On the left we can see Cassiopeia the black Queen of Ethiopia - In Greek means burned face one - encrypts fire on Cassiopeia constellation.
To the right the big bear of Arcadia - Ursa Major - the bear bears our cube and pillar Boaz our B-US, number 6 domain - counterclockwise.
The Shell symbolizes the growing interaction of 9-6 spirals, between both constellations.
The silver key the gate of man in Taurus, and the gold key the gate of the Gods in Ophihchus , between Sagitarius and Scorpius.

A circumpolar star is a star that, as viewed from a given latitude on Earth, never sets (that is, never disappears below the horizon), due to its proximity to one of the celestial poles. Circumpolar stars are therefore visible from said location towards nearest pole for the entire night on every night of the year (and would be continuously visible throughout the day too, were they not overwhelmed by the Sun's glare).
All circumpolar stars are within the circumpolar circle. This was in fact the original meaning of "Arctic Circle", before the current geographical meaning, meaning "Circle of the Bears" (Ursa Major, the Great Bear; and Ursa Minor, the Little Bear), from Greek αρκτικός (arktikos), "near the Bear", from the word άρκτος (arktos) bear.

Quote:

Only Cassiopeia suffered an indignity. At nightfall, this constellation has more the shape of the letter M, and you might imagine the Queen reclining on her starry throne. But, at other times of year or night – as in the wee hours between midnight and dawn in February – Cassiopeia’s Chair dips below the celestial pole. And then this constellation appears to us on Earth more like the letter W. It’s then that the Lady of the Chair, as she is sometimes called, is said to hang on for dear life. If Cassiopeia the Queen lets go, she will drop from the sky into the ocean below, where the Nereids must still be waiting.

The festival of Vulcan, the Vulcanalia, was celebrated on August 23 each year, when the summer heat placed crops and granaries most at risk of burning.[1][15] During the festival bonfires were created in honour of the god, into which live fish or small animals were thrown as a sacrifice, to be consumed in the place of humans.[16]

Tephaistos is the Greek word that defines the God whom the Romans gave the name of Vulcan. Hence Sanconiatho and curios similarity of names and occupations, tended to derive the name of Tubal Cain to Vulcan by means known to etymologists. omitting the initial T of Tubal Cain, which is the article in the Phoenician language, and no vowel, the word is formed by the nature Balcan Interchangeable B and V is easily transformed into Vulcan.

Vulcan was a sun deity who was associated with fire, thunderbolts, and light. The festival in honour of him was called the Vulcania in which Human sacrifices were offered. "According to Diel, he bears a family relationship to the Christian devil.' It is fascinating to know that he married Venus, another name for Lucifer or the devil. What is even more interesting is that Vulcan is adored in Masonry under the name of Tubal Cain. In the Masonic Quiz Book the question is asked: "Who was Tubal Cain?" The answer is: "He is the Vulcan of the pagans.'
In Masonry, Tubal Cain is the name of the password for the Master Mason (or third) degree.
Listen to what occultist and Mason, Manly Palmer Hall, has to say:
"When the Mason learns that the key to the warrior on the block is the proper application of the dynamo of living power, he has learned the mastery of his craft. The seething energies of Lucifer are in his hands and before he may step onward and upward, he must prove his ability to properly apply energy. He must follow in the footsteps of his forefather, Tubal-Cain, who with the mighty strength of the war god hammered his sword into a ploughshare.'
There is also a sexual connotation associated with Vulcan and Tubal Cain. Former Mason, Bill Schnoebelen, explains:
"For Masons who wish to conceal their membership from non-Masons, but still advertise it to their Lodge brothers, there is a special pin (or tie tack) they can wear. It looks like an upside down golf club with two balls near the top....Many people assume the person is a golfing enthusiast, but it is actually a visual Masonic pun.
"This is called the 'Two Ball Cane,' and is a pun on the secret password of a Master Mason, 'Tubalcain (sic).'...It is also an all-too-obvious pun on the 'god' of Masonry, the male reproductive organ.

