Marco Vitruvio
Marco Vitruvio Polión (en latín Marcus Vitruvius Pollio; c. 80-70 a. C.-15 a. C.) fue unarquitecto, escritor, ingeniero y tratadista romano del siglo I a. C.
Biografía y obra[editar]
Fue arquitecto de Julio César durante su juventud, y al retirarse del servicio entró en la arquitectura civil, siendo de este periodo su única obra conocida, la basílica de Fanum (en Italia). Es el autor del tratado sobre arquitectura más antiguo que se conserva y el único de la Antigüedad clásica, De Architectura, en 10 libros (probablemente escrito entre los años 27 a. C. y 23 a. C.). Inspirada en teóricos helenísticos –se refiere expresamente a inventos del gran Ctesibio–, la obra trata sobre órdenes, materiales, técnicas decorativas, construcción, tipos de edificios,hidráulica, colores, mecánica y gnomónica (Libro IX).
El último libro está dedicado a las máquinas: de tracción, elevadoras de agua y todo tipo de artefactos bélicos (catapultas, ballestas, tortugas, etc.). Vitruvio describió muy bien la rueda hidráulica en el cap. X.5. La rueda de Vitruvio era vertical y el agua la empujaba por abajo; unosengranajes tenían la finalidad de cambiar la dirección del giro y aumentar la velocidad de las muelas; se calcula que con la energía producida por una de estas ruedas se podían moler 150 kg de trigo por hora, mientras que dos esclavos solo molían 7 kg.1
De Architectura, conocido y empleado en la Edad Media, se imprimió por primera vez en Roma en1486, edición del humanista y gramático Fray Giovanni Sulpicio de Veroli, ofreciendo al artista delRenacimiento, imbuido de la admiración por las virtudes de la cultura clásica tan propio de la época, un canal privilegiado mediante el que reproducir las formas arquitectónicas de la antigüedad greco-latina. Posteriormente, se publicó en la mayor parte de los países y todavía hoy constituye una fuente documental insustituible, también por las informaciones que aporta sobre la pintura y la esculturagriegas y romanas.2 El famoso dibujo de Leonardo da Vinci, el Hombre de Vitruvio, sobre las proporciones del hombre está basado en las indicaciones dadas en esta obra. El dibujo se conserva ahora en la Galleria dell'Accademia, en Venecia. El gran redescubridor de Vitruvio fue Petrarca, y tras la difusión por el florentino de la obra de este autor clásico, se puede afirmar que Vitruvio sentó las bases de la arquitectura Renacentista.3
Las imágenes que ilustran la obra de Vitruvio, en sus ediciones hasta el siglo XVIII, no solo aclaran y embellecen el tratado grecorromano, sino que son expresión de distintas intenciones y usos que ese libro ha tenido en la modernidad europea.
De Architectura libri decem (De architectura) de Vitruvio[editar]

