I'll give this font a play today.  I think the gradient you used probably came with PSP 7.  I have a gradient called cyanmagentayellow.jgd in my Psp 7 and I'm pretty sure it is the same one.

 

 

Here is what I made for this challenge.  It has been so HOT here the last few days, it feels like summer!  That reminds me of watermelon so...

 

 

I used a watermelon gradient that I made a long time ago.  I also made the watermelon seed tube back then.

 

My font size is 106 with a stroke of 4.

 

I used EC 4000 glass with a soft bevel  by timber: bevel 6.99, smoothness 75, check inside marquee, E. D. 3, 0, 50, 0, 40, white.

 

I used a drop shadow on the seeds of 2, 2, 25, 2 and the color #6C0606.

 

I duplicated my name and moved the copy below my name layer.  I gave the copy a gaussian blur of 4 and moved it down and to the right a bit.

Ahhh, thanks so much for the info about the gradient, Judy, you are probably right!  My gradient is not .jgd, but I may have aquired it from a tutorial somewhere.  You're welcome for the tag; it's my pleasure .

I love your watermelon text!  Thanks for giving this challenge a play and for sharing all your settings .  The way that you've done your drop shadow reminds me of light shining through colored glass as if your name is the colored glass.  It's a cool and unexpected effect!

I looked through my watermelon gradients and most of them are pinky, so if you don't mind sharing , I'd love to add your watermelon gradient to my collection.  If you don't mind keeping the gradient uploaded at the group, then you could share it on a separate thread and create a Gradient Challenge with it.  I'd give the gradient a play for sure .
