In terms of Richard Hoagland's ' hyperdimensional physics' derived from the geometric 'message' of Cydonia (Mars), the conduit or 'stargate' between this world  and the Otherworld (i.e. hyperspace) is prominently represented by the angle 19.5°. According to the theory, it is the tetrahedral geometry signified by this angle that enables inter-dimensional energy transfer between the two realms.
 This 'stargate' geometry is expressed by a circumscribed tetrahedron (made up of four equilateral triangles). Interestingly enough, the hieroglyphic sign denoting Sirius was a triangle in ancient Egypt.
The connection is made evident by archaeo-astronomy. First, it is widely accepted these days that the 'air shafts' inside the Great Pyramid were designed to aligned with certain stars. One was specifically targeted toward Sirius in c. 2350 BC.
And at that pinpointed time (c. 2350 BC), Sirius and Orion's Alnitak (representing the Great Pyramid as per the Orion Correlation Theory) together produced the angle 19.5° (when Sirius was rising on the Giza horizon).[10]
 
Next, it is natural - given the Sirius-Great Bend connection - to wonder about the possibility of the Nile's 'Winding Waterway' having some relevance to tetrahedral geometry. Indeed, we do find a clear connection!
Believe it or not, the northern peak of the Great Bend precisely pinpoints the tetrahedral/stargate latitude, 19.5°N.!
What's even more incredible is the fact that the same Bend peak also pinpoints 33°E longitude. As those familiar with Hoagland's work would surely know, '33' and '19.5' are considered the two key numbers in the 'hyperdimensional code'! (Hoagland is just not yet aware of this Nile connection.)
In 1997, the esoteric importance of those numbers was overtly demonstrated as NASA landed a tetrahedron-shaped Mars Pathfinder lander on the Red Planet at 19.5 N and 33 W.! (That's pretty in your face, isn't it?)

Nuestra Señora de Los Dolores también conocida como Nuestra Señora de Los Volcanes, se trata de una imagen de la Virgen María, que se la venera en la localidad de Mancha Blanca (en el municipio de Tinajo), en la isla de Lanzarote de la cual es Patrona.
Advocación de los Dolores [editar]
La Virgen de los Dolores frecuentemente aparece representada en el momento de La Piedad con su hijo Jesús muerto sobre su regazo, tras el descendimiento, y otras veces con expresión de desconsuelo al pie de la Cruz, sosteniendo sedente la corona de espinas de su hijo. En ocasiones, se la representa con varias espadas que le traspasan el corazón.
Su imagen es procesionada durante la Semana Santa en numerosas localidades españolas, mientras que la patrona de Lanzarote procesiona no en Semana Santa, sino cada 15 de septiembre y 31 de julio.[1]
Historia de la Advocación de los Volcanes [editar]
Tal advocación tiene su origen en unos hechos misteriosos y milagrosos. En el año 1736, fecha de las temibles erupciones volcánicas que muchas veces castigaron las Islas Canarias, un franciscano, convoca al pueblo conejero para organizar una procesión con la imagen de la Virgen de los Dolores de Tinajo, cuyo motivo era dirigirse a las corrientes de lavas y magma. La procesión se situó justo en la Montaña de Guiguán y allí hicieron un voto de promesa, construir una ermita a la Virgen de Tinajo si se conseguía detener las tan temibles lavas. Un individuo, abrazado a una cruz de madera, se adelantó al magma y clavó la cruz. El río de lava llegó a los pies de la cruz, y se detuvo.[2] Las promesas hechas a la Virgen, días después se olvidaron con la tranquilidad inesperada.
Cuenta la leyenda que una mujer enlutada, un día se acerco a una niña que cuidaba del rebaño de cabras, la saludó amablemente y le dijo:
"'Niña, ve y diles a tus padres que cumplan los vecinos la promesa de construir la ermita, pues de lo contrario correrá el volcán de nuevo."
La niña le contó esa extraña aparición a sus padres, pero éstos no la creyeron. Días mas tarde, la niña vuelve a ver a la mujer vestida de negro que le dice la misma advertencia, pero ella le comunica que se niega a dar tal comunicado puesto que sus padres la habían reñido. Pero la mujer de luto, puso su mano sobre los hombros de la niña diciéndole:
"Ve, ahora te creerán."
Los padres de la niña se quedaron impresionados, sorprendidos de ver la mano, que mostraban los hombros de la niña. De inmediato, la niña fue llevada al templo matriz para mostrarle todas y cada una de las imágenes de la Virgen María; la cual se quedo atótina al ver a la misma mujer que días atrás le había comunicado tantos recados.
A partir de ese momento todos los vecinos se afanaron por edificar la ermita, obra que tardó alrededor de 10 años de construcción. El milagroso acontecimiento corrió por toda la isla, y la devoción hacia la Virgen de los Dolores se incrementó en todos los ámbitos.
Los textos custodiados además manifiestan que, el 31 de julio de 1824, erupcionó el volcán de la Capellanía del Clérigo Duarte, entre Tao y Tiagua. Los vecinos programaron inesperadamente una procesión multitudinaria, llegando a las faldas de Tamia, todos las personas asistentes, imploraron a la Virgen que no permitiera que las tierras fueran desprotegidas y condenadas al desastre; momentos después, el volcán se apagó. Tras este nuevo milagro a la Virgen de los Dolores se la proclamo como Virgen de los Volcanes.[3]
La devoción a la Santísima Virgen María en su advocación universal de Los Dolores, o la local de Los Volcanes, es la más difundida y practicada en toda la isla de Lanzarote. En los "Papeles de Teguise" que se conservan en el Archivo del Palacio Episcopal, se habla extensamente sobre ello, diciéndonos que "no hay parroquia, ni ermita, ni sala de ricos, ni casa de pobre donde no haya una imagen dolorosa". Que los viernes se le tributa culto especial. Que el lugar donde este culto se concentra es el Santuario de Nuestra Señora de los Volcanes, en Tinajo. Que allí se ofrecen todas las promesas, se concurre todos los viernes, se comulga, se entra de rodillas. Y se celebran dos fiestas al año: una el día de los Dolores, en septiembre; y la otra el 31 de julio, día que se extinguió el volcán que reventó el año 1824, por milagro de la Santísima Virgen, y que por ello se llama la Fiesta del Fuego.[4]
Es a partir del milagro del fin de las erupciones volcánicas cuando la Virgen de los Dolores adquiere el patronazgo de la isla, aunque lo obtiene de manera compartida con la Virgen de las Nieves de la Villa de Teguise, y con San Marcial en Femés que son los antiguos patronos de la isla.[5]
Fiesta del Fuego [editar]
El 31 de julio de 1824, al amanecer, entró en actividad el volcán de la capellanía del Clérigo Duarte, entre Tao y Tinajo, y los afectados sacaron en procesión a la Virgen de los Dolores, por Guiguán, hacia La Vegueta. Pero algunos vecinos de Tinajo quisieron detener el cortejo, aduciendo que se ponía en riesgo la Sagrada Imagen. Entonces, tres acaudalados señores de Tiagua se hicieron responsables y garantes con sus haciendas, por lo que la procesión prosiguió hasta las faldas de Tamía, siguiendo el camino viejo, entie Tiagua y Tao. Se colocó la Santa Imagen mirando al Volcán, mientras los fieles imploraban arrodillados.
Inesperadamente, el cráter dejó de vomitar lava, exhalando una espesa columna de humo, a la que sucedió un torrente de agua salada. Por ello, cada 31 de julio de recuerda solemnemente en Mancha Blanca este acontecimiento histórico.
Romería de Los Dolores [editar]
La Romería de los Dolores se celebra habitualmente el sábado siguiente al 15 de septiembre, la fiesta con mayor arraigo en la isla es la celebrada cada 15 de septiembre en honor a la Virgen de los Dolores, que a su vez es la fiesta principal que se celebra en honor de la Virgen, en la que destaca la solemne eucaristía y la posterior procesión de la Virgen.
Por su parte, en la romería participan gentes venidas de toda Lanzarote y de otras islas, mayoritariamente ataviadas con los trajes típicos. Desde primera hora de la mañana, parten las procesiones de todos los pueblos de Lanzarote. Acompañados de productos típicos gastronómicos y de timples y guitarras para dinamizar la jornada, avanzan metro a metro hasta alcanzar la bella ermita de Los Dolores, en donde ofrendan los productos y flores traídos a la Virgen de los Volcanes que espera en la puerta de su santuario las ofrendas de sus devotos. Tras la romería estas ofrendas irán destinados a los más necesitados.