Vitruvio es el autor de De architectura, conocido hoy como Los Diez Libros de Arquitectura,4 un tratado escrito en latín y griego antiguo acerca de arquitectura, dedicado al emperador Augusto. En el prefacio del libro I, Vitruvio dedica sus escritos para dar conocimiento personal de la calidad de los edificios al emperador. Probablemente Vitruvio se refiere a la campaña de reparaciones y mejoras públicas de Marco Agripa. Este trabajo es un gran libro y único superviviente de la arquitectura de la antigüedad clásica. Según Petri Liukkonen, este texto "influyó profundamente a los artistas desde el primer Renacimiento en adelante, como a pensadores y arquitectos, entre ellos Leon Battista Alberti (1404-1472), Leonardo da Vinci (1452-1519) y Miguel Ángel (1475-1564)."5 El siguiente libro importante en la arquitectura fue la reformulación de los diez libros de Alberti, que no fue escrito hasta 1452.
Vitruvio es famoso por afirmar en su libro De Architectura que ciertos edificios públicos deben exhibir las tres cualidades de firmitas, utilitas, venustas –es decir, deben ser sólidos, útiles, hermosos–. Estas cualidades a veces se llaman las virtudes de Vitruvio o la Tríada de Vitruvio. Desde el siglo XVII, esta Tríada se usa para describir la arquitectura en general, aunque la descripción vitruviana de la disciplina es muy diferente.
Según Vitruvio, la arquitectura es una imitación de la naturaleza. Como las aves y las abejas construyen sus nidos, los seres humanos construyen vivienda a partir de materiales naturales, que les da refugio contra los elementos. Para el perfeccionamiento de este arte de la construcción, los griegos inventaron los órdenes arquitectónicos: dórico, jónico y corintio. Se les dio un sentido de la proporción, que culminó en la comprensión de las proporciones de la mayor obra de arte: el cuerpo humano. Esto llevó Vitruvio a la definición de un canon del cuerpo humano, el Hombre de Vitruvio, adoptado más tarde por Leonardo da Vinci: el cuerpo humano inscrito en el círculo y el cuadrado (los patrones geométricos fundamentales del orden cósmico).
A Vitruvio se le considera a veces libremente como el primer arquitecto, pero es más exacto describirlo como el primer arquitecto romano que escribió registros de su campo que sobrevivieron. Él mismo cita a obras mayores, pero menos completas. Era al menos un pensador original o tenía el intelecto creativo de un codificador de la práctica arquitectónica existente. También hay que señalar que Vitruvio tenía un alcance mucho más amplio que los arquitectos modernos. Los arquitectos romanos practicaban una amplia variedad de disciplinas; en términos modernos, podrían describirse como la combinación de ingenieros, arquitectos, arquitectos paisajistas, artistas y artesanos. Etimológicamente la palabra arquitecto deriva de las palabras griegas que significan "maestro" y "constructor". El primero de los diez libros se ocupa de muchos temas que ahora entran en el ámbito de la arquitectura del paisaje.
Tecnología romana[editar]
Los Libros VIII, IX y X son la base de gran parte de lo que sabemos acerca de la tecnología romana, ahora aumentados por los estudios arqueológicos de los restos existentes, tales como los molinos de agua en Barbegal, Francia. La otra fuente importante de información es la Historia Naturalis compilada por Plinio el Viejo mucho más tarde en el año 75 de nuestra era.
El trabajo es importante por describir las diferentes máquinas utilizadas para estructuras de ingeniería, tales como montacargas, grúas y poleas, también máquinas de guerra, como catapultas, ballestas y máquinas de asedio. Como ingeniero practicante, Vitruvio debe estar hablando de la experiencia personal en lugar de la simple descripción de las obras de los demás. Asimismo se describe la construcción de relojes de sol y de agua, y el uso de un eolípila (la primera máquina de vapor ) como un experimento para demostrar la naturaleza de los movimientos de aire atmosféricas (viento).
Su descripción de la construcción de un acueducto incluye la forma en que se registran y la cuidadosa elección de los materiales necesarios, aunque Frontino (un general que fue nombrado a fines del Siglo Ipara administrar los numerosos acueductos de Roma) los describiría un siglo más tarde, con mucho más detalle acerca de los problemas prácticos involucrados en la construcción y el mantenimiento. Seguramente el libro de Vitruvio habría sido de gran ayuda en esto. Vitruvio escribió esto en el siglo I a. C., cuando muchos de los mejores acueductos romanos fueron construidos, y que sobreviven hasta nuestros días, como los de Segovia o Pont du Gard. El uso del sifón invertido se describe en detalle, junto con los problemas de altas presiones desarrolladas en la base del tubo del sifón, un problema práctico con el que parece estar familiarizado.
Vitruvio describe muchos diferentes materiales de construcción usados para una amplia variedad de diferentes estructuras, así como detalles tales como pintura estuco. El concreto y la cal reciben profundas descripciones, la longevidad de muchas estructuras romanas que son mudo testimonio de la habilidad de los romanos en los materiales de construcción y diseño.
Vitruvio es muy conocido y citado a menudo como una de las fuentes más antiguas que sobreviven por haber advertido que el plomo no se debe utilizar para conducir el agua potable, recomendando en cambio pipas de arcilla o canales de mampostería. Se llega a esta conclusión en el Libro VIII De Architectura después de la observación empírica de las aparentes enfermedades de los obreros en las fundiciones de plomo de su tiempo.6
Vitruvio fue el que nos relató la famosa historia de Arquímedes y su detección de oro adulterado en una corona real. Cuando Arquímedes se dio cuenta de que el volumen de la corona podría medirse exactamente por el desplazamiento creado en un baño de agua, corrió a la calle con el grito de ¡Eureka!, y el descubrimiento le permitió comparar la densidad de la corona de oro puro. Demostró que el oro de la corona había sido aleado con plata, y el rey había sido defraudado.
Máquinas de desagüe[editar]

