Hey, everyone! Hiya, Fran, I see you made it, welcome!
I just wanted to come and check in and let you know how I'm doing. I have finally gotten my brain to relax and oh boy, did I need it. I didn't realize how frantic my brain had become until it relaxed. I'm a bit high strung and so I like to distract myself with PSP, but my body really needed a good rest.
So I wanted to let you know that I'm going to have myself a mini vacation from the computer to give my body and mind a real chance to settle down from the stress of the Summer. Summer is always the worst season for me with my hot flashes and other things. So now the weather is changing, and days are getting shorter, and the breezes are flowing in and it's nice and quiet here for a change and so wanted.
I will most likely be taking the rest of this week off and I hope to be back on the weekend. I'm having some trouble with my monitor (it keeps going into shut down mode). I think I figured out a workaround for it, so that shouldn't be a problem. Thank goodness it's not yet October because I'm still wanting to make some new Halloween stuff LOL.
I see you all have been busy with your own things,so this must be the time for all of us. Take care, and I hope to chat this weekend! Big hugs.

| Thank you so much girls! We have been thinking and planning stuff already - agreeung and disagreeing lol I had said for next years fall but then he moved up to Feb 2019! And we came up with Feb 16th. It is not yet "written in stone" but that is what we have for now (and he has said he wants to make it even sooner - Nov of this year if not, then in Dec! lol). I would like to make it later than sooner, that way we can prepare and save some money. We will see :D

I have been collecting some tuts I want to try and even played with a couple already.  I can't wait to start posting spooky tags and I might slip one or two in early.

| Good morning all! Well, it is 6:18 AM here and I woke up about 2 hrs or so ago for a "duty call" lol and ended up playing some 8ball pool (app game) :-D I lost track of time and was like "oopsie" when I seen it was 6 already lol
The weather has been a little rainy here. Not sure about heat, since I have not gone outside lately. I am sure that we will still have hot weather still, even though Fall is already at our door.
Oh Judy, I cannot wait to see what you have brewed up with all of the tuts! I am still itching to do stuff but seems I just have not been able to do anything. However, I seem to be good at downloading stuff still lol!!!! |

| Well guess what? I am now fostering a 4 mnth old puppy named Daizy. Lol, she is not like the other Daisy I took care of! I was contacted by Atascosa Animal Allies, here in TX and I agreed to help out. Daizy had to be out of the shelter by saturday. She and another pup will be transported to WA in early October. So she will be with me for a bit. I just cannot get over how mellow she is lol I am not stressed out like I was with Daisy.
So how is everyone doing? Hope the weekend has been a great one for yall! I am hungry but there is not much for me to eat, plus I do not want to make a lot of noise or get the pups here riled up with me eating something. They make me feel bad for eating with their puppy eyes looking at me BOL (bark out loud)!! |

Karla, sounds like you have a project that will keep you on your toes. I'm glad this Daizy is a little calmer that the other.  Hope she leaves you some time to play in PSP.
I have cooking to do today but, I hope to play a bit myself. Hubby and I went to the Oklahoma Sooner football game last night and had a great time.
We walked all over campus....my phone app says I walked 5 miles!  Needless to say, I don't walk that much anymore so I am a wee bit sore today. I didn't expect that!
I guess my age is catching up with me.

Hello everyone! I feel so bad having been "missing" around here and not sharing or posting as I used to. I need to get back on track but every time I want and try, something else comes up! The newest was Daizy lol I had not planned that out. We are enjoying here and I am still so thankful she is not giving trouble like the previous little pup we had visiting. Since this pup is a foster, I am telling myself not to get attached to her because she will be leaving early Oct. I do not know if she is going to a rescue center or if someone is waiting to adopt her in Washington. Either one is a good thing because she is out of the shelter ♥ I will try to get a good pic of her and share it sometime (^_^)
Sounds like you both had fun Judy, though not so much about the walking lol Years ago, I remember my nephew and I were invited to Knotts Berry Farm (theme park with Snoopy and the gang). We walked SOOOOO MUCH that day (and spent so much money too lol)! By the end of the night, I could NOT walk anymore. I had such a hard time when we were heading back to the parking lot. I had to rub pain reliever ointment on my legs and feet and I think I also took a couple of Tylenol. Doing both helped SO MUCH because next morning, I did feel better. Hope you feel better soon (^_~) Old age does have a way of catching up on us! lol

Good evening everyone! I am just now getting the chance to sit and relax (somewhat). Had a very busy day with my honey, his mom and step dad. Been looking around for a place to live and also possible halls for wedd/recep. Also, it was a big day for Daizy. She was spayed! Poor little thing, she is so down and not as active as she would have been. Need to be careful with her and not let her get to riled up and super playful.
So what has everyone been up to, lately? I am happy that our weather has cooled off greatly! Thank goodness for Fall weather ♥

Congrats, Karla, I am glad you are getting to working on some of your wedding plans. I know there is a lot to do!
Poor Daizy, I remember when we had our last doggie spayed. She was so pitiful. 
I have been cleaning house all day and getting ready for some company this weekend. A couple of our friends, from out of town, are coming to stay with us a couple of days. 
I got most of it done, but still need to clean restrooms and a few last minute things. I want to play some in PSP before they get here!
Yes, the weather here was cool today also. It was rainy most of the day with a high temp in the 60's. It is going to be down in the 40s tonight. I love it.

Oh boy, Judy! Sure sounds like a lot of work but I am sure it will be worth it to spend time with friends and enjoy each others company :)
Yeah, poor Daizy is quite pitiful right now. I just keep talking to her sweetly and giving her love. I do not make sudden movements and try not to make loud noises so she does not get scared. She is still showing a little bit of timid behavior. I thought she had overcome it all but it is a process. I know I will miss her when she is transported. She is my very first foster and it feels so nice to be able to take care of her so she would not be in the shelter ♥
