Casanova incontrò in Francia, ad Aix-en-Provence, un altro personaggio famoso, Giuseppe Balsamo noto come Cagliostro, per lo scambio di formule alchemiche in cerca di eterna giovinezza. Casanova ha anche incontrato Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, un altro famoso massone.
Uno dei simboli esoterici più popolari è il pellicano. Dal modo in cui questo uccello nutre i suoi piccoli, puntando il becco sul petto per liberare il pesce dalla gola, è nata la convinzione che si lacera il petto i piccoli con il proprio sangue per nutrire.
 Colonna del palazzo DucaleNel cristianesimo è diventato un simbolo del Cristo crocifisso che si sacrifica per la salvezza dell'umanità.
 Questo simbolo si trova nella penultima colonna del Palazzo Ducale, verso il Ponte della Paglia, e su due colonne della Chiesa di San Salvador.
 Due edifici hanno più di un legame con l'esoterismo e magia, Ca 'Dario e Ca Mocenigo.
Il primo è stato costruito su una sepoltura antica dei Templari e porta sfortuna ai suoi proprietari con numerosi suicidi tra i suoi proprietari (per ultimo Raul gardini), il secondo è legato alla triste sorte di Giordano Bruno condannato, a Roma, sul rogo come eretico.

Obviously, St. George cannot be the Archangel, Michael, for he lived in the 3rd century. Revelation which mentioned Michael fighting with the Devil in heaven probably represents the angels of God fighting against evil; good fighting against evil, and evil was defeated and thrown onto the Earth. Michael was already in existence since Daniel's time, 2,500 years ago:
