Hi everyone, well it is 2.00am here and for the second night in a row I have been attacked by mosquito's and they have made my hands unbearable and itchy and stinging... so had to spray my bedroom so came out here to the study while my cuppa is brewing.... and what a better place to pop into than here.... lol
Don't know why all of a sudden mosquitoes as I have not had any all year so far, but the little blighters really to affect me.
I have not been doing much glitter /animations of late, but have been catching up on my psp with my two groups that I am in , I also really enjoy doing blends and masks, and when I get as nice lot of graphics from Pinterest of my chinese art I really enjoy using them... it is a great source of pictures.
Hi Karla , I must be joining you in the early hours of the moring stuff... it must be catchy.....lol
I will sit for an hour and then try bed once again...

Just popping back in as it is now 10.30am and I have been playing with making a blinkie for my sister
's web page i am doing for her birthday.. found this blinkie on here so had fun doing them, this is one of 3 .

| Hi Daphne! Lol, I think you did catch it from me (staying up late) :D I have actually done better about not going to bed after 6 AM - I get extra sleepy by 3-4 and I will maybe fall asleep by 5 AM. We will see about tonight lol
Oh no, I hate mosquitoes! They used to attack me A LOT. I would have trails of bites all over my arm. At one point, I remember counting about 17 *bleh* Have you eaten banana, lately? My mom always told me that banana attracts them and I think the color yellow (not sure, maybe this is for other bugs)?? Some of the sprays smell awful but they sure work lol
I love your Easter tag! It is so cute. And love the graphic you made for your sister. She will love it, for sure!
Today, I have been spending it updating at STnet. I want to finish updating all of the image links. I just have the Christmas pages left. Might do that tonight. I would also like to make some new stuff but I might be lazy LOL

I have posted the steps to this one (to create the gel/glass effect), thinking it was the one you were having trouble with lol I think it is less complicated than the Dazzle one. You can use some of the steps to accomplish the design, though. For example, to create the borders.
- Type your text as anti-alias and Raster (or Vector and do any changes needed, then convert to Raster).
- Add a 2px black border.
- Add a drop shadow to that border layer (do not have it as "Shadow on new layer").
- Then, add a 3px border to that same layer.
You will fill that promoted layer (border) with any color you wish. This is so that you can see any areas that need to be filled. Remember I showed you an example on that? :)
- You can then fill it with the glitter background of choice and animate as you would.
Hope that helped - I am sort of in "zombie" mode. It is 5:47 AM and I have been fighting sleep for the past 2 hours or so lol |

Whoo-hooo  ... thanks so much for the new glittery sig, Karla!  Karla, which tutorial of yours is that Hello tag made from? I looked at your Glitter Sig Tutorial and it doesn't look like that, so I'm wondering where it is LOL. If I can find all the messages related to making that tag, then I will migrate them into a challenge so that all notes for the tag are in one thread. I've been spending my last few days working on my smiley collections. Over at my smiley group I have lots of "dead threads" because the smileys aren't showing anymore, so I have to fix a bunch of stuff *sigh*. I've got some Easter and Spring smileys added if you're interested.  |

Hi Timber! You are welcome (^_^) I wanted to make it different but I opt for a simpler design and I was happy with it ♥
The "hello" tag does not have an actual tutorial written for it. Just "quick" notes I have given to Daphne (just for gel/glass effect). It would actually be a good challenge! (^_~)
I was checking out the smilies group and noticed some links were no longer working. It is sad when websites go "bye bye"! I did get to see the new Easter & Spring and they are so cute!
I am not sure if I will be able to come by here over the weekend, since I will be going to my mother in law*s and there is no wifi. If I get a chance, I will login with my mobile ♥

Hello, I do hope everyone is enjoying their easter break..... although here we are not allowed to go out at all over easter to any holiday destinaion because of the virus situation... this apply's to everyone in the state.
Karla yes I did eat bannana sandwhich for two days prior to those mosquito attacks so your mom may be right about that... but i am up again now at 2am with heartburn must have eaten my dinner to fast or something...
Timber , I still cannot get the outline of the sliver to go around my siggy like Karla's Hello tag... , I am not good at doing my own thing without a tutorial... or maybe just old age is a good excuse
I had one of my little poms pass away yesterday and he had not been himself for a few days , he was 13 years old and passed in his sleep, a very sweet and lovable little man , he will be missed. so I had not been in here for that reason for a few days......he was my last American import 11 years ago .
I do enjoy this group and hopefully will see more people posting ....
Karla i looked again at your STnet website and it looks great and i just love all the glitter and sparkles ..
well guess I wil just go check out FB and see what is happening ... or do some psp..lol

| Hi everyone! I am using my mobile phone to post. Luckily, we do get signal out here in the country :) We had a thunderstorm yesterday, which the news made it seem like it would be bad. But nope! It came and went with no poweroutage in my area and the thunder wasn't bad either. Though, my furbabies barked at the thunder lol This weekend, we are spending it at my mother in law's. All the kids are coming over tomorrow to clean around the outside (my father in law's stuff) and celebrate my brother in law's birthday (which is on sunday). Should be fun!

Wishing everyone a great day. We are spending another night at in-law's. And we do have a weather alert - tornado watch effective until 4am. It is almost 1am. Hopefully, we don't get anything!
We had a great time with family, hanging out and eating. We even played a family quiz game. Parents to kids & kids to parents. Since, my honey and I have no kids, our questions were based on our marriage. It was fun - there was a lot of laughing lol
Um, not sure if I will stay up all night this time. I am tired but not sleepy yet but I don't want to over sleep lol See you all later! <3

Hi Karla, looks like you had a good week-end .. it is my sisters birthday today so I sent her my email with a link to see her present .. she loved it ..
Nice weather here today , sunny but not too hot... and no rain..
I have made myself many background screen savers over the years and I enjoy changing them from time to time usually they are with my dogs or something chinese that I have put together ... but another pastime to keep me out of mischief....lol
I hope everyone is staying inside and keeping safe ...

We are back home. It always feels sooooo good to come back home, after being away a day or days. "There is no place like home", right? lol We did have a lot of fun but one thing, I have no idea why we did not celebrate Easter yesterday - since, we would not be together sunday. It was a shame that today (it is still sunday here) was such a lovely day and we did not do something as a family! We had a blue sky and it was sunny and breezy ♥
I did have my laptop with me, over the weekend, but I did not have any creativity flowing while playing in PSP. I did a lot of this and that but not sure if I will stick to anything I tried out. I will not give up lol

Hi Karla ... nice that you are home now , my sister is not much into computers although she did love my webpage that I made for her in red and glitter ( of course).. red being her favourite colour...
I hope to get back into doing some psp as I have not had any incentive so I hope that gets better today...
It does seem a bit lonely in here with just mainly a few posting .... maybe timber needs to get onto putting it onto pinterest again. as I think that is how I found this place...

| Hi everyone! Sorry, I have not been on more. Had a bit of a busy day yesterday - cleaning and grocery shopping (I was not a happy shopper!). My mother in law is spending the night with us and we will be going to her house, later this morning (it is 2:12 AM now lol) or no later than early afternoon. And we will be spending the night there. That means, I will not have internet access on my laptop but will have my mobile phone with me.
I plan to link TT♥ in my Glitter-Graphics profile. All of my webbys have it linked already. I really hope that we can get more people to join us :)
My internet is being soooo slow lately. It is so annoying! Will post this now, in case it decides to freeze or something *bleh* Type to you all later! ♥ |
