Hey, everyone!   It's great to read how you've been spending time with family!   I wish I had too.

I was gone for about a week or so as I started to feel really ill and needed a break from my computer.  I have a terrible habit of spending way too much time here and not drinking enough water, so it catches up to me eventually .  We're supposed to have a few days of cool weather so I will probably take advantage of that to get some Spring cleaning done.  When the heat comes, I sort of melt, so I get much more done during cool weather.

Daphne, I love this animated graphic that you made!  The fill that you used for the text is so pretty.  Did you use a pattern for that?  Is it something you can share?

I read about your cough and I can imagine you coughing in a store and everyone running out LMAO.

Karla, I know about those streaks that you mention when cleaning a floor.  They are sooo annoying.  I definitely recommend a steam mop.  I love mine!  Thanks for the compliments on the blue tags in my post above.  I made my siggie but another tagger made the hello snag.

I hope to be able to play one of these days, but I'm having some trouble concentrating .  If I'm lucky enough to make something new, I'll make sure to show my results .  Take care!

Hi everyone!  It's so good to see you all checking in.

Timber , I am so sorry you have not been feeling well.  I have a cure for too much computer time....get a puppy.  LOL, that will definitely keep you off of the 'puter!

Daphne, I hope you are feeling better soon!

Karla, take care of yourself and I hope you can get more sleep.

Our puppy was spayed 12 days ago.  She was supposed to wear a cone for 14 days but, needless to say, that didn't happen.  I will be so glad when she can go outside and play again!

I hope all of you have a great weekend!

Hi ladies! I am soooo happy to read from you all :) At the moment, we are having thunder. Not sure if there is rain in our area yet but our furbabies are worried about the boomers and at times, they are barking at it lol During the day, it was humid and it did cool down, as the evening came. We even had a nice breeze. --- Oooooh, we have rain and oh boy, super windy! (it is 9:37 PM) Honey loves this weather, so that means, windows and doors will be opened lol

Daphne, are you feeling any better? You are better off staying home, in case others get you more sick and well, to avoid scaring others at the store lol

As for my health, I really do need to get a full check up. It has been a very long time, since I have been to the doctors. I tend to have days where I just have no "pep" - I am tired and feel like just staying in bed. And I am not a happy camper, when I cannot just stay in bed and relax :p

Timber, I hope you are feeling better. Hot days are not a fun time to do anything. Do you get more tired/lazy during those kind of days? I do and it also makes me cranky lol I enjoy seeing your old tags! I hope you keep sharing them ♥

Judy, it sounds like your little furbaby did nicely for not needing the cone. How much longer until she is able to go outside for playtime?

GRRRR! So, last night we had a storm and our wifi was on & off. I had typed the above message and it never went through because there was "no internet connection". I thought the whole message was lost too! Luckily, I was able to get it back ♥

Okay, let me post it now before anything else goes wrong lol

Daphne, in regards to your graphic I was referring to the pattern that you used to fill the text. Do you have that to share?

Thank you for letting me know about the outdated supplies link for the Hearts Aglitter Tutorial.  I have fixed it now ; the supplies are uploaded here, so you shouldn't have any trouble getting those.  I look forward to seeing your results .

Yes, Karla, I do usually feel tired when it's hot.  I've always been heat sensitive and I do so much better in cooler weather.  Most summers you would find me sitting on my behind LOL.  The weather you describe sends chills up my spine.  I'd much rather have our earthquakes than your thunder, etc.

On my latest break from my computer I felt as you described where I had no pep.  I think for me it's a combination of headaches, not enough sleep, not enough hydration, and heat.  I get to feeling like I don't want to stand and when I do I get lightheaded.  Sometimes I feel nauseated.  When it's that bad I call it chronic fatique.

LOL Judy... I don't have the energy to tolerate the enthusiasm of a puppy .  I leave that to you more energetic peeps .  It sounds like you're enjoying yours .

When I said we were going to have some cool days, I was sooo wrong .  Hubby showed me the forecast and I looked at the overnight temps rather than the day temps.  It's been a scorcher here and I'm so hot and tired.  I will be relieved when I'm past this heat wave.

Take care, everyone, and stay cool as you can, well rested, and don't forget to hyrdrate LOL.  As for me, you'll find me in front of my fan .

Hello!

It's good to have an opportunity to type a message without a puppy jumping all over me.

