En su extremo austral está la estrella de primera magnitud Achernar (α Eri). Achernar es una estrella muy peculiar porque es una de las estrellas más planas conocidas. Las observaciones indican que su radio es casi 50% más largo en el ecuador que en los polos. Esto se debe a que la estrella rota a gran velocidad.

Liberty Bell

The Liberty Bell is an iconic symbol of American independence, located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Formerly placed in the steeple of the Pennsylvania State House (now renamed Independence Hall), the bell was commissioned from the London firm of Lester and Pack (today the Whitechapel Bell Foundry) in 1752, and was cast with the lettering (part of Leviticus 25:10) "Proclaim LIBERTY throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof." It originally cracked when first rung after arrival in Philadelphia, and was twice recast by local workmen John Pass and John Stow, whose last names appear on the bell. In its early years, the Liberty Bell was used to summon lawmakers to legislative sessions and to alert citizens to public meetings and proclamations.
No announcement was made of the Second Continental Congress's vote for independence, and thus the bell could not have rung on July 4, 1776, at least not for any reason related to that vote. Bells were rung to mark the reading of the Declaration of Independence on July 8, 1776, and while there is no contemporary account of the Liberty Bell ringing, most historians believe it was one of the bells rung. After American independence was secured, it fell into relative obscurity for some years. In the 1830s, the bell was adopted as a symbol by abolitionist societies, who dubbed it the "Liberty Bell". It acquired its distinctive large crack sometime in the early 19th century—a widespread story claims it cracked while ringing after the death of Chief Justice John Marshall in 1835.
The bell became widely famous after an 1847 short story claimed that an aged bell-ringer rang it on July 4, 1776, upon hearing of the Second Continental Congress's vote for independence. While the bell could not have been rung on that Fourth of July, as no announcement of the Declaration was made that day, the tale was widely accepted as fact, even by some historians. Beginning in 1885, the City of Philadelphia, which owns the bell, allowed it to go to various expositions and patriotic gatherings. The bell attracted huge crowds wherever it went, additional cracking occurred and pieces were chipped away by souvenir hunters. The last such journey occurred in 1915, after which the city refused further requests.
After World War II, the city allowed the National Park Service to take custody of the bell, while retaining ownership. The bell was used as a symbol of freedom during the Cold War and was a popular site for protests in the 1960s. It was moved from its longtime home in Independence Hall to a nearby glass pavilion on Independence Mall in 1976, and then to the larger Liberty Bell Center adjacent to the pavilion in 2003. The bell has been featured on coins and stamps, and its name and image have been widely used by corporations.

Get this: In a political context, the term 'Palingenesis' refers to... fascism! From Wikipedia's 'Palingenesis' entry:
...the doctrines which are used to comprise the political ideology of fascism often move to describe it as a "palingenetic ideology", primarily as a result of the notion that fascism itself is the rebirth of a state and/or empire in the image of that which came before it - thus, the ancestral political underpinnings. Specifically academic political theorist Roger Griffin refers to fascism as "palingenetic ultranationalism". The best examples of this can be found with both Fascist Italy and Nazi Germany - Italy looking to establish a palingenetic line between the 20th century regime under Benito Mussolini as being the second incarnation of the Roman Empire, while Adolf Hitler's regime was seen as being the third palingenetic incarnation - beginning first with the Holy Roman Empire ("First Reich") then with Bismarck's German Empire ("Second Reich") and then resulting in Nazi Germany ("Third Reich").
Now consider these timelines from the dark period in our history:

