Hi, I've just joined and wanted to tell you about a book that's really worth buying if you're into Pink Floyd, Dave Gilmour or Syd Barrett's music. It's a very good compilation of every lyric for what seems every song ever produced.
I counted 575 tracks and with one track per page it's easy to read and find any track by name or album using the bookmarks on the Acrobat PDF. Whilst they are all freely available on the net, this book really is worth buying to follow the words when playing the music. I thought I knew most of the words but found I only knew bits of each track and using this book has made the songs even more enjoyable cos you really appreciate how moving the lyrics are and the writing brilliance of Pink Floyd & Co.
The foreword is also very moving. The author it seems suffered a breakdown identical to Syd but is now in recovery and has devoted 3 years to writing this book.
It costs 짙6.00 (UK) and arrived in my email within 10 minutes of placing my order and at least 짙2 from every copy goes to a charity who it seems helped the guy through his breakdown and a chronic illness he suffers.
I know this reads like an advert which is not intended but being MadOnFloyd, it's well worth buying and highly recommended. The link to read more about it is: http://www.mp3sugar.co.uk/pinkfloyd.html