Cuando los vecinos de Tinajo, organizaron su primera procesión imploratoria, para librarse de las amenazas del volcán, no portaban ninguna imagen de la Virgen de los Dolores, sino un cuadro al óleo de la misma, que era de lo que disponían en la iglesia de San Roque, la futura parroquia.
En cuanto a la bella escultura actual, no se conoce su procedencia ni su autor, por la pérdida de los documentos. Se supone adquirida a finales del siglo XVIII, pues en inventario de dicha fecha se habla del "nicho para la imagen" que ha quedado oculto tras el retablo actual. Su estilo tiene sabor andaluz, en opinión de su párroco, y su serena belleza, se transparenta en su resignado dolor. Ella ha favorecido que su devoción se extienda a los más apartados y recónditos rincones de la isla. Y que en los archivos parroquiales de Lanzarote abunden las Dolores, como nombres personales.
En cuanto al célebre cuadro que sirvió de estandarte para la famosa procesión a Mancha Blanca en el momento álgido de la erupción volcánica de los cráteres de las Quemadas, también tiene su historia. Según Agustín de la Hoz en 1872 doña María Rosa Valenciano le compra un cuadro nuevo al párroco de Tinajo a cambio del antiguo. Tal reliquia pasó a posesión privada hasta 1910 en que se descubrió en el domicilio de Esteban Velázquez y Juana Cabrera Feo. Dicha señora se resistió a su entrega mientras no se curase de una enfermedad. Pero luego tampoco quería devolverlo; mas una serie de adversidades familiares le hicieron ceder y cambiar de idea.[6]
Ermita de Los Dolores [editar]
El Santuario de Mancha Blanca tiene, pues, sus orígenes en la promesa formulada colectivamente a la Virgen, en su advocación de los Dolores, en momentos de angustia por todos los vecinos de Tinajo; pero su cumplimiento se dilató en el tiempo y su ejecución se realizó medio siglo después, espoleado por una intervención providencial, con ecos de milagro. No existe una constancia precisa de fechas y costes de las obras.
En 1850, la Virgen de los Dolores y todos los objetos de valor de su ermita, fueron trasladados a la Parroquia de San Roque, la iglesia matriz de Tinajo. El motivo se debió al mal estado de la Ermita de los Dolores que amenazada derrumbe. A finales de 1861 (una vez concluidas las obras) se trajo la imagen en solemne y multitudinaria procesión desde la Iglesia de San Roque hasta su santuario, quedando abierto desde entonces al culto público.
Se documenta otro traslado de la imagen a la Iglesia de San Roque en 1988. La causa fue la misma, se realizó otra restauración de la ermita por culpa del deterioro. El 18 de junio de este año se trasladaron los objetos a la parroquia de Tinajo. Sobre la una del mediodía fue cuando sacaron la imagen de la Virgen y dos horas después se derrumbó la cúpula de la ermita, como si hubiera estado esperando a que se marcharse. Más tarde tras la restauración, la ermita se reabrió y la Patrona de Lanzarote regresó a su templo.

Aparte la VIRGEN DE LOS DOLORES, al tener referencia a los VOLCANES es una referencia a VULCANO , 23 de agosto, dia numero 235, del calendario gregoriano que es una referencia a la diferencia entre los tropicos y el ECUADOR. SABEMOS QUE LA SIMBOLOGIA DEL DOLAR TIENE FUERTE CONNOTACION CON EL DISEÑO DEL TABERNACULO, EN FUNCION A LAS DOS COLUMNAS DE JACHIN Y BOAZ, que justamente era adonde la luz del sol chocaba en los SOLSTICIOS. EL 15 DE SEPTIEMBRE, es una referencia al ultimo libro de DAN BROWN, THE LOST SYMBOL, EN EL CONTEXTO A WASHINGTON D.C. LA LLAVE DE SALOMON. OBSERVAMOS que todo esta codificado. En 1917 y tambien en el 2012, la FIESTA DE LOS TABERNACULOS CAYO EL 15 DE SEPTIEMBRE, que sabemos segun LEVITICO 23, DICHA FESTIVIDAD ES EN DIA 15 DEL SEPTIMO MES. TABERNACULOS ES UNA REFERENCIA A LA UVA, OSEA LA SANGRE CON REFERENCIA AL LINAJE DE NUESTRO SEÑOR. ES INCREIBLE QUE HAYA TANTA SIMBOLOGIA CON CONNOTACION EN LA BIBLIA. LO QUE ES MAS INCREIBLE ES QUE EXISTA ATEOS EN ESTE CONTEXTO. LA MAYORIA de los volcanes a nivel mundial estan cercanos al paralelo 19.47 QUE SON UNA REFERENCIA A LA SEÑAL DE JONAS.

El centro galáctico es el centro de rotación de nuestra galaxia, la Vía Láctea. En 1985 la Unión Astronómica Internacional adopto la distancia a 8.5 kiloparsecs del Sol.[1] Sin embargo, investigaciones recientes han sugerido distancias menores a esta.[2] Está en dirección de las constelaciones Sagitario, Ofiuco y Escorpio, donde la Vía Láctea parece más brillante.
Se dice que hay un agujero negro supermasivo en el centro de la Vía Láctea.[3]
Existencia y ubicación [editar]
Debido a que el polvo interestelar bloquea nuestra línea de visión hacia el centro de la galaxia, éste no puede ser estudiado mediante el espectro visible, el ultravioleta o por rayos X de baja potencia. En consecuencia, la información que actualmente se posee sobre el centro galáctico proviene de observaciones realizadas por rayos gamma, infrarrojos, observaciones de longitudes de onda submilimetrales, ondas de radio o rayos X de alta potencia.
Las coordenadas del centro galáctico fueron encontradas por primera vez por Harlow Shapley en el estudio que realizó en 1918 acerca de la distribución de los cúmulos globulares. En el sistema de coordenadas ecuatoriales las coordenadas son: AR 17h45m40.04s, Dec -29° 00' 28.1" (época J2000).
Agujero negro supermasivo [editar]
La radiofuente Sagitario A parece estar ubicada casi exactamente en el centro galáctico, y contiene una potente y compacta fuente de ondas de radio, Sagitario A*, la que podría ser un agujero negro supermasivo ubicado en el centro de la Vía Láctea.
Es de suponer que el disco de acreción gaseoso está emitiendo suficiente energía para alimentar la fuente de estas poderosas ondas. Un estudio de 2008 realizado con radiotelescopios en Hawaii, Arizona y California (VLBI) reveló que, en promedio, el diámetro de Sagitario A* alcanza las 0,3 UA[4] (unos 44 millones de kilómetros), bastante más grande de lo que mediría el agujero negro. Este último sería demasiado pequeño para ser visible con la instrumentación disponible actualmente.
En diciembre de 2008, científicos del Instituto Max Planck de Física Extraterrestre en Alemania anunciaron que lograron confirmar la existencia del agujero negro supermasivo en el centro de la galaxía, mediante el uso de telescopios chilenos. El agujero negro en cuestión tendría una masa equivalente a cuatro millones de masas solares.[3]

El pársec central alrededor de Sagitario A* contiene miles de estrellas. Aunque muchas de ellas son viejas estrellas rojas de la secuencia principal, el centro galáctico es también rico en estrellas masivas. Más de 100 estrellas OB y Wolf-Rayet han sido identificadas hasta ahora. Éstas parecen haberse formado en un solo evento de formación estelar hace algunos millones de años.
La existencia de estas relativamente jóvenes estrellas (aunque evolucionadas) sorprendieron a los expertos, quienes esperaban que la fuerza de marea del agujero negro central no permitiera que esto sucediese. Esta paradoja, conocida como la paradoja de la juventud, es aún más remarcable para las estrellas que mantienen órbitas muy cercanas con Sagitario A*, como S2.
Algunas de las explicaciones existentes para esta paradoja dicen que estas estrellas se formaron en un masivo cúmulo estelar fuera del centro galáctico para luego llegar, ya formadas, donde están actualmente. Otra explicación sugiere que las estrellas se formaron en un masivo y compacto disco de acreción de gas cerca del agujero negro central.
Es interesante notar que muchas de estas 100 o más estrellas parecen estar concentradas en uno o dos discos (de acuerdo a los grupos de astronomía de la UCLA y el MPE respectivamente), en vez de estar distribuidas aleatoriamente en el pársec central. Sin embargo, éstas observaciones no permiten obtener, hasta el momento, conclusiones definitivas respecto a este punto.
En un principio, se creía que actualmente no se están formando nuevas estrellas en el centro galáctico, aunque el disco circumnuclear de gas molecular que orbita el centro de la galaxia a unos dos pársecs de distancia pareciera ser un lugar favorable para que ocurran nuevas formaciones. Sin embargo, primero una investigación presentada en 2002 por los científicos Antony Stark y Chris Martin reveló que la densidad del gas en una región de 400 años luz alrededor del centro galáctico, concentrado en un anillo con varios millones de veces la masa del Sol, se acerca a la densidad crítica para la formación de nuevas estrellas, y finalmente estudios realizados con los telescopios de infrarrojos Spitzer y Herschel han acabado por mostrar la presencia de estrellas aún en formación en la región del centro galáctico.,[5] [6] y además en el caso de éste último telescopio cómo tal anillo es comparable al existente en el centro de otras galaxias espirales barradas cómo NGC 1097, aunque con una forma elíptica (100 parsecs * 60 parsecs), inclinado 40 grados y un tanto deformado, y perpendicular a los extremos de la barra de nuestra galaxia.[7] [8]
En consecuencia, Antony Stark y Chris Martin han predicho que en aproximadamente 200 millones de años habrá un episodio de brote estelar en el centro galáctico, lo que significa que se crearán rápidamente muchas estrellas, produciendo allí además una tasa de supernovas cientos de veces la actual. El brote estelar puede estar acompañado también de jets galácticos cuando la materia resultante caiga en el agujero negro central. Actualmente, se cree que se producen regularmente episodios de brotes estelares cada 500 millones de años en la Vía Láctea.