In Dowland manuscript we reads as follows: "Before the flood there was a man called Lamech as is written in the Bible in the fourth chapter of Genesis, and this Lamech had two wives, one named Adah and the other Zillah; of Ada first wife had two children, one named Jubal Jubel and the other, and his second wife had a son and a daughter. These four sons founded the principle of all sciences in the world. the firstborn Jubel founded the science of geometry and was engaged in driving sheep to the field, and first built houses of wood and stone, as stated in the chapter above. and his brother Jubal founded the science of music and songs of the tongue, the harp and the organ. and the third brother, Tubal Cain, founded the guild of smiths who worked in gold, silver, copper, iron and steel, and his daughter founded the art of weaving. and these children knew well that God would punish the sins through fire or water, for which reason they wrote the sciences that had been founded on the pillars to be found after the flood. One pillar was marble and could not burn in the fire, the other was of copper and could sink into the water. "

Simon Cowell - The Shining - Lucifer

Early life

Cowell was born in Lambeth, London[2] and brought up in Elstree, Hertfordshire.[3] His mother, Julie Brett (née Josie Dalglish), is a former ballet dancer and socialite, and his father, Eric Selig Phillip Cowell (1918–1999),[2] was an estate agent developer and music industry executive.[4] Cowell's father was from a mostly Jewish family, though he did not discuss his background with his children (Cowell's paternal grandmother had immigrated from Poland).[5] Cowell's mother was from a Christian background, and is of part Scottish descent.[5][6][7] He has one brother and three half-brothers and a half sister; younger brother Nicholas Cowell, half-brother John Cowell, half-brother Tony Cowell, half-brother Michael Cowell and half sister June Cowell.[8]
Cowell attended Radlett Preparatory School and the independent Dover College as did his brother, but left after taking GCE O levels. He passed in English Language and Literature and then attended Windsor Technical College where he gained another GCE in Sociology.[9] At the age of 17, he dated model Paula Hamilton.[10] Cowell took a few menial jobs—including, according to Tony, working as a runner on Stanley Kubrick's The Shining[11]—but did not get along well with colleagues and bosses, until his father who was executive at the recording giant EMI Music Publishing, managed to get him a job in the mail room.[12]

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Lovers_(Tarot_card)

The Lovers (VI) is the sixth trump or Major Arcana card in most traditional Tarot decks. It is used in game playing as well as in divination.

Interpretation

In some traditions, the Lovers represent relationships and choices. Its appearance in a spread indicates some decision about an existing relationship, a temptation of the heart, or a choice of potential partners. Often an aspect of the Querent's life will have to be sacrificed; a bachelor(ette)'s lifestyle may be sacrificed and a relationship gained (or vice versa), or one potential partner may be chosen while another is turned down. Whatever the choice, it should not be made lightly, as the ramifications will be lasting.
The Lovers is associated with the star sign Gemini, and indeed is also known as The Twins in some decks. Other associations are with Air, Mercury, and the Hebrew letter ז (Zayin).
A. E. Waite was a key figure in the development of modern Tarot interpretations. (Wood, 1998) However not all interpretations follow his theology. All Tarot decks may have slightly different meanings, and different interpretations of cards may be presented by different users of the cards.
Some frequent keywords used by tarot readers are:
Love relationship ----- Union ----- Passion ----- Sexuality
Pleasure ----- Humanism ----- Desire ----- Personal beliefs
Individual values ----- Physical attraction ----- Connection
Affinity ----- Bonding ----- Romance ----- Heart
Following the Marseilles Tradition, also there are:
Choice ----- Doubt ----- ----- Dilemma ----- Temptation
[edit]Mythopoetic approach
The Lovers represent the impulse that drives us out of the Garden, towards adulthood. Sometimes, that impulse manifests as curiosity (Eve, Pandora, Psyche); sometimes it manifests as sexual desire (the basis of much great literature, as well as ordinary romances, most teen movies, and even horror films); sometimes it manifests as duty (a soldier heeding the call). Whatever it is, once we have stepped past the threshold, there is no returning to the garden.
The Lovers is associated through its cross sum (the sum of the digits) with The Devil, Key 15. He is often the source of the impulse, or that thing inside of us that responds to it. The Devil's energy is absolutely necessary, absolutely deadly.
The Lovers also represent raw desire.
Hajo Banzhaf suggests that if the Major Arcana is seen as a map of the Sun's circuit of the Sky, The Lovers is high noon. Consciousness is at its fullest. Frequently, cards show the Sun in the position of noon. Two trees, bearing fruit and flame, represent the intoxication of the material world.
When The Lovers appear in a spread, it typically draws the Querent's attention to whatever impulse drove her from home, to whatever impulse made him move out, reject the faith of his fathers, made him accept the call. That original impulse should be honored, but if it dominates the Querent's life, it will grow tiresome. The call must be renewed.
It can signal that an examination of the Querent's relationship with the garden is needed, be it exile or absence. Sometimes, it can be useful to go beyond Eden and talk about other gardens: the bittersweet Kingdom of Logres built by Arthur to keep back the rising dark for a generation, the idyllic Hobbits' Shire in The Lord of the Rings, or just a happy childhood. Look for misty eyes of memory, or bitterness at the lack of a past paradise.
The Lovers are also a reminder that we need others to become fully human. Lovers, friends, adversaries - each one teaches us, each one stretches us.
[edit]Alternative decks

