Hello and Welcome, Sylvia!
It's so great to see you here, Sylvia! Last time we chatted it seemed that you were looking to learn more about PSP and that is what I hope we do here. I've been really busy with non-PSP activities, but I hope to be able to return to focusing on learning new things with PSP. I had picked up the Pen Tool to learn and I had used the tool to draw around an image to create a tube. I'd like to get back to that, but it takes a lot of concentration because I'm not really good at it. There are other things that I'd like to learn as well such as animating tubes.
We have tag tutorials here and I hope to be able to add more, and Judy has been writing quite a few lately. I use tutorial writing to teach something new, so I need to get back into "learning mode" so that I have something new to teach. You can see the previews for the tutorials that I have written here. Not all of my tutorials have been posted at the group, but I am happy to add any that you are interested in. There's instructions on the the preview page for requesting a tutorial to be added.
This group is really relaxed. We don't have any games although I was thinking of creating one or two for taggers, but if that happens, it'll happen when it happens. We don't have faux currency to play for or to keep track of. Most of the activity here is sharing tag making results (from tutorials or original tag designs) and sharing settings used in PSP. There isn't a tag offers board here but if you ever wanted to offer your tags here, then you can just start a thread on the General board. There's just a few of us playing here at the moment so we tend to give pressies rather than make offers.
There's no pressure here to post or participate. I want you to feel comfortable, so just join in as you like. It would be nice to know a little of your PSP history and what art software you use. I'd like to add what versions of PSP you use and your OS to the Software and Sytems page.
I see that you were able to manage the Spanish-language registration process, so that is good. Most of everything at this group will be in English, but there are still a few items that have not yet been translated to English (like the message editor), so I recommend using Google Translate for any text that you don't understand.
When you have a moment, please read the Getting Started page. It will kind of familiarize you with how I've set things up.
That's all I can think of to share at the moment, but if you have any questions, then don't hesitate to ask. I look forward to seeing you around the group!

Hi timber and thanks for the warm welcome!
I'm currently using PSP 2018 and that's just very recent...it's still a bit of a learning curve at the moment. I was using PSP X6 before that. My OS is Windows 7 32-bit. My PC is where I do all of my PSP'ing and this PC of mine is not only obsolete (aka a dinosaur), but it's fossilized! LOL
I look forward to trying some of the tuts I've had a look at. It's going to be nice to go back to my PSP roots, as it were!!!
When I have more time, I'll have a better look around and go check out the Getting Started page.
Big hugs, Sylvia (stargal46) |
