THE GOLDEN ROSE
|
 The Shrine of Fatima has received two Golden Roses, a distinction that the Popes grants to personalities or shrines, churches or cities, as a token of recognition for the noticeable services provided to the Church or for the good of society.
The tradition of this distinction is documented since the pontificate of Leo IX (1049-1054) but it is believed that it goes back to the end of the sixth century or beginning of the seventh century. The Golden Roses are usually blessed on the Laetare Sunday, at the end of Lent.
The First Golden Rose
The first Golden Rose of the Shrine of Fatima was granted by Pope Blessed Paul VI, on November 21st, 1964, at the end of the third session of the Vatican Council II, having been blessed by the Pope on March 28th, 1965.
It was delivered to the Shrine on May 13th, 1965, by cardinal Fernando Cento, legate of the Pope.
During the blessing ceremony, Blessed Paul VI recalled the significance of the Golden Roses that, in its “mystical meaning, represent the joy of the double Jerusalem – Triumphant Church and Militant Church – and the beautiful Flower of Jericho – the Immaculate Virgin -, who is also your Patroness and the joy and the crown of all Saints”.
“[The Golden Rose] is the testimony of Our paternal affection for the noble Portuguese nation; it is the token of Our devotion to this distinguished Shrine, where an altar was erected to the Mother of God”, underlined Paul VI.
The Pope also added that the rose is the symbol of penance, recalling the message of Our Lady to the Shepherds during the Apparitions from May to October 1917: “The Virgin of Fatima came to the world to remind the evangelic message of penance and prayer, so forgotten of the world; dear sons and daughters, you should now give the example regarding the fulfillment of this message”.
The second golden rose
On May 12th, 2010, on a pilgrimage to Fatima, Pope Benedict XVI offered the second Golden Rose to the Shrine; it was the first time that a Pope had personally this gesture in Portugal.
Kneeled in front of the Statue of Our Lady of the Rosary of Fatima, in the Chapel of the Apparitions, the now Pope Emeritus, in prayer before the Virgin Mary offered the second Golden Rose “as a homage of gratitude” for the wonders that, through Her, God has worked in the hearts of the pilgrims.
“I am sure that the shepherd-children of Fatima, Blessed Francisco and Jacinta and the Servant of God Lucia of Jesus, are united with us at this hour of prayer and jubilation”, he added.
The Shrine of Our Lady of Sameiro, in Braga, also received a Golden Rose on December 8th, 2004, conceded by Pope John Paul II on the occasion of the centennial of the Crowning of the statue of Our Lady. The golden Rose was delivered by cardinal Eugénio Sales, legate of the Pope.

La Dirección General de Impacto y Riesgo Ambiental de la Secretaría de Medio Ambiente y Recursos Naturales informa que ha recibido la documentación de la firma promovente Más Energía, para el proyecto de la Subestación eléctrica de maniobras Magdalena I (Parque Solar Magdalena I).
El proyecto consiste en la construcción, operación y mantenimiento de una subestación eléctrica de maniobras, dos accesos, y una línea eléctrica de entronque de 400 Kv que se interconectará a una línea de transmisión eléctrica existente de 400 Kv propiedad de la Comisión Federal de Electricidad para desahogar la energía eléctrica que se genera en la planta fotovoltaica parque solar Magdalena I al Sistema Eléctrico Nacional.

What Could White Rose’s Project Be? Putting Together The Pieces
I’m of the opinion that White Rose’s project will be used to open a portal to another universe or manipulate time. Below is some evidence and reasoning for this theory.

White Rose’s machine is an exact replica of CERN’s particle accelerator. There are various theories that CERN could be attempting to manipulate time or open portals to another dimension. CERN’s particle accelerator’s true purpose, some have suggested (such as researcher Anthony Patch) to access an inter-dimensional doorway to another universe and this is not just hinted by their iconography and occult connections (as others have pointed out) but something they have suggested themselves. The director of CERN, Bertolucci, was quoted as saying: “The Large Hadron Collider could open a doorway to another dimension, and out this door might come something, or we might send something through it”. CERN themselves are very shady. Their logo consists of three six’s (that’s 666) and the name CERN is an abbreviation of “CERNUNNOS” — the god of the underworld, who’s mythologically similar to Osiris, Enki, Nimrod or Ninurta. CERN also have a Shiva statue outside the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) symbolising the cosmic dance of “creation and destruction” and CERN have performed a so-called dance of destruction in a video that you can watch on YouTube, called Symmetry and another video that they exhibited is called Black Rain.

Mr Robot would not be the first TV series that flirts with the idea of CERN being able to manipulate time and space in some way. The possibility the Large Hadron Collider at CERN could be used as a means to open an inter-dimensional doorway has no doubt been the inspiration behind the various TV references which explore the same sort of themes. For example in the CGI movie Spider Man: Into the Spider-Verse, a CERN-like particle collider opens a portal to another dimension. In the TV series Steins Gate, through the means of Kerr black-holes the Large Hadron Collider at CERN (SERN) is used to travel in time and in the movie Cloverfield: Paradox, a particle accelerator supposedly tears a hole in the fabric of time and space, opening up a portal. In the TV series Terra Nova the rift in space-time that allows time-travel is a natural phenomenon discovered by scientists working at Fermilab. Hope Plaza, the facility holding the time-portal has two large semicircles in its structure, which is presumably the particle accelerator itself, and in the game Shin Megami Tensei IV, a particle accelerator called Yamato Perpetual Reactor can open portals to alternate worlds. Also in the TV series Stranger Things, an electromagnetic machine is used to open a portal to another dimension and CERN’s LHC is essentially one ginormous electromagnetic machine. Also in the music video Timeless 2013, a singer is shown emerging from a portal identical to CERN’s particle accelerator.

