In Back to the Future III, Doc Brown gives a bit of his family history. He says that his family immigrated from Germany in 1908 and changed their name from Von Braun to Brown during WWI. Vaguely alluding that he’s related to Werner Von Braun, an ex nazi scientist, creator for the US rocket program.

And going into the house, they saw the child with Mary his mother, and they fell down and worshiped him. Then, opening their treasures, they offered him gifts, gold and frankincense and myrrh. (Matthew 2:11, ESV)
