On Diego Maradona's 'Hand Of God' Goal, Pope Francis Asked Him This

Pope Francis, at 87 increasingly weak and wobbly, takes a trip down memory lane and speaks of his hopes for the Roman Catholic Church's future in a new book reflecting on his life and its intersection with major world events.
"Life - My Story Through History," a memoir written with Italian journalist Fabio Marchese Ragona and published by HarperCollins, goes on sale on March 19, the 11th anniversary of Francis' installation as the first Latin American pope.
While offering little that is new, the 230-page book is a breezy, conversational-style read starting with his childhood in Buenos Aires to today.
It is punctuated by events including World War Two, the Holocaust, the Cold War, the 1969 Moon landing, the 1989 fall of the Berlin Wall, the September 11, 2001 attacks and the resignation of Pope Benedict XVI in 2013.
Francis, whose health recently has shown signs of strain with successive bouts of bronchitis, a spate of hospital stays and difficulty walking, repeats that he has no intention of resigning like his predecessor unless "a serious physical impediment were to arise".
He jokes that while some of his conservative critics "may have hoped" he would have announced a resignation after a hospital stay, there is little or no risk of it because "there are many projects to bring to fruition, God willing".
He again defends his recent decision to allow blessings for people in same-sex relationships, reiterating that they are not blessings for the union itself but of individuals "who seek the Lord but are rejected or persecuted".
The Church, he says, does "not have the power to change the sacraments created by the Lord" and that "this (the blessings) does not mean that the Church is in favour of same-sex marriage".
Hoping For An Embracing Church
Addressing the controversy about the recent ruling, he says: "I imagine a mother Church that embraces and welcomes everyone, even those who feel they are in the wrong and have been judged by us in the past".
Francis writes that even if some bishops refuse to offer blessings for those in same-sex relationships, as in Africa, "it doesn't mean that this is the antechamber to schism, because the Church's doctrine is not brought into question".
Throughout the book he leans on historical events as backdrops to make appeals relating to current, sometimes similar, situations.
Speaking of World War Two, he writes that still today "Jews continue to be stereotyped and persecuted. This is not Christian; it's not even human. When will we understand that these are our brothers and sisters?"
In recalling when he first heard of the atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan at the end of the war, he writes: "The use of atomic energy for purposes of war is a crime against humanity, against human dignity, and against any possibility of a future in our shared home."
Reflecting on the Sept. 11 attacks on the United States by Islamists, Francis says, "It is blasphemous to use the name of God to justify slaughter, murder, terrorist attack, the persecution of individuals and entire populations - as some still do. Nobody can invoke the name of the Lord to wreak evil."
The pope dismisses as "fantasy, obviously invented", recent reports by conservative American Catholic media that he would change the rules of conclaves to allow nuns and lay people to enter conclaves to choose future popes.
On the lighter side, Francis speaks of the controversial "Hand of God" goal by compatriot Diego Maradona in Argentina's 1986 World Cup quarter-final against England, which the referee allowed as he did not have a clear view showing that Maradona had used his hand.
Years later, when Maradona visited the pope at the Vatican, "I asked him, jokingly, 'So, which is the guilty hand?'" Francis writes.

'Metro' means 'meter' in Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, etc. The meter is historically defined as 1/10,000,000 of the distance between the North Pole and the equator through Paris, or in other words the Paris Meridian between the North Pole and the equator. The Paris Meridian is also the 'Rose Line' (an esoteric concept popularized by The Da Vinci Code) i.e. a 'Red Line'...

Was Princess Diana a product of a particularly special strain of the Grail bloodline and the Stuart bloodline? Perhaps (argued for instance in Princess Diana: The Hidden Evidence). But that's speculative and should be treated as a storyline rather than fact. It may well be that the name 'Diana' was all it took to make her 'special' in the esoteric context of Grail symbolism.
Also interesting, Google Earth’s historical satellite pictures have shown that the monolith has been there since 2016. The monolith was in effect patiently waiting for years to be discovered at the “right time”.
Some people have already gone to the site using the coordinates yesterday and are apparently disappointed to discover that it looks more man-made than alien, as if that was the only issue.