At the end of Season 3 a short clip is shown of Superman reversing time to resurrect Lois Lane. Why choose a clip of Superman reversing time if this is not relevant? This fits with the idea of White Rose’s project being able to manipulate time and space. This idea is also supported by Angela who after meeting with White Rose in Season 3 says that White Rose “opened her eyes” and how things Evil Corp have done, including killing her mother can be “undone”. Angela says to Elliott how “a whole new world will be born” and asks him “What if we could make like none of this ever happened... including what happened to our parents. If we could take it back from the beginning”. This hints at time-manipulation. Angela is also shown obsessively rewinding the TV and saying that all the people who die on TV will be fine, again, hinting at a sort of time-reset There’s also various Back to the Future references throughout the show which probably have significance in light of White Rose’s comments about hacking time. The evidence, in my view, points to White Rose being able to manipulate time and space with the particle accelerator or open a portal to a different point in time and space. Remember what The director of CERN, Bertolucci, was quoted as saying: “The Large Hadron Collider could open a doorway to another dimension, and out this door might come something, or we might send something through it”.

Llama de la Libertad (París)
 La Llama de la Libertad, ofrecida al pueblo francés por donantes de todo el mundo como símbolo de la amistad franco-americana, en la plaza Diana (París).
La Llama de la Libertad (en francés, Flamme de la Liberté) de París es una réplica del mismo tamaño de la nueva llama situada en el extremo de la antorcha que lleva en la mano la Estatua de la Libertad de Nueva York desde 1986.1 El monumento, que tiene aproximadamente 3,5 metros de longitud, es una escultura de una llama de cobre dorado, apoyada en un pedestal de mármol gris y negro. Está situado cerca del extremo norte del puente del Alma, en la plaza Diana, en el distrito 8 de París, Francia.2
Fue ofrecida a la ciudad de París en 1989 por el International Herald Tribune en nombre de los donantes, que habían contribuido aproximadamente 400 000 dólares para su realización. Representaba la culminación de las celebraciones de 1987 del periódico por su cien aniversario de la publicación de un periódico en inglés en París. Más importante, la Llama era una muestra de agradecimiento por la restauración de la Estatua de la Libertad realizada tres años antes por dos empresas francesas que hicieron el trabajo artesanal del proyecto: Métalliers Champenois, que hizo el trabajo del bronce, y Gohard Studios, que aplicó el pan de oro. Aunque el regalo a Francia fue motivado por el centenario del periódico, la Llama de la Libertad es un símbolo más general de la amistad que une los dos países, igual que la Estatua de la Libertad cuando fue regalada a los Estados Unidos por Francia.
Este proyecto fue supervisado por el director de la unión de artesanos franceses en aquel momento, Jacques Graindorge. Propuso la instalación de la Llama de la Libertad en una plaza pública llamada Place des États-Unis en el distrito 16, pero el alcalde de París, Jacques Chirac, se opuso a esto. Tras un prolongado período de negociaciones, se decidió que la alama se situaría en una zona abierta cerca de la intersección de la Avenue de New-York y la Place de l'Alma. El monumento fue inaugurado el 10 de mayo de 1989 por Chirac.
En la base del monumento hay una placa conmemorativa que relata la siguiente historia:
"La Llama de la Libertad. Una réplica exacta de la llama de la Estatua de la Libertad ofrecida al pueblo de Francia por donantes de todo el mundo como símbolo de la amistad franco-americana. Con ocasión del centenario del International Herald Tribune, París 1887-1987."
La llama se convirtió en un monumento no oficial de Diana de Gales después de su muerte en 1997 en el túnel bajo el Pont de l'Alma.3 La llama es una atracción para turistas y seguidores de Diana, quiens pegan pósteres y folletos con material conmemorativo en la base. El antropólogo Guy Lesoeurs dijo que "la mayoría de las personas que vienen aquí piensan que se construyó para ella."2 La plaza del monumento se llama desde entonces Plaza Diana (París).
El monumento está cerca de la estación del Metro de París llamada Alma-Marceau en la línea 9 y de la estación Pont de l’Alma Línea 'C' del RER, así como por los buses número 42, 63, 72, 80, 92, y los autobuses turísticos Balabus.
El 14 de junio de 2008 se inauguró una nueva Llama de la Libertad, una escultura de Jean Cardot, que también simboliza las relaciones cálidas y respetuosas entre Francia y los Estados Unidos. Fue instalada en los jardines de la Embajada de los Estados Unidos en Francia en la Place de la Concorde, y se inauguró en presencia del Presidente de la República Francesa, Nicolas Sarkozy, y el Presidente de los Estados Unidos, George W. Bush. Esta nueva llama es la realización de un impulso compartido por el empresario francés Marc Ladreit de Lacharrière, y el embajador estadounidense Craig Roberts Stapleton, y tiene dos inscripciones, una del francés Marqués de La Fayette y otra del estadista americano Benjamin Franklin.
