'Metro' means 'meter' in Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, etc. The meter is historically defined as 1/10,000,000 of the distance between the North Pole and the equator through Paris, or in other words the Paris Meridian between the North Pole and the equator. The Paris Meridian is also the 'Rose Line' (an esoteric concept popularized by The Da Vinci Code) i.e. a 'Red Line'...

The History of Earth Measurement in France.
And the marking of the Meridian
GEO - METRY
literally Earth Measurement
The powerful picture shown above shows the essence of our priest’s whole enigmatic saga. This is a view back down what has become to become known as David Wood’s Sunrise Line and was taken from a hill called Mont St Michael; this hill is 666 metres high. In the distance are the mountains of Soularac and St Bartholémy,
If one climbs onto La Tour Magdala as I did on that first day the twin snow capped peaks of St Bartholémy and Pic de Soularac can be clearly seen. These mountains have been sacred for thousands of years as the large numbers of megaliths on their slopes and the number of previously inhabited caves nearby testifies. The official designation for this mountain is St Bartholémy however the locals call this mountain “Montagne de Tabe” Thabor Mount and in a manuscript dated 1350CE it appears as the name “Mountanha die Taba” and this is in the Occitan language. The pronunciation is identical to Tabor and these mountains are a mere 5 miles from the awesome Cathar castle of Montségur. To access these peaks one starts via the La Trou de l’Ours - the Hole of the Bear. A further interesting designation is the other mountain of the twins is Soularac. This is from Soula-rac which is the Occitan language for Rock of the Sun and seems to allude to a pre-Christian and even pre-Roman era frequented by Druidic priests. In Olhagaray (1609) both of these mountains are referred to by the single name Tabor but this particular early mention of the mountain is accompanied by the date which is the night of 23rd to the 24th August which is feast day of St Bartholomew. In Fabre (1639) we find the mention of Montem Tabor and also lacus Sancti-Bartholomaei (Sacred Lake Bartholomew) and Eclesia Bartholomeo Sacrata (Sacred Church Bartholomew) in the same manuscript so it can be assumed that the mountain was known by the name Mount Tabor up until the 17th century with both a church and a lake dedicated to Bartholomew. In the chart of Roussel (1730) speaks of the Mountains of St Berthelmy and Tabe and also of the Etang (pond) of Tabe. Again in 1737 another manuscript speaks of Thabor Mount and S Barthelemi, however the name also referred to the Montagne d’Appy but this may be confusion with a nearby mountain of that name. The mountains are Bartholomew and Soularac initials B and S and the reader is reminded of the phrase on Saunière’s bookplate ‘Trigono Centri Centrum' - The Centre in the triangle of the Centre’. One is also reminded that the initials B.S. are also found above a devil holding some water at the entrance of the church of Saint Marie Madeleine in Rennes le Chateau.
Interestingly Soularac is mentioned in a report of a meridian measurement by the well respected astronomer Delambre in 3 volumes of work from 1806 to 1810 that followed ground measurements in 1797 by Méchain[i1] here it is referred to as Eastern Peak of the Saint-Bartholémy Mount and the “Peak of Estangtost”. Delambre was born in Amiens in 1749 and was an astronomer and mathematician; he was a remarkable man who had a childhood illness which gave him the fear that he would soon go blind. As a result of this he read every book that was available to him and immersed himself in Greek and Latin literature. He also acquired the ability to memorise entire pages and to recite them verbally word for word. He also became fluent in Italian, English and German and even published a book called “Rules and methods to easily learn English.”. However his interest in astronomy is quite relevant to our story and Delambre’s contribution to the science of Astronomy is so great that he has a crater on the moon named after him.
In 1790 the French National Constituent Assembly asked the French Academy of Sciences to introduce a new unit of measurement and they decided on the metre. This is defined as 1/10,000,000 of the distance from the North Pole to the equator and Academy of Sciences prepared to measure the length of the meridian between Dunkerque (Dunkirk) and Barcelona and this portion of the meridian also passes through Paris. In April 1791 the task of placing the meridian was given to Jean-Dominique de Cassini, Adrien Legendre and Pierre Méchain. Cassini was chosen to head the northern expedition but as a royalist he refused to serve under the revolutionary government. On February 15th 1792 Delambre was elected unanimously a member of the French Academy of Sciences and in May 1792, after Cassini’s final refusal Delambre was placed in charge of the Northern expedition, which measured down the meridian from Dunkirk to Rodez. Pierre Méchain headed the southern expedition from Rodez to Barcelona. The measurements were finished by 1798 and the data gathered was presented to an international conference in 1799. Delambre was appointed director of the Paris Observatory after the death of Méchain and he was also appointed a professor of Astronomy at the college de France. Assisted by his wife and his stepson Delambre continued the measurement of baselines and also the latitude survey for the Paris Observatory. In June 1792 it appears that Méchain made a mistake in his calculations to fix the size of the metre and having discovered the mistake his guilt nearly drove him mad and he died in an attempt to correct himself. Delambre discovered the mistake but decided to seal the evidence of the error in a vault at the Paris Observatory and it was only discovered 200 years later.
A clue of the relevance of Delambre to our story besides his mention in his writings of the mountain of Soularac (Solar Rock) can be found in his full name - Jean Baptiste Joseph chevalier Delambre for he was a member of the chivalric Order of Saint Michael (Ordre de Saint-Michel) . This Order is the oldest Royal order of chivalry in France founded by Louis XI on August 1st 1469, It was began in France by Jean Fouquet. The statutes provided that the knights should meet annually on the feast of their patron the Archangel Michael which is of course the 29th September (Michaelmas)[i2] at the chapel of the monastery of Saint Michael off Normandy which has the nearest city of Rennes close by. The British have the Order of Saint Michael and Saint George founded in 1818 and the two orders are not to be confused and have no direct affiliation but do show a common reverence to the same archangel.
Delambre was an exceptional astronomer and mathematician and in 1795 he was admitted to the Bureau des Longitudes, becoming its President in 1800 a year later he was appointed secretary to the Académie des Sciences making him the most powerful figure in science in France. An International Commission for Weights and Measures was set up and Delambre reported his results to it in February 1799. By June of that year, after Méchain had also reported, a definitive platinum bar of length one metre [I A3] was made to become the basis of the metric system. Delambre published details of the whole project in Base du système métrique. The first of the three volumes, containing the history of measurement of the Earth and the project's triangulation data, was published in 1806. When Delambre presented it to Napoleon, the emperor said:
“Conquests will come and go but this work will endure”
In 1809, Napoleon requested that the Académie des Sciences award a prize for the best scientific publication of the decade, the award went to Delambre for his work on the meridian.
The second volume of the work, published in 1807, contained the data for the accurate latitude calculations of Dunkerque and Barcelona. The method of repeated triangulations for calculating the zero meridian is shown here above right and from this work, the length of the metre was fixed as an integer proportion of the earth’s radius. Careful observers will notice however that this line runs through the mountain of Bugarach and through La Cité d’Carcassonne.
However, outside of the village of Rennes les Bains, the Abbé Henry Boudet’s former domain, there stands an old Roman Baths in remarkable condition for its age due to its partial restoration after the Aude Valley floods of 1992. Outside of these baths, we have a plaque placed there in the year 2000 marking the meridian perhaps marking the new millennium. A marker that appears remarkably important to some even to this day.

