Sirius:The Lion’s Gate – 8/8

As we round the corner into the lair of the Lion (the month of Leo) we find ourselves face to face with our ancient future and our ancient past. Reflections in our world mirror our inner needs on all levels bringing to the surface all that has been buried alive.
Emanations from the light behind the sun rearrange our brain waves, readjusting the thinking patterns that have kept us hostage in an elliptical orbit of humanness. The giant sunspots and coronal mass ejections we are presently seeing are but a glimpse into the life force of this Superior dark Sun that extends her super magnetic vibration into all parts of our known and unknown solar system. Lifting us to a point of open eyes within all the seeing cells of our natural state. Just like celestial acupuncture we receive injections of knowing that cannot be explained away. We finally find the passion to do, to be, to believe to create without a shadow of doubt.
The solar system lines up celestial body by celestial body, stopping only for a moment to pay homage to earth and her inhabitants observing the shifts and changes within the evolving species that calls earth there home. All buried landmasses within our consciousness come to a place of buoyancy, circumnavigating our linear flat world thinking. Exposing on a stellar level that which lies beneath all of our longings and choices. We finally stand up for what we believe and what believes in us.
The blue light from the star Sirius shines down onto all of our choices Stellar gateways open via earthen conduits allowing us to be lifted to a place of innate knowing. Everything we do or do not do will be felt in all sectors of heaven and earth.
It is time for the Solar Lion via the SPHINX to rise from her enigmatic posture of guardian and unleash what has been subjugated to human restriction. A full positioning of this event transpires within the secret chamber of the left hemisphere of the brain for females and the right hemisphere of the brain for males. Like an unexpected tsunami the ocean floor parts to release a surge that will clear the mental shorelines of non-belief. Fractions of self and soul that had once been fluid through time and choice come running home with open arms and an open heart. Settling into all of the cracks of our personal universe filling them with what needs to be seen.
Emanations from the stars reach down to work there healing magic upon all of us. The light behind our Sun lifts her skirt of light exposing her Nubian body of light for all to see. The dance of the seven veils of time eternal cleverly keeps most of her concealed. Finally the children of earth have earned the right to see the truth of the Cosmos.
On August 8, Solar power will move into material form to be seen and felt. Uniting the two hemispheres of the brain in a cosmic fusion. Birthing a level of light that even the blind will be able to see. So powerful is this solar vibration we will have but one choice as it enters our energy field. The choice is to just allow it to pass through you like a solar wind, not holding on to any part of it. Like a cool breeze on a hot day just allow the solar emanations to encircle and embrace you without trying to corral them and tie them to the fence of humanness. Just this minute action will shift the future into a place that can been seen and felt.
The 8:8 STARGATE is symbolic of the human DNA kept separate and secret purposefully. the symbiotic relationship that humanity has had with earth life will shift into direct alignment with a time passageway. This time passageway is allowing a new seeding to occur that increases mental capacities, IQ and the ability to remember (near and far). For some time now the human brain has been in the shop being repaired. Too much information has been painful and not received or digested properly. Seeming to have Teflon coating the brain has been resistant, not wanting anything to stick to it. Each new set of thoughts triggered dormant fears that needed to be released and replaced with new strands of awareness.
The star Sirius rises every midsummer this rising is associated with new thought, new light, and new beginnings. It rises before the sun purposefully after being in stellar hiding for about 70 days. Sirius houses the Great White Brotherhood, the Lemurian Elders as well as the Christ Consciousness. It is now time to come from a point of high solar vibrations and allow this new light to shine on places within the psyche and history of earth that needs cleansed.
We stand at the base of the mountain of Creational maturity on our sojourn home to the Light. Everything in the universe opens its cupboards to show what has been hidden on all of its shelves. It is a personal choice as to how to wear this energy and wisdom. It has been laid at your anointed feet with a great love by those that have taken all of your evolutionary possibilities to heart.

If you recall my earlier post 'Manhattan Working' you might remember the 'moon' correlation that was made apparent...a relationship between certain Fox & Fox TV premieres and the postion of the moon on these occassions and the position of the moon on the day of 9/11.
I've now got around to adding in the premiere of 2001 : ASO

Both these events happened during the exact SAME moon phases (waxing crescent)...the day after a NEW MOON!From the NEW MOON (the darkest night, geddit?) to the following day. On a NEW MOON sunlight is shone on the side of the moon (dark side) that we can't see...hence the darkest phase. After the new moon, the sunlit portion is increasing, but less than half, so it is waxing crescent. After the first quarter, the sunlit portion is still increasing, but now it is more than half, so it is waxing gibbous. After the full moon (maximum illumination), the light continually decreases. So the waning gibbous phase occurs next. Following the third quarter is the waning crescent, which wanes until the light is completely gone -- a new moon.

The month of August is upon us once again, bringing with it humid days and sultry nights for North American observers.
You’ll often hear the first few weeks of August referred to as the Dog Days of Summer. Certainly, the oppressive midday heat may make you feel like lounging around in the shade like our canine companions. But did you know there is an astronomical tie-in for the Dog Days as well?
We’ve written extensively about the Dog Days of Summer previously, and how the 1460 year long Sothic Cycle of the ancient Egyptians became attributed to the Greek adoption of Sothis, and later in medieval times to the ‘Dog Star’ Sirius. Like the Blue Moon, say something wrong enough, long enough, and it successfully sticks and enters into meme-bank of popular culture.

A water monopoly empire, the Egyptians livelihood rested on knowing when the annual flooding of the Nile was about to occur. To this end, they relied on the first seasonal spotting of Sirius at dawn. Sirius is the brightest star in the sky, and you can just pick out the flicker of Sirius in early August low to the southeast if you know exactly where to look for it.