GARDEN TOUR

Welcome to the Garden of Eden. The people who make a living off the Bible, insist that the Garden is somewhere in Mesopotamia. They're full of it.
The Garden is the area of sky within a circle of stars called the Zodiac. To prove that point, we are going to visit many of the stars (pun intended) of the Bible. Thanks to Star Myths, we have available to us, an artist's depiction of the classical constellations in lifelike form. So there is no need to decipher star patterns.
Before we start, the picture below helps to explain what you will be looking at. For charting convenience, astronomers treat the sky as if earth was enveloped inside a hollow ball they call the celestial sphere. For mapping purposes, the ball is cut into half along the Celestial equator, a plane concentric to earth's equator. There are two maps of the Garden, north and south.
The apparent movement of the stars depends on where you are and where the stars are on the celestial sphere. For example, if you are in the northern hemisphere, the stars around the North Pole are visible every night. Stars at the equator can be seen in the north and south hemispheres.

The picture above (Figure 1) shows another circle called the ecliptic. It represents the path of the sun as seen from earth. The picture below (Figures 2 and 3) shows how the constellations of the zodiac lie on the ecliptic, the sun's path. Notice how the ecliptic rises and descends below the equatorial plane. Viewed from earth, the sun travels in the path of two arcs each day.
Where the equator and the ecliptic cross, marks the time when the sun enters the spring and fall equinox; the spring equinox sets the zero hour. As earth moves in its yearly orbit, the constellations appear to shift one position each month.

1N. The Flaming sword
When God sent Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden, he placed a flaming sword to guard the entrance. Astronomically, when Adam (Bootes) and Eve (Virgo) fall below the horizon, Perseus rises from the east with his sword as if to be chasing them away. The description of his flaming sword can be explained by the fact that when Perseus rises from the horizon, there is a meteor shower, known as the Perseids, which appears to stream from his constellation. Notice the similarity in names between Perseus and Perseids. For a description of cherubim, see [11N].
24He drove out the man; and at the east of the garden of Eden he placed the cherubim, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life. (Gen. 3:24)
1N. The Passover Lamb
The entrance to the Garden is located at Aries the lamb. Moses was in Aries at the time of the ten Passover plagues. It was here when he told the Israelites to sacrifice a lamb and smear its blood on their front doors so the angel of death would pass them by.
21Then Moses called all the elders of Israel, and said to them, "Select lambs for yourselves according to your families, and kill the passover lamb. (Exodus 12:21)

John the Baptist calls Jesus the Lamb of God. Jesus is the Christian equivalent to the Passover Lamb.

1N. David and Goliath
To the left of Aries is the hideous sight of a man with a raised sword in one hand and an ugly head in the other. That is David with Goliath's head. Astronomers call it Perseus. The head he is holding is the head of the snake haired monster Medussa.
51Then David ran and stood over the Philistine, and took his sword and drew it out of its sheath, and killed him, and cut off his head with it. When the Philistines saw that their champion was dead, they fled. (1 Sam. 17:51)
1N. David and Bathsheba
Just above Perseus is the constellation Andromeda. In myth she was known for her beauty. When David was on the roof of the king's house he saw a beautiful woman bathing. When he inquired who she was, she was identified as Bathsheba, the wife of Uriah the Hittite. David sent for her and lay with her. Within a short time she found herself pregnant.
2It happened, late one afternoon, when David arose from his couch and was walking upon the roof of the king's house, that he saw from the roof a woman bathing; and the woman was very beautiful.
3And David sent and inquired about the woman. And one said, "Is not this Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite?"
4So David sent messengers, and took her; and she came to him, and he lay with her. (Now she was purifying herself from her uncleanness.) Then she returned to her house.
5And the woman conceived; and she sent and told David, "I am with child." (2 Sam. 11:2-5)
David solved his problem by having Uriah sent to the front lines of battle where he would meet certain death.
14In the morning David wrote a letter to Joab, and sent it by the hand of Uriah.
15In the letter he wrote, "Set Uriah in the forefront of the hardest fighting, and then draw back from him, that he may be struck down, and die." (2 Sam. 11:14-15)
2N. Golden Calf
Taurus the bull was the place where the Israelites made the Golden Calf. When Moses came down the mountain with the two tablets he saw the Israelites dancing around the calf.
He was so angry he broke the tablets God made and made the people drink a concoction of powdered golden calf and water.
19And as soon as he came near the camp and saw the calf and the dancing, Moses' anger burned hot, and he threw the tables out of his hands and broke them at the foot of the mountain.
20And he took the calf which they had made, and burnt it with fire, and ground it to powder, and scattered it upon the water, and made the people of Israel drink it. (Exodus 32:19-20)
Moses wasn't satisfied. So he sent his priests with swords to avenge what they did.
28And the sons of Levi did according to the word of Moses; and there fell of the people that day about three thousand men. (Exodus 32:28)
Then God had to get his licks, so he sent a plague upon the people.
35And the LORD sent a plague upon the people, because they made the calf which Aaron made. (Exodus 32:35)
3N. Elijah
On the outer circle, the upper half of a man with a club in his hand is called Orion. In the Old Testament, Orion is known as Elijah. Elijah is best known for going to heaven by a whirlwind-he didn't die. You have to look closely for the whirlwind. It's the Milky Way which starts just behind Orion, bends across Perseus [1] and flows up to [11] Aquila the eagle.
11And as they still went on and talked, behold, a chariot of fire and horses of fire separated the two of them. And Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. (2 Kings 6:11)
3N. Son of Man
Another famous person connected with the Milky Way is Jesus' Son of man. Prophecies about the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory describe Orion and the Milky Way. They can be seen on a clear dark night with a new moon at around the third week in December. Orion is easily visible on almost any winter night. For details, see Son of Man
24"But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light,
25and the stars will be falling from heaven, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken.
26<And then they will see the Son of man coming in clouds with great power and glory. (Mark 13:24)
3N. David and Jonathan
We turn our attention now to the Gemini twins where David and Jonathan had a homosexual love affair. The Bible is not explicit with the details, but there if enough to tell the tale.
When they first met, Jonathan stripped himself naked in front of David.
3Then Jonathan made a covenant with David, because he loved him as his own soul.
4And Jonathan stripped himself of the robe that was upon him, and gave it to David, and his armor, and even his sword and his bow and his girdle. (1 Sam. 18:3-4)
Jonathan's father, Saul was angry at his son for shaming his mother's nakedness.
30Then Saul's anger was kindled against Jonathan, and he said to him, "You son of a perverse, rebellious woman, do I not know that you have chosen the son of Jesse to your own shame, and to the shame of your mother's nakedness? (1 Sam. 20:30)
Next to a stone heap, they were laying on the ground kissing. In biblespeak, stone heaps are usually phallic symbols.