Predictive Outline of Ideas About the Great Change http://www.greatdreams.com/crop/olgtch/olgtch.htm
Many other ideas have come since 1992, of course. They can be found on the pages of our site.
A major symbol of the divided cycle is the harlot of Babylon in Revelation 17, who corresponds to the Eastern goddess Kali. Babylon, through the Tower story, symbolizes the divisions of mankind. With Kali, it is the scissors she holds in one hand. See:
Tamasisk - Anger - Fury (Kali & The Harlot) http://www.greatdreams.com/anger.htm
This is part of a purification learning process involving karma (or judgment), which is not really a reward/punishment system. The purification is sometimes shown as white garments, washing clothing or dishes (chakras), and cleaning one's house. Kali wears a girdle of severed human hands. As the instruments of our works, this shows the karmic function. The harlot shows the karmic/judgment function in that the kings of the earth (each of us) have to "pay" (karma) for the "fornication" (duality bond) during the time cycle, which is called the Kali Yuga, the Age of Iron. This corresponds to the legs of iron and feet of part iron part clay in the dream of Nebuchadnezzar in the Book of Daniel (Dan 2:31-45).
Karma or judgment is sometimes symbolized by police, courts, lawyers, and judges. It is also symbolized by money, including the use of credit cards. Since the beginning of human history this has been symbolized by systems of weights and measures, as with the balance scales held by the rider of the black horse in Revelation 6:5. My guess is that we or our Higher Selves do the judging.
My personal experience, given in the Pollen Path articles (see link list), indicates that humanity has been on a time cycle path that corresponds to the chakra levels. We are apparently near the three and a half midpoint and a leap to the fourth-heart chakra level of consciousness evolution. The leap is preceded by a period of stress. The key verse is Revelation 11:11, where the two trees stand up after three days and a half of being dead.
----
Lion Kings - Conscious Co-Creators
A big message at this time is to go by one's own internal guidance rather than depend on outside "authorities." This seems to be part of the "Lion King" symbolism. Revelation 3:11 speaks of being careful to hold on to what you have, so that no one may seize your crown. The verses of Isaiah 65:17 and 65:21-22 indicate that when the new heavens and new earth are created, we will build our own (belief) houses and plant our own vineyards and eat their fruit (food for thought).
We have some information about the "Lion King" type of symbolism on this page:
Dreams and Visions of Cats, Kittens, and Other Felines http://www.greatdreams.com/cats/cats.htm
Note the part about "Conscious Co-Creators."
My guess is that worries are unfounded. A person can just lead their life "normally" and not pursue answers. I don't see that this would result in negative karma or the like. A dream suggested that "awards" are given at the end of the stage play. The rewards seems to be for symbolically grasping a share of the Tree of Life, helping to unravel the greatest mysteries of all time, for the benefit of mankind.