Describe la construcción del tornillo de Arquímedes en el Capítulo X (sin mencionar a Arquímedes por su nombre). Era un dispositivo ampliamente utilizado para la elevación de agua para el riego de los campos y desaguar las minas. Otras máquinas de elevación hídrica que menciona son la interminable cadena de cubos y la rueda reversa de drenaje. Estos restos de ruedas de agua empleadas para la elevación de agua fueron descubiertos cuando las antiguas minas fueron reabiertas en río Tinto enEspaña, Rosia Montana en Rumania y Dolaucothi en el oeste de Gales. La rueda de río Tinto se muestra ahora en el Museo Británico, y el espécimen Dolaucothi en el Museo Nacional de Gales.
Instrumentos de topografía[editar]
Vitruvio debe haber sido ducho en el arte del levantamiento topográfico, y esto se demuestra por sus descripciones de instrumentos topográficos, especialmente el nivel de agua o chorobates, que compara favorablemente con el groma, un dispositivo mediante plomadas. Eran esenciales en todas las operaciones de construcción, pero sobre todo en la construcción de acueductos, donde un degradado uniforme era importante para la provisión de un suministro regular de agua sin dañar las paredes del canal. También desarrolló uno de los primerosodómetros, que consta de una rueda de circunferencia conocida que dejaba caer una piedra en un recipiente en cada rotación.
Calefacción central[editar]

Describe muchas innovaciones introducidas en el diseño de edificios para mejorar las condiciones de vida de los habitantes. La más importante de ellas es el desarrollo del hipocausto, un tipo de calefacción central, donde el aire calentado por un fuego era canalizado bajo el suelo y en el interior de las paredes de los baños públicos y villas. Da instrucciones explícitas de cómo diseñar estos edificios para maximizar la eficiencia del combustible, como por ejemplo, el caldarium debe estar al lado deltepidarium seguido del frigidarium. También aconseja sobre el uso de un tipo de regulador para controlar el calor en las habitaciones calientes, un disco de bronce fijado en el techo por debajo de una abertura circular que podría ser elevada o bajada por una polea para ajustar la ventilación. A pesar de que no lo sugiere, es probable que sus dispositivos de desagüe, como la rueda hidráulica de paso inverso, se utilizaran en los baños más grandes para elevar el agua a los tanques de cabecera en la parte superior de las grandes termas, como las Termas de Diocleciano y las de Caracalla.
Redescubrimiento[editar]

- Un pequeño cráter lunar lleva el nombre de Vitruvio y también una montaña lunar alargada, el Mons Vitruvio. Este cráter se encuentra cerca del valle que sirvió como el lugar de aterrizaje de la misión Apolo 17.
- El Indicador de Calidad de Diseño (ICD) es un conjunto de herramientas para medir, evaluar y mejorar la calidad del diseño de los edificios. Utiliza principios de Vitruvio.
- El asistente (voz de Morgan Freeman), líder de los Maestros Constructores en The Lego Movie, se llama Vitruvio.

Studying basic shapes has always being fascinating for me as a part of geometry. There angles, intersections, theories, vector qualities have been so interesting. Even if you start thinking, whole education system revolves around them. From language, to maths, to science, to geography and history. Imagine you describing your newly made friend to your mom – “He is round faced, curly haired, sharp pointed nose…”, so on and so forth. Even the first scenery that maximum of us have drawn has the basic shapes of sun as round, hut as rectangle with triangle roof on top. So, what about writing about my favorite shape today – triangle.
What’s so special about this shape? Nothing much I guess just makes me remember the ice-cream cone filled with all my favorite flavors, or the arrow marks I see every day when boarding the elevator to my office / home. Even the chips have started coming in this shape for a change from that oval or round Pringles and Lays.
Maths fine, but you would say where does language comes as a user of triangle? Hey, the first alphabet you learned in school, “A”… followed by others like “V”, “W”, “X”. Great isn’t it even before we knew what these shapes were we started doodling them as alphabets. And what say if I take your memory a little further back to your toddler age when you tried to make castles with your block building toys / cards. In science just look at the symbols you use from marking a vector (physics), to the table of species according to food they eat… where happily we as humans sit right on top(bio) and organic chemistry bonds of hexagonal shape(hexagonal is a shape made up of basic triangle).
Archaeologically the great Pyramids, the Effile Tower, the Taj Mahal, The Pei pyramid etc are derived from the basic form of triangle. Even the Indian mythology talks about the “Tri-dev” placed in a form of triangle and the fertility symbol is a merger of two triangles.
Let’s see what history has in store for us when we talk of Triangle. We all are aware of the man of all times, with mysteries in his work yet to be solved, Leonardo Da Vinci. Many know him as a fine artist only. But, I consider him as a designer. Will talk about why, in some other blog entry. But for now let’s see how some great works of him just revolved around this basic shape – Triangle. Consider Leonardo Da Vinci’s famous and truly magnificent painting “The Last Super”, the one with various mysteries hidden. All the figures in the painting are actually made into group forming triangle, four triangles formed by the disciples of the Christ and the fifth is the Christ himself making the central triangle, pointing upwards (towards the Almighty). The mystery of triangle formed between Christ and his right hand side disciple is been highlighted in the bestselling novel “DA VINCI CODE” by Dan Brown. His other paintings like Mona Lisa, Madonna of the carnation are also forming triangle. The Vitruvian Man by Da Vinci continues on the same line of forming triangle.
Wait, am I not writing on a design blog… yes. So what’s all this science and old memories doing here? Guess its time to clear this jumble and start talking of design and triangle. So, let me take you again to whom I consider the biggest designer of all times – LEONARDO DA VINCI. The various angles of the triangle formed make’s it possible to make the focus points of the paintings stronger. His balance in each painting and sketch is maintained by the triangle formations by him. The Parachute design by Da Vinci is also a sectional cut of Pyramid (form derived from triangle). What say about the design of so many musical instruments forming the main form as triangle? The forms in many national flags are also made up the same form – Triangle. Even Indian national flag has spokes as we call them, graphically can again be considered as the triangles inserted inside the circle.
Finally the brand identities (my favorite topic), from Volkswagen, Mercedes Benz, FedEx etc many high brands are using the properties of triangle to create confidence in their brands. Our own (India’s) Population control logo used for ages now uses this form to give a complete family feel. The basic words that are easily associated with Triangle shape are: growth, forward, ahead, motion, next, with strong base, mystic, on the top, confident etc.

