 Heya, Karla, it's great to see you again!  I'm sorry to hear you're not feeling well, but it's good so see your happy kawaii faces  LOL. I think I was having a post-meno-time-of-the-month  as I've been really tired  and hungry, etc. I've also been having some dizzy spells  , so I haven't been able to concentrate a whole lot. Like Judy, I've started but haven't finished a few things I was working on  ; I keep getting distracted with more digital hoarding  ROFL. But at least I'm getting my new fonts unzipped and sorted!  I hope to have something completed soon. Here's lookin' at you, Kids!  |

Bless your hearts ladies! I hope both of you are feeling much better soon.  
I am hoping to get a chance to play more today but, hubby is home from work with a sinus infection.  It seems everyone is feeling punky. 
I am guilty of digital hoarding myself, timber. LOL, Now it's time to try to use some of the Halloween stuff I have accumulated.

Hey there ladies! Well, we had a pretty interesting day yesterday...
My honey seen a stray doggy walking around the apartments here, no tags (or collar). It was a cold and rainy day too, so imagine the poor guy (;_;) Honey took our little Buddy (pug mix) out for a little walk and the stray doggy came up to them. He was right outside our back door and I went out to see him for myself because I am a softy for doggies (^_^) I was amazed at how sweet he was! He let us pet him and the doggies were sniffing each other up like there was no tomorrow! And um, doing other stuff too LOL!!!!!!!! We noticed our little visitor had a lot of wounds *sigh* It seems that he may have been in a fight. We took pictures of him and posted them on FB.
Because of the weather, I did not want to have our new friend be out in the cold and alone, so I asked my honey if we can have him come inside. He was given food (which he declined) and water (he drank a lot!). It warmed my heart that this guy, whom I named "Duke" was able to have shelter from the elements. He was such a sweetheart too. We can tell he was housetrained.
I called one of the ladies at the org (where I fostered Daizy from) and she told me to call the sheriffs so they can contact animal control. I did but we waited and nobody came by. I called animal control and again, the waiting game. Few hours later, I called the sheriffs once again and they were finally able to get someone to come down. Duke did NOT want to go but he did not fight it either. He was just a little scared and I am sure he wanted to stay with us. I wanted to keep him *heartbreak*
One of the volunteers at animal control works for the org and she posted an update on Duke. He was cleaned up and given blanket and pillow. He also had his wounds cleaned up. I was absolutely happy to know that he was safe! I will be checking for any new updates in a few, just wanted to let you all know about our day (^_^)

I was hoping to get something good created but my mind will not get to work like I want it. Woe is me. And omg, I had not realized that I had DOWNLOADED so much stuff in the past month! I dl a few more things yesterday and decided to go ahead and unzip some of the files (mostly fonts). I was scrolling for days in my Downloads folder lol Cannot believe how that can get out of hand so quickly. I am like going crazy with all of the mess in my folders and just wish I had a magic wand to put things in order (X_x) lol I really need to do something about my fonts.
Oh yes! So this awesome jack-o-lantern is part of a freebie set file I had downloaded from, I think it was Designbundles.net (if not from Thehungryjpeg). My siggy is nothing fancy and well, I just could not come up with something "wow" to my liking. The font I used is called Sancreek Regular and it is at 72 pt.
Oki doki, will get going for now. Not sure if I will call it a night or browse a bit. Wishing you all a wonderful weekend. Stay safe and warm. We are expected to have rain throughout the week. It will be cccold too!

 LOL It's so good to "read" you again, Karla! Your story telling always amuses me and brings a smile to my face. I love your story about the stray pup, and I'm very happy to hear that he is safe.  Thank you for pointing out the tags in my mailbox. Most of the time I check the front page for new messages and I tend to forget to check for goodies . You did a bloody good job with them and I'm happy to add them to my dolly collection, thank you! Collecting fonts can be a terrible addiction . There are so many these days that all sort of look like each other and I wonder why I keep collecting them  . I have been working on my font categories and trying to separate them better so I know where to find the scripty fonts. Right now they're kind of jumbled and it makes it hard to pick the "perfect" font for a tag. I've just spent the better part of today collecting a bunch of Halloween  tubes. I found a great site with loads of goodies . At this point I'm only on page 24; there's soooo many. So today was a no-creating day as I was too busy collecting more stuff! If you'd like to check out the page, it's here. Your cute kawaii face (X_x) is how I feel right now LOL. I love those little faces. I like your "nothing fancy" siggy! Sometimes less is more, and I've been really wanting to create some simple tags myself like in the olden days before tags got littered with soooo many elements. Happy Saturday ladies! LOL Hope you are having a good weekend.  It is finally a bit warmer and NOT rainy here. This is the first weekend since Labor Day that we won't be wet! 
Thanks for sharing your stray pup story Karla. I am also glad that the puppy is now safe and warm. I like your new tag also Karla. Glad you had time to play.
Speaking of fonts....I have way too many in way too many folders. I need to organize mine badly. I start and then end up gathering more and never finish getting them organized.  Thanks a bunch timber for the link to more Halloween goodies.  I'll be snagging some more!
I'm off to collect more now and I'll see ya all later.

