The Number 137 is well-known throughout the physics community as the approximate inverse of the Fine Structure constant. It even has a name - alpha - which seems to be a supernatural coincidence given the context in which this number appears - John 1.1-5 - and the numerous highly significant identities associated with the Greek word Alpha.
The history  and precise value of alpha can be found on the U.S. Government's National Institute of Standards and Technology site. The current value reported from NIST is:

The value of alpha is extremely well established, with an uncertainty of about 2.7 x 10-11 - i.e. about three parts in 100 billion. It appears in Quantum Electrodynamics (aka QED) as the probability of interaction between Light and Matter. It has been the subject of intense study - many of the best physicists have felt that there must be some connection between alpha and the underlying structure of the Universe. A light hearted review of some of the more famous attempts are described here: www.137.com/137 . Without doubt, the most famous quote concerning alpha comes from Nobel Laureate Richard P. Feynman . In his comment on page 129 of his book QED, he refers to the "coupling constant, e" - the charge of the electron - which is proportional to alpha:
There is a most profound and beautiful question associated with the observed coupling constant, e, the amplitude for a real electron to emit or absorb a real photon. It is a simple number that has been experimentally determined to be close to 0.08542455. (My physicist friends won't recognize this number, because they like to remember it as the inverse of its square: about 137.03597 with about an uncertainty of about 2 in the last decimal place. It has been a mystery ever since it was discovered more than fifty years ago, and all good theoretical physicists put this number up on their wall and worry about it.) Immediately you would like to know where this number for a coupling comes from: is it related to pi or perhaps to the base of natural logarithms? Nobody knows. It's one of the greatest d--n mysteries of physics: a magic number that comes to us with no understanding by man. You might say the "hand of God" wrote that number, and "we don't know how He pushed his pencil." We know what kind of a dance to do experimentally to measure this number very accurately, but we don't know what kind of dance to do on the computer to make this number come out, without putting it in secretly!
There are many reasons great minds have been strongly attracted to this number. Not only is it prime, but is a beautiful prime made up of Unity (1, God) and a prime division of Ten (10 = 3 + 7), with echoes of the Trinity and Perfection, Fulness, Seven Spirits of God. Three united divine digits - 137 - so different from the directional composites 4 (2D) and 6 (3D). To find this as the large prime factor governing the structure of the Divine Prologue - the premier text linking Creation and Light - is certainly intriguing, to say the least. This is all greatly amplified by the concepts associated through its value, such as The God of Truth, Miracle of the Lord, Wheel, and Cross or Crucifix.
There is a profound relation between the inverse Fine Structure Constant and the Holographic Generating Set (A = 27, B = 37, C = 73) revealed by the continued fraction expansion of 137.0359997. An explanation of continued fractions, complete with an online calculator (so the results displayed below can be instantly checked) has been made available by Stephen Schmidt. Here is the continued fraction expansion, displaying the first six terms:

It is extremely important to absorb what is going on here. The first four terms of the continued fraction - derived from the experimental value of alpha inverse - are expressible as extremely simple combinations of the GenSet numbers A = 27, B = 37, and D = 137. This means that this expansion could be used to define the GenSet, with the value of C = 73 determined by the definition of D = A + B + C.
The second term of the expansion involves the Number 3700 that links Genesis 1.1, John 1.1, and the GenSet, as discussed with respect to the John 1.1 fragment of the Creation HyperHolograph.:

This means that the second term of the continued fraction yields the exact value that unites Genesis 1.1 and John 1.1 in the the Creation HyperHolograph. To find that this number is generated by a simple combination of elements from the Holographic Generating Set establishes yet another independent line of evidence suggesting that this set was carefully designed by God before the foundation of the World - or rather, this set was designed for the the foundation of the world! Of course, this implication is greatly amplified when we recall that the GenSet is unique in the infinite sea of sets composed of three postitve integers, in that it is the only set able to generate the fundamental numbers of the Creation HyperHolograph with a metric < 4.

