Saving Tutorials For Offline Use With so many tutorial sites disappearing, you might want to save your favorite tutorials for offline use, so that you can have a copy of them to use at a later time.
The way that I normally save tutorial pages is via the File Menu in my Firefox browser.
File > Save Page As
I create a new folder for every tutorial and I save the web page in that folder. I also download whatever supplies are needed to complete the tutorial and save them in that folder too. I have tons of tutorial folders and pages saved this way.
I have run into at least one site which refuses to allow me to save the page for offline use in this way. So I had to go search a way to save the page another way. Here is an eHow article that explains what I did to save the page (I used method #2).
How To Save Web Pages As PDF Files The article above mentions Adobe PDF converter for method #1. Does anyone use a PDF converter? I don't know what that is or if my computer has it. If you use a PDF converter, can you please tell me more about it?
I am interested to know what method you use, if any, to save tutorials for offline use.