The lion you are looking at is the one Samson killed. For those not familiar with Samson, he had the strength of Hercules, which is where this tale came from. In the Greek myth, Hercules killed the Nemean lion as one of his twelve labors.
5Then Samson went down with his father and mother to Timnah, and he came to the vineyards of Timnah. And behold, a young lion roared against him;
6and the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and he tore the lion asunder as one tears a kid; and he had nothing in his hand. But he did not tell his father or his mother what he had done. (Judges 14:5-6)
5N. Deep
Hydra is the largest constellation in the sky. It is split in two halves with its head in the north hemisphere and the rest of its long snaking body in the south. Genesis 1:2 calls it deep which translates to tehom. Tehom is related to Tiamet, the primeval dragon goddess in the Babylonian epic Enuma Elish. In the epic, the supreme god Marduk defeated Tiamet, whose body personified the primeval ocean. When she was split in half, the second half became the sky.
1In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
2The earth was without form and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep; and the Spirit of God was moving over the face of the waters. (Gen. 1:1-2)
In the same way, God split the waters in two, and called the second half, "heaven".
6And God said, "Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters."
7And God made the firmament and separated the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament. And it was so.
8And God called the firmament Heaven. And there was evening and there was morning, a second day. (Gen. 1:6-8)
5N. Leviathan
The description of Leviathan as a twisting serpent and as the dragon of the sea points to Hydra. Presumably, God's sword cut him in half.
1In that day the LORD with his hard and great and strong sword will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent, Leviathan the twisting serpent, and he will slay the dragon that is in the sea. (Isaiah 27:1)
6N. Eve
Eve was the first woman to be created and the original virgin. At Virgo she appears with an outstretched hand as if to be offering the forbidden fruit.
6So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate; and she also gave some to her husband, and he ate. (Gen. 3:6)
6N. Virgin Mary
Because Virgo lies on the sun's ecliptic, she is the most important. Notice how she is lying prostrate, as if she is in the missionary position, waiting for God to lay upon her. See When Was Jesus Born
18Now the birth of Jesus Christ took place in this way. When his mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be with child of the Holy Spirit; (Matt. 1:18)
7N. Elisha and the Bears
In starlore, Bootes is known as the Bear Driver. To the right at [9], there are two bears, Ursa Major and Ursa Minor. They are the two bears which Elisha sicked on some boys who called him baldhead. The bears killed forty-two boys.
23He went up from there to Bethel; and while he was going up on the way, some small boys came out of the city and jeered at him, saying, "Go up, you baldhead! Go up, you baldhead!"
24And he turned around, and when he saw them, he cursed them in the name of the LORD. And two she-bears came out of the woods and tore forty-two of the boys. (2 Kings 2:23-24)
7N. Eve's Birth
Bootes is also Adam in the Garden. His raised arm exposes his ribcage. God took one of those ribs and used it to create Eve. His outstretched arm also represents his accepting the forbidden fruit from Eve.
21So the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and while he slept took one of his ribs and closed up its place with flesh;
22and the rib which the LORD God had taken from the man he made into a woman (Gen. 2:21)
7N. Joseph
As Mary's husband, Bootes stands alongside Mary.
18Now the birth of Jesus Christ took place in this way. When his mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be with child of the Holy Spirit; (Matt. 1:18)
8N. The serpent
There is a famous event when the Serpent convinces Eve that the forbidden fruit will not kill her. Serpens the serpent is at her feet as if to be talking to her.
1Now the serpent was more subtle than any other wild creature that the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, "Did God say, 'You shall not eat of any tree of the garden'?"
2And the woman said to the serpent, "We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden;
3but God said, 'You shall not eat of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.'"
4But the serpent said to the woman, "You will not die.
5For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil. (Gen. 3:1-5)
8N. Evil Herod
Serpents are evil creatures, and who could be more evil that snake Herod, the man who tried to kill Jesus.
16Then Herod, when he saw that he had been tricked by the wise men, was in a furious rage, and he sent and killed all the male children in Bethlehem and in all that region who were two years old or under, according to the time which he had ascertained from the wise men. (Matt. 2:16)
9N. The Tree of Life
In the middle of the Garden is the tree of life which we know as the star Polaris. In earlier times, the star Thuban was located at the North Pole but due to earth's precession, it declined. Thuban is located on Draco the Dragon's tail, so it was called the tree of good and evil. Genesis depicts it decline as the fruit which Adam and Eve picked.
9And out of the ground the LORD God made to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight and good for food, the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. (Gen. 2:9)
10N. Serpents Seed
When God punished the serpent, he put him above all the other animals. The highest spot in the garden is at the North Pole where Draco the serpent is located. Notice his head is under Hercules' foot. As they revolve around the pole, when Hercules is on top, he is bruising the serpent's head. When the serpent is on top, it is bruising Hercules' heel. What makes the serpent so sinister in the minds of ancients is that in the north sky, it is visible every night as if to be lurking everywhere.
14The LORD God said to the serpent, "Because you have done this, cursed are you above all cattle, and above all wild animals; upon your belly you shall go, and dust you shall eat all the days of your life.
15I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel." (Gen. 3:14-15)
11N. Cherubim
The Cherubim is a very large creature that covers the entire Garden. So we have to look in four directions. Ezekiel says it has four faces, the face of a man, a lion, an ox and an eagle. At [2] is the ox. At [5] is the lion. At [11] is the eagle. And in the south garden at [2] is the man. Combined, they protect the four cardinal points.
10As for the likeness of their faces, each had the face of a man in front; the four had the face of a lion on the right side, the four had the face of an ox on the left side, and the four had the face of an eagle at the back. (Ezekiel 1:10)
1S. Jonah's Whale
Cetus is the great fish who swallowed Jonah. In that quadrant called the sea, Jonah is likely represented by Aquarius the waterman.
17And the LORD appointed a great fish to swallow up Jonah; and Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights. (Jonah 1:17)
2S. Jesus
The original birth of Jesus was marked when the sun entered the stars of Pisces the fishes. Thus Jesus is the sun in the age of Pisces. So when Jesus says he will be with us until the close of the age, he meant the age of Pisces. The sun will enter the Age of Aquarius sometime in the second decade of the second millennium. See When Was Jesus Born
18And Jesus came and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
19Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age." (Matt. 28:20)
3S. John the Baptist
Above the fish is Aquarius the waterman. That pitcher of water he is pouring symbolizes John the Baptist, pouring water on Jesus (Pisces [2]) as if to be baptizing him. See John the Baptist
1In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judea,
2"Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." (Matt. 3:1-2)
4S. Nativity
A well known scene around Christmas time is the Nativity-baby Jesus in a basket, surrounded by his parents and a few goats, donkeys and lambs. In Capricorn the sea goat is where it happened. Capricorn is the time of December 25 when the sun emerges from its three darkest days. As a place where livestock are kept, the goat symbolizes the manger.
15When the angels went away from them into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, "Let us go over to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has made known to us."
16And they went with haste, and found Mary and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger. (Luke 2:15-16)
5S. Crucifixion
That hoofed man with the bow and arrow is known as Sagittarius the archer. Sagittarius is the time of the year when the sun allegorically dies at the winter solstice, the darkest days of winter. This is the place of the Skull, where the archer's arrows nailed Jesus to the cross.
33And when they came to the place which is called The Skull, there they crucified him, and the criminals, one on the right and one on the left. (Luke 23:33)
Figuratively the cross it is the imaginary lines of the equinoxes crossing the solstices. Thus allegorically, the sun is crucified on the cross at the time of the winter solstice. The Christian cross represents the length of the four seasons. See Gospel Zodiac
6S. Last Supper
The house of Scorpio is where Jesus had his last supper. It is the last stop before the sun enters Sagittarius where it is going to die. So when Jesus said his time was at hand and he will keep the Passover at "your" house, he meant the time when the sun is in the house of Scorpio.
18He said, "Go into the city to a certain one, and say to him, 'The Teacher says, My time is at hand; I will keep the passover at your house with my disciples.'" (Matt. 26: 18)
7S. Noah's Ark
It takes a big boat to hold two of every animal on earth, and the constellation Argo Navis has the capacity. It is so big, that it was divided into three constellations: Carina the Keel, Puppis the Stern and Vela the Sail.
13And God said to Noah, "I have determined to make an end of all flesh; for the earth is filled with violence through them; behold, I will destroy them with the earth.
14Make yourself an ark of gopher wood; make rooms in the ark, and cover it inside and out with pitch. (Gen. 6:13-14)
Argo Navis and the Sea is the source of a multitude of ancient flood myths. The one that relates to the name Argo Navis is called "Jason and the Argonauts". It's an adventure story about the crew's quest to find the Golden Fleece.
The south Garden has many constellations relating to water. On the second day of creation, God separated the waters and called the upper half the firmament. These constellations symbolize birth or evil, depending on where they are in the sun cycle.
6And God said, "Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters."
7And God made the firmament and separated the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament. And it was so.
8And God called the firmament Heaven. And there was evening and there was morning, a second day. (Gen. 1:6-8)
8S. The Dove
After the rain stopped, Noah sent a dove out three times to find land. The first time the dove came back; the second time it returned with an olive leaf; and the third time it did not return. So Noah knew it found land. That dove is otherwise known as Columba. In the Jason and the Argonauts legend, Jason sent a dove to see if it could fly through some dangerous rocks.
6At the end of forty days Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made,
7and sent forth a raven; and it went to and fro until the waters were dried up from the earth.
8Then he sent forth a dove from him, to see if the waters had subsided from the face of the ground;
9but the dove found no place to set her foot, and she returned to him to the ark, for the waters were still on the face of the whole earth. So he put forth his hand and took her and brought her into the ark with him.
10He waited another seven days, and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark;
11and the dove came back to him in the evening, and lo, in her mouth a freshly plucked olive leaf; so Noah knew that the waters had subsided from the earth.
12Then he waited another seven days, and sent forth the dove; and she did not return to him any more. (Gen. 8:6-12)
9S. Star of Bethlehem
At the bottom half of Orion, there are three stars at its waist. To the right there is a dog with a big eye. Those are your three wise men and the star of Bethlehem. What is unique about the star in the dog's eye is that it is the brightest star in the sky next to the sun. A line through the three wise men points to the dog's eye, Sirius. On December 25 in the afternoon, the three wise men rise above the horizon. An hour later, Sirius ascends above the horizon. A straight line through all four stars, points to the house of baby Jesus. See Star of Bethlehem
9When they had heard the king they went their way; and lo, the star which they had seen in the East went before them, till it came to rest over the place where the child was. (Matt. 2:9)
10S. Red Sea
Among the outstanding events in the Bible is the time when pharaoh's army pursued the Israelites across the Red Sea. There is a general consensus among scholars that the crossing could not have been across the actual Red Sea. Among many other impossible obstacles, like trekking through a waterless desert, it is 150-200 miles long, a mile and a half deep, and too salty to be potable. They speculate on alternate routes, but the real answer is the writer didn't know his geography and had a tendency to exaggerate.
There is no speculation here. Moses was another sun hero like Jesus. At that time the sun was in the house of Taurus. Located in Taurus is the constellation Eridanus the river. See Moses' Sun Signs
18But God led the people round by the way of the wilderness toward the Red Sea. And the people of Israel went up out of the land of Egypt equipped for battle. (Exodus 13:18)
4"Pharaoh's chariots and his host he cast into the sea; and his picked officers are sunk in the Red Sea. (Exodus 15:4)
10S. THe Jordan River
Eridanus represents the Jordan River when Joshua crossed it into the Promised Land
1Early in the morning Joshua rose and set out from Shittim, with all the people of Israel; and they came to the Jordan, and lodged there before they passed over. (Joshua 3:1)