In the "Flemish Deck" by Vandenborre (c.1750 – 1760), the card is called L'Amour ("Love").
In the Marseilles Deck, the card shows Prince Paris of Troy choosing between Hera (wearing a crown, on the left-hand side) and Aphrodite (on the right-hand side wearing a wreath of flowers on her head). This has sometimes been drawn as Aphrodite (on the right-hand side wearing a wreath of flowers on her head) introducing Queen Helen (on the left-hand side wearing a gold crown) to Prince Paris (in the middle) while Cupid (hovering above) points his bow and arrow at Paris. It symbolizes making a difficult choice.
Another interpretation of the Marseilles Deck depicts two women holding on to each arm of a man. The laurel wreath of victory is worn by the woman on the left, who the man gazes at, while she holds up her free hand to ward him off. The floral wreath of love is on the head of the woman on the right, who touches the heart of the man with her free hand. It symbolizes how you want what you cannot have.
A version in which the Lovers have their hands clasped over the altar or clasping the hands of a child between them is sometimes called Marriage or Unity; sometimes an angel is shown in the background. It links the card to XV.The Devil and XX.Judgement, who use similar artwork.
In the Vikings Tarot, this card shows Frigg with her golden sandals standing between the brothers Vili and Ve.
In the X/1999 Tarot version made by CLAMP, The Lovers is represented by Kotori Monou.
In the Mythic Tarot deck, the Lovers is depicted by the Judgment of Paris, who chose Aphrodite (the goddess of Love), who in turn awarded Paris the most beautiful woman, Helen, which began the Trojan War.
[edit]In pop culture

In The House of the Dead 4, part of Sega's House of the Dead series, the second boss is named for the Lovers, a pair of Tarantulas (one small male atop a gigantic female with the weak spot fired on the male tarantula above the female's head). All of the bosses in the House of the Dead series are named after cards from the Major Arcana.
In the video games Persona 3 and Persona 4, the arcana features mythological figures associated with love and lust, such as Cybele and Ishtar. The characters Yukari Takeba and Rise Kujikawa are also associated with Lovers arcana.
In the James Bond film, Live and Let Die, Bond meets Solitaire, a beautiful virgin tarot expert who has the uncanny ability to see both the future and remote events in the present. Using a stacked tarot deck of only cards showing "The Lovers", Bond tricks her into thinking that seduction is in her future and then seduces her. Solitaire loses her ability to foretell the future when she loses her virginity to Bond and is forced into cooperating with Bond to bring down the antagonist.
The Lovers is a monster card in the Yu-gi-oh! card game, as part of a group of cards called the Arcana Force.
The Lovers, an enemy stand in Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is used by Steely Dan.
In Saint Seiya Episode G series, Pisces of Aphrodite is depicted as The Lovers in the tarot cards version of the manga.
In the SNES video game Ogre Battle: The March of the Black Queen, the Lovers are depicted as two nearly nude people standing back to back holding up flowery plants atop their heads. On drawing the Tarot card after liberation of one of the towns, it increases the Reputation Meter by 2 points, and summons Cupid to make enemy units attack each other when used during battle.[1]
In anime La storia della Arcana Famiglia Felicità bears a contract with the card of the Arcana - The Lovers.

In the 1600s, various Biblical figures were depicted in the stars of Cassiopeia. These included Bathsheba, Solomon's mother; Deborah, an Old Testament prophet; and Mary Magdalene. a disciple of Jesus.[6]

Curious.

