Irish Eyes
Here is another St Patty's Day tut.
I had fun with this one but, realized that it works best with a tube or image with a background.
I tried it first with only a tubed image and it was too plain.
I ended up adding a bit of a St Patty's image behind my tube to add some interest.
Have fun with this one and show us your results! |

Omigosh, that's so freakin' cute, Judy! I'm happy to hear that using a tube with a background is better for this tutorial as I have plenty of those. Thank you for including that note in advance . I'm still working on the Magically Delicious Tutorial but I'm hoping to get that sorted today and posted; I'm working on it right now. Can you share the names of the fonts that you used on your tag? |

Whoops, I did forget to mention my fonts. She suggests the font Great Victorian Standard for the Irish Eyes are Smiling and gives a link to the font. I used AL Charisma for my name. Have fun! |

Well, I thought I'd finally post this tag that I made last month. I had been wanting to use a different font and move the placement of the name, but I got distracted by other things and never got around to doing that. So I'm going to keep this one for now and then do the tutorial again using a non-Irish theme. Thank you for posting this tutorial, Judy, I did enjoy the process of the tutorial using the shapes and filters and stuff. I used Kelt Bold Font for the Irish saying and Lovely Home Font for my name. |

Oh, how cute, timber! I love the rainbow in the background and the cute tube! I like the font you used and the way you added noise/glitter to it! I'm glad you tried it and I agree that it was fun to follow the process of using the shapes and filters. So many of the tuts now are scrap and only involve selecting elements and arranging them to create a tag. I like the tutorials where you create effects and images. |

Thanks, Judy! I know what you mean about scrap tuts. The scrap tags are all sort of starting to look the same to me. And the pay tubes that are used for the tags are also starting to look the same which is weird. So it's onward and upward to more tutorials that use filters, masks, brushes, shapes, etc. and learning new techniques! |

Since it is almost St Paddy's Day again, I am bumping this tut up. I'd love to see your results if you give it a try.