Nazi Germany: 1933-1945
World War II: Sept 1, 1939 - Sept 2, 1945
Hitler took control of Germany four years after the onset of the Great Depression. Four years after 2008 is... 2012. In 2008 the most serious economic crisis since the Great Depression began - Ground Zero September 14-15, pretty much right around the peak of the Sarah Palin fever who is projected to become a major player in the 2012 election cycle.
The other 'Mayan king' figure, Schwarzenegger, comes directly from a Nazi father (literally a Nazi member).
Can you say, 'Rise of the Fourth Reich'?
That, almost certainly, is part of what the Mayan 'Palingenesis' is about. How literal it will be manifested in reality is likely up to all of us. It's not like we don't have a choice. The more we are aware, the more metaphorical the patterns will stay. Or so we hope.
Seeing Barack Obama as an 'Antichrist' is so off the mark it's laughable. An Ante-Christ (in the sense of the one that comes before), maybe. There is, actually, real danger of him being set up as a sacrificial lamb. An assassination, for example, can shock and awe a nation and the world into panic mode and create an opening for palingenetic maneuvers by the 'Fourth Reich' agents, not unlike how the neoconservatives (who themselves were 'minions') goaded the United States into an unnecessary and incredibly costly war riding the shockwaves of 9/11.
It's not an exaggeration to state that bankers, financiers, and generally those with money rule the world. During a period of economic depression, they are insecure and feel the need to control things more tightly and even start wars. Accomplishing that would require a political apparatus based on fascism. To install a fascistic system, they need a charismatic puppet leader who is not exactly bright, basically immoral, but appealing to the masses. Last time they had Hitler. Anyone resembling him is no longer an option. This time, for the Fourth Palingenesis, they may well go for someone outwardly 'charming' like Sarah Palin and/or Arnold Schwarzenegger... or, someone symbolically interchangeable with one or both of these Mayan king/queen figures.
So, come 2012, four years after the start of the second 'Great Depression', we may see the 'rebirth' of the beast from the womb of the Whore of Babylon that is the Fourth Reich. It is in this context that the 2008 US presidential election in particular the Palin-genesis (birth of Palin) should be viewed for maximum insight.
The phoenix is rising. The 'Mayan countdown' is on. What lies beyond the edge of time, beyond the maya/illusion, is the product of our decisions to be made during the next four years. If we do not make them count with concentrated determination, wisdom, foresight, and courage, we will be reenacting the story of the Tower of Babel and meeting the same fate as told in Genesis. Courageous decision making is what shifts a timeline, in a sense, how we 'time travel'. That's how we can survive the 'Gate of God' called Babylon in one piece, and enter a New World. After all, Mars is waiting... The 'Face on Mars' and all.

Freemasonry is believed to incorporate some sacred number combinations and they seem to have something to do with the stars of Orion, The Pleiades and stars in Taurus.

The information contained in the link above proves this unequivocally. The stars of Taurus the bull, the Pleiades, Orion and a special "blazing star" are all mentioned. However top ranking Masons generally believe the "blazing star" to be Sirius. Let us test the Masonic Sirius theory. First we will reason how the stars appear to be linked to the sacred numbers. Secondly, how the solution is another little astronomical viewing trick to remember how the real "blazing star" can be located.
Here is a reproduced popular Masonic image with some valuable symbolism. The image adds clarity to part of the sequence 3 - 5 - 7 and how the numbers lead towards the illuminated secret - shown 'in the heavens'.