 Hello Ghoulfriends!  Yay, a weekend without rain! That's great to hear, Judy. I've been feeling cruddy lately, so trying to concentrate on anything is kind of difficult. I was playing with a new font, but I trashed everything because it wasn't looking like how I imagined in my mind  LOL. I had unzipped and sorted a bunch of new gradients the other day so today I thought I'd play with gradients, and I came up with something new. Of course it's glassy and glitzy , but I am experimenting with new ways to add the glitz, so this is a new technique for me. My tag is purple, but I've made a red tag for Judy and a teal tag for Karla. You can find those in the Tag Drop Off album. If either of you would like another color, then don't hesistate to ask, and if anyone sees this and you'd like a tag, then let me know and I can scare  that up for you.  |

I hope you ladies are enjoying your Sunday. It is a beautiful day here and I've spent this morning and early afternoon mostly running errands and taking care of odds and ends chores.
I recently saw an old tutorial that showed how to create a cute little mummy but, it used selections. I don't really enjoy doing many selection tutorials so, I decided to draw my own mummy. 
I was playing with Xenofex 2 Electrify and came up with this tag and also made one for timber and Karla. You can find them in the Judy Tags folder.
If anyone else would like one of these, just let me know.

Heh heh, just creeping in...
How is everyone doing today? Hope all is well. I am a bit tired from having been non-stop active in the house (cooking, cleaning, showered and even bathed our little Buddy). I am also feeling sleepy. I did not rest well and when I woke up, my neck was a bit sore. I had no idea I was not covered well either and I need to be covered up to sleep comfy lol
Oh, Judy and Timber, I am so loving the new tags!!!! Thank you both SOOOOO much! Judy, your mummy is mumirific! And Timber, the glitz and glass is just faBOO!
Oh man, I so do not want to deal with my downloaded stuff... just thinking about it makes me cringe lol I can already imagine the HEADACHE and STRESS. If only the comp would do it automatically! lol
Speaking of stress, my birthday is creeping up and I am trying not to let it get to me. I will be turning 41!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *faints* Plus, not sure what we will be doing that day. We have not bought any candy but we do have decorations outside. Heck, I do not even think I will be dressing up or painting my face *sigh*

 Awww, Judy... your little mummy is too cute. You did a wonderful job drawing him. Did you draw him freehand or edit shapes? I'd love to use my Pen Tool more, but I get frustrated too easily when my head hurts so I haven't done much with it except edit nodes on fonts. Thank you for my tag, I love it! You're very welcome for the glassy chrome glitter tag. The font I used is Masquerade. It's a very groovy font!  I didn't do anything really out of the ordinary to make this tag except I tried something new so that I could include the step in my script. It was a technique for offsetting a selection which I normally do by hand. But in order to have that process done automatically for a script I found "Edit Selection" in the Selections menu and used it. Once you are in "edit selection" mode you can use other menu options like Offset, so that is what I did differently for this tag. I offset the text selection to the right and down and then inverted the selection to add noise on the left-top of the text. If you still want more details, then I can write up my quickie notes and you can take a look. I will still be experimenting with different fonts and gradients and hopefully will be able to come up with a nice background to add. Most of my text tags do not have backgrounds but I love when they do. Karla, I know how frustrating it can be to collect too much stuff and then not organize it. During the time when my PSP was uninstalled I was very determined to clean up my files and I was so happy that I did. It's like starting with a clean slate, and now I don't collect a lot of stuff (except for fonts) that I don't organize right away. I keep everything that I save "in my face" so that I don't get carried away. Good luck tackling your hoard; I don't envy you LOL. Turning 41 isn't any different than turning 40, and once you hit that hill each year feels about the same until you hit 50. Then you notice more wrinkles and other things like the thinning of the skin on the back of your hand LOL. Welcome to the mature years! You're welcome for the tag, enjoy. Here's a tag that I made last year using the same Masquerade font and following my Windy Halftone Text tutorial.  |

You are both welcome for the tag. I drew the mummy by editing shapes. It was pretty simple actually but, there is not much detail to the mummy itself.
Karla, I remember being 41. Wow, that was a long time ago!  Don't worry about the number, just enjoy the journey! 
Thanks so much timber for the name of the font and the instructions on "edit selection". I'll give it a play and see if I can do it.

 Good evening ladies
Well, today was not a very good day for me. I am feeling "bleh" and my legs are achy. Our little Buddy L O V E S to sleep on me (preferably my legs) or on the bed blocking my legs from stretching (Bark Out Loud, at the moment, he is on my shoulder on the bed. I feel like a pirate ARRRRRR!). So yeah, I need to stretch these "walking sticks" lol and I have a slight headache too.
 Oh, before I forget! I have an update on "Duke"! I was told that his owners have been found and that they picked him up this morning. I am so darn happy that he finally made his way home and safely. I miss him. I wonder if he lives around my neighborhood.
 MOL (meow out loud) Timber! I would not envy me either. If I ever get to sorting, I will let you all know lol I totally love your glitzy tag creations, both old and new. And I am totally in love with my blue one! I look at it and I am like hypnotized lol
 Oh Judy and Timber, I have no clue how I will welcome my 41. It is crazy to think that I am on my way up to the 50s! But I will try to enjoy the ride... even though I am already showing some "old age" aches and pains lol

| Hi everyone, how are you doing tonight? I hope all is well. On my end, not so good. Still not feeling good and did finally go to the doctors yesterday (honey made me go lol). Got some antibiotics and did not get to have them picked up until today. I just hope I start feeling better soon. I hate feeling crummy.
Not much else has been going on. We had rain today and it was nice and cold. Tomorrow and friday should start clearing up and the sun will make an appearance. This cold weather I can take and makes me happy it is NOT summer anymore lol

| LOL!!!! I had decided to get PSPing and was working on one of the challenges. Well, our little Buddy decided to prop himself right on my laptop as I was working and that was the end of my PSPing! He had his paw on the keyboard and pressed some keys onto the text box! He also gave me the sad look so I gave in! HAHAHAHAAAAA!