Cherubim
What are they? Ezekiel describes Cherubim as a composite of man, ox, lion and eagle. Opinions vary as to what they represent, or even if they are Cherubim. The According to one theory, the man is Aquarius, the ox is Taurus, the lion is Leo and the eagle is Ophiuchus in Scorpio-claiming that the eagle is an ancient form of Ophiuchus. On the surface, it seems to make sense. Each of the constellations is three months apart as if they represent the four cardinal directions. It's bothersome that the writer doesn't explain his source of the claim that Ophiuchus is the eagle. Then there is the theory that based on the Sumerian Epic of Gilgamesh, Scorpio is the man. This boundary stone below left shows a scorpion with a man's body. Below right, Wikipedia suggests Cherubim where originally statues found in pairs protecting doorways. That would apply as a statue representation.
10He rode on a cherub, and flew; he came swiftly upon the wings of the wind. (Psalm 18:10)
23The nave and the holy place had each a double door.
24The doors had two leaves apiece, two swinging leaves for each door.
25And on the doors of the nave were carved cherubim and palm trees, such as were carved on the walls; and there was a canopy of wood in front of the vestibule outside. (Ezek. 23-25)
I suggest that all of the above theories are false. The evidence on this page argues for Cherubim composed of Taurus the bull, Leo the lion, Orion the man and Aquila the eagle. Genesis tells us that Cherubim were stationed "to guard the way to the Tree of Life." The evidence will demonstrate that the way is the Milky Way. Each is stationed at a strategic point on the Milky Way: beginning, end and two flanks. There is a fifth constellation, Perseus with his sword, who guards the middle.

Cherubim described
Genesis tells us Cherubim were placed in the Garden of Eden to guard the way to the tree of life (not the Tree of Life itself). God placed a flaming sword turning every way to guard the way to the tree of life. In other words, there is a path of some sort to the Tree of Life. We will return to the sword later.
24He drove out the man; and at the east of the garden of Eden he placed the cherubim, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life. (Gen. 3:24)
In chapter one, Ezekiel describes "living creatures" as having the face of a man in the front, the face of a lion on the right, the face of an ox on the left, and the face of an eagle at the back. He doesn't explicitly call them Cherubim. We need more information.
The cloud describes the Milky Way. "A stormy wind out of the north" means a spirit from the north side of the Zodiac. Of course, terms like "burning coals of fire" and "flash of lightning" refer to the stars.
4As I looked, behold, a stormy wind came out of the north, and a great cloud, with brightness round about it, and fire flashing forth continually, and in the midst of the fire, as it were gleaming bronze.
5And from the midst of it came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance: they had the form of men,
6but each had four faces, and each of them had four wings.
7Their legs were straight, and the soles of their feet were like the sole of a calf's foot; and they sparkled like burnished bronze.
8Under their wings on their four sides they had human hands. And the four had their faces and their wings thus:
9their wings touched one another; they went every one straight forward, without turning as they went.
10As for the likeness of their faces, each had the face of a man in front; the four had the face of a lion on the right side, the four had the face of an ox on the left side, and the four had the face of an eagle at the back.
11Such were their faces. And their wings were spread out above; each creature had two wings, each of which touched the wing of another, while two covered their bodies.
12And each went straight forward; wherever the spirit would go, they went, without turning as they went.

The River of Heaven described
In the passage below, the river that interests us is the River Pishon. We recognize the Tigris and Euphrates. As for the River Gihon, the Zodiac has a second river in the southern hemisphere called the River Eridanus (not shown here).
10A river flowed out of Eden to water the garden, and there it divided and became four rivers.
11The name of the first is Pishon; it is the one which flows around the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;
12and the gold of that land is good; bdellium and onyx stone are there.
13The name of the second river is Gihon; it is the one which flows around the whole land of Cush.
14And the name of the third river is Tigris, which flows east of Assyria. And the fourth river is the Euphrates. (Gen. 2:10-14)
3Now the cherubim were standing on the south side of the house, when the man went in; and a cloud filled the inner court.
4And the glory of the LORD went up from the cherubim to the threshold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the glory of the LORD. (Ezek. 10:3-4)
Ezekiel sees Cherubim by the river Chebar. Each has four faces and four wings. The firmament (celestial sphere) was over their heads. The best that I can make of the number four is that it represents four cardinal directions as the constellations rotate. The wheels symbolise the stars turning around the pole star.
15And the cherubim mounted up. These were the living creatures that I saw by the river Chebar.
16And when the cherubim went, the wheels went beside them; and when the cherubim lifted up their wings to mount up from the earth, the wheels did not turn from beside them.
17When they stood still, these stood still, and when they mounted up, these mounted up with them; for the spirit of the living creatures was in them. (Ezek. 10:15-17)
Ezekiel identifies the living creatures by the river Chebar as Cherubim.
20These were the living creatures that I saw underneath the God of Israel by the river Chebar; and I knew that they were cherubim.
21Each had four faces, and each four wings, and underneath their wings the semblance of human hands.
22And as for the likeness of their faces, they were the very faces whose appearance I had seen by the river Chebar. They went every one straight forward.
22Over the heads of the living creatures there was the likeness of a firmament, shining like crystal, spread out above their heads.
23And under the firmament their wings were stretched out straight, one toward another; and each creature had two wings covering its body. (Ezek. 10:20-23)
Putting it alltogether
We have a map of the north celestial sphere below and a lot of descriptions from Genesis and Ezekiel. For the thesis to work, the descriptions should fit the map. I started with the assumption that the Milky Way is the river of heaven by coloring it blue. If it is a wrong assumption, the other pieces won't fit. The picture is inverted from the way we would see it from earth. The arc at the bottom represents the sun's ecliptic rising above us. Assume a viewing position in the middle on earth looking up towards the arc in the south.
Three descriptions fit the Milky Way. Genesis says the River Pishon flows out of Eden - so does the Milky Way in the sense that it extends beyond the Zodiac. Ezekiel tells us to look for Cherubim by the River Chebar. Genesis says the Cherubim and the flaming sword are in Eden to guard the way to the Tree of Life - the Milky Way. The flaming sword is on the east side where Genesis placed it.
From our viewer position, as Ezekiel described, we see the face of Orion in front of us, the eagle in the back, the lion to the right, and the ox to the left. Cherubim are guarding the river of heaven, or as Genesis put it, the way to the Tree of Life. The Tree of Life will be identified below.
Revelation calls the Milky Way the "water of life" that flows "from the throne of God." To see where the throne is, follow Orion from the picture above to the picture below. At the high end of the Milky Way, the sun rises over Orion's body, to where his head would be. The outline of Lepus below looks like a throne, and the outline of Gemini looks like a pharaoh's hat.
1Then he showed me the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb
2through the middle of the street of the city; also, on either side of the river, the tree of life with its twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. (Rev. 22:1-2)
So then, the Milky Way is the river to the Tree of Life. In other parlance, it is the cloud of heaven from where Jesus will come to whisk believers off to heaven. It is the path that takes the souls of the dead to meet God. Perseus with his sword guards the river in the middle. The Cherubim guard the river at each end and at the sides. The lion is on the right and the ox is on the left, both watching the river. Orion, the man, guards the river by the front and Aquila the eagle guards the back. When the sun is at the summer solstice over Orion's body, God is said to be on his throne.
16"O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, who art enthroned above the cherubim, thou art the God, thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; thou hast made heaven and earth. (Isa. 37:16)
Genesis places the Tree of Life in the midst of the garden. That would imply in the center at the pole. We can imagine the imaginary pole line as the trunk of the tree. The celestial sphere or firmament represents the branches. And, according to Revelation, the twelve constellations of the Zodiac are the fruit.
9And out of the ground the LORD God made to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight and good for food, the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. (Gen. 2:9)
 The brightest stars in these constellations are fairly bright. With #1 ranking as the brightest:
Aldebaran, 0.85 pale red, #14
Altair, 0.77, white, #12,
Betelgeuse 0.5 red, #10
Mirfak, 1.8, brilliant yellow, #33
Regulus 1.4 blue-white, #21
Perhaps they serve to light the way up
the River of Life.

Great Celestial Conjunction
The most important diagram that Herschel has discovered originates from the Hebrew version of the Key of Solomon (Mafteah Shelomoh):

According to Herschel, the eight-pointed cross depicted at the 10 o’clock position in the left upper corner of the diagram is exactly the same token used in the diagram depicted below and supposedly represents the constellation Orion.

Herschel claims that the symbolic representation of Orion is an eight-pointed cross. While the three belt stars certainly align and the four ‘corner’ stars can be connected to form diagonals, Herschel has been very creative to demonstrate how the six tiny stars that form the ‘Sword of Orion’ form yet the eighth radii of the eight-pointed cross. The problem is that there are no other known historic references that identified Orion with an eight-pointed cross.

