Its amazing to acknowledge His leela every single day when from no where I come across a temple which makes me believe in His presence. These beautiful temples have their own sacred stories assuring me that we human beings will come and go from this earth but the Devotion and His Divinity is there to stay forever..... I have a kind request to all of you who read these mails that if you ever get lucky and are able to visit these temples in reality- Plz do offer my Humble Pranams at these temples and thank the lord on my behalf for making us all feel his presence and His leelas around us..
Sai bhakt,

Today is Hanuman Jayanti – April 6, 2012 – the birthday of Sri Hanuman and it is observed on the full moon day in the month of Chaitra in many parts of India. In Hinduism, Hanuman is the perfect manifestation of devotion, humility, discipline, strength and selfless service. He is the one who has conquered the senses and ego. He is the ideal living being.
An idol of Anjani Mata, having son Hanuman in her lap in the Anjani Mata temple, Chomu
Hanuman was born to Anjana, a female vanara, and Kesari, a male vanara, in Anjana Giri mountain. His mother was an apsara who was born on Earth as a female vanara due to a curse. She would be redeemed from this curse on her giving birth to an incarnation of Lord Shiva, who is also known as Rudra, and endowed with the Supreme Power of exalted devotion to Bhagwan Hari. Hanuman is endowed with 28 transcendental divine opulences, with perfection in each. Anjana, along with her husband Kesari, performed intense prayers to Lord Shiva to beget Him as her Child. Pleased with their devotion, Shiva granted them the boon they sought. Hence, Hanuman is also known as "Maharudra" because he was born of the boon given to Anjana by Shiva.

Several different traditions account for Hanuman's birth. One is that at the time that Anjana was worshipping Lord Shiva, elsewhere, Dasharatha, the king of Ayodhya, was performing the Putrakama Yagna in order to have children. As a result, he received some sacred pudding, payasam, to be shared by his three wives, leading to the births of Rama, Lakshmana, Bharata, and Shatrughna. By divine ordinance, a kite snatched a fragment of that pudding and dropped it while flying over the forest where Anjana was engaged in worship. Vayu, the Hindu deity of the wind, delivered the falling pudding to the outstretched hands of Anjana, who consumed it. Hanuman was born to her as a result.
Hanuman, in one interpretation, is the incarnation or reflection of Shiva. Other interpretations, such as that of Dvaita, consider Hanuman to be the son of, or a manifestation of, Vayu, god of wind.
Another story of Hanuman's origins is derived from the Vishnu Purana and Naradeya Purana. Narada, infatuated with a princess, went to his God Lord Vishnu, to make him look like Sri Vishnu, so that the princess would garland him at Swayamvara. He asked for a Hari-Mukh. Hari is the name of Lord Vishnu and Mukh means face. But Vishnu instead bestowed him with the face of a monkey. Unaware of this, Narada went to the princess, who burst into laughter at the sight of his monkey face before all the king's court. Narada, unable to bear the humiliation, cursed Vishnu, that Vishnu would one day be dependent upon a vanara. Vishnu replied that what he had done was for Narada's own good, as he would have undermined his own powers if he were to enter matrimony. Vishnu also noted that Narada's request for Hari has the dual Sanskrit meaning of vanara. Upon hearing this, Narada repented for cursing his idol. But Vishnu told him not repent as the curse would act as a boon, for it would lead to the birth of Hanuman, an avatar of Shiva, without whose help Rama (Vishnu's avatar) could not kill Ravana. Since there are two distinct sects in Hinduism, Shaivas and Vaishnavas. some believe that the story that Hanuman is an avatar of Shiva might have come to link both the sects in harmony.
Built in 11th Centry AD Karmanghat Hanuman Temple is one of the marvelous temple of Lord Hanuman which is eight and half centuries old historic temple. No doubt that it’s one of the oldest temples in Hyderabad.

There is a beautiful story behind the construction of Karmanghat temple which shows the power of Lord Hanuman. Once a Kakatiya king was in forest for hunting as his hobby and when he was on rest under a tree, he heard loud chanting of Lord Rama’s name. It was shell-shocked to see the voice coming from the vigraha of Lord Hanuman sited in posture position. With great respect he took the blessing of Lord Hanuman and returned to his kingdom. On that night Lord appeared in his dreams and asked him to construct a temple at that place.

The karmanghat temple was constructed in 11th Century AD and when Aurangazeb sent out troops to all corners of the country to wipe out Hindus and Hindu temples. When they came to this temple his army couldn’t even enter the compound wall and nor could Aurangzeb could do the dare to enter the temple. Then he heard some sounds like thunder with voice “Mandir todna hain rajan to karo man ghat” meaning if you want to break the temple then make your heart stronger. This place was so named Kar-man-ghat.

Shri Hanuman Mandir, Sarangpur is a Hindu temple located in Sarangpur , Gujarat and comes under the Vadtal Gadi of the Swaminarayan Sampraday. It is dedicated to Hanuman in the form of Kastbhanjan (Crusher of sorrows). It is the only Swaminarayan temple to have Hanuman as a central deity. In other temples, the central deity is a human form with the shrine of Hanuman along with that of Ganpati at the entrance of the temple
The image of this temple is said to be so powerful that a mere look at it by people affected by evil spirits, drives the evil spirits out of the people affected. Saturday is the designated day for a special ritual (as Saturday is dedicated to Hanuman) for those affected by mental illnesses and other disorders. They are brought to the temple to be touched by the rod used by Sadguru Gopalanand Swami during the installation ceremony of the image. This rod has now been covered in silver. The temple administration has hired a brahmin householder to act as a priest at the temple and conduct this ritual. After this, the person affected is instructed to circumambulate the shrine and repeat this after doing darshan a number of times. Some people take a special vow to do this a certain number of times or to chant the Swaminarayan Mahamantra whiles doing this.
Camp Hanuman Temple is one of the biggest Hanuman temples of India. It is situated in Ahmedabad Cantonment area in Shahibaug, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. This temple was established by Pandit Gajanan Prasad around 100 years ago
My Humble Pranams to Lord Hanuman who has taught us all the true meaning of devotion and faith .May Lord Hanuman bless our souls and free us from all the negative energies within us..