Often attracting formations within its environs, the Kennet Longbarrow is the largest barrow in England, and the ground plan of its chambers resembles a pregnant squatting goddess. The principle function of the barrow was to provide a womb, in which the dead could be reborn. With its message of entering the light, the Beltane Wheel perfectly echoed rebirth.

¿Perséfone anterior a Grecia?[editar]

Pie (unidad)
4000800000/1296000=
4 000 800 000 / 1296 000= 3087.03703704
EFECTIVAMENTE 100 PIES APROXIMADAMENTE EQUIVALEN A UN SEGUNDO SEXAGESIMAL DEL MERIDIANO TERRESTRE. EL PIE GRIEGO ERA MUY APROXIMADO A 30.8 CM.

DC Metro Red Line = French/Columbian Rose Line
...traditionally implying the Blood Royal/Sangraal or the Marian/Columbian Bloodline of the Holy Grail.
In Bloodline of the Holy Grail Laurence Gardner writes of the House of Stuart, the royal bloodline to which Princess Diana and her children belong (pp. 344-5):

Metric Time
Aside from you chronically late people, we all know how time works:

This system is okay. But also, it’s kind of crazy.
Why 60 minutes per hour? Why 60 seconds per minute? It goes back to Babylon, with their base 60 number system—the same heritage that gives us 360 degrees in a circle. Now, that’s all well and good for Babylon 5 fans, but our society isn’t base-60. It’s base-10. Shouldn’t our system of measuring time reflect that?
So ring the bells, beat the drums, and summon the presidential candidates to “weigh in,” because I hereby give you… metric time.

Now, this represents a bit of a change. The new seconds are a bit shorter. The new minutes are a bit longer. And the new hours are quite different—nearly two and a half times as long.

So why do this? Because it’d be so much easier to talk about time!
Here’s one improvement: analog clocks are easier to read. At first glance, the improvement may not be so obvious—we’ve simply reshuffled the numbers a bit.

But notice, the minute hand makes more sense now. When it’s at the 2, we’re 20 minutes past the hour. When it’s at the 7, we’re 70 minutes after the hour. And so on.

Second, times are no longer duplicated. For example, instead of needing to distinguish between 6am and 6pm, we can simply say “2:50” and “7:50.” (This is, of course, how “military time” currently works.)
Third—this is a big one—the time tells you how far through the day you are. The time 2:00 is exactly 20% of the way through the day. At 8:76, we’re exactly 87.6% of the way through the day.

Fourth, consider the moment when we’re 99.9% of the way through the day. In the new metric system, we get to watch the clock roll from 9:99 back around to 0:00. Isn’t that nicer and more conclusive than 11:59pm rolling around to 12:00am?
Fifth, it’s so much easier to talk about longer times. Two and a half days? That’s 25 hours. Three days and 6 hours? That’s simply 3.6 days. Since an hour is now a nice decimal fraction of a day, these conversions become easy.
Will there be adjustments to make? Certainly! But the adjustments are half of the fun.
Let’s start, as all good things do, with television. Whether you enjoy half-hour sitcoms or hour-long dramas, the length of your favorite shows is probably going to change. Why? Because, under our new system, what we now call “half an hour” will be 20.83 minutes. What we now call “an hour” will be 41.67.