The first thing that one should question is how would numbers be of any measurable value if the secret involves stars? Secondly if the solution involves the use of numbers to identify constellations then what would it be leading the initiate towards?
The only rational answer here would be if the numbers were finding the way to an important star in the heavens... a star associated with the solar deities revered in all ancient civilizations and in the case of Freemasonry… the "blazing star".
If there is a measurable star sequence at hand, then one can solve the identity for the "blazing star" mystery. Is it Sirius as many Freemasons believe, or is it another that is more Sun-like if one accepts the premise that the celestial gods were real Solar deities of flesh and blood?
Let us start with what astronomers refer to as the cosmic signpost: Orion's famous three in a row 'belt' stars, the most recognizable stars in the night sky. Logically this would be our point of departure.
The number seven, as the Freemasons suggest, is synonymous with the seven stars of the Pleiades. That leaves the number one and number five. The image of the staircase suggests that the number five is in the middle. This matches with the Roman numeral V, which is the shape, the stars of the Taurus constellation form and which also appear as five stars.
The number sequence now joins three constellations in a row.
The ultimate question is this: Do we start with the sacred number one or do we work our way up towards the sacred number one?
Here is what Wayne has reasoned: The image suggests that we begin with the three stars in a row. As stars, the three 'belt' stars of Orion show the way in alignment through the five stars of Taurus... through to the seven stars of the Pleiades, to find the ultimate star. This is traveling with our line of sight away from the star Sirius. The ultimate star is very tiny, and impossible to see with the naked eye! Small wonder that the Masons figured the solution needed to be Sirius as the "blazing star"!
This explanation that Wayne ventures as an alternative to the Freemason's "blazing star" becomes quite logical in the context of his bigger picture star map theory, and has made sense in each and every one of his star maps so far, where the special star of the ancients is always found in the direction that the Pleiades 'leg of the bull' points to.
If the grand secret involves extraterrestrial beings that once arrived on this world (our human ancestors from another star system) then did Washington leave any other clues proving how they got here?
George Washington has presented so many clues that it is certain he wanted people of the future to crack his code. His story would not be complete until it depicts like the ancient civilizations some kind of celestial ship of those that came from above.
This now begs the million-dollar question: Did George Washington have ancient knowledge that also included the celestial ships of the gods?
What are the odds of finding an image or proof of some sort depicting what we would class today as a UFO... a ship of the sky that does not originate from this Earth?
Where else could we search for either a journal or some form of record where he the once American president would have been able to depict his own interpretation of how our ancestors arrived here?
There probably is no secret book passed down from president to president, but there is one special medium with which he could have expressed himself, as a Freemason.
He would have had his own personal Masonic apron. It does exist, and yes, there appears to be something embossed on it that could be interpreted as a UFO as we know it.
Here is a one more thing to think about on Wayne’s Washington DC star map theory. Consider another critical reason behind George Washington's motivation to build the United States’ capital in the way it is depicted in the main image above. It stands as the only modern monumental star map layout visible from space on our planet.
Look carefully at the proverbial "x" that marks the spot on the star map.
It is the grand obelisk, the Washington Monument.
If our cosmic ancestors officially decide to visit one day... and IF all our world leaders change their military protocol completely from chasing UFO's to shoot them out of the sky, to a protocol where we let them be, what appears to have been deliberately built with such an impending visit in mind, is an identifiable official landing site built exactly like the Inca Cuzco 'landing' site theorized by Wayne.

It is a day that begins with an important rising star formation on the horizon that occurs exactly the same moment as sunrise.

The Ancient Egyptians celebrated the rising of important stars on the eastern horizon across the Nile River and would probably have known this special date. What is becoming quite evident in Wayne's research is that the same is true for all the other ancient civilizations. They too revere the rising of important stars when they rise at the exact same time as the Sun.

Note how the ecliptic path of the Sun, as well as the Sun alignment with Orion's Belt and the line up towards the sacred star near the Pleiades also recreates the strange pattern found in the Dollar bill seal and on the Solomon talismans shown earlier.

In the interest of Dan Brown's new book getting history right, Wayne has sent his star map research material (predominantly the Solomon Key star map and Vatican star map theory) to Dan Brown's literary agent in New York offering it to Dan as reference so the important meaning is clear and that it has already been released. This was late in 2007. Certain that Brown would be anxious to get history right, all Wayne asked him to do is mention the reference source as any other author would if he decided to use it. After a few phone calls and discussions Heide Lange wrote back and mentioned that Dan was completely 'incognito' and unable to receive any mail no matter of what importance it may be deemed.
The exact date Dan Brown is to launch his new book, probably titled 'The Solomon Key', has not yet been released. He did however say it would be on a very important Masonic day fitting his story.
Did he get to see the new material sent to him? Will he make the same connections? Or will he reinterpret it all in an entirely different way?
Instead of identifying the 4th of July, Dan has chosen another important date only found encoded on the solomon talisman... the 15th of September.
The most exciting breaking story right now is how this story connects to the record of what appears to be the predominant and most ancient Hebrew talisman - listed also as the Key of Solomon (image directly below).

