a causa de la falta de precisión y especificidad del propio autor.
Un ejemplo: las reconstrucciones del autómata anteriores a 2007 solían incluir en su vientre un extraño mecanismo que siempre parecía fuera de lugar y que finalmente fue identificado como un simple reloj que Leonardo mismo había descrito en uno de los Códices Madrid (unos manuscritos suyos sobre mecánica, estática, geometría y poliorcética traídos a la España de Felipe II por el escultor Pompeo Leoni y extraviados hasta su redescubrimiento en la Biblioteca Nacional de España en 1964)
Más allá de la investigación teórica, ha habido varios intentos actuales de reconstruir físicamente al caballero autómata. El primero fue en 1996, con la colaboración entre el experto en robótica Mark Rosheim y el Museo Galileo de Florencia para la exposición Gli ingegneri del Rinascimento. Da Brunelleschi a Leonardo da Vinci; Rosheim repitió en 2002 con la BBC en un documental. A partir de ahí fueron varios los museos que incorporaron un modelo a sus colecciones, como ha pasado con otros proyectos leonardianos.

The Empty Tomb
20 Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the entrance. 2 So she came running to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one Jesus loved, and said, “They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we don’t know where they have put him!”
3 So Peter and the other disciple started for the tomb. 4 Both were running, but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first. 5 He bent over and looked in at the strips of linen lying there but did not go in. 6 Then Simon Peter came along behind him and went straight into the tomb. He saw the strips of linen lying there, 7 as well as the cloth that had been wrapped around Jesus’ head. The cloth was still lying in its place, separate from the linen. 8 Finally the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went inside. August 2003 & Birth of Horus
On August 6, 2003, Arnold Schwarzenegger dramatically announced his decision to run for governor of California. Two months later he won the very high-profile and bizarre recall election. We should soon enough begin to see the true nature of this development and what it could mean for the future of the United States - the sinking Titanic. Tellingly, there was much that was 'ritualistic' about the election of Schwarzenegger:

 Arnold's Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, a story about the beginning of Armageddon, was released in 2003 before the recall election.

One of Arnold's most popular films is Total Recall (1990), a futuristic story about Mars. In August '03, the month Arnold made his dramatic announcement, the Red Planet was at its closest point to Earth in recorded history. Consequently 2003 was the 'year of Mars'.

Arnie starred in The Running Man (1987). Combined with Total Recall, it is almost as if his running in the California '(total) recall' election was an event long 'prophesied' by Hollywood.