About the square with the two semi circles in diagram A of the Hebrew Key of Solomon, Herschel writes the following on his website.
The meaning of the square and the two curves on each side of the star most likely represent sunrise and its path to sunset - the Ecliptic.
We fully support Herschel’s view that the two semicircles in between the two slopes represent the Sun. The glyph in the centre of diagram A looks very familiar with the Egyptian Akhet glyph where the Sun was depicted in between similar slopes. The Akhet glyph represented the rising and setting Sun on the horizon, and in hieroglyphic texts it is often translated as ‘horizon’.
The Sun on the right represents the rising Sun in the East while the Sun on the left represents the setting Sun in the West. Only twice does the Sun rise and set exactly at the cardinal directions East and West, and this is during the Equinox. We therefore surmise that the two semicircles in the square of diagram A symbolise the Equinox. Following the same reasoning, the semicircles in diagram B should also represent the Sun. Wayne fails to give any reasonable explanation as to why these semicircles occur around a symbol that represents Orion. The semicircles representing the Sun at the corners of the square in the South and North region of the circle (globe) and its diagonals that form a cross could mean either one of two possible things:
• It represents the Solstices
Notice that the diagonal in the upper left corner has two instead of one cross bar through its axis. This diagonal seems to be special and is associated with the Summer Solstice since its sunset occurs in the North-West, the region where the double cross bars occur. The axis connecting the cardinal directions East and West represents the Equinox axis.
The same double cross bars have been used in the eight pointed cross in diagram A. This time however the double cross bars occur at the axis representing the Equinox. This corresponds with the central depiction of the Equinox Sun in diagram A. We therefore suggest that diagram A is referring to the Equinox.

Considering this fact, the eight-pointed cross could also mean:
• The Sun at the Galactic Cross in the precession cycle.

The blue cross represents the Galactic Cross while the red cross represents the equinox-solstice axis or Earth Cross. The orange circle represents the precession cycle. During a Great Year, the Sun resides exactly four times on the Galactic Equator, twice at an Equinox and twice at a Solstice. Put in other words, during one revolution of the Earth Cross against the backdrop of the fixed Galactic Cross, the crosses overlap exactly four times. The symbology of the square with its four corners and its four suns attached to these corners could therefore represent these four Great Celestial Conjunctions of a Great Year.

La Luna en su giro alrededor de la Tierra presenta diferentes aspectos visuales según sea su posición con respecto al Sol.Cuando la Luna está entre la Tierra y el Sol, tiene orientada hacia la Tierra su cara no iluminada (Novilunio). Una semana más tarde la Luna ha dado 1/4 de vuelta y presenta media cara iluminada (Cuarto Creciente). Otra semana más y la Luna ocupa una posición alineada con el Sol y la Tierra, por lo cual desde la Tierra se aprecia toda la cara iluminada (Plenilunio o Luna llena). Una semana más tarde se produce el cuarto menguante. Transcurridas unas cuatro semanas estamos otra vez en Novilunio. La zona que limita la luz y la sombra se denomina terminador. La imagen de la Luna tal como se ilustra en la mayoría de los textos publicados está "al revés" de la realidad cuando está alta en el cielo, cerca de cruzar el meridiano, como la ven observadores en el hemisferio sur.
Una fórmula mnemotécnica útil en el sur: la Luna Creciente tiene forma de "C", y la "Decreciente" (menguante) tiene forma de "D".
La Luna creciente o menguante cerca del horizonte aparenta una "U", en el hemisferio sur así como en el norte.
Nótese cómo el crater Tycho con sus visibles radiales aparenta estar "arriba" para un observador del hemisferio sur. En imágenes publicadas generalmente se ilustra "abajo".

- Luna No. 1: Luna Nueva o Novilunio, también llamada "Luna Nueva Astronómica" o "Luna Negra", corresponde a la Luna Nueva Verdadera; esta fase de la Luna normalmente es imposible verla a simple vista ya que se encuentra oculta tras el resplandor solar, sólo es posible observarla cuando ocurre un eclipse total de Sol, los cuales acontecen durante esta fase lunar sólo cuando las condiciones dadas son las adecuadas.
- Luna No. 2: Luna Nueva Visible, también llamada en el argot popular "Luna Creciente", corresponde a la Luna Nueva Tradicional y es la primera aparición de la Luna en el cielo, 18 o 30 horas después de haberse producido la posición de "Luna Nueva Astronómica". Esta fase de la Luna se podrá ver en el cielo hacia el oeste, una vez ya ocultado el Sol, justo por encima del crepúsculo aún restante. Tiene forma de pequeña guadaña o cuerno. Esta fase de la Luna es la que se utiliza para dar comienzo al primer día de cada mes lunar.
- Luna No. 3: Cuarto Creciente. Tiene su orto (salida del astro en el horizonte) por el este a las 12 del mediodía (hora astronómica local, no necesariamente hora oficial), su cenit se produce a las 6 de la tarde y su ocaso a las 12 de la medianoche. La parte luminosa de la Luna durante esta fase tiene la forma de un círculo partido justo a la mitad (semi-círculo).
- Luna No. 4: Luna Gibosa Creciente, una vez ya pasada la fase del Cuarto Creciente, la Luna va tomando progresivamente día tras día, una forma convexa por ambos lados en su parte luminosa, perdiendo ese lado recto que poseía durante la fase anterior (Luna No. 3).
- Luna No. 5: Luna Llena o Plenilunio, es cuando la concavidad de la parte luminosa de la Luna se logra completar en su totalidad hasta formar un círculo. Su orto es aproximadamente a las 6:00 p.m., el cenit lo alcanza aproximadamente durante la medianoche y se oculta cerca de las 6:00 de la mañana. La Luna Llena viene a marcar justo lo que es la mitad del mes lunar (14 días, 18 horas, 21 minutos 36 segundos).
- Luna No. 6: Luna Gibosa Menguante, pasada ya la fase correspondiente a la Luna Llena, la parte luminosa de la Luna comenzará a menguar con el correr de los días, tomando así de nuevo —igual como en la Luna No. 4— una apariencia de una Luna-Cóncava (gibosa) esta vez en su fase decreciente.
- Luna No. 7: Cuarto Menguante, exactamente igual que el Cuarto Creciente, pero en sentido contrario. Además, tiene su orto a las 12 de la medianoche, alcanza el cenit en el cielo a las 6 de la mañana y su ocaso se produce a las 12 del mediodía, es decir, esta fase lunar corresponde al periodo de días durante el cual es posible observar a la Luna en el cielo durante las horas de la mañana.
- Luna No. 8: Luna Menguante, conocida también como "Creciente Menguante" o "Luna Vieja" (este último término poco conocido) ya que es idéntica a la Luna Nueva Visible, pero en sentido opuesto. La Luna Menguante sólo es posible verla de madrugada, hacia el Este, justo por encima de la Aurora o Alba y antes de que salga el Sol. Tiene apariencia de pequeña guadaña.
- Luna No. 9: Luna Negra, corresponde a la última fase visible de la Luna desde la Tierra, comenzando así, de nuevo, otro ciclo de fases lunares.
El tiempo transcurrido entre dos novilunios se llama "Mes Lunar" o Mes Sinódico y es de 29,53 días solares medios, lo que es lo mismo decir: 29 días, 12 horas, 43 minutos y 12 segundos. Las fases de la Luna tienen mucha relación con el establecimiento del calendario y sus diferentes periodos como semana y mes. Las fases lunares constituyen la base del calendario musulmán y judío, entre otros.

Los diferentes planetas también tienen sus fases. Galileo fue el primero en descubrir que Venus presentaba fases como la Luna, argumento que apoyaba la Teoría heliocéntrica. Los planetas en órbitas interiores a la terrestre (Mercurio y Venus) pueden presentar fases elevadas. Una curiosidad entre el ciclo solar anual y el ciclo lunar, es que éstos vuelven a repetirse, el mismo día del año y la misma fase lunar, cada 21 años. Debido a las diferentes condiciones geométricas de posición relativa entre el Sol, la Tierra y los planetas en órbitas exteriores, éstos no poseen fases apreciables observados desde la Tierra.
Los planetas cuyas órbitas se encuentran dentro de nuestros hogares (Mercurio y Venus) también presentan fases cuando son observados desde nuestro planeta. De hecho, también la Tierra muestra esta fenomenología a un observador exterior. Éste fue el caso de las imágenes tomadas por la Mars Global Surveyor en el año 2003, donde se ve la Tierra y la Luna en quintos.

Introduction
There are four major celestial conjunctions in Plato’s Great Year (25920 years) that were of interest to the ancients since they divide the Great Year into four epochs or Great Ages of 6480 years each.
In the paper ‘Crucifying the Earth on the Galactic Cross’ (Smelyakov, Wicherink 2006) these four extremely rare celestial conjunctions in a Great Year were called the Great Celestial Conjunctions (GCC). These Great Celestial Conjunctions coincide with the moments in the precession cycle that the Earth Cross of the Zodiac aligns with the Galactic Cross of the Solar Zodiac.
A Great Celestial Conjunction coincides with the Sun aligning with the Galactic Equator at solstices or equinoxes. There are two places on the ecliptic where the Sun can align with the Galactic Equator since the ecliptic crosses the Milky Way at two places and hence we discern two different types of galactic alignments in a Great Year:
- An alignment of the Sun with the Galactic Equator in the constellation ScorpioSagittarius near the Galactic Center. This alignment corresponds with the Sun residing in the Dark Rift during the alignment.
- An alignment of the Sun with the Galactic Equator in the constellation GeminiTaurus near the Galactic Anti-Center. This alignment corresponds with the Sun residing on the Milky Way near the Pleiades during the alignment.
Whenever an alignment of the Sun with the Galactic Equator occurs on an equinox or solstice day, this alignment will correspond with a Great Celestial Conjunctions as mentioned in the paper ‘Crucifying the Earth on the Galactic Cross’
The last Great Celestial Conjunction occurred in our own current era around 1998 and this conjunction is also known as ‘Galactic Alignment’ that was popularized by John Major Jenkins in a book with the same title. Galactic Alignment is the winter solstice Sun’s alignment with the Galactic Equator when the Sun is in the Dark Rift. This alignment was encoded into the Maya sacred site Izapa in Mexico.