PHI, METATRON’S CUBE AND THE HOLY NUMBER 108

Greetings World Mystery readers! This article is the second article in a continuing series dealing with sacred number, sacred geometry and gematria. In the last article we took a look at the ancient art of gematria which is the art of assigning numbers to letters, what is known to many as Kabbalah or Cabala, and we deconstructed the English Alphabet using the numbers 1 through 7. We will not be going over the cipher again in this article so please take the time to read the first article in this series to familiarize yourself with the mathematical structure of our English Alphabet before trying to read on. I have spent my entire adult life pursuing an answer for the meaning of this life and have always had an insatiable appetite for trying to understand this existence. I undertook this journey of discovery for many years knowing full well that there might not even be an answer to the big questions we all ask at some point in our lives:
- Why are we here?
- Is there a meaning to life?
- What happens when we die?
- Where did we come from?
- Is there a God?
This pursuit led me into inquiring into many subjects – I have dabbled in physics, theology, philosophy, history, archaeology, astronomy, etc. This yearning to understand the nature of reality and our place in it reached a fever pitch within the last few years and my passion and constant drive to find my own personal truths led me straight into the heart of mathematics and geometry.

I undertook the study of mathematics within the last few years of my life and concentrated on it very heavily because I felt that mathematics held within its workings the answers to many of the mysteries and enormous questions surrounding the nature of our reality. Through immersing myself in mathematics and geometry, I came to understand that mathematics was indeed a language – one that has been shared by all advanced cultures in all epochs of time. After working with simple mathematical principles, mainly adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing, I started to communicate with it, started listening to what it had to tell me and realized that beneath the seemingly insurmountable study of math, the core of its structure was simple, beautiful and held within it the patterns and essence of our creation. Like many, my experience with mathematics in high school was extremely off-putting. Math wasn’t something of cosmic import or something you could adore, appreciate or even, dare I say, have fun with, math was a headache and was something only brainiacs and bookworms pursued.

During my numerical studies I ended up utilizing certain mathematical principles considered highly esoteric and numerological, such as decimal parity or digital root (something we will explore in depth in this article), mirroring numbers and number symbolism. Many contemporaries consider such methods as pseudo-scientific, but by employing these methods the numbers themselves seemed to be transmitting higher realms and orders of information. From where I sat, there seemed to be a whole enchilada of goodies and gems hiding just beneath the surface of number. And due to my inherent inability to “let sleeping dogs lie” If you will, I fully intended to dig up those gleaming bits of wisdom and truth and gaze at their glory.
Let me put my cards on the table, I am an outsider. I am auto-didactic and I learned everything I know about mathematics, geometry and gematria on my own, being highly influenced by many writers and researchers both new and old. The likes of Marko Rodin, Scott Onstott, John Michell, Robin and Richard Heath, Michael S. Schneider, John Anthony West, R.A. Schwaller De lubicz, Laird Scranton, Manly P. Hall and Santos Bonacci, to name just a few, were instrumental in helping me pursue the line of thinking that has led me to the discoveries I have put forth today. I am deeply indebted to these people and many others and without these scholarly heroes making enormous strides in their work, I would not be here writing this blog and putting forth my videos and books. That is a fact.

