EL TABLERO DE AJEDREZ Y SU SIGNIFICADO ESOTÉRICO
Simboliza el Teatro o Entablado de la Vida Universal.
Los cuatro lados del tablero representan a los cuatro elementos de la Naturaleza: fuego, aire, agua y tierra, mencionados en forma reiterada por todos los tratados de la Alquimia.
Asimismo, alegorizan a las cuatro estaciones y las cuatro edades.
También representan a los Cuerpos Existenciales Superiores del Ser: Físico, Astral, Mental y Causal.
El tablero consta de 8 filas y de 8 columnas.
Multiplicando los 8 cuadros que, en sus dos lados, conforman el tablero, obtenemos el número 64.
A su vez, sumado cabalísticamente el número resultante (6+4), obtenemos el Arcano 10 del Tarot que refleja la rueda de la vida.
Por otro lado, si observamos cuidadosamente los 32 cuadros de color blanco y los 32 cuadros de color negro , encontramos allí una manifestación evidente de los Pares de los Opuestos de la Filosofía Hermética . Es decir, la luz y las tinieblas, el día y la noche, la permanente lucha entre las fuerzas del bien y las fuerzas del mal, que hay que trascender, pasando más allá de las dos. Tales opuestos, blanco y negro, constituyen el Yin y el Yan de los orientales: la fuerza pasiva y la fuerza activa. La manifestación de la lucha entre el bien y el mal se plasma, también con los cuadros blancos y con los cuadros negros, por ejemplo, en los solados de diversas catedrales góticas, representativo del equilibrio entre lo positivo y lo negativo.
Sumando otra vez cabalísticamente, ahora el número 32, obtenemos el número 5 que, en los Arcanos Mayores del Tarot Egipcio, representa a la Gran Ley, a la Justicia Divina. Esto significa que el Tribunal de la Justicia Objetivamaneja las dos fuerzas antagónicas y estamos sometidos a sus dictámenes.
Todas las personas, querámoslo o no, percibámoslo o no, jugamos (trabajamos) sobre el tablero.

A lo lejos y en dirección noroeste pudimos llegar a ver el Puente de la Libertad, puente que une la Piazzale de Roma con tierra firme, en el barrio de Mestre.
Y más lejos todavía pero en dirección noreste y como pocas veces sucede, llegamos a ver la isla de Murano.
La panorámica de la iglesia de basílica San Giorgio Maggiore, ubicada en la isla del mismo nombre es espectacular, súper fotogénica!!!
Si somos capaces de despegar los ojos del increíble paisaje y mirar hacia arriba, 5 grandes campanas se alzan sobre nuestras cabezas.
Durante el periodo de la República, cada una de ellas tenía una función diferente. Dependiendo de cuál sonara, los habitantes de Veneciasabían los acontecimientos que habían sucedido en la ciudad, desde condenas a muerte a consejos urgentes.
En lo alto de una columna podemos ver una placa con una inscripción que indica, que este fue el lugar donde Galileo Galilei presentó su innovador invento, el telescopio.
Desde este mismo lugar, se hicieron pruebas con el primer telescopio del mundo, convirtiéndose en uno de los grandes acontecimientos de la historia.
Muy satisfechos con la visita, pero congelados, no hay que olvidar que estamos en diciembre a unos 2 grados y a esa altura soplaba el viento que no veas… ponemos fin a la visita.
Descendemos de nuevo en el ascensor y cuando llegamos abajo, vemos que la fila de espera era más larga aún que cuando llegamos… Menos mal que hemos madrugado!!!
Nuestra conclusión es que si hace buen día, merece la pena la visita y pagar el caro precio de la entrada.
Recomendamos subir la torre, después de haber visitado la ciudad, así todo es más familiar e intentas ubicar los lugares ya visitados.
Las vistas son incomparables desde el punto más alto de la ciudad!!!

Troyes is the former capital of Champagne and is a perfect short trip visit from Paris. At just an hour and a half by train it can be a day trip but a couple of days and an overnight stay would be better because there’s so much to see and do in this lovely, vibrant city.
A town that is shaped like a Champagne cork in Champagne?
Troyes is an ancient city, once a Roman town with a direct road from Milan and onwards to Boulogne-sur-Mer on the Opal Coast in the north of France – the route for the invasion of Britain. Later the rich and powerful Counts of Champagne built a palace in Troyes and it was a prosperous place that attracted merchants from all over Europe. The counts fortified their town and though at that time Champagne didn’t even exist, the walls took the form of a Champagne cork.
Following a huge fire in 1524 that destroyed many of the ancient buildings that were constructed from wood, new brick buildings were erected and many of them remain to this day. Indeed the inhabitants of Troyes lived in these buildings pretty much as they had been for hundreds of years right up until the 1950s. It was a decade when the town council went on a bit of a renovation rampage to improve conditions since many of the old buildings had no bathrooms and poor hygiene conditions.
Fortunately they didn’t destroy too much and visiting Troyes is like stepping back in time. Every street seems to have its quota of half-timbered houses and there are cobbled streets and tiny alleyways that create a mesmerising maze in the centre of the old town of Troyes. In the little ruelle des Chats (Cats Alley) you’ll see it is so narrow that the houses lean in and touch via a central gutter at the top and cats could cross from houses on both sides of the roads. At the side of the office of the Mutuelle Societe at 111 rue Emile Zola you can enter a gate and at the back you’ll discover a stunning renaissance house looking exactly as it did when it was built. At the Cour du Mortier d’or, the ancient timber frames still bear the workman’s trademarks.
Everywhere you go here you’ll discover traces of history from hundreds of years ago, quaint, quirky and irresistibly charming…
