Doodle Ladybug Alphabet
After I saw timber's cute ladybug tag (made by Annie), I realized that I had the same Doodle Ladybug font that it was made with.
I colored the font and saved it as an alphabet. You can download the DoodleLadybugAlpha.png file HERE.
You can also download the original Doodle Ladybug font HERE.
To use this font in PSP, just open the Doodle Ladybug .png file and using your lasso tool, select the letter you want. I usually set my lasso tool to freehand. Copy and paste this letter into another image as a new layer.
Repeat copying and pasting until you have all the letters you need.
Arrange the letters to spell out your name or other words.
Then, merge the letter layers and decorate as you wish.
Here is a tag I made using this font.
On my name, I used a drop shadow of 2, 2, 75, 6.00 black.
I created the white frame using my preset shapes rectangle and added the same drop shadow to it.
I flood-filled the inside of the frame with white. Then, I added a new layer and flood-filled inside the frame with a gradient that I have, called "landscape morning". I reduced the opacity of the landscape layer to 32.
I hope you will have fun with this alphabet and please come back here and share your results. |

Oh Judy, this is too darn cute! Here is what I came up with ♥
The ladybug is a free clipart I found on the WWW.
I merged text and clipart layers and I applied the ds that I had been using from NDDs tutorial. Then I duplicated the layer and applied a gaussian blur of 6 to the bottom layer. Color enhanced. Added borders and filled with gradient of #800000 & FF0000, 45 angle, 2 repeats, inverted. |

Sorry, Moonshdw. I just now saw your question.
I selected the dots-expanded by 2 and on a new layer below the font outline, I filled with black. I used a soft bevel on EC 4000 glass then I set my paintbrush to 1 and added a white dot to emphasize the highlight. Let me know if you want more info.