Coming in through the side door, having no professional experience and having no accreditations from any university has put me in a position to not be taken seriously by contemporary higher institutions of learning, by scientists or by scholars of all sorts – but it has also gifted me the blessing of having a fresh perspective on the world of language and math. My limited experience at the university level taught me that so many institutions of higher learning wish only to regurgitate the paradigm of knowledge accepted at the time. Most modern school systems do wish to push the boundaries or break the molds. Within mathematics, I saw an entire world left to be discovered – unchartered waters that our current system of thought was not willing to even send a little skiff out into. Upon getting my sea legs in mathematics, I in turn found myself getting drenched with the beauty of sacred number and sacred geometry.

My goal in my on-going web series and within my books has been to try to merge mathematics and spirituality and relate them directly to the human being. Self-centered as it may sound, the question that I consistently asked was “What does all this have to do with me?” Through my own personal experience with number, and years of pursuing a personal philosophy and a certain line of thinking, I saw many correlations between theology, mythology, philosophy and the sciences. These subjects didn’t seem like separate entities but rather different aspects of an interwoven whole – a whole that could be intuited, grasped and understood with the magic of numbers. I had no set beliefs going into my pursuit. I wasn’t agnostic, atheist, Christian, Muslim or Jewish. I was not and am not a Freemason, a member of any sort of underground or secret society, I don’t consider myself democrat or republican and I am not specialized in any particular field of research. The only thing I can honestly say is that I was open-minded and discerning about all the information I had accrued and gathered over the years and that mindset turned out to be the most important philosophy I ever undertook in my life.

The Golden Ratio PHI – A Key to Unlock the Heavens and Earth
Within the word philosophy consists of one of the most important mathematical ratios of all known by the ancient Greeks as Phi and Phee (PHI – loso – PHEE). Phi and its counterpart Phee are deemed the Golden Mean, the Golden Proportion and the Golden Ratio. This ratio is the number 1.618 and is the number upon which all of nature performs her balancing act. The word “mean” is defined as “occupying a position between two extremes” and it is within this number that all of nature blooms into magnificence. Through the very word philosophy, our ancestors were trying to guide us in our thinking, informing us that in order to truly pontificate, ponder, ruminate and ultimately understand the workings of our cosmos, one would need to immerse himself in the power of number. Phi was not just some arbitrary number or ratio somehow manifested through mindless chaotic universal construction but a key to unlock the door to certain universal truths within the sacredness of the Heavens and Earth.

The ratio of Phi is understood mathematically as the total length “a + b” is to the length of the longer segment “a” as the length of “a” is to the length of the shorter segment “b”.
 This proportion is expressed on the human body.
From the bottom of your feet to your navel equals 1 and the navel to the top of your head equals .618, making you, the complete man, approximately 1.618. From your elbow to your wrist equals 1 and your wrist to the end of your middle finger equals .618, making your complete arm, roughly 1.618.
This ratio constructs the human temple and is a tool to help one recognize that the human being is indeed a balance or mean between the two extremes of the as above and the so below. You are the central balancing node between the Heavens above and the Earth below. The Golden Mean is a ratio to help establish meaning in your life. It is there to help you understand this world rationally.

