DevilThis tutorial, Diablita (Devil) is written by Mari Mendoza but translated into Italian by Pinuccia. The title is linked to the Italian translation page which has a Google Translate button at the top to translate to English.
Note: The Italian Translation has colored fire, so if you'd like to create monochrome fire, then visit Mari's tutorial page here. I have had a blast today playing with this Halloween tut that timber shared with us. I used Google Translate to make it a bit easier. My Spanish is not very good. LOL I made a few changes to the tut for my tag. I used a stroke of 1, black and a fill of #B61706 for the text fill. I used that same color and the "change to target" brush tool to color the tail and horns. I applied a drop shadow of 2, 2, 26, 4, blk on the text with the horns and tail attached. For the EC 4000 Fire plugin, I used her settings but, on the color tab, I checked "Natural Spectrum" to add color to the flames. I set the frame speed to 14 in AS. I plan on doing this tut again and hope you'll share your tags, when you try this tut.

Thanks for posting this challenge, Judy! I've never done this tutorial but have had my eye on it for years. I've used the Fire filter before but I've never changed the color of the fire , so that was something new and unexpected . I liked the monochrome look, so my first tag is pretty much as written. But I intend to play some more and add some color because this tag screams for red . |

Timber, I like the monochrome look too. I just had to try the red first.
I love your tag and I am definitely trying that version too. I used Google Translate too. |

Well, so much for that one *defeated* My EC 4000 demo does not include use of the needed filter (BOOOOOO!). So, instead this came about:
Flames clipart: https://pixabay.com/en/fire-the-flame-firefox-burn-hot-2266566/
I did a lot of stuff to it, then redid it. In the end, I opt for an the "Red-orange-yellow" gradient and also enhanced the color. Oh yeah, the tail was duplicated and the copy was set to Multiply to make it darker. |

Here's my try at this tut!
Karla, when you go to the tut there's a link to a full version of Eye Candy 4000 and the Registration Code is right in with the stuff in the zip file...it's a txt file, so you just need to copy and paste the provided code into the correct box and put in the name you want to use and voila...it's all yours FOR FREE!
LOL

Karla, I love your results, even if you had no working fire plugin, you created a cool tag! Hopefully, you'll be able to use the supplied plugin.
Sylvia, I love your tag. Thanks for pointing out the download zip.
