In this bunker taken from the enemy on June 6, 1944, the NOIC of the US Navy set up its communications center from June 8 to October 31, 1944. This group of 41 men contributed to the successful landing of 836,000 men, 220,000 vehicles, and 725,000 tons of equipment.