By contemplating these two eternal concepts you may just come to the UNDERSTANDING that they balance each other by nothing more and nothing less than yourself.” – Claudia Pavonis
We can find the Golden Ratio within the Fibonacci Sequence. The Fibonacci Sequence is a sequence that was rediscovered in the 13th century by the French mathematician Leonardo of Pisa, also known as Leonardo Fibonacci. The sequence was originally formed to calculate how rabbits multiply when they mate. The series grows accruing terms that come from within itself, taking nothing from outside the sequence of growth. This pattern spirals as it grows to fruition. This spiral pattern is evident all throughout nature: tornadoes, sunflowers, ocean waves and pine cones all form from this fundamental sequence. From the first term, 0 the Fibonacci Sequence grows by simple addition.
By taking a number later in the sequence and dividing it by its predecessor we can find our holy ratio of 1.618. Example: 144 / 89 = 1.618…. Many people nowadays are familiar with the Fibonacci Sequence and this will undoubtedly be a review for many readers. Even if you are not familiar with the sequence, you have surely seen its wonders play out in the world. Even your credit cards and IDs are created by the ratio of Phi.
 We can also find this ratio within the balancing number in our number line, the number 5. The number 5 is the balancing point between the numbers 0 and 10 (or 1 and 9).
 A Pentagram (penta meaning 5) encodes 1.618 as well if we measure the smaller half of one of the arms of the star, it will proportion out to .618 with the larger half being 1. Human beings are constructed using the number 5. We have 5 senses, 5 fingers on each hand, 5 toes on each foot and 5 extensions from our torso. Phi and Phive are intimately linked to the construction of the human being.
The Holy Number 108
In this article, we will be exploring in depth the very holy number 108 and its relationship to the Fibonacci sequence and the number 5. If you notice above, the number 108 is the number of degrees between the top arms of the pentagram. The number 108 is a number that has shown its face time and time again throughout history and is, in the opinion of this author, a key vertex in the archetypal architecture of our creation. What is so important about this number? In both Pi – The Great Work and Pi & The English Alphabet Vol. 1 I highlight some of the many places this number shows its face. They are listed below:
- There are 54 letters in the Sanskrit alphabet, and each has masculine and feminine (shiva and shakti) qualities. 54 times 2 equals 108.
- The Indian Subcontinent rosary, or set of mantra counting, has 108 beads.
- In the Krishna tradition, there were said to be 108 gopis of Krishna
- The radius of the Moon is 1,080 miles.
- The number 108 is used in Islam to refer to God.
- The Chinese Buddhists and Taoists use a 108 bead mala, which is called su-chu, and has 3 dividing beads, so the mala is divided into three parts of 36 each.
- The Sikh tradition has a mala of 108 knots tied in a string of wool, rather than beads.
- There are 9 planets in the Solar System and 12 ages of the Zodiac. 9 x 12 = 108.
- Atman, the human soul or center, goes through 108 stages on the journey.
There are many more examples of where this number 108 shows its face but these few are enough to make us ask the questions;
- Why 108?
- Where did this number come from?
- Why is it so special and consistently seen across the world?
- Why does it seem to be attached to spiritualties such as Sikh, Hinduism, Taoism and Buddhism?
We are going to find this Holy 108 within the spiraling unfolding Fibonacci sequence. It is interesting to note the similarities between the words SPIRitual and SPIRal.
Decimal Parity
In the last article we briefly touched on the ancient numerological practice known as decimal parity. Decimal parity is a method not used in contemporary mathematics but is one that was utilized by mystics, magis, astrologers and spiritual philosophers of the past. Termed decimal parity, digital root, Pythagorean addition, Kabbalistic reduction and Theosophical addition, this technique breaks any number down to the numbers 1 – 9 and in doing so allows one to view not just the quantity, but the quality and essence of a number as well.
The modern approach to math does not allow for such “numeric trickery”. Modern science and mathematics leaves basically no room for interpretation or for a philosophical understanding of number itself. Numbers were not created by man – numbers are the creation of nature and of the divine and the more ways we can understand this natural language, the more we will understand our Earth, our cosmos and ourselves. Simply put, decimal parity gives us another way of speaking the language of God.
So how exactly does decimal parity work?