The first and most astounding thing that leaps out from these identities is the recurrence of the Numbers 1776 and 813. They occur together in verses 3 and 4 in a tightly integrated fashion:
The relations are astounding. The Number 271 - the large prime factor of 813 - is the Tenth Hexagonal Number found in the heart of the prime Star Number 541 (Israel). Likewise, the Number 37 - the only prime factor of 1776 larger than 3 - is the bifigurate heart of the Creation HyperHolograph, being both the third Star and the fourth Centered Hexagon. The Number 1776 is also integrated with the Great Seal of the United States of America, which God raised up as a witness to the Everlasting Light of Jesus Christ. We now can represent the above relations as symmetric combinations of the hexagonal numbers 271 and 37, which are very closely related to the first two elements of the Holographic Generating Set (A = 27, B = 37, C = 73):
This is the prime structure of Genesis 1.3-4, the Creation of Light! Glory! The two largest prime factors are both Centered Hexagons, and the small factors are all powers of 2 and 3. This is the definition of integrity, the defining characteristic of Biblical Holographs. The verses are symmetrically divided into four overlapping segments that are multiples of two primes - Hexagons both - and one of which is the very Heart of Wisdom itself! And this, all in the verses declaring God's creation of Light. Endless, miraculous glory! This structure is divine to the core - straight from the Mind of God. It is immutable, unchangable, eternal, and He has given it to us to reveal Himself that we might know Him who is the fullness of all in all with all the fullness of the intellect created in the image of God. This is the purpose of this study. Time and again, I am asked what this study is good for - well this is it - it is good to know the Mind and Thoughts of our Creator, and to behold the glory of His Eternal Word!
Yet we have but just begun. The Number 271 arises from the GenSet as a variation on the theme of 2701 (Genesis 1.1):

These kind of relations are typical of GenSet identites (cf. Table of GenSet Binary Products). The last identity on top reveals the Number 271 as the difference between the 9th and 10th cubes. This results from the general property of Hexagons as the difference of sequential cubes, coupled with the facts that AB + 1 = 999 + 1 = 1000 and A2 = 729 = 93. Obviously, all of this is deeply integrated with the GenSet and Base Ten. A solid foundation for Creation! Yet even more astounding is the discovery that the elements of the GenSet and the Number 271 are all factors in the small repunits which are required for numbers to return to unity after division characteristic of creation.
Here is a visual representation of the numerical relations implicit in Genesis 1.1-5. The Number 37 is bifigurate. It represents both the Hexagonal core of 73-as-Star, and the Star associated with 19-as-Hexagon. I alternate between Hexagonal and Star representations simply for the symmetry it yields in the image below:
The dotted line from the prime Hexagonal Number 271 to the G4 segment is meant to indicate that it is the ordinal value of G4, when the Spirit of God moved upon the waters.
The Creation of Light portion of this structure (Genesis 1.3-5) integrates with the Wheel of Light - where the word Light (Aur = 207) is found to be auto-correlated on a Cycle of 22 letters.

