LOS AMANTES DE LA DULCE LIRA

Vivía en aquel tranquilo lugar
una joven y preciosa doncella,
sin duda alguna, la más dulce y bella.
Un príncipe soñó un feliz hogar





crear con ella y con tesón bregar
por su amor, yendo de Oriente a Marsella,
y su sueño del cielo ve llegar.
Besó su boca dulce de grosella.




Por melaza de tal dulzor suspira,
perdidamente de ella se enamora,
y por habitar sus sueños delira.





Son los amantes de esa dulce lira
que ya brilla cual luminosa aurora.
Hoy, la llegada de un hijo él implora.