Only 8 days after Arnold announced his 'Running Man' status for the 'Total Recall' election there was as a historic 'total blackout' on the opposite coast of the US and Canada (Aug. 14). Incidentally the recall election had much to do with California's energy crisis involving blackouts; and there was a striking conceptual symmetry created by the proximity and locality of the two events. After all, 'Total Recall' meaning 'regaining awareness' is the very opposite of 'blackout', meaning 'losing awareness. Note also that the storyline of Total Recall involves controlling and manipulating energy/resources.
The ominous aura of a dark setup is intensified by the involvement of Sirius - the brightest star in the night sky - identified by ancient Egyptians with their goddess par excellence Isis, the wife-sister of Osiris (the god of the dead), with whom she had a son named Horus. August 6 (or so) happens to be the day of Sirius' heliacal rising (= dawn rising) as viewed from Giza/Cairo, the astronomical center of ancient Egypt. This is very meaningful. Here is my comment from August 20, '03:
As I noted on the day of the event, Schwarzenegger's dramatic election announcement on Aug. 6 was probably - consciously or subconsciously - meant to coincide with the heliacal rising of the star Sirius - an event that signaled for ancient Egyptians the beginning of the annual life-giving flood of the Nile (signifying the resurrection of Osiris...). Notice the conceptual parallel here: Sirius announcing the coming of the flood/Osirian resurrection and Arnie announcing his intention to become the governor of California. (The name 'Schwarzenegger' being very 'black' resonates with Osiris being the god of death/blackness.)
[Update: Actually, the date August 6th may be a little off here. I was relying on Robert Bauval's information on this but it seems it was not quite accurate. Or, it may just be that determining the heliacal rising date is just tricky which it is. It can have a range of dates or a 'window'. But even without this particular connection, the date is still highlighted by Paris, the 'Isis city', which is still, or even more, significant.]
Mythologically, the death of Osiris takes place concurrently with the conception/birth of his son Horus. In ancient Egypt, the distinction between Osiris and Horus was quite blurry as they were essentially two sides of the same coin. Horus was the reincarnated or resurrected Osiris - just as every ancient Egyptian king was perceived as Horus who upon death would become Osiris. The Sirius heliacal rising signaling the revitalization of Osiris (signified by the annual inundation of the Nile in midsummer) could therefore be viewed as the birth of Horus. And this leads to the next key point...
In ancient Egyptian tradition Horus had an alter ego in Mars ('Horus the Red'), the very planet that was so brilliant in the night sky around August 2003. As if this weren't enough, there was an amazing celestial alignment on Aug. 23 involving the Sun, Regulus, Jupiter, Venus, Earth, and Mars. The Sun-Regulus conjunction ('Regulus Day') traditionally signifies the birth of Horus - but this particular 'Regulus Day' in 2003 was extra special because of the additional major planets joining the conjunction. Adding up these and many other clues, the underlying symbolic message became quite clear to me - an Horus was born in August 2003... and his name was Arnold Schwarzenegger. The intense coherence of the Mars-Horus-election-'Total Recall' association was getting just too freakish to ignore. (See Endgame VI for more on Schwarzenegger.)
And the dark nature of this 'Horus' was suggested by numerous clues, including the following...
It is said that Paris esoterically derives its name from 'Par Isis' ('near Isis'). There is a lot of evidence to support this. As Robert Bauval writes in Secret Chamber (p.341):
 Napoleon had acquired two nicknames, one being 'L'Aigle' (the Eagle) and the other being 'L'Etoile' (the Star). That 'his star' was Sirius, the star of Isis, is not only made obvious by the coat-of-arms which he chose for Paris but, in a more arcane manner, it seems to have been linked to Napoleon's most famous monument, the Arc de Triomphe, also known as the the Place de L'Etoile (the Place of the Star),  located on the western side of the so-called Historical Axis of Paris, better known as the Champs-Elysees, [which is oriented twenty-six degrees north of west]... The star Sirius, as seen from the latitude of Paris, rises twenty-six degrees south of east.
And sure enough the 'Axis of Paris' (the Champs Elysees) was designed to align with the sunset on ~August 6.
This first of all confirms that the date is to be seen as a special day of Sirius' rising, and makes it clear that August 6 is a 'magical date' that is considered very important by past and modern 'esotericists' whose knowledge stems from ancient Egypt. Judging from the 'rise of Schwarzenegger' masterfully brought about on this date in 2003, we can infer that there is something big underway at this time. The encoded symbolism of the Osirian resurrection - or the birth of Horus - should therefore be treated seriously. Indeed, we just may be talking about something akin to the 'rise of Antichrist' here, if that gets your attention... Think Napoleon; think Hitler.
Napoleon is often thought to have been an 'antichristic' figure especially in the context of Nostradamus' prophecies. We often hear that he was 'Antichrist 1', Hitler was 'Antichrist 2', and the third has yet to come... Well, Terminator 3 was in theaters last year just before Schwarzenegger's rise in politics. So we wonder: Was 'Terminator 3' an allusion to 'Antichrist 3'? The answer we find here is amusing and ominous.
The following passage is from the Book of Revelation, apparently talking about an antichristic figure:
And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.
The two names given here, 'Abaddon' and 'Apollyon', both mean the same thing - 'Destroyer'... or even 'Terminator'! And Arnold is not only the Hollywood 'Terminator', he's also been Conan the Destroyer (1984)! The name 'Napoleon' has also been interpreted to mean none other than 'destroyer'... The parallel goes even further as we find that just as Napoleon had the nickname 'the Eagle', the name 'Arnold' means 'eagle rules'.
So, yes - the title 'Terminator 3' does scream 'Antichrist 3'... at least on a symbolic level.
What's more ominous, the chapter/verse number of the Revelation passage above from the New Testament happens to be... 9:11. We are about to see just how fitting this 'coincidental' reference is.
Martian Time Echoes
Let's take a look at some major events that took place on the 'Sirius-Paris-Arnie date' August 6 in the past, as this may give us more clues.

The Japanese city of Hiroshima became the first victim of a nuclear attack in history on August 6, 1945. We detect Horus/Mars in its symbolism: Japan is the 'Land of the Rising Sun' and the rising sun is traditionally embodied by Horus, who is analogous to the Red Planet as already mentioned. (The Japanese national flag even prominently features a red disk.)

