En función del tipo de corriente empleada, los motores pueden ser de corriente continua y de corriente alterna, y existen distintos tipos de cada uno de ellos.

El Templo de Salomón y la Masonería

La masonería era practicada por los antiguos bajo el nombre de LUX (luz), o su equivalente en los diversos idiomas de la antigüedad. La palabra Masonería viene del término Griego MASOURANEO, que significa “yo estoy en el medio del cielo” aludiendo al Sol.
El verdadero secreto masónico es la regeneración, la re-generación del fuego éterico en el Alma y la creación de una Alma nueva, relevado Por el ritual del tercer Grado, bajo la alegoria de la muerte de Hiram y su resurrección iniciática.
El interés por el conocimiento de la forma o la estructura del templo de Jerusalen es, en realidad, el interés por el conocimiento hermético de Salomón que personifica la sabiduría de la Tradición de todas las edades. De acuerdo con el Talmud recopilación de la tradición oral judía y base de la religión judía ,Salomón era experto en Magias.
También tenía profundos conocimientos de Teurgia y Goecia y era capaz de controlar sus propios demonios internos, obteniendo de ellos buena parte de su sabiduría. En su Claviculas Salomonis o Claves del Rey Salomón trabajo en el que presumiblemente se exponen los secretos mágicos obtenidos por Salomón y empleados por él en la conjuración de espíritus- se arroja luz sobre los rituales iniciáticos masónicos.
El papa Inocencio III reconoce la posibilidad de que se tratara de un mago en el más amplio sentido de la palabra. Hipótesis que basa en las afirmaciones del historiador judío Flavio Josefo, quien hizo especial mención a los trabajos mágicos y dotes sobrenaturales de este rey. Todo lo cual se encuentra asimismo reflejado en muchas tradiciones orientales que subrayan, entre otras muchas, las facultades mágicas de Salomón, como se indica frecuentemente, por ejemplo, le hermetique kabahala. Pero este misterios monarca encierra aún más sorpresas. Así por ejemplo, los alquimistas medievales estaban convencidos de que conocía los secretos de Hermes Trismegisto y que, gracias a ellos, llegó no sólo a multiplicar los metales, sino también a fabricar la piedra filosofal.
Y se dice también que Salomón sabía cómo controlar la "esencia od incorpórea del espíritu universal", conocimiento que lo habría asistido en la construcción del Templo. Por otro lado, y de acuerdo con los antiguos rabinos, Salomón habría sido, paralelamente, un iniciado de las escuelas mistéricas, siendo su templo un lugar de iniciación que. Tanto las gradas como los pilares situados a ambos lados del pórtico, los querubines babilónicos y todo el arreglo de las alcobas indican, de hecho, que el templo habría sido erigido de acuerdo a patrones tomados de Egipto. Michel Lamy nos recuerda en La otra historia de los templarios que Salomón hizo también erigir unos santuarios para unas "divinidades extranjeras".
Consagró en particular unos templos a Astarté, "la abominación de los sidonios" y a Milkom, "el horror de los amonitas". Según el canon místico, siempre han existido sobre la Tierra una serie de hombres santos que han accedido al trato íntimo con la seidad. De ellos, el que alcanza la posición más alta entre sus contemporáneos es el enclave de su época, siendo los demás intermediarios. El enclave es un individuo misterioso que, desconocido y nada conspicuo, se mezcla con la humanidad. Como un dinamo extraño alrededor del cual todo converge, en él se encarna el significado y el espíritu de una edad hasta nuestros días. ¿Pudo ser Salomón el enclave del judaísmo kabalistico ? En el seno de la primera monarquía terrestre se elevó el primer templo a Dios. La Biblia recoge claramente las tradiciones según las cuales fue el propio Gran Arquitecto del Universo -al que identificaban como Dios- quien, en última instancia, ordenaba cuándo, quién y cómo se había de construir el Templo.
