- SHIRDI'S FIRST GOLD & DIAMOND STUDDED SHAWL OFFERED TO SAI BABA -

On Sunday 12th June`2011, a Sai devotee from Pune`Maharashtra donated a Diamond Studded Shawl to Sai Baba @ Shirdi.
The 2.5 metre-long Shawl is decorated with 1¼ Kg of pure Gold Mesh work apart from being studded with American Diamonds.
Worth around Rs 25.20 lakh, this is the first time when a Shawl, interspersed with Gold & Diamond was offered to Sai Baba @ Shirdi.
This beautifully decorated Shawl was prepared in Jaipur`Rajasthan (India)
by artisans who worked hard for 3 months to complete the work on it.
This Shawl, offered after the Madhyana Aarti,
was immediately placed on Baba's Samadhi after adorning Baba's Idol for some time.
The devotee who has requested anonymity,
said that Baba had fulfilled his wishes and so he has made this offering to him as an act of gratitude.
After Darshan, this Devotee from Pune was felicitated with an Marble Idol of Sai Baba by the Sai Sansthan Trust.