Más tarde, ve en las noticias las imágenes de la explosión y se fija que la moto era del policía, e informa al FBI de ello. El FBI se lo lleva para ser interrogado, le muestran un video terrorista y descubre que el policía era en realidad el terrorista llamado "El Lobo" y que el ataque tenía como objetivo al agente de la CIA Peter Brandt (Elias Koteas) debido a las actividades de
dicha organización en Colombia
. Le dicen que “El Lobo” ha vuelto a Colombia y no hay nada que puedan hacer, pero “Gordy” se niega a ello y decide ir tras él.
Después de eludir muchos guerrilleros en la selva, “Gordy” finalmente se infiltra en la zona donde opera la guerrilla. Es localizado tanto por la guerrilla (quienes lo quieren capturar para pedir rescate) como por la CIA (quienes no quieren que se inmiscuya en sus planes) y por la policía, pero son estos últimos quienes llegan primero hasta él y lo encierran en una prisión. Una vez allí, contacta con un estafador canadiense, Sean Armstrong (John Turturro). Los terroristas atacan la prisión para tratar de llegar a “Gordy” y liberar a algunos de sus miembros, pero “Gordy” consigue escapar y rescata a Sean. Sean le devuelve el favor ayudándolo a encontrar a Félix Ramírez (John Leguizamo), que gestiona la producción de droga que financia a los terroristas.
Después de alcanzar la planta de drogas, “Gordy” la destruye con explosivos. Félix es culpado por ello y ejecutado instantáneamente.
A continuación, “Gordy” se infiltra en el cuartel de "El Lobo", donde planta una bomba cerca de su habitación y se marcha. Desde fuera observa a una mujer y un niño caminando hacia el edificio y se da cuenta que si los deja morir no será mejor que "El Lobo", así que corre hacia ellos para advertirles. "El Lobo" lo oye y salta fuera del edificio en el momento de la explosión. “Gordy” es capturado y recibe una paliza. La mujer, Selena Perrini (Francesca Neri) -la esposa de “El Lobo”- evita que sea asesinado.
“Gordy” es hecho prisionero. Él habla con Selena, tratando de obtener su ayuda. Selena le explica a “Gordy” que su marido se volvió un terrorista como consecuencia de un ataque americano indiscriminado contra la guerrilla, el cual acabó con la vida de su hijo así como la de los padres del niño que ahora cuidan como su hijo. “Gordy” le dice que sin importar la razón, lo que está haciendo está mal y que ella lo debe ayudar a detenerlo. Selena dice que “Gordy” y "El Lobo" son lo mismo, consumidos por el odio y la venganza.
Mientras tanto, la explosión llama la atención de la CIA quienes localizan el campamento terrorista y lanzan un ataque. Durante la confusión, Selena ayuda a escapar a “Gordy” con la condición que la lleve a ella y su hijo a los Estados Unidos y le informa que "El Lobo" ha vuelto a Washington para otro ataque.
“Gordy”, Selena, y su hijo son devueltos al Departamento de Estado en Washington para ayudar a capturar a "El Lobo". Selena informa que el objetivo es Union Station y mientras el FBI va a investigar, Selena se va al baño y le pide a su hijo que le acompañe quien se niega pese al enfado de ella. “Gordy” le dice que su hijo estará bien y ella acepta a regañadientes. “Gordy” sospecha de esta extraña situación y entonces recuerda que la persona que apareció en el primer video que le mostró el FBI hacía los mismos gestos que Selena; se da cuenta que el verdadero objetivo era el Departamento de Estado, avisa a todos y lanza por la ventana el juguete del niño que no había sido comprobado justo antes de explotar.
“Gordy” persigue a Selena hasta el sótano del edificio, "El Lobo" está esperándola para escapar, pero “Gordy” manipula los controles del túnel y cierra las puertas principales. "El Lobo" y Selena tienen que volver a buscar los controles, “Gordy” abre algunas líneas de gas a lo largo de las paredes del túnel y espera. Selena dispara a “Gordy”, el disparo inflama el gas y el túnel explota, cuando “Gordy” vuelve a estudiar los daños, Selena y "El Lobo" habían sobrevivido y le atacan. Él lanza a Selena a través de un panel de control y muere electrocutada. "El Lobo" y “Gordy” siguen luchando, pero “Gordy” acaba con él.
Al final, “Gordy” abandona el Departamento de Estado junto con el hijo de Selena, mientras una voz en off informa que “Gordy” va a recibir la Medalla Presidencial de la Libertad al evitar una de los peores ataques terroristas en la historia de EE.UU.[2]