Para esta misión, de entre todos los hijos de David Dios elegiría a Salomón: Y así fue. Cuando Salomón quiso alzar el templo, pidió ayuda al rey de Tiro, Hiram, ya que tal edificación requería un arquitecto experimentado en las técnicas y conocedor de la doctrina secreta de los números y de las formas. De ahí que el monarca enviara a Hiram-Abiff el fundidor, para que se hiciera cargo de la sagrada obra. Pero como en todas los hechos acaecidos en épocas remotas, en los que no se sabe muy bien donde termina la historia y donde comienza la leyenda, las circunstancias iniciales no están nada claras. Michel Lamy, en su obra La otra historia de los templarios nos dice que "fue sin duda edificado hacia el año 960 a.C., al menos en su forma primitiva. Salomón, que deseaba construir un templo para mayor gloria de Dios, había establecido unos acuerdos con el rey fenicio, que se había comprometido a proporcionarle madera (de cedro y de ciprés). Éste le enviaría también trabajadores especializados: canteros y carpinteros reclutados en Guebal, donde los propios egipcios tenían por costumbre reclutar a su mano de obra cualificada. El templo se elevó en el monte Moriah y su construcción tardó siete años. Fue uno de los edificios más sagrados que jamás hayan existido en la Tierra. La geometría secreta con la que fue erigido por Hiram había sido heredada por el propio arquitecto, cuyo probable origen es develado por Heckethorne en su libro Las sociedades secretas de todos los tiempos y países. Según Heckethorne, Hiram habría sido descendiente directo de la línea de Caín, lo cual podría explicar la creencia de que el templo había sido realizado por demonios -o elementales- sobre los que tanto Hiram como el propio Salomón ejercían cierto control.
Pero ocurrió que la Reina de Saba se enamoró de Hiram, el arquitecto del templo, éste cayó en desgracia ante los ojos del rey y, finalmente, murió asesinado. Esto no quiere decir que el rey tenga algo que ver con tal asesinato. Sin embargo, antes de morir dijo Hiram que tendría muchos descendientes que completarían su trabajo, es decir, que construirían otros templos humanos. Y, en este sentido, son muchos los estudiosos que están convencidos de que esos descendientes fueron los templarios, ya que ellos mismos se consideraban los arquitectos y custodios de la "ciencia más secreta". De cualquier forma es esta una cuestión muy confusa también, pues dice Michel Lamy al respecto: "El arquitecto Hiram, según la leyenda, murió a manos de unos compañeros celosos a quienes había negado la divulgación de determinados secretos. Como consecuencia de la desaparición de Hiram, Salomón envió a nueve maestros en su busca. Nueve maestros, como los nueve primeros templarios, en busca del arquitecto de los secretos". En aquella época se creía que el Templo de Jerusalén unía el Cielo y la Tierra y que los ritos que allí se desarrollaban reforzaban está asociación; por tanto, cualquier desviación en el servicio del templo podía tener consecuencias catastróficas.
El Templo de Salomón, construido en el siglo X a.C., se convirtió así en algo esencial no sólo para la imaginería religiosa judía, sino también para el simbolismo cristiano en siglos venideros. En el 587-586 a.C. fue arrasado hasta los cimientos por Nabucodonosor. Restaurado alrededor del 500 a.C. por Zorobabel, fue nuevamente destruido, para ser reconstruido una vez más por Herodes "El Grande", no mucho antes del nacimiento de Jesús.
El tercer templo fue abatido finalmente por los romanos en el año 70 d.C., ocupando en la actualidad su antiguo lugar la mezquita de la Cúpula de la Roca, en la Explanada del Templo. Dice Michel Lamy sobre las reliquias que se custodiaban en el Templo: "Si bien la mayor parte de los objetos sagrados habían desaparecido en el momento de las diversas destrucciones, y principalmente durante el saqueo de Jerusalén por Tito, hubo uno que, aún habiéndose volatilizado, no parecía haber sido sacado de allí. Ahora bien, había sido para albergar dicho objeto por lo que Salomón hizo construir el Templo: el Arca de la Alianza que guardaba las Tablas de la Ley.