As I continued to study this painting, I noted something else that seems to be quite remarkable:

If you use the hand with the knife, the hand making the cutting motion, the right hand of Jesus, his forehead, and the palm of his left hand as points, you have exactly traced the constellation of Cassiopeia MIRRORED.

Cassiopeia

the Ethiopian Queen, the Seated Woman

Cassiopeiapic
Urania's Mirror 1825

Cassiopeia (Greek Kassiope, Kassiepeia) is queen of the celestial royal family, her husband Cepheus is king of Ethiopeia, they are parents of Andromeda. Cassiopeia was proud of her daughter's beauty and boasted that her daughter was more beautiful than the Sea Nymphs, the Nereids, who were daughters of Poseidon (Neptune). The Nereids complained to Poseidon who sent a sea monster, Cetus, to ravage the coast. With his kingdom in grave danger, Cepheus consulted the oracle of Ammon in Libya for advice. He learned that the only way to save his kingdom was to sacrifice his daughter Andromeda to the sea monster. Andromeda was chained to a rock and left to the mercy of the sea monster. The hero, Perseus, arrives at the scene and falls in love with her, he has a quick consultation with Cepheus and Cassiopeia, it is agreed that if he rescues their daughter, he could marry her. The sea monster arrives and Perseus kills it. Perseus breaks the chains that binds Andromeda to the rock. The wedding follows.

The constellation is in a circumpolar position, i.e. it revolves around the pole star, Polaris, and being so close to the pole, its position appears to change dramatically throughout the night. The five brightest stars trace the shape of a slightly distorted M, known as the Celestial M, when above the pole, and a W, known as Celestial W, when below the pole, when Cassiopeia is in an upside-down position.

Cassiopea, is the name of the genus of the "upside-down" jellyfish.

Cassiopeia, the Enthroned Queen, is a sitting figure, at times suspended upside-down in the sky in a very undignified position, she is depicted firmly bound to her throne and refrained from falling out of it, in going around the pole head downward (rather like being on a Ferris wheel I imagine). Greeks knowing it as Kassiepeia E tou thronou, 'Cassiopeia, She of the Throne'; and Hyde gave it the title Inthronata. The constellation is often referred to as Cassiopeia's throne because the stars clearly outline the chair, or throne, upon which the queen sits. The word 'throne' comes from the Indo-European root *dher-2 'To hold firmly, support'. Derivatives: farm, fermata (in music the prolongation of a tone, chord), firm¹, firm², firmament, affirm, confirm, furl, infirm, infirmary, (these words from Latin firmus, firm, strong), throne (from Greek thronos, seat, throne < 'support'), dharma (from Sanskrit dharma, statute, law < 'that which is established firmly'), dharna (the practice of protesting against an injustice by sitting and fasting outside the door of the offender, from Prakrit dharana, a holding firm), Darius (from old Persian darayava(h)us, 'holding firm the good', from daraya- to hold firm, uphold). [Pokorny 2. dher- 252. Watkins]

The Egyptian word for 'throne' or 'seat' is 'KXA' ('kazhaa') [1] which looks like it could be pronounced 'cassa', resembling Cassiopeia's name.

According to Wikipedia Cassiopeia's name in Greek is Κassiope, which means "she whose words excel".

The word 'dharma' (from *dher-2) is related to the word throne. According to the American Heritage Dictionary; "dharma in Hinduism and Buddhism is the principle or law that orders the universe, also the body of teachings expounded by the Buddha". Hindus called this constellation Casyapi (Kasyapi, similar to Cassiopeia or Kassiopeia). In Buddhist tradition there is a monk Kasyapa (Kashyapa, Kasiapa) whom Zen Buddhists consider their First Patriarch and the founder of their lineage [2], of whom the Buddha remarked that he alone of all his students had received his teaching (dharma), and should thereafter be known as Mahakasyapa, the Buddha said “I have true dharma, and I transmit my dharma to Mahakasyapa” [3].