First, the summer of 2001 was, like in 2003, marked by a Martian close encounter. It was during June, instead of August, that the Mars 'flyby' took place. Not as spectacular as that of 2003, but the Red Planet was a prominent light in the night sky. On June 13-14 (2001), Mars was at 'opposition' (i.e. 180 degrees away from the Sun) and it made its closest approach to Earth several days later on June 21.

On the same day, June 21, there was a total solar eclipse - as if to commemorate the Martian visit. In fact, June 21 was even the day of summer solstice (midsummer)!
So, while not as historic, the 2001 Mars opposition closely preceding the events of 9/11 was spectacular - or in hindsight 'ominous' - in its own way.
It still 'missed' 9/11 by about 3 months... Actually, it did not miss. It hit the bull's-eye perfectly - in a coded form:
September 11 Gregorian corresponds to 'Thoth 1' (New Year's Day) of the Egyptian calendar which was originally marked by the heliacal/dawn rising of Sirius. In the early phase of the ancient Egyptian civilization the Sirius rising (accompanied by the annual Nile flood) coincided with the summer solstice. It was a 'magical' day that the Egyptians naturally used to anchor their calendar. So by highlighting June 21 (i.e. Gregorian summer solstice), the special Mars opposition event in 2001 conceptually pinpointed September 11, the historical/Egyptian summer-solstice date!
On 9/11, there was another remarkable combination of summer solstice, Mars, and the Moon (i.e. all the key players of the June 21 alignment except the Sun). As the earthshaking events of 9/11 were unfolding on the planet, up in the heavens was observed the following configuration: 1) the Moon was at the summer-solstice point (i.e. where the Sun would be on the midsummer day); 2) Mars was positioned exactly 180 degrees away from the Moon on the opposite side of the sky, closely marking the winter-solstice point; and 3) consequently there was a tight Mars-Earth-Moon alignment bridging the two solstice points!
As the above illustrations show, the solstice points today are neatly indicated by the intersections of the apparent path of the Sun ('ecliptic', green line) and the Milky Way ('galactic equator', blue band). This arrangement is coincidental/temporary and is thus astronomically quite special. Some view these points as something akin to 'stargates'.
Now, the prophetic quality of all this dramatically increases as we progress forward (from 9/11/01). Mars opposition occurs approximately every 26 months, so the Sun-Earth-Mars alignment would be established again in the summer of 2003 - specifically on Aug. 28. As already discussed, it seemed to have 'anticipated' the 'Martian' event of Schwarzenegger entering politics on August 6. The same type of code was used here since Aug. 6 is or represents the actual day on which Sirius' heliacal rising occurs in our epoch. Through Sirius, June 21, Sept. 11, and Aug. 6 are but different expressions of the same archetypal date!
This calendrical link is reinforced by one of Schwarzenegger's nicknames being 'The Oak'. In pagan tradition, the 'Oak King' is associated with midsummer which is also reflected in the fact that the Christian version of the Oak King, John the Baptist, has his feast day on June 24, intended to mark the summer solstice (~June 21).
Similarly, Jesus Christ's birthday is celebrated on Christmas in mid-December to mark the winter solstice. The summer and winter solstices represent two opposite calendrical/spatial points. This makes John the Baptist (Oak King) the anti-Jesus, or 'anti-Christ'. Hence Schwarzenegger 'The Oak', whose political rise on Aug. 6 was marked by the Sirius rising associated with midsummer, would also share the ominous epithet. And why not, he's already the 'Terminator'... after all.
A character in the scriptures that would best fit the description is Mary Magdalene - an enigmatic female companion, or quite likely the lover/wife, of Jesus Christ. Although Mary Magdalene is never described as a prostitute in the New Testament, it has been the prevalent view that she was. Chances are, though, the Magdalene is to be considered a 'whore' only in the symbolic sense that she was a version of the ancient Egyptian goddess par excellence, Isis, the wife-sister of Osiris, who was both a 'virgin' and a 'whore' as well as a goddess of wisdom and magic. (Isis' companion Osiris was killed and later resurrected to nicely parallel the Magdalene's companion, Jesus.) Isis, in turn, was represented in the sky by the great star Sirius -- a star of utmost importance to the ancient Egyptians as its 'rebirth' (i.e. 'heliacal rising') in mid-summer had the function of marking the New Year and signaling the beginning of the life-giving annual flooding of the Nile, roughly coinciding with the summer solstice.