Una tradición rabínica citada por Rabbí Mannaseh ben Israel (1604-1657) explica que Salomón habría hecho construir un escondrijo debajo del propio Templo, a fin de poner a buen recaudo el Arca en caso de peligro"... Y continúa explicando: "No parece que el Arca hubiera sido robada con ocasión de alguno de los diferentes saqueos o por lo menos, de ser cierto, fue recuperada, según los textos. Su desaparición por medio de un robo habría dejado numerosos rastros, tanto en los textos como en la tradición oral. Louis Charpentier nos recuerda a este respecto: "Cuando Nabucodonosor tomó Jerusalén, no se hace ninguna mención al Arca entre el botín. Hizo quemar el Templo en 587 a.C.".
A Charpentier no le cabe ninguna duda acerca de ello: el Arca permaneció en su sitio, oculta bajo el Templo, y los templarios la descubrieron. Esta es una cuestión en la que entraremos en profundidad cuando tratemos los pormenores de la creación de la Orden del Templo. Según ha escrito Jonathan Smith, recordando antiguas creencias, "la Piedra de la Fundación, como en las construcciones mesopotámicas, es el centro exacto del Cosmos, el eje o polo, y fue sobre esta Piedra donde estuvo Yahvé cuando creó el mundo; de esta Piedra surgió por primera vez la Luz (se entiende que esta luz iluminaba el templo, que fue construido sobre la Piedra y cuyas ventanas estaban diseñadas para dejar salir la luz y no para permitir su entrada); de la superficie de esta Piedra se obtuvo, rascando, polvo para crear a Adán; bajo esta Piedra está enterrado Adán; en esta Piedra ofreció Adán el primer sacrificio; sobre esta Piedra Caín y Abel ofrecieron su fatal sacrificio; de esta Piedra vinieron las aguas del diluvio y bajo esta Piedra recedieron". Se creía, en efecto, que bajo la roca fluían las aguas subterráneas, fuerzas del caos que no cesaban de amenazar con engullir el mundo ordenado. La función del Templo era, supuestamente, mantener a raya a aquellas fuerzas.
Han sido muchos los exégetas que han tratado de reconstruir teóricamente la estructura del Templo. Es el caso del franciscano normando Nicolás de Lyre o el filósofo François Vatable. Incluso el mismo Isaac Newton, subyugado por la magia de la visión de Ezequiel donde se apuntaban las medidas del Templo de Jerusalén, hizo alarde de erudición como teólogo, filósofo, físico y matemático exponiendo sus resultados en Solomon´s Temple. Su intención, dado el carácter simbólico del templo, era conocer su forma para averiguar su significado. Pero ni siquiera un gigante del pensamiento como él, artífice de la Física clásica y de la mecánica celeste, pudo descifrar el mensaje mistérico subyacente en esa misteriosa forma arquitectónica. Y es que la sabiduría que el rey Salomón plasmó en la construcción del Templo parece estar más allá de las mediciones y los cálculos matemáticos. Los que más se han acercado a esa fuente que inspiró a Salomón son los masones, cuyos rituales dejan entrever un conocimiento esotérico milenario comparable al que configuró el Templo.
Como ilustración de esta herencia espiritual, tenemos los pilares de la masonería, las columnas J y B; columnas de sabiduría y rigor del cabalístico Árbol de la Vida-, que corresponden a los pilares del mismo nombre que sostenían al pórtico del Templo de Salomón y que Hiram-Abiff había hecho forjar en bronce. En su tiempo, Salomón fue la personificación de la sabiduría universal, siendo su Templo la "Casa de la Luz Eterna", nombre que algunos exégetas han querido ver en el propio rey: "Sol-om-on". De acuerdo con las enseñanzas mistéricas, hay tres templos de Salomón.