Decimal parity is simple. No matter how large or complex the number, we can break it down to its decimal or digital root.
For example, let’s look at the number 987,654,321. By combining the individual digits of this number, we can find its digital root by utilizing one of the most basic mathematical principles of all; addition.
9 + 8 + 7 + 6 + 5 + 4 + 3 + 2 + 1 = 45 and 4 + 5 = 9
Therefore the essence, quality or decimal parity equivalent of 987,654,321 is 9.
Let’s try another. Let’s find the decimal parity equivalent of the number 361.
3 + 6 + 1 = 10 and 1 + 0 = 1
Therefore the essence, quality or decimal parity equivalent of 361 is 1.
We can now take this technique over to the Fibonacci sequence to see what this mighty sequence has to offer us. Shown below is the graphic for the breakdown of the Fibonacci sequence but this time with its decimal parity equivalents highlighted in green. Notice 13 now becomes 4, 21 becomes 3, 34 becomes 7, etc.
 If we continue this process out, we will find a repeating string of 24 digits within the Fibonacci Sequence being the following:
(0), 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 4, 3, 7, 1, 8, 9, 8, 8, 7, 6, 4, 1, 5, 6, 2, 8, 1
This pattern of numbers will repeat itself ad infinitum due to the Fibonacci sequence’s self-generated process of growth with the only variation being the first term, or the digit ZERO. The first term in the sequence is a zero in the first cycle but becomes a 9 every cycle thereafter. (0/9) This difference is shown and highlighted below:
First sequence –
(0), 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 4, 3, 7, 1, 8, 9, 8, 8, 7, 6, 4, 1, 5, 6, 2, 8, 1
Every sequence thereafter –
(9), 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 4, 3, 7, 1, 8, 9, 8, 8, 7, 6, 4, 1, 5, 6, 2, 8, 1
We will not be going over the math here due to space constraints but if you would like to see the math, I have it highlighted in my book Pi – The Great Work, page 45. The first 24 numbers of the Fibonacci Sequence – before Decimal Parity reduction are:
0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144, 233, 377, 610, 987, 1597, 2584, 4181, 6765, 10946, 17711, 28657.
With, once again, its decimal parity equivalents being:
(0), 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 4, 3, 7, 1, 8, 9, 8, 8, 7, 6, 4, 1, 5, 6, 2, 8, 1.
If we add these 24 digits up, we find our holy number 108.
0 + 1 + 1 + 2 + 3 + 5 + 8 + 4 + 3 + 7 + 1 + 8 + 9 + 8 + 8 + 7 + 6 + 4 + 1 + 5 + 6 + 2 + 8 + 1 = 108
This sequence has been independently confirmed by several other scholars. Scott Onstott of www.secretsinplainsight.com and Jain of www.jainmathemagics.com have both calculated this sequence. I came to find this through my own studies and it should be noteworthy to the reader that due to the fact that this number shows its face time and time again in many different cultures, we can easily conclude that this sequence has been re-discovered by many seekers throughout the ages. Luckily for our current age, this mathematical jewel is beginning to show its face again from the depths of obscurity, just quite possibly to remind us of the harmonious and simplistic nature in which the divine wishes to speak to us.
Metatron’s Cube
The spiral or spiritual nature of the Fibonacci sequence, as it unfolds, wishes to inform us about the cyclical nature of the cosmos. Planets, stars, galaxies, seasons and even life and death itself are cyclical. Since the Fibonacci sequence wishes to inform us about the power of spirals, let’s wrap this sequence around a circle. In doing this, we can connect our starting number ZERO to the numbers in the sequence divisible by 3 with those being 3, 3, 9, 6 and 6. Notice these numbers are separated by three numbers between them, showing us the power of the Trinity within the Fibonacci sequence. Connecting these numbers, we can actually form what is known as the Seal of Solomon or Star of David. We can also construct what is known in sacred geometry as Metatron’s Cube. Metatron is mentioned in the Pseudepigrapha and most prominently in the Hebrew Merkabah Book of Enoch. The book describes the link between Enoch, son of Jared (great grandfather of Noah) and his transformation into the angel Metatron. His grand title was “the lesser YHWH”.
Metatron’s Cube is a two-dimensional geometric figure created from 13 equal circles. 6 circles are placed in a hexagonal pattern around a central circle with 6 more extending out along the same radial lines. It is 12 spheres around 1, reflecting the 12 hours of a clock as well as Jesus and his 12 disciples and the 12 ages of the zodiac around our sun. Metatron’s Cube is considered one of the most holy of the ancient sacred geometrical symbols and one that encodes the 5 Platonic solids. The Platonic solids are the 5 polygons that can be constructed within a sphere and are named after the Greek philosopher Plato. Metatron’s Cube is directly related to the Holy 108 of Phi as shown below.