Sirius lies at a declination of just under 17 degrees south of the celestial equator. It’s interesting to note that in modern times, the annual flooding of the Nile (prior to the completion of the Aswan Dam in 1970) is commemorated as occurring right around August 15th. Why the discrepancy? Part of it is due to the 26,000 year wobbling of the Earth’s axis known as the Precession of the Equinoxes; also, the Sothic calendar had no intercalculary or embolismic (think leap days) to keep a Sothic year in sync with the sidereal year. The Sothic cycle from one average first sighting of Sirius to another is 365.25 days, and just 9 minutes and 8 seconds short of a sidereal year.

But that does add up over time. German historian Eduard Meyer first described the Sothic Cycle in 1904, and tablets mention its use as a calendar back to 2781 BC. And just over 3 Sothic periods later (note that 1460= 365.25 x 4, which is the number of Julian years equal to 1461 Sothic years, as the two cycles ‘sync up’), and the flooding of the Nile now no longer quite coincides with the first sighting of Sirius.
Such a simultaneous sighting with the sunrise is known in astronomy as a heliacal rising. Remember that atmospheric extinction plays a role sighting Sirius in the swampy air mass of the atmosphere low to the horizon, taking its usual brilliant luster of magnitude -1.46 down to a more than a full magnitude and diminishing its intensity over 2.5 times.
This year, we transposed the seasonal predicted ‘first sightings’ of Sirius versus latitude onto a map of North America:

Another factor that has skewed the date of first ‘Sirius-sign’ is the apparent motion of the star itself. At 8.6 light years distant, Sirius appears to move 1.3 arc seconds per year. That’s not much, but over the span of one Sothic cycle, that amounts up to 31.6’, just larger than the average diameter of a Full Moon.
Sirius has been the star of legends and lore as well, not the least of which is the curious case of the Dogon people of Mali and their supposed privileged knowledge of its white dwarf companion star. Alvan Graham Clark and his father discovered Sirius B in 1862 as they tested out their shiny new 18.5-inch refractor. And speaking of Sirius B, keep a telescopic eye on the Dog Star, as the best chances to spy Sirius B peeking out from the glare of its primary are coming right up around 2020.

Repeating the visual feat of spying Sirius B low in the dawn can give you an appreciation as to the astronomical skill of ancient cultures. They not only realized the first sighting of Sirius in the dawn skies coincided with the annual Nile flooding, but they identified the discrepancy between the Sothic and sidereal year, to boot. Not bad, using nothing but naked eye observations. Such ability must have almost seemed magical to the ancients, as if the stars had laid out a celestial edge for the Egyptians to exploit.

You can also exploit one method of teasing out Sirius from the dawn sky a bit early that wasn’t available to those Egyptian astronomer priests: using a pair of binoculars to sweep the skies. Can you nab Sirius with a telescope and track it up into the daytime skies? Sirius is just bright enough to see in the daytime against a clear blue sky with good transparency if you know exactly where to look for it.

Las ocho puertas de Jerusalén
Santo Sepulcro en la ciudad vieja de Jerusalen
Ocho son las las puertas que abren paso por las murallas de la ciudad vieja de Jerusalén construidas por el sultán turco Suleimán el Magnífico. Aunque se podría decir que hay siete ya todas menos una de ellas (la Puerta de la Misericordia) permanece sellada mientras espera la llegada del Mesías.
La muralla y las puertas de Jerusalén cuentan la historia de esta ciudad al tiempo que contribuyen a construir su presente permitiendo a los habitantes y viajeros atravesar por miles para llegar a sus mercados, lugares santos y enclaves históricos. Bajo estas premisas, conocer sus peculiaridades y significado es fundamental antes de atravesarlas.
Puerta de Jaffa de Jerusalen en Israel
Dominada por la torre de la ciudadela de David, la puerta de Jaffa es una de las 8 puertas de la muralla y es hoy la principal entrada a la ciudad vieja de Jerusalén, por lo menos la más utilizada por los turistas. Puerta Dung es la única puerta que lleva hacia la Explanada de la Mezquitas o Santuario Noble, lugar donde se encuentran la Mezquita de la Cúpula de la Roca y Al- Aqsa. Al atravesarla, se puede apreciar los jardines Arqueológicos Ophel que, en una pequeña superficie, logran capturar la turbulenta historia de Jerusalen a través de los siglos. Su desafortunado nombre se debe a que en sus orígenes era la puerta que servía para sacar la basura de la ciudad.
Puerta de Herodes en Jerusalen – Israel
Puerta de Herodes cuyo verdadero nombre en árabe y hebreo es Puerta de las Flores, debido a los motivos con forma de rosetas que la adornan. Se encuentra en la misma muralla que la Puerta de Damasco y da acceso al barrio musulmán.
Puerta Nueva de Jerusalen – Israel
La puerta nueva es la única entrada a la Ciudad Vieja que no forma parte del diseño original de las murallas del s. XVI. Se abrió en los primeros tiempos del Imperio Otomano para permitir que los peregrinos cristianos accediesen mejor a sus lugares santos situados en el interior de las murallas.
Puerta Dorada de Jerusalen desde el exterior en Israel
Puerta Dorada, abierta en el muro del Monte del Templo oriental posiblemente sea la más conocida de todas. También se la denomina Puerta de la Misericordia o Puerta del Este, lleva varios siglos sellada y se dice que está a la espera de un milagro cuando el Mesías regrese y resuciten los muertos.