El primero es la "Gran Casa del Universo", en medio de la cual se asienta el Sol, rodeado de sus compañeros artesanos: los doce signos del Zodíaco. Tres luces -la estelar, la solar y la lunar- iluminan este templo cósmico. Acompañado de sus planetas, lunas o asteroides, es Divino se pasea con pompa por las avenidas del espacio. Según esta interpretación, Hiram representaría la luz física activa del Sol, mientras que Salomón simbolizaría su refulgencia intelectual y espiritual, invisible pero todopoderosa. El segundo templo simbólico es la "Mansión" o "Catedral del Alma", una estructura invisible cuya comprensión corresponde única y exclusivamente a un arcano masónico supremo.
El misterio de este edificio intangible está encerrado tras la alegoría del "Soma Psychon" o "traje de boda", como lo describió San Pablo, las "Vestiduras de Gloria" del gran sacerdote . Según esta última interpretación, el alma, creada a partir de una sustancia ígnea invisible, un metal áureo llameante, habría sido introducida por el maestro masón Hiram-Abiff en el molde de barro (el cuerpo físico), conformando el denominado "Mar Fundido". Así, el Templo del alma humana habría sido construido por tres maestros masones que personifican la sabiduría, el amor y el servicio, y sólo cuando esta operación se realiza de acuerdo con la Ley de la Vida, el espíritu de Dios mora en este lugar sagrado. El templo del alma así concebido es la verdadera "Casa Eterna" y sólo quien es capaz de erigirlo de esta manera está considerado como un verdadero maestro masón. Sinusoidal Waveforms
Generation of Sinusoidal Waveforms
In our tutorials about Electromagnetism, we saw how an electric current flowing through a conductor can be used to generate a magnetic field around itself, and also if a single wire conductor is moved or rotated within a stationary magnetic field, an “EMF”, (Electro-Motive Force) will be induced within the conductor due to this movement.
From this tutorial we learnt that a relationship exists between Electricity and Magnetism giving us, as Michael Faraday discovered the effect of “Electromagnetic Induction” and it is this basic principal that electrical machines and generators use to generate a Sinusoidal Waveform for our mains supply.
In the Electromagnetic Induction, tutorial we said that when a single wire conductor moves through a permanent magnetic field thereby cutting its lines of flux, an EMF is induced in it.
However, if the conductor moves in parallel with the magnetic field in the case of points A and B, no lines of flux are cut and no EMF is induced into the conductor, but if the conductor moves at right angles to the magnetic field as in the case of points C and D, the maximum amount of magnetic flux is cut producing the maximum amount of induced EMF.
Also, as the conductor cuts the magnetic field at different angles between points A and C, 0 and 90o the amount of induced EMF will lie somewhere between this zero and maximum value. Then the amount of emf induced within a conductor depends on the angle between the conductor and the magnetic flux as well as the strength of the magnetic field.
An AC generator uses the principal of Faraday’s electromagnetic induction to convert a mechanical energy such as rotation, into electrical energy, a Sinusoidal Waveform. A simple generator consists of a pair of permanent magnets producing a fixed magnetic field between a north and a south pole. Inside this magnetic field is a single rectangular loop of wire that can be rotated around a fixed axis allowing it to cut the magnetic flux at various angles as shown below.
Basic Single Coil AC Generator
As the coil rotates anticlockwise around the central axis which is perpendicular to the magnetic field, the wire loop cuts the lines of magnetic force set up between the north and south poles at different angles as the loop rotates. The amount of induced EMF in the loop at any instant of time is proportional to the angle of rotation of the wire loop.
As this wire loop rotates, electrons in the wire flow in one direction around the loop. Now when the wire loop has rotated past the 180o point and moves across the magnetic lines of force in the opposite direction, the electrons in the wire loop change and flow in the opposite direction. Then the direction of the electron movement determines the polarity of the induced voltage.
So we can see that when the loop or coil physically rotates one complete revolution, or 360o, one full sinusoidal waveform is produced with one cycle of the waveform being produced for each revolution of the coil. As the coil rotates within the magnetic field, the electrical connections are made to the coil by means of carbon brushes and slip-rings which are used to transfer the electrical current induced in the coil.
