Se acerca la Navidad y todas las que somos amantes de las coronas navideñas nos sentimos poseídas por una especie de delirio de querer hacer en casa todos y cada uno de estos adornos extraordinarios. Este trabajo es el remedio contra ese mal, pues de forma sencilla y con pocos elementos podemos construir una preciosa corona para colgar en la puerta del frente o sobre una puerta interior. Presta atención al sencillísimo procedimiento para armar en casa una corona con barbas de maíz.
Estuve pensando en que si vives en un país donde no es muy usual encontrar coronas o insumos para fabricarlas, quizás se te dificulte el conseguir la base redonda necesaria para armarla, como verás en los materiales detallados a continuación. La opción que te sugiero es fabricarla con telgopor y voy a indicarte en el siguiente paso a paso cómo puedes hacerla.
Materiales:
Una corona de espuma verde de florista ó
una plancha de tergopol de 3 cm.
Alfileres
Hojas de maíz
Almohadilla (opcional)
Tinta color café (opcional)
Paso a paso:
La última capa envuélvela hacia adentro tal como lo ves en la imagen de la corona finalizada. Con la almohadilla y la tinta café puedes pintar algunas puntas para darle un efecto envejecido.
Para armar la base con tergopol primero dibuja dos círculos en la superficie utilizando un marcador y dos objetos redondos que utilizarás como plantilla. Calienta al rojo un cuchillo, insértalo de punta sobre el tergopol un poco afuera del círculo dibujado (el tergopol se desintegra muy rápidamente) y corta todo el contorno. Es recomendable que practiques cortando primero otros trozos de tergopol para tener en cuenta la presión y la rapidez con la cual debes hacer este trabajo. Al terminar de cortar empareja los bordes de la misma forma.