August 6, 1996 was another major day involving Mars. On that date the issue of 'life on Mars' became a serious mainstream topic as breaking news reports suddenly told us that NASA had discovered evidence of past microbial life in a Martian meteorite. (NASA held a major press conference the next day.)
These are very telling in light of what happened in/around August 2003.
Slightly less direct, but equally telling is the 9/11 connection:

The date September 11 in the Gregorian calendar used today almost always coincides with the New Year's Day for the Ethiopian and Coptic or Christian-Egyptian calendars. The ancient Egyptian New Year's Day ('1st of Thoth') was originally set to mark the heliacal rising of Sirius which today takes place around August 6 Gregorian (as viewed from Giza/Cairo). So it can easily be said that August 6 is September 11!

As revealed in the recent public 9/11 Commission hearings (spring '04), the President of the United States was explicitly warned of an imminent al-Qaeda terrorist attack inside the US in a PDB (Presidential Daily Brief) memo dated August 6, '01. This was only a month before 9/11 and yet the White House inexplicably took no preventive actions. This was and still is one of the biggest controversies to come out of the official 9/11 investigation so far.
There is a connection between 9/11 and Mars to underscore the emerging nature of the date, Aug. 6.
First, the summer of 2001 was, like in 2003, marked by a Martian close encounter. It was during June, instead of August, that the Mars 'flyby' took place. Not as spectacular as that of 2003, but the Red Planet was a prominent light in the night sky. On June 13-14 (2001), Mars was at 'opposition' (i.e. 180 degrees away from the Sun) and it made its closest approach to Earth several days later on June 21.

On the same day, June 21, there was a total solar eclipse - as if to commemorate the Martian visit. In fact, June 21 was even the day of summer solstice (midsummer)!
So, while not as historic, the 2001 Mars opposition closely preceding the events of 9/11 was spectacular - or in hindsight 'ominous' - in its own way.
It still 'missed' 9/11 by about 3 months... Actually, it did not miss. It hit the bull's-eye perfectly - in a coded form:

September 11 Gregorian corresponds to 'Thoth 1' (New Year's Day) of the Egyptian calendar which was originally marked by the heliacal/dawn rising of Sirius. In the early phase of the ancient Egyptian civilization the Sirius rising (accompanied by the annual Nile flood) coincided with the summer solstice. It was a 'magical' day that the Egyptians naturally used to anchor their calendar. So by highlighting June 21 (i.e. Gregorian summer solstice), the special Mars opposition event in 2001 conceptually pinpointed September 11, the historical/Egyptian summer-solstice date!

On 9/11, there was another remarkable combination of summer solstice, Mars, and the Moon (i.e. all the key players of the June 21 alignment except the Sun). As the earthshaking events of 9/11 were unfolding on the planet, up in the heavens was observed the following configuration: 1) the Moon was at the summer-solstice point (i.e. where the Sun would be on the midsummer day); 2) Mars was positioned exactly 180 degrees away from the Moon on the opposite side of the sky, closely marking the winter-solstice point; and 3) consequently there was a tight Mars-Earth-Moon alignment bridging the two solstice points!
As the above illustrations show, the solstice points today are neatly indicated by the intersections of the apparent path of the Sun ('ecliptic', green line) and the Milky Way ('galactic equator', blue band). This arrangement is coincidental/temporary and is thus astronomically quite special. Some view these points as something akin to 'stargates'.
Now, the prophetic quality of all this dramatically increases as we progress forward (from 9/11/01). Mars opposition occurs approximately every 26 months, so the Sun-Earth-Mars alignment would be established again in the summer of 2003 - specifically on Aug. 28. As already discussed, it seemed to have 'anticipated' the 'Martian' event of Schwarzenegger entering politics on August 6. The same type of code was used here since Aug. 6 is or represents the actual day on which Sirius' heliacal rising occurs in our epoch. Through Sirius, June 21, Sept. 11, and Aug. 6 are but different expressions of the same archetypal date!
This calendrical link is reinforced by one of Schwarzenegger's nicknames being 'The Oak'. In pagan tradition, the 'Oak King' is associated with midsummer which is also reflected in the fact that the Christian version of the Oak King, John the Baptist, has his feast day on June 24, intended to mark the summer solstice (~June 21).