The amount of EMF induced into a coil cutting the magnetic lines of force is determined by the following three factors.
- • Speed – the speed at which the coil rotates inside the magnetic field.
- • Strength – the strength of the magnetic field.
- • Length – the length of the coil or conductor passing through the magnetic field.
We know that the frequency of a supply is the number of times a cycle appears in one second and that frequency is measured in Hertz. As one cycle of induced emf is produced each full revolution of the coil through a magnetic field comprising of a north and south pole as shown above, if the coil rotates at a constant speed a constant number of cycles will be produced per second giving a constant frequency. So by increasing the speed of rotation of the coil the frequency will also be increased. Therefore, frequency is proportional to the speed of rotation, ( ƒ ∝ Ν ) where Ν = r.p.m.
Also, our simple single coil generator above only has two poles, one north and one south pole, giving just one pair of poles. If we add more magnetic poles to the generator above so that it now has four poles in total, two north and two south, then for each revolution of the coil two cycles will be produced for the same rotational speed. Therefore, frequency is proportional to the number of pairs of magnetic poles, ( ƒ ∝ P ) of the generator where P = is the number of “pairs of poles”.
Then from these two facts we can say that the frequency output from an AC generator is:
Where: Ν is the speed of rotation in r.p.m. P is the number of “pairs of poles” and 60 converts it into seconds.
Instantaneous Voltage
The EMF induced in the coil at any instant of time depends upon the rate or speed at which the coil cuts the lines of magnetic flux between the poles and this is dependant upon the angle of rotation, Theta ( θ ) of the generating device. Because an AC waveform is constantly changing its value or amplitude, the waveform at any instant in time will have a different value from its next instant in time.
For example, the value at 1ms will be different to the value at 1.2ms and so on. These values are known generally as the Instantaneous Values, or Vi Then the instantaneous value of the waveform and also its direction will vary according to the position of the coil within the magnetic field as shown below.
Displacement of a Coil within a Magnetic Field
The instantaneous values of a sinusoidal waveform is given as the “Instantaneous value = Maximum value x sin θ ” and this is generalized by the formula.
Where, Vmax is the maximum voltage induced in the coil and θ = ωt, is the angle of coil rotation.
If we know the maximum or peak value of the waveform, by using the formula above the instantaneous values at various points along the waveform can be calculated. By plotting these values out onto graph paper, a sinusoidal waveform shape can be constructed.
In order to keep things simple we will plot the instantaneous values for the sinusoidal waveform at every 45o of rotation giving us 8 points to plot. Again, to keep it simple we will assume a maximum voltage, VMAX value of 100V. Plotting the instantaneous values at shorter intervals, for example at every 30o (12 points) or 10o (36 points) for example would result in a more accurate sinusoidal waveform construction.

The points on the sinusoidal waveform are obtained by projecting across from the various positions of rotation between 0o and 360o to the ordinate of the waveform that corresponds to the angle, θ and when the wire loop or coil rotates one complete revolution, or 360o, one full waveform is produced.
From the plot of the sinusoidal waveform we can see that when θ is equal to 0o, 180o or 360o, the generated EMF is zero as the coil cuts the minimum amount of lines of flux. But when θ is equal to 90o and 270o the generated EMF is at its maximum value as the maximum amount of flux is cut.
Therefore a sinusoidal waveform has a positive peak at 90o and a negative peak at 270o. Positions B, D, F and H generate a value of EMF corresponding to the formula e = Vmax.sinθ.
Then the waveform shape produced by our simple single loop generator is commonly referred to as a Sine Wave as it is said to be sinusoidal in its shape. This type of waveform is called a sine wave because it is based on the trigonometric sine function used in mathematics, ( x(t) = Amax.sinθ ).
When dealing with sine waves in the time domain and especially current related sine waves the unit of measurement used along the horizontal axis of the waveform can be either time, degrees or radians. In electrical engineering it is more common to use the Radian as the angular measurement of the angle along the horizontal axis rather than degrees. For example, ω = 100 rad/s, or 500 rad/s.
