It should be noted that the recovery here of the ancient Egyptian stade has been made possible only very recently by the emergences of the Global Positioning System and Google Earth (see Appendix C). In other words, with data from artificial satellites and radio telemetry. The question of how the builders could position the Horizon Pyramid so very precisely without such aids belongs with that other great mystery – how the Horizon Pyramid was built. The significance of the 30th Parallel in the scheme of things is that it can be geometrically constructed in cross-section, with compasses and straightedge, via a vesica piscis. The three-dimensional analog of the vesica is formed by the overlapping of two equal spheres such that the centre of one lies on the surface of the other, with the 30th Parallel occurring along the intersection of the surfaces.

From here on the latitudes of the apex of the Horizon Pyramid, of the radius of exactly 3⅔ Lunar radii and of the most northerly overhead Moon will be treated as identities of the 30th Parallel. Furthermore, Moon and Earth will be treated as reference spheres whose radii are in the ratio 3:11. And π will be evaluated at 22/7, for by doing all of these things a series of remarkable coincidences will be encountered.

When the disk of the Moon is also enclosed in a square, the first such coincidence is the appearance of Pythagorean {3-4-5} triangles in the geometrical construction resulting from its juxtaposition with the disk of the Earth.

Extending the construction to form a cross-section of the Grand Pyramid, the lengths of the component lines must be multiplied up, in this case by 12 (the sum of 3, 4 and 5), in order to continue expressing them all as whole numbers. This gives a unit exactly equal to 60 English miles, 60 being the product of 3, 4 and 5. Put another way, if the modulus of the diagram shown in Figure 3-22, equal to 1/132nd of the diameter of the Terrestrial reference sphere, the Grand span, is subdivided by the product of 3, 4 and 5 then the result is a unit of length which is exactly equal to a modern English or U.S. mile.

In terms of the Grand span derived in Figure 3-22, the combined diameters of the Terrestrial and Lunar reference spheres is 168. That is also the number of hours in each and every week. Just as the Grand span is exactly divisible into 60 English miles, so the hour is divided into 60 minutes and the number of minutes in every seven-day period is exactly 10,080. Seven days is very roughly the period of a single Lunar quarter.

The radius of the large circle whose circumference is equal to the perimeter of the square around the Earth, taking π (pi) to be 22/7, is 5,040 miles. 5,040 is the product of all the numbers from 1 to 7, written 7! and is known as the factorial of seven.
5,040 = 1 × 2 × 3 × 4 × 5 × 6 × 7 = 7!
The modulus of the diagram shown in Figure 3-21 is 720 miles. 720 is the factorial of six.
720 = 1 × 2 × 3 × 4 × 5 × 6 = 6!
The circumference of the large circle, again taking π = 22/7, is exactly 528 Grand spans, or 31,680 miles, and this is of course equal in length to the perimeter of the square around the Earth, the base of the virtual cosmic Horizon Pyramid whose height is equal to the combined radii of Earth and Moon, or 5,040 miles.

Para celebrarlo, mira esta espectacular fotografía de Orion elevándose sobre la pirámide central de Chichén Itzá, uno de los grandes centros mayas de la península de Yucatán. Conocida también como el Templo de Kukulkán, tiene 30 metros de altura y 55 metros de ancho en la base. Está construida mediante una serie de terrazas cuadradas por la civilización precolombina entre los siglos IX y XII.
La estructura se puede utilizar como un calendario y se caracteriza por las alineaciones astronómicas . De hecho, los mayas eran unos consumados astrónomos y matemáticos. Usaban con precisión los movimientos cíclicos de las estrellas, del Sol, de la Luna y los planetas para medir el tiempo y elaborar calendarios.
Brillan a través de las nubes en esta escena nocturna, las estrellas de la constelación de Orión, El Cazador, representaban una tortuga en el cielo maya. Tak sáamal.

Think of a large tree, we only see half of the tree. We look in amazement and wonderment at the life that is harboured in its branches and the incredible atmospheric processing factory the tree is. We forget that below us is the other half of the tree, its roots providing a harbour for an entire ecosystem, and the roots are an enormous chemical processing plant. In the 90s an ancient oak tree was uncovered as the sea went very far out on the Norfolk coast. It had been buried upside-down within a circle of posts, a woodhenge. Time Team built a replica of it that was most impressive and gave you a strong sense of what the place must have been about. Sacred Geometry of the Moon

The physical dimensions of Earth and Moon reveal astounding geometries. The sacred geometry of the Moon was understood long ago and the ancients hid the esoteric meaning in the dimensions of their monuments and architecture.
The Moon encodes the first two Pythagorean Triples, which are sets of whole numbers that satisfy the equation popularized by Pythagoras that everyone is familiar with.
Pythagorean Theorem
a^squared + b^squared = c^squared
In the book “Taking Measure”, Scott Onstott shows that the point of intersection that defined the amount of full moons in a year (12.369), lies on the perfect fifth (2:3) ratio on the smallest side of the triangle. These numbers also encode esoteric knowledge about the geometric locations of Stonehenge and other sacred sites in England.
He continues:
“In The Lost Science of Measuring the Earth, John Michell and Robin Heath identified a 5:12:13 Pythagorean triangle that forms a greater temple around Stonehenge that I described in Secrets In Plain Sight – Volume 1. Lundy Island is the right angle point of the triangle, with Stonehenge due East, and due north the quarry in the Preseli hills of Wales where the bluestones used in Stonehenge were mined. There are 12 months in the solar year but 13 resonates with the Moon. Most years have 12 full moons but every second or third year has 13. The Moon’s dance with the Sun is complicated. Calculating the date of Easter, which is tied to both the Moon and the Sun, is a kind of calendrical rocket science. The most harmonious interval in any dance is the musical fifth. If this tone is struck it forms a just 3:2 interval. Michell and Heath drew a line from Stonehenge to the 3:2 point on the line between Lundy and Preseli and discovered that not only does it go to a giant 50 menhir on Caldey Island that a priory church is built around, but its proportion measures 12.369 which is the number of full moons in a year (99.99%). This is also the square root of the number 153 (to 5 significant digits), which has esoteric, religious, and architectural significance, see Key Numbers.”