JoJo is a Boston Terrier and they are very active and strong.  They want to play all of the time!  She could go outside in the fenced area and play now, however it is so muddy from all of the rain we have had.

It has been very cool here for the time of year but, I know the heat is coming.

Timber, I wanted to ask you about your steam mop.  May I ask what type of floors you use it on and what brand you have.

I have wanted to get one, but haven't decided which one would work best for us.  We have ceramic tile and carpet floors.    I have to get a shampooer for the carpet.

Daphne, I hope your hubby is better soon.  There is not many things worse than back pain!

Karla, I hope you are feeling more energetic soon.  Maybe a Dr visit will give you some help.

Take care all of you!

Hugs

Hiya, gals! Oh gosh, I had been trying to get on my laptop since about 1:30 AM (it is now 2:47 AM). When I turned it on, it let me know it was updating (grrr, I hate updates) and well, I let it update. But when it was done and it was supposed to restart, it told me that the updates were unable to go through and that it was undoing them. Then, when that stopped it went ahead and did the updates again and the SAME thing happened about not going through! (>_<) I was so annoyed because I thought it would be a never ending loop!

Ok, no more "rant" lol

Oh no, Timber! Hot weather is not cool (oh gosh, what a cheesy joke) lol I think staying in front of the fan sounds like fun! We did not have a bad day yesterday but I think rain is still in the forecast for the rest of the week. Some counties have had tornadoes and so far, we have not had any warnings for one. Hope it stays that way!

Daphne, how are you all doing lately? I really hope that things are better ♥ The other day, I did get a chance to visit your website and I really love the new image links you made! They are blingy and gorgeous!

Judy, you read my mind about the steam mop questions! lol We have not bought one yet. Not sure if just to buy one at the big store in town or go online. Oh goodness, I think that is why our Buddy (we believe he is a pug/bost terr mix) can be playful and when he runs, he bolts! lol He has bolted out the door 2 times, last week. He was super excited too! We were able to get him to come back, on the first one but the second, nope! He was heading back to us but then he took off like a cheetah lol Luckily, we have a tracker on him and we can find his location. Daddy carried him back home and Buddy knew he was in "biiiiig twouble". He did sleep really good that night though (from that little adventure he went off too)! ♥

LOL at your puppy adventures!

The steam mop that I use is Shark Steam Pocket Mop that I got at either HSN or Walmart.  It's just a basic steam mop.

I use it on linoleum, but I saw how it worked on my brother's wood floors.  His wife used to use a mop, I think it was a Swiffer, and it would leave streaks from the spray solution.  When he used the Shark steam mop on it, it left no streaks.  Sometimes after using the mop, my floors won't be as shiny, so I put thick socks on and rub my feet over the floor to restore the shine LOL.

I think you can use regular tap water but I use distilled water like I would use in my iron.

I highly recommend using a steam mop because you don't need to use any sprays or anything like that and it gets the floor squeaky clean and it's so easy to use and care for.

Hi Everyone,   Hope your all feeling better now and that you are having nice days with your weather....I am much better at the moment and my cough seems to be slowing down ,  I am sure this comes on me every year at some time or other ... my sister gets the same problem..,  Judy and Karla you sound like you are both enjoying your dogs which is lovely to hear... because I have so many it is hard to give each one the one on one attention all the time ,  the four girls that I have in the house are very very spoilt and my husband dotes on them all...  that leaves the eight boys still downstairs in my attached kennel ...  they all are getting old now ...but my daughter helps out a lot as she is the main one to do all the grooming...so lots of Poms keep me from thinking too much about my own problems ...lol which is a good thing..
I do miss the babies ( not so much the whelping part ) as puppy breath lovely and Pom babies are just so darn cute... lol

Hi all , hope you are having a fun day .... I am having a hard time coming up with any new idea's to add to my website... I am making one page to add some of my webpages that I enjoy making as i just love flowers ( the digital kind ) always tell my kids never to give me fresh flowers although I love the look of them they die so quickly and even if they give me a pot plant that dies too...lol   I love Blossoms and Peony  oh and anything pink....lol so i save the picturs from Pinterest or google to play with and must have a thousand by now...
We have put a "Scat mat" down in our hallway trying to teach the girls ( poms ) not to walk up our hallway and make a mess in our bedrooms ... three of them have already learnt that it is not good to walk on it as it gives off a small shock ( very small does not hurt them) but my husbands little one Abbey just walks on it and it does not seem to worry her at all...lol
chat again soon