Since the conjunction of the Sun with the Galactic Equator happens twice a year, we also had a summer solstice Galactic Alignment happening around the last GCC in the year 1998. During this alignment the Sun was on the Milky Way near the Galactic Anti-Center, which in turn is close to the Pleiades.

In this article we will reveal how Stonehenge may encode exactly this summer solstice alignment of the Sun with the Galactic Equator. It’s a summer solstice version of John Major Jenkins winter solstice Galactic Alignment.
The Pleiades will become the key in unlocking the secrets of the summer solstice Galactic Alignment of Stonehenge. Stonehenge may not be the only ancient site that encodes the current summer solstice Galactic Alignment; we have every reason to suspect that there may be more.

Wayne Herschel’s monumental work on the ancient star maps
In 2003 Wayne Herschel published his monumental work ‘The Hidden Records’. This book is the culmination of years of research into many ancient sites around the world. His book presents the recovery of ancient star maps that were encoded on the land following the ancient Hermetic principle ‘as above, so below’. Herschel’s book shows that a pyramid building culture must have once thrived on this planet since hundredths of pyramids have already been discovered all over the globe and in the last decade alone ‘new’ pyramids have been unearthed in unexpected places such as in Bosnia-Herzegovina in Europe.
Herschel discovered that all the stars along the Nile in Egypt actually mimic constellations along the Milky Way. For some reason the Egyptian star map seemed to put extra emphasis on the constellation Pleiades that corresponds with the pyramids at Abusir south of Giza along the Nile.
Much to his surprise Herschel discovered more ancient sites around the world that had been using the Pleiades as a central theme. Among these sites were:
But the same recurring Pleiades theme was also discovered in:
- Lascaux Halls of the Bulls cave in France
- Sardinian cave paintings
- Sumerian clay tablets
- The Nineveh disc
- Egyptian Dendera zodiac
Herschel interpreted this recurring ‘Pleiades theme’ as a way shower to a certain star, a solar system with a G2 class star that could have an Earth like planet, the home planet of the extraterrestrials that he believes were the architects of all the ancient monuments. His conclusion was drawn after studying ancient artifacts and ancient texts that clearly are suggestive of an extraterrestrial presence in ancient times here on Earth.
The author of this article does not object to such a view, however I do think that Herschel’s interpretation of the ‘Pleiades theme’ may be wrong in this sense that it is not likely to express a place in the sky, a ‘mystery’ star, the home of extraterrestrials that once settled on Earth as Herschel wants us to believe.
Missing aspects of Herschel’s star map interpretation
In interpreting the meaning of the Pleiades theme in the ancients sites that Herschel investigated, one important factor seem to have been overlooked and that’s the astronomical significance of these sites. Therefore Herschel’s ‘mystery’ star theory is most likely incorrect considering the following facts:
- All the ancient sites dealing with the Pleiades star map were astronomical and astrological sites with equinox and solstice alignments that were not taken into consideration by Herschel when decoding the star maps.
- The ‘mystery star in Egypt near Abusir corresponds to the temple of Ra. The consensus by Egyptologists is that Ra must be associated with the Sun in the Egyptians texts and not with some hypothetical G2 class star. In addition the alignment of the Sun Temple at Abusir is an anomaly in his star map theory, it does not point into the same direction the other ‘mystery‘ stars do in the rest of his star maps.
- When Herschel checked his astronomical software for his ‘mystery’ star he couldn’t find a star close enough to match his ‘mystery’ star. Using new software and rewinding the clock back 17.500 years he finally succeeded and was able to make a match. If the ‘mystery’ star isn’t a star at all as we are suspecting, it comes as no surprise that Herschel wasn’t able to locate this star in the first place.
Bringing the astronomical significance of the ancient sites to the forefront will reveal a new and very compelling significance of this ‘Pleiades theme’ in these ancient sites that were tracking the summer solstices!
A new light on Herschel’s mystery star
It’s my hypothesis that Herschel’s ‘mystery’ star near the Pleiades in fact represents a midpoint between the Pleiades and the place where ‘the Sun is on the Milky Way’. The ‘mystery’ star therefore represents a way shower to a ‘precession anchor’ that can be used to determine a special moment in the Great Year as it connects the Pleiades with this ’precession anchor’.
The ‘mystery‘ star in fact is the Sun itself! Some of the ancient sites that Herschel mentions are built close to a river. Its my assumption that the river mimics the great river in the sky, the Milky Way. The summer solstice observatories such as Stonehenge were built close to the river to represent the ‘Sun on the Milky Way’. If the summer solstice observatory had been built in it’s correct position, it would have been built into the river (Milky Way) itself since this is the place where the Sun resides at Galactic Alignment. So there are obvious reasons as to why the ‘mystery star’ (the Sun) was built on the land and not in the river. The position of the ‘mystery’ star (monument) on the land that aligns the Pleiades (monument) with the Milky Way (river) is in fact hinting at:

that coincides with the last Great Celestial Conjunction!
The Sun on the ecliptic aligns with the Milky Way in the constellation Taurus where the Pleiades are. This may explain why the Egyptians worshiped the celestial Bull and why so many other cultures around the world venerated the Pleiades.
The picture below is a view of the skies on the summer solstice sunrise around the last Great Celestial Conjunction (1998).

At summer solstice (June 21) of 2012, the Sun will be residing on the Milky Way near Taurus where the Pleiades are; it’s a summer solstice Galactic Alignment and the reverse situation of the better know winter solstice Galactic Alignment occurring six months later. Now let’s compare it with Herschel’s star map of the Pleiades:

Notice in picture 5 how the Pleiades on the left are pointing towards the rising Sun on the summer solstice of 1998 while the picture on the right is showing Herschel’s star map, it’s a recurring star map theme that has not only been found in Egypt but in other places around the world as well such as at Stonehenge and the Maya temple site Tikal in Guatemala.
Mystery star and position of the Sun on the ecliptic
On Herschel’s website we find proof for the hypothesis of this article that the so called ‘mystery’ star in Herschel’s star maps which he thinks refers to a star near the Pleiades, is in fact denoting the position of the Sun on the ecliptic.
On Herschel’s website the exact position of the Sun on the ecliptic is explained as follows: “between the bulls horns in Taurus when direction matches ancient sites” (See text bottom right in the image).
So the location where the ‘mystery’ star is pointing too is the place where:
THE SUN IS ON THE MILKY WAY AT SUMMER SOLSTICE 1998!
The summer solstice Sun of 1998 will be in between the horns of Taurus when the Sun is on the Milky Way (See picture 7)!

Herschel’s own website provides us with the arguments that our thesis may be correct and that the ‘mystery star’ in Herschel’s star maps is NOT a star near the Pleiades at all, but in fact is a way shower to the Sun on the ecliptic in between the horns of Taurus! This position is where the Sun is on the ecliptic at the summer solstice of 1998 at the last Great Celestial Conjunction!

To further test and proof the hypothesis that the Pleiades in Herschel’s star maps may be pointing towards the 1998 solstice sun on the Milky Way a template of the Pleiades was created using the free open source astronomy software Stellarium. Stellarium presents a realistic 3D representation of the sky similar to what we see with a naked eye observation of the stars. Stellarium will allow us to test out thesis.
The template (picture 8) is created from a screenshot of Stellarium at the moment of summer solstice 1998. The green line in this template is exactly aligning the stars Alcyone and Pleione with the 1998 summer solstice sun on the Milky Way. The orange line is a base line of the Pleiades constellation connecting the stars Taygeta, Maia and Alcyone of the Pleiades constellation with the stars HP 17832 and HP 17900.
This template will be tested on Stonehenge to see if the angle between the Pleiades and the solstice sun on the Milky Way has any significance with respect to Stonehenge.

Stonehenge
It is an established fact that Stonehenge was an astronomical observatory for both solar and lunar observations. One of its functions was the determination of the summer solstice date using the summer solstice sunrise. At the 21st of June the rising sun in the North East shines its light in between the Heel Stone onto the Alter Stone at the center of the Trilithons or horseshoe of Stonehenge.

South West of Stonehenge we find the Winterbourne Stoke Barrows. Herschel claimed that the Winterbourne Stoke Barrows at Stonehenge actually represented a star map of the Pleiades and indeed these barrows seem to have the shape of this constellation. The Winterbourne Barrows as the Pleiades are pointing the way to Stonehenge according to Herschel.

Now let’s superimpose our Pleiades template on the Winterbourne Stoke barrows and see if we can make a match first. To this end we align the stars on the orange base line in our template with the corresponding barrows at Stonehenge.