An extinct constellation occupied a position in what is now northern Cassiopeia, Custos Messium, the Harvest Keeper. The Phoenicians are said to have imagined a large Wheat Field in this part of the sky. This might explain 'farm' cognate of *dher-2

__________

The name Ethiopeia, from Greek aitho, 'I burn' from the verb aithein, 'to burn', and ops, 'face', is believed to derive from the Indo-European root *ai-2 'To burn'. Related words: ember, estival, estivate, from Latin aestas, heat, summer; aestus, 'heat', estuary, aedile, edifice, edify, ether, etheric, ethyl, ethane, Mt Etna. [Pokorny, ai-dh- 11, Watkins]. "Akasha (or Akash) is the Sanskrit word meaning "aether" in both its elemental and mythological senses" [4].

Cepheus and Cassiopeia are king and queen of Ethiopeia. The name Ethiopeia is a cognate of Greek aither, Latin aether, shortened to ether. There are masculine and feminine derivatives from the word 'aether'; the Greek word Aither, Latin spelling Aether, is masculine, and may relate to Cepheus; and the feminine Cassiopeia to Aithre, Latin spelling Aithra. Aither was the ancient Greek Protogenos (first-born elemental god) of the bright, glowing upper air of heaven. His female counterpart was Aithre, "Titanis of the Clear Blue Sky, mother of the Sun and Moon."

Aether or ether was understood to be the element itself; and aethra is the glow of the aether; according to Isidore (The Etymologies, p.272.):

"The ether (aether) is the place where the stars are, and signifies that fire which is separated high above from the entire world. Of course, ether is itself an element, but aethra (i.e. another word for ether) is the radiance of ether; it is a Greek word."

The aether (ether) was a general word for the sky, kindle, burn, shine, the regions of space beyond the earth's atmosphere; the heavens (not the same as Ouranos, Uranus, Caelum). Aether was also the element believed in ancient and medieval civilizations to fill all space above the sphere of the moon and to compose the stars and planets [AHD]. The precise nature of the aether is an open question. Scientists in the late 19th century failed to detect the aether because it could not be measured, and concluded that the space was filled with void, or was a vacuum. Some think that what is now called 'quintessence' or 'dark-matter' is what the ancients meant by aether [5].

Cassiopeia may be Aithre, Latin spelling Aithra. Aithre was also apparently a female aspect of the protogenos Aither, the bright upper air, or shining blue sky. Aithra was the Greek word for the sky, usually translated "the bright sky." Firmamentum is the classical Latin term for the sky, the firmament, this word is related to throne. See the etymology of the word 'throne' above.

Aithra was also known as Theia.

Theia was the Titan goddess of sight (thea) and shining light of the clear blue sky (aithre). She was also, by extension, the goddess who endowed gold, silver and gems with their brilliance and intrinsic value. Theia married Hyperion, the Titan-god of light, and bore him three bright children--Helios the Sun, Eos the Dawn, and Selene the Moon. [http://www.theoi.com/Titan/TitanisTheia.html ]

"Theia was the Titan goddess of sight (thea)..."  Greek thea is the root of our word theatre, literally 'a place for seeing', or viewing.

Theia was "the goddess who endowed gold, silver and gems with their brilliance and intrinsic value". See the astrological influences given by Manilius below: "Cassiope will produce goldsmiths who can turn their work into a thousand different shapes, endow the precious substance with yet greater value, and add thereto the vivid hue of Jewels..."

The astrological influences of the constellation given by Manilius:

"and Cassiepia, her face upturned to witness the sacrifice she caused" (to her daughter Andromeda) [Manilius, Astronomica, book 1, 1st century AD, p.33.]

"Cassiope will produce goldsmiths who can turn their work into a thousand different shapes, endow the precious substance with yet greater value, and add thereto the vivid hue of Jewels. From Cassiope come the gifts of Augustus which gleam in the temples he consecrated, where the blaze of gold rivals the sun's brightness and the fires of gems flash forth light out of shadow. From Cassiope come the memorials of Pompey's triumph of old and the trophies which bear the features of Mithridates: they remain to this very day, spoils undimmed by the passage of time, their sparkle as fresh as ever.