There’s nothing magical about these “half-hour” and “hour” lengths, obviously. They were chosen simply because they were nice round numbers. But under the new system, they aren’t! Since it’d be silly to divide the TV schedule into 21-minute intervals, presumably television networks would tweak the lengths to go more evenly into an hour.
If so, they’d have two choices: 5 blocks per hour (i.e., two dramas, plus a sitcom), or 4 blocks per hour (i.e., two dramas).
If you choose the former, shows will be 4% shorter than today, leading to accelerated storytelling. (It’s the same change that’s unfolded over the last 20 years, as increased ad time has squeezed the shows themselves to be shorter.)

And if you choose the latter, shows will be 20% longer. They’ll perhaps unfold at a slower, more cinematic speed. Either way, expect the pacing and rhythm of TV shows to change.
Sports run into the same issue. Football will probably opt for four quarters of 10 minutes each, which shortens the game by 4%. Expect slightly diminished scoring as a result. (And, if we’re lucky, diminished concussions.)

Hockey, meanwhile, might go for three periods of 15 minutes each, which actually makes the game 8% longer. It might give someone a chance to tackle Wayne Gretzky’s scoring records (but then again, probably not—he’s way out of reach right now).

I’d expect soccer to select two halves of 30 minutes each, which (as with American football) shortens games by 4%. If you thought soccer was too high-scoring already, you’re in luck (and also in a very small minority, I suspect).

When it comes to sports, the lengths of games won’t be the only thing changing. We also need to reconsider record running times.
Usain Bolt’s world-record for the 100-meter dash (currently 9.58 seconds) would be, under the new system, 11.09 metric seconds. Doing the 100m in 11 metric seconds might be achievable in the future, but 10 seconds? Perhaps never. (That’s the equivalent of 8.64 of our seconds!)
What about the mile? Well, it’s a little funny to imagine a world with metric time still worrying about that strange unit of distance (5280 feet? Really?), but the famed 4-minute mile would correspond to a 2.78-minute mile.
This is weird because, for top runners in the 1940s and 1950s, the barrier to running a 4-minute mile may have been less physiological than psychological. Would the 2.8-minute mile have felt as intimidating? Would the 3-minute mile? Perhaps it’d be the 2.5-minute mile, seeing as the current world record (3:43 in our old system) is 2.58 metric minutes?

And we might as well mention the marathon, where the world record time (currently 2:02:57) is now under an hour: 85 minutes, 38 seconds. I suspect that the 1-hour marathon would be a real badge of honor, something that every distance runner aspires to.
Leaving sports aside, what about food?
Restaurants would open for breakfast at perhaps 3:00 or 3:50. (Of course, coffee shops like Starbucks might open as early as 2:50.)
You’d get lunch around 5:00—that is to say, noon. Under our current system, I feel silly eating before 11:30, which is 4:80 under the new system. But I wonder—would I feel comfortable grabbing lunch at 4:75? Perhaps even 4:60 (even though that’s earlier than 11am under our current scheme)?

Eating is psychological, and how we number our hours might steer our behavior.
As for dinner, I suspect 7:50 to 8:00 would be the preferred time (although the famously late-eating Spaniards might hold off until 8:75 or 9:00).
Other numbers change, too. Take speed limits: the typical 65mph limit on many highways translates to 156 mph under the new system; I suspect we’d see that bumped up to 160 mph or down to 150 mph for the sake of roundness (which translates to 66.7mph or 62.5mph under our current system).

The speed of sound? Not 340 meters per second any longer; it’s now just 294 meters per second. Meters haven’t changed, of course, but seconds have gotten shorter!
And the speed of light? Unfortunately, we lose the lovely number 300 million meters per second; instead, it becomes roughly 260 million meters per second.
Speaking of light, on the equinox, you get 5 hours of light and 5 hours of dark.
The winter solstice is pretty grim: in London, you’d see just 3 hours, 25 minutes, and 25 seconds of daylight.
The summer solstice is nice, though: London would get 6 hours, 93 minutes of sun.

Okay, time to come clean: I propose this without a single iota of seriousness. It’d be insane to ditch our current system. We’re used to it. We’ve agreed upon it. We’ve built our lives around it. The hassle of a change far outweighs the gains.
But I still love the thought experiment. It asks you, in some small way, to reimagine your life. How do you spend your time? How do you measure the success of a day? When you plan your hours, are you conceding to the arbitrary dictates of a quirky clock, or are you truly giving your tasks the time that they deserve? If I scrambled your sense of time, relabeling all your moments, would it change the way you feel about them? Do the numbers we assign to times matter? Or are we just scratching lines on the shifting dunes of eternity?