But this is not the only place we can find our Holy 108!
We can also use the cipher for the English Alphabet to find three key places in which our holy 108 wishes to show its face. Once again, the cipher is shown below.
Since we are dealing with simple mathematics, we can use our cipher on the four basic mathematical principles everyone is well acquainted with, mainly adding subtracting, multiplying and dividing. When we use the cipher on the phrase “ADD, SUBTRACT, MULTIPLY AND DIVIDE” we find it sums to none other than 108.

Quite interesting but is this merely a coincidence?

It would seem that the number 108 is hiding just beneath the surface of so many important mathematical principles. In the opinion of this author, this is not a coincidence and invariably shows the occult nature of our reality. Occult means hidden and the mystics and spiritually advanced people of the past absolutely understood that lying just below the thin veneer of our everyday reality exists a beautiful matrix of simple number patterns. By “reading between the lines” of number, one is allowed access to the flowing oceanic numeric tides within the mind of God. Even St. John wanted to tell us about this number in his most cryptic verse:
13:18 – Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
Six hundred three score and six translates to the number 666. Using the English cipher, we can find what else was intended, or occulted behind the beastly number 666.

Figure 134 is taken from plate xxiv., fig. 1, of Moor’s Hindu Pantheon.
It represents a subject often depicted by the Hindoos and the Greeks, viz., androgynism, the union of the male and female creators. The technical word is Arddha-Nari. The male on the right side bears the emblems of Siva or Mahadeva, the female on the left those of Parvati or Sacti. The bull and lioness are emblematic of the masculine and feminine powers. The mark on the temple indicates the union of the two; an aureole is seen around the head, as in modern pictures of saints. In this drawing the Ganges rises from the male, the idea being that the stream from Mahadeva is as copious and fertilising as that mighty river. The metaphor here depicted is common in the East, and is precisely the same as that quoted in Num. xxiv. 7, and also from some lost Hebrew book in John vii. 38. It will be noticed, that the Hindoos express androgyneity quite as conspicuously, but generally much less indelicately, than the Grecian artists.

How did I find it?
I had a Thoth thought and did a search of the terms ‘orion’s belt double labrys’ and this was the number one return given.
Hence, perhaps, Snake (Winter), Bull (Spring), Lion/ess (Summer)—and Griffin in some supernatural, transcendent relation at a fourth cosmological point. In these gifts below (which include a jackal’s and goat’s head vessels) from Late Crete to the Egyptian court, pictured in the tomb of Rekhmire (in Evans Palace 2: 535), Bull, Lion/ess and Griffin stand out together, as they will in a much later form (Chapter 9).

We can draw many lines of the rectangles into this figure. Then, there are three distinct sets of Golden Rectangles: Each one set for the head area, the torso, and the legs.
DaVinci named his drawing after Marcus Vitruvius Pollo, who as a 1st century Roman architect that stated ‘the height of a well-proportioned man is equal to the span of his outstretched arms, these two equal measured yield a square which encompasses the whole body, while the hands and feet touch a circle centered upon the navel.”
Vitruvius was a proponent of the ‘Sacred Geometry of Pythagoras’ and designed temples based upon the proportions of the human body.

According to Pythagorian tradition, the circle represents the spiritual realm; the square, material existence, so the human body represented the perfect marriage of matter and spirit, which was is reflected in its proportions. This perfection, wrote Vitruvius, was evidenced by the fact that the extended limbs of a perfectly proportioned human fit into both the circle and the square.
Kenneth Clark in his biography of DaVinci on pg 76 wrote:
“…for if man was the measure of all things, physically perfect man was surely the measure of all beauty, and his proportions must in some way be reducible to mathematical terms and correspond with those abstract perfections, the square, the circle, and the golden section.”
In short, Vitruvian man represents the ‘perfect man.’ The Beast.

The Number 216 is the cube of 6 – the Number God used in the foundation of the Creation Holograph. It is the value of the Davir (Holie of Holies, called the Oracle in the verse above) which God designed as a physical cube of 20 x 20 x 20 cubits:
These identities integrate with the Holiness of the Number 6, which is the Number the Lord God Almighty used to construct the Cosmos (= 600). This is why the “Man of Sin” who sits in the Holy of Holies shewing himself to be God, is marked by the Number 666. It is his attempt to sit in God’s Holy Place.
Further linking this concept together is the fact that the Ark of the Covenant was designed according to the Fibonacci pattern.

In Exodus 25:10, God commands Moses to build the Ark of the Covenant, in which to hold His Covenant with the Israelites, the Ten Commandments, saying,
“Have them make a chest of acacia wood- two and a half cubits long, a cubit and a half wide, and a cubit and a half high.”
The ratio of 2.5 to 1.5 is 1.666…, which is as close to phi (1.618 …) as you can come with such simple numbers and is certainly not visibly different to the eye. The Ark of the Covenant is thus constructed using the Golden Section, or Divine Proportion. This ratio is also the same as 5 to 3, numbers from the Fibonacci series.
In Exodus 27:1-2, we find that the altar God commands Moses to build is based on a variation of the same 5 by 3 theme:
“Build an altar of acacia wood, three cubits high; it is to be square, five cubits long and five cubits wide.”
Note: A cubit is the measure of the forearm below the elbow.
The cubit is based on the Fibonacci pattern/Phi as well.

In light of these identities, we must understand that God Himself is revealing the Number 666 as His own Number which marks the true intent of the the Devil, the Pseudochrist – i.e. False Christ, the true meaning of Antichrist – who would if he could, sit upon God’s Throne in the Holy of Holies, “shewing himself that he is God.”
The Holy of Holies had no light in it at all. The Holy Ark (= 666) – where God said He would meet with Moses – sat in complete darkness. This corresponds exactly with what the Lord said of Himself through the Prophet David in Psalm 18.11:
He made darkness his secret place; his pavilion round about him were dark waters and thick clouds of the skies.
His Secret Place is related to the Temple, in specific the Holy of Holies

In the ark was placed the Word, which also linked to the Fibonacci Spiral. The Scriptures are divided into 66 books, further showing that the number 666 is a counterfeit ‘word.’
