Hoy me habla el corazon, que por quererte,
la marcha de su ritmo ha apresurado;
me dice, que de amarte esta cansado
y que hoy tan solo aspira a aborrecerte ...
Oh, pobre corazon! Esta tu suerte
unida a mi cerebro enamorado,
es tu destino amar y ser amado ...,
hasta que en el amor halles la muerte.
Y como un volcan que estalla en noche oscura,
asi mi corazon dentro del pecho,
estalla y se deshace en su amargura.
Mas dia llegara que indiferente
no llore el corazon, y a tu despecho,
se borren tus recuerdos de mi mente.
