This yajna is performed to commemorate a person's living to see 1000 full moons. Because the time between full moons averages 29.531 days, this happens some time after the completion of 81 years. The yajna is conducted for the benefit of the individual. In this case, the individual is the Avatar of the age, and the yajna was performed for a greater purpose: to bring peace and happiness in the world and help redeem man from the cycle of birth and death. Many of the songs used yodeling, a particularly unique Austrian-Germanic way of singing. This intriquingly beautiful and different concert enthralled everyone! | | Education Exhibition Inauguration, 20 Jul 2008 | | | Bhagavan Baba inaugurated the Exhibition in the Purnachandra at 11AM on 20 July just before the start of the Sri Sathya Sai World Foundation Education Conference. We see His entrance to the Exhibition, including lighting a flame. He then looks at the whole Exhibition, with various narrators explaining to Him the panels that He is looking at (there were panels on Sai Institutes, Sai Schools, SSE, and SSEHV).