"From Cassiope come the enhancement of beauty and devices for adorning the body: from gold has been sought the means to give grace to the appearance; precious stones have been spread over head, neck, and hands and golden chains have shone on snow-white feet. What products would a grand lady like Cassiope prefer her sons to handle rather than those she could turn to her own employments? And that material for such employment should not be lacking, she bids men look for gold beneath the ground, uproot all which nature stealthily conceals, and turn earth upside down in search of gain; she bids them detect the treasure in lumps of ore and finally, for all its reluctance, expose it to a sky it has never seen. The son of Cassiope will also count greedily the yellow sands, and drench a dripping beach with a new flood; he will make small weights to measure the tiny grains, or else will collect the wealth of gold-foaming Pactolus [Pactolus]; or he will smelt lumps of silver, separating the hidden metal and causing the mineral to flow forth in a running stream; otherwise he will become a trader of the metals produced by these two craftsmen, ever ready to change coinage of the one metal into wares of the other. Such are the inclinations which Cassiope will fashion in those born under her" [Manilius, Astronomica, book 5, 1st century AD, p.343.]

Cassiopeia

One can imagine the northern sky as a giant seesaw with Polaris at the fulcrum and Cassiopeia and the Big Dipper sitting on seats at the opposite ends. Both of these circumpolar constellations are almost equidistant from the celestial North Pole, so while one is setting the other is rising. The five brightest stars of Cassiopeia form a "W" or "M", depending from what angle your are observing them.

The Greeks called these five stars Cassiopeia’s chair. The Arabs on the other hand, after determining the "M" position as the right side-up one, called Cassiopeia a kneeling camel, apparently of the two- humped variety. The constellation Cassiopeia has been called by various peoples, the Key, the Stone Lamp and the Foot. It has also been known as the prophetess Deborah, King David's Bathsheba and Mary Magdalene. The Celts, seeing the constellations Cassiopeia in the midst of the Milky Way, named it Llys Don, the House of Don, who was the Fairy King.

The Greek Cassiopeia was an Ethiopian queen known for her vanity. Her claiming to be more beautiful than the daughters of Neureuus, the sea god, started a chain of events involving her daughter Andromeda, her husband Cepheus and also Perseus.

That starred Ethiop queen who strove
To set her Beauty’s praise above
The sea-nymphs, and their power offended.

Cassiopeia eventually was placed in the sky as a punishment. As an additional punishment, she was forced to revolve around Polaris and periodically must stand on her head.

Cassiopeia is located in a rich area of the Milky Way and is very lovely to view through a pair of binoculars. If you wish to compare the colors of a white and a yellow star, look at alpha Cassiopiae and beta Cassiopiae. They are both of almost equal brightness, while alpha is yellow and beta is white.

Cassiopeia is a constellation in the northern sky, named after the vain queen Cassiopeia in Greek mythology, who boasted about her unrivalled beauty. Cassiopeia was one of the 48 constellations listed by the 2nd century Greek astronomer Ptolemy, and it remains one of the 88 modern constellations today. It is easily recognizable due to its distinctive 'W' shape, formed by five bright stars. It is bordered by Andromeda to the south, Perseus to the southeast, and Cepheus to the north. She is opposite the Big Dipper, and from northern latitudes can be seen at her clearest in early November.

[edit] Notable features

The constellation Cassiopeia as it can be seen by the naked eye.

[edit] Stars

Cassiopeia in her chair, as depicted in Urania's Mirror, a set of constellation cards published in London c.1825.

The four brightest stars of Cassiopeia are all brighter than the third magnitude. Alpha Cassiopeiae, traditionally called "Shedir", is a double star. The primary is an orange-hued giant of magnitude 2.2, 229 light-years from Earth. The secondary is widely separated from the primary and is of magnitude 8.9. Its traditional name means "the breast". Caph, designated Beta Cassiopeiae, is a white-hued star of magnitude 2.3, 54 light-years from Earth. The two other notably bright stars in Cassiopeia are both variable stars. Gamma Cassiopeiae is a shell star, a type of variable star that has a very high rate of rotation. This causes the star to be somewhat unstable and periodically eject rings of material. Gamma Cassiopeiae has a minimum magnitude of 3.0 and a maximum magnitude of 1.6; it is currently approximately magnitude 2.2. Delta Cassiopeiae, also known as "Ruchbah", is an Algol-type eclipsing variable star. It varies by 0.1 magnitudes around magnitude 2.7; its period is 2 years and 1 month. Ruchbah appears to have a blue-white hue and it is 99 light-years from Earth.[1]

