India: Floodwaters at Ganjam district

People from a nearby village carry their belongings through floodwaters at Ganjam district in the eastern Indian state of Odisha. The flood situation in India´s Andhra Pradesh and Odisha states worsened on Saturday with thousands being evacuated from low-lying areas after days of torrential rains. At least 45 people have died in the two states since heavy rains began early this week, local media reported.
