@ SHIRDI SAI TEMPLE`CHANDIGARH

On Monday 30th May`2011,
the Shirdi Sai Samaj`Chandigarh offered a Gold Crown to Sai Baba @ the Sai Baba Temple`Chandigarh.
The Crown made of 1,136 grams of Gold and 477 grams of precious stones is valued at Rs.27 lakhs.
This Precious Crown has been specially designed in Australia and made by a famous Jeweler in Mumbai.
It happens to be the first of its kind in any Shirdi Sai Baba Temple in the world.

The Crown was offered during the Shringar Arati.
Devotees and the Temple management took part in the pujan performed before offering this Gold Crown to Baba.

This Gold Crown made out of donations offered by devotees visiting the temple,
is the second Gold Crown offered in this Shirdi Sai Mandir @ Chandigarh.
Earlier an unidentified girl had offered a Gold Crown three months ago.

- Temple History -
The land for the beautiful Shirdi Sai Baba temple was allotted in the year 1989.
Sai Baba's Idol was originally brought from Jaipur.
Thereafter it was taken to Shirdi for due worship & pooja and finally brought to Chandigarh.
The Swaroop Sthapna ceremony was conducted on 06th December 1995.