There are several dimmer single stars in Cassiopeia. Epsilon Cassiopeiae is a blue-white hued star of magnitude 3.3, 442 light-years from Earth. Rho Cassiopeiae is a semi-regular pulsating variable yellow-hued supergiant star, among the most luminous stars in the galaxy with a luminosity of approximately 500,000 solar luminosities. It has a minimum magnitude of 6.2 and a maximum magnitude of 4.1; its period is approximately 320 days. Rho Cassiopeiae is about 10,000 light-years from Earth.[1]

Cassiopeia possesses several dimmer double stars and binary stars. Eta Cassiopeiae is a binary star with a period of 480 years. The primary is a yellow-hued star of magnitude 3.5 and the secondary is a red-hued star of magnitude 7.5. The system is 19 light-years from Earth. Iota Cassiopeiae is a triple star 142 light-years from Earth. The primary is a white-hued star of magnitude 4.5, the secondary is a yellow-hued star of magnitude 6.9, and the tertiary is a star of magnitude 8.4. The primary and secondary are close together but the primary and tertiary are widely separated. Sigma Cassiopeiae is a binary star 1500 light-years from Earth. It has a green-hued primary of magnitude 5.0 and a blue-hued secondary of magnitude 7.3. Psi Cassiopeiae is a triple star 193 light-years from Earth. The primary is an orange-hued giant star of magnitude 4.7 and the secondary is a close pair of stars that appears to be of magnitude 9.0.[1]

Bonfire Lyrics Performed by Third Eye Blind

A little early in spring
A bonfire ring, she's shivering alone
I bumped into you somehow
You can wear, my duct taped vest
It's my party best, its really all I own
Everything's changing now

And I am high like a star thats flying
Cassiopeia
Everything's changing now
She said it's alright
She said no, don't die alone
There's no goodbyes

Lightning comes and lightning goes
And its all the same to me
Let it in
Cuz I want you so
I can hardly breathe, or release
Into on thousand pieces
I have broke in to, over you
That shame will soon be gone
but I keep burning on

If nothing else I am myself
It's all i have to give
Everything's changing now
And we could live like kings if we take the risk
Or we could live with doubt
Everything's changing now
Oh now
Come on, come on

Lightning comes and lightning goes
And its all the same to me
Let it in
Cuz I want you so
I can hardly breathe, or release
Into on thousand pieces
I have broke in to, over you
That shame will soon be gone
but I keep burning on

Some girls will break you down
Just to see you come undone
Everythings changing now
Maybe you and I are cursed
Or maybe you and I are one
And thats the universe
Spin round, keep changing

Lightning comes and lightning goes
And its all the same to me
Let it in
Cuz I want you so
I can hardly breathe, or release
Into on thousand pieces
I have broke in to, over you
That shame will soon be gone
but I keep burning on and on and on

Following the draconian Alan Parson Ammonia Avenue Cat keys

Year of the Cat is the seventh studio album by Al Stewart, released in 1976 and engineered by Alan Parsons; it is considered his masterpiece,[3] its sales helped by the hit single "Year of the Cat", "one of those 'mysterious woman' songs,"[4] co-written by Peter Wood. The other single from the album was "On the Border". Stewart wrote "Lord Grenville" about the Elizabethan sailor and explorer Sir Richard Grenville (1542–1591).[5]

THE YEAR OF THE CAT

On a morning from a Bogart movie
In a country where they turn back time
You go strolling through the crowd like Peter Lorre *
Contemplating a crime
She comes out of the sun in a silk dress running
Like a watercolour in the rain
Don’t bother asking for explanations
She’ll just tell you that she came
In the year of the cat.

She doesn’t give you time for questions
As she locks up your arm in hers
And you follow till your sense of which direction
Completely disappears
By the blue tiled walls near the market stalls
There’s a hidden door she leads you to
These days, she says, I feel my life
Just like a river running through
The year of the cat

She looks at you so cooly
And her eyes shine like the moon in the sea
She comes in incense and patchouli
So you take her, to find what’s waiting inside
The year of the cat.

Well morning comes and you’re still with her
And the bus and the tourists are gone
And you’ve thrown away the choice and lost your ticket
So you have to stay on
But the drum-beat strains of the night remain
In the rhythm of the new-born day
You know sometime you’re bound to leave her
But for now you’re going to stay
In the year of the cat.