A monkey is a primate of the Haplorrhini suborder and simian infraorder, either an Old World monkey or a New World monkey, but excluding apes. There are about 260 known living species of monkey. Many are arboreal, although there are species that live primarily on the ground, such as baboons. Monkeys are generally considered to be intelligent. Unlike apes, monkeys usually have tails. Tailless monkeys may be called "apes", incorrectly according to modern usage; thus the tailless Barbary macaque is called the "Barbary ape".
The New World monkeys (superfamily Ceboidea) are classified within the parvorder of Platyrrhini, whereas the Old World monkeys (superfamily Cercopithecoidea) form part of the parvorder Catarrhini, which also includes the hominoids (apes, including humans). Thus, as Old World monkeys are more closely related to hominoids than they are to New World monkeys, the monkeys are not a unitary (monophyletic) group.
Historical and modern terminology
According to the Oxford English Dictionary, the word "monkey" may originate in a German version of the Reynard the Fox fable, published circa 1580. In this version of the fable, a character named Moneke is the son of Martin the Ape.[1] In English, no very clear distinction was originally made between "ape" and "monkey"; thus the 1910 Encyclopædia Britannica entry for "ape" notes that it is either a synonym for "monkey" or is used to mean a tailless humanlike primate.[2] Such confusions persist. Colloquially, the terms "monkeys" and "apes" may still be used interchangeably.[3] Due to its size (up to 1 m/3 ft) the Mandrill is often thought to be an ape, but it is actually an Old World monkey. Also, a few monkey species have the word "ape" in their common name, such as the Barbary Ape.
Later in the first half of the 20th century, the idea developed that there were trends in primate evolution and that the living members of the order could be arranged in a series, leading through "monkeys" and "apes" to humans.[4] Monkeys thus constituted a "grade" on the path to humans and were distinguished from "apes".[5]
Scientific classifications are now more often based on monophyletic groups, that is groups consisting of all the descendants of a common ancestor. The New World monkeys and the Old World monkeys are each monophyletic groups, but their combination is not, since it excludes hominoids (apes and humans). Thus the term "monkey" no longer refers to a recognized scientific taxon. The smallest accepted taxon which contains all the monkeys is the infraorder Simiiformes, or simians. However this also contains the hominoids (apes and humans), so that monkeys are, in terms of currently recognized taxa, non-hominoid simians.
A group of monkeys may be referred to as a mission or a tribe.
Physical description
Monkeys range in size from the Pygmy Marmoset, at 140 to 160 millimetres (5–6 in) long (plus tail) and 120 to 140 grams (4–5 oz) in weight, to the male Mandrill, almost 1 metre (3.3 ft) long and weighing 35 kilograms (77 lb). Some are arboreal (living in trees) while others live on the savanna; diets differ among the various species but may contain any of the following: fruit, leaves, seeds, nuts, flowers, eggs and small animals (including insects and spiders).
Some characteristics are shared among the groups; most New World monkeys have prehensile tails while Old World monkeys have non-prehensile tails or no visible tail at all. Some have trichromatic color vision like that of humans, others are dichromats or monochromats. Although both the New and Old World monkeys, like the apes, have forward-facing eyes, the faces of Old World and New World monkeys look very different, though again, each group shares some features such as the types of noses, cheeks and rumps.

The following list shows where the various monkey families (bolded) are placed in the classification of living (extant) primates.
Relationship with humans
The many species of monkey have varied relationships with humans. Some are kept as pets, others used as model organisms in laboratories or in space missions. They may be killed in monkey drives when they threatened agriculture, or used as service animals for the disabled.
In some areas, some species of monkey are considered agricultural pests, and can cause extensive damage to commercial and subsistence crops.[6] This can have important implications for the conservation of endangered species, which may be subject to persecution. In some instances farmers' perceptions of the damage may exceed the actual damage.[7] Monkeys that have become habituated to human presence in tourist locations may also be considered pests, attacking tourists.[8]
In religion and culture, the monkey often represents quick-wittedness and mischief.
As service animals for the disabled
Some organizations, for example Helping Hands: Monkey Helpers for the Disabled,[9] train capuchin monkeys as monkey helpers to assist quadriplegics and other people with severe spinal cord injuries or mobility impairments. After being socialized in a human home as infants, the monkeys undergo extensive training before being placed with a quadriplegic. Around the house, the monkeys help out by doing tasks including microwaving food, washing the quadriplegic's face and opening drink bottles.
In experiments
Macaques, especially the Rhesus Macaque, and African Green Monkeys are widely used in animal testing facilities, either wild-caught or purpose-bred.[11] They are used primarily because of their relative ease of handling, their fast reproductive cycle (compared to apes) and their psychological and physical similarity to humans. In the United States, around 50,000 non-human primates, most of them monkeys, have been used in experiments every year since 1973; 10,000 monkeys were used in the European Union in 2004.[citation needed]
The use of monkeys in laboratories is controversial. Animal rights activists claim that their use is cruel and produces little information of value, and there have been many protests, vandalism to testing facilities and threats to workers.[citation needed] Others claim that it has led to many important medical breakthroughs such as the rabies vaccine, understanding of human reproduction and basic knowledge about brain function and that the prevention of harm to humans should be a higher priority than the possible harm done to monkeys. The topic has become a popular cause for animal rights and animal welfare groups.[citation needed]
In space
A number of countries have used monkeys as part of their space exploration programmes, including the United States and France. The first monkey in space was Albert II who flew in the US-launched V-2 rocket on June 14, 1949.
As food
Monkey brains are eaten as a delicacy in parts of South Asia, Africa and China.[12] In traditional Islamic dietary laws, the eating of monkeys is forbidden. However, monkeys are sometimes eaten in parts of Africa, where they can be sold as "bushmeat".[13]