Radians
The Radian, (rad) is defined mathematically as a quadrant of a circle where the distance subtended on the circumference equals the radius (r) of the circle. Since the circumference of a circle is equal to 2π x radius, there must be 2π radians around a 360o circle, so 1 radian = 360o/2π = 57.3o. In electrical engineering the use of radians is very common so it is important to remember the following formula.
Definition of a Radian
Using radians as the unit of measurement for a sinusoidal waveform would give 2π radians for one full cycle of 360o. Then half a sinusoidal waveform must be equal to 1π radians or just π (pi). Then knowing that pi, π is equal to 3.142 or 22÷7, the relationship between degrees and radians for a sinusoidal waveform is given as.

The velocity at which the generator rotates around its central axis determines the frequency of the sinusoidal waveform. As the frequency of the waveform is given as ƒ Hz or cycles per second, the waveform has angular frequency, ω, (Greek letter omega), in radians per second. As frequency is inversely proportional to its time period, ƒ = 1/T we can therefore substitute the frequency quantity in the above equation for the equivalent periodic time quantity and substituting gives us.
The above equation states that for a smaller periodic time of the sinusoidal waveform, the greater must be the angular velocity of the waveform. Likewise in the equation above for the frequency quantity, the higher the frequency the higher the angular velocity.

A sinusoidal waveform is defined as: Vm = 169.8 sin(377t) volts. Calculate the RMS voltage of the waveform, its frequency and the instantaneous value of the voltage after a time of 6ms.

Many of my earlier threads I do admit seemed cryptic. It has become apparent to me that I too am leaving my own encrypted trail to follow. Similar to the ones I have been following. And all roads lead to?  See you in Rome. I'll be thinkin about you and ewe and U. What is the U that I will be pondering in my meditations? I see the U as a receptacle or maybe a plug, a witches cauldron, an alchemy vessel, the Holy Grail or maybe even Mary's womb, the Uterus that was rumored to hold the seed of Jesus Christ. Uterus = U are us. I feel these two pictures below are intimately related. IMHO they reference each other... A clue as to what the Vatican's real mission statement is all about ...   Thus I want to suggest that you, ewe and U, your bodies are the vessels that contain the seeds of change. Hmm And what would those seeds be. DNA gives off an Electro-magnetic field. Not sure if those following this thread have read the above thread about the Rodin Coil? Two things I found interesting about the Rodin Coil. It is very similar to a torus and not surprisingly, the Rodin Coil can again be connected to the KEY 528. The torus has been suggested as a model for the Universe. KEY 528 is obviously a key to a deeper understanding of the universe and the Rodin Coil. IMHO  What is the Rodin Coil?And what exactly can we connect the Rodin Coil to, what it is referencing? Thus as I have claimed KEY 528 is what unlocks the archetypal structure of the scriptures of both Hebrew and Greek Biblical text.

 I want to suggest that the 3 cogs above used in Mayan timekeeping containing 13, 20 and 52 teeth in their circumference, interlocked play a similar role in relationship to each other as the '3' strands of DNA ... and there is a 4th wheel I see ... not sure what that one turns or what it is connected to, anybody want to take a guess? RNA? Replication function?  The 3 strands I refer to are the two ribbons and the middle steps that bridge or form lintels resulting in a spiraling ladder, a double helix of ACGT coding that exists between the two strands, pillars, or ribbons. Please note in the above image one ribbon travels in one direction and is assigned the number 3.The other ribbon travels in the opposite direction and it is assigned the number 5. The middle steps ... if we were to assign the number 4 to the ACGT codes, it soon becomes apparent that we can form a right angle triangle using the numbers 3, 4 and 5. This was a very important step in our evolution... the right angle triangle. And the number 4 travels up the middle between the two pillars. Like in this image where the middle connects the two pillars and travels up the middle.  This image is called the Tree of Life.The mystical ancient Kabbalah is structured on this primary archetype.