It’s quit obvious from the picture above that the barrows do not perfectly fit the stars of the Pleiades. Although the stars of the Pleiades constellation take on the same contours of the barrows, the geometrical pattern of the constellation itself is somewhat distorted since it is stretched along the orange base line. Surly the ratios between our template and the actual ground plan of the Pleiades do not match. Over long periods of time stars drift and this may very well explain why the barrows don’t match up perfectly with the actual constellation of the Pleiades any longer thousands of years later. However the barrows that are running in a straight line from South West to North East will allow for the mapping and alignment of the Pleiades star map template onto the Winterbourne Stoke barrows.
If our hypothesis is correct and the orange base line of the Pleiades is aligned with the barrows, the green line should be pointing towards Stonehenge! So let’s zoom out and see what we got:

The green line of our template is running straight through Stonehenge!
The green line runs through Stonehenge and eventually ends up intersecting the Avon river. The intersection is the place where the ‘Sun is on the Milky Way’.
Let’s double check our thesis in reverse order. First we take a picture of the skies at summer solstice 1998 when the Sun is on the Milky Way with the aid of the Stellarium software. Next we superimposed that picture onto Stonehenge making sure the Pleiades are superimposed on the Winterbourne Stoke barrows and the Sun is residing on the Avon river like this:

If we now zoom in on the Winterbourne Stoke barrows we find the same result:

I think it’s safe to say that the coincidence of the near perfect alignment of the Winterbourne Stoke Barrows with Stonehenge, are beyond chance.
Most likely Stonehenge represents the Sun itself. Since it could not be built into the river it was built on the land as a midpoint between the Winterbourne Stoke barrows and the Avon river. Stonehenge now became a way shower to the Sun and its purpose was to connect the Pleiades with the summer solstice Sun on the Milky Way (green line in picture 13).
Additional proof
At summer solstice the Sun at Stonehenge rises at 50º azimuth in the North East while the Pleiades can be found at 75º azimuth. This means that at summer solstice sunrise the Pleiades can be viewed from Stonehenge right above the Avon river at the exact location where a line drawn from the Winterbourne Stoke barrows through Stonehenge intersects the Avon river. This location of course corresponds with the ‘Sun on the Milky Way’ in our thesis. In other words:
At summer solstice sunrise the Winterbourne Stoke barrows, Stonehenge and the Pleiades align!

This fact shows that Stonehenge links the Winterbourne Stoke barrows with the Pleiades at summer solstice sunrise. The Pleiades are mirrored on the ground as the Winterbourne Stoke barrows with Stonehenge as the focal point of this mirror image.
So let’s recap the facts:
- In order for the Winterbourne Stoke barrows to mirror the Pleiades at summer solstice sunrise, they were placed at 259º azimuth South West of Stonehenge (See picture 15).
- Next the orientation of the Winterbourne Stoke barrows on that location where created such that they would represent the Pleiades at a summer solstice galactic alignment (1998) when the Sun was on the Milky Way. This meant that the barrows would have to be aligned such that Alcyone and Pleione were aligned with Stonehenge, since this alignment was showing the way to the Sun on the Milky Way (see the green line in our template in picture 8)
Considering the fact that Stonehenge is also a summer solstice sunrise observatory the message of Stonehenge now becomes very clear:
Stonehenge is telling us that the Pleiades are pointing the way to the Sun on the Milky Way at summer solstice; in other words Stonehenge encodes a summer solstice Galactic Alignment!

Woodhenge
Just North East of Stonehenge we find Woodhenge. Woodhenge is the wooden ‘counterpart’ and precursor of Stonehenge. Woodhenge consists of concentric elliptical rings of wooden poles. Both the entrance of Woodhenge and the long axis of the ellipses are oriented to the summer solstice sunrise making Woodhenge another summer solstice observatory.

Recent excavations in 2006 of both Woodhenge and the Durrington Walls made archeologist believe that Woodhenge and Stonehenge were both part of one and the same ‘religious’ site. An avenue that connects Woodhenge with Stonehenge indicates that both sites were connected.
If we take a look at picture 16 we see that Woodhenge is not only close to the river but also the so called ‘Cursus’, a path that archeologists believe represents an ancient race track, is running parallel with the ecliptic. In addition the ‘Cursus’ is running through Woodhenge!

If the ‘Cursus’ was meant to represent the ecliptic and Woodhenge the Sun, the Woodhenge site would represent the place where the ecliptic (Cursus) and the Milky Way (Avon river) intersect. In other words:
Woodhenge could represent the ‘Sun on the Milky Way’ at a summer solstice galactic alignment
Conclusions
Given Herschel’s multiple Pleiades themes found around the world which he has interpreted as a ‘mystery’ star, we offer a new interpretation of Herschel’s ‘mystery’ star in this article. An interpretation that takes into account the astronomical significance of the sites in question something that Herschel did not take into consideration. We took Stonehenge as an example and demonstrated that our thesis apparently works for Stonehenge. It could mean that the ancients have left us clues about our current:
Great Celestial Conjunction or summer solstice Galactic Alignment
This astronomical event hails a New Age.

Discovery of new henge at Stonehenge
On October 3rd 2009 scientists have announced the discovery of what may be the most important find in decades, a smaller version of Stonehenge. They call it Bluehenge. Bluehenge is named after the colour of 30 giant stones placed in a circle. Bluehenge and Stonehenge are connected by means of a causeway called the Avenue. The Avenue runs from Stonehenge (aligned to the summer solstice) all the way to Bluehenge which resides at the bank of the river Avon. But the path continues to the river itself. Professor Mike Parker of Sheffield University who discovered Bluehenge argues that both Stonehenge and Bluehenge were used in rituals of life and death.
The death were brought to Woodhenge (symbol of life) north east of Stonehenge and transported over the river Avon. The death were brought ashore at Bluehenge and were transported next along the Avenue to Stonehenge (symbol of death). The ceremony started at sunrise (symbol of life) and ended at sunset (symbol of death) and included quote ‘massive feasts at Woodhenge to mark the winter solstice’.
The most important discovery is that in the ceremonies at Stonehenge, the journey of the death on the river Avon symbolized the passage from life to death.
The burial rituals at Stonehenge mimic these Egyptian burial ceremonies and not only deal with the passing of the soul into the afterlife but metaphorically also encode the death and resurrection of the Sun when it passes through the ‘gates of the Sun’ (crossing of the ecliptic and Milky Way) . Astronomically speaking, the moment when the Sun passes through these gates (crossing the Milky Way) at solstices, defines the moments of a Great Celestial Conjunction or Galactic Alignment (Sun conjunct with the Galactic Equator at a solstice day). This rare astronomical event that only occurs twice in 26.000 yeras, is occurring right now in era-2012 and is directly linked to the ending of the Maya calendar on the winter solstice of 2012 (= Galactic Alignment)!
We are not surprised to find Bluehenge (representing the Sun) at the bank of the river Avon, since symbolically ‘it encodes the Sun on the Milky Way at the summer solstice’ . Building a henge on the bank of the river is as close as one can get to the river since the henge could not be built in the river. The causeway that connects Bluehenge with the summer solstice alignment of the Avenue at Stonehenge links Bluehenge (the Sun) with the summer solstice.
The current discoveries seem to support our overall thesis that Stonehenge was not simply a solstice observatory, but also encodes the Great Celestial Conjunction of era-2012!
In ancient Egypt pharaoh’s were buried with their arms crossed and were given two Ankhs in their hand. The Ankh Egyptologists suggest is a symbol of life. On close examination it consists of two basic symbols, one is a cross called the Tau cross, the other is a circle. The Tau cross has been associated with the constellation Taurus which is not surprising since the crossing of the ecliptic and Milky Way occurs in between the horns of Taurus. "Esoterically the Tau represents a gate or opening, symbolic death'".
The dot in a circle represents the Sun (Ra) and the circle itself in the Ankh it but a simplification of the circumpunct (dot in circle). To create an artefact of the Sun symbol (circumpunct) would be impossible without using spokes to sustain the dot in the circle. While the circle in the Ankh represents the Sun, the Tau cross represents a gate and a crossing. The combination of both symbols in the Ankh therefor clearly suggest 'the Sun at the crossing'.
There are only two crossings on the ecliptic, and that’s where the Milky Way crosses the ecliptic (path of the Sun). These two crosses were called the ‘gates of the Sun’ and were associated with life and death . The soul enters life through the gate of Man (crossing of ecliptic and Milky Way in Gemini). This is why the Ankh was associated with life since the crossing of the ecliptic and Sun (gate of Man) is the place where the soul incarnated into the next life in the eternal cycle of reincarnation. Upon death the pharaoh would leave his body and his soul would travel on Ra’s barge (crossing the Milky Way) through the ‘gate of God’. The ‘gate of God’ is the crossing of the Milky Way and ecliptic in Sagittarius. This is the place where the soul enters the afterlife.
We may now understand why pharaohs were buried holding the symbol of life (Ankh) in his sarcophagus with both hands crossed as another symbol of a cross.
It is my strong belief that the burial ceremonies at Stonehenge are copies of the ancient Egyptian death ceremony. The river Avon is the English counterpart of the Nile , representing that great river in the sky the Milky Way (as above, so below). Egyptologists made a major mistake by interpreting Ra’s and Horus travel on a barge as a nocturnal journey along the sky while in reality they only require a barge to cross the Milky Way in the 26.000 year cycle called the precession of the equinoxes.
Now is the time that Ra (the Sun God) traverses the Milky Way once more after 12.500 years (1/2 precesssion cycle) on the solstices when the Sun is conjunct with the galactic equator of the Milky Way.
The Ankh is a symbol of life for it encodes the place where the soul enteres and leaves life (ecliptic and Milky Way crossings in Gemini and Saggitarius called the gates of the Sun)
