El peregrinaje a Prashanti Nilayam que agrupo a más de 200 devotos de 12 países formalmente concluyó hace unos días. A partir del 25 de julio inició el regreso de grupos de devotos a sus respectivos países. Todos regresan con las manos y los corazones llenos de regalos, bendiciones y amor de nuestro Señor. Este peregrinaje hacia la morada de la paz en realidad no concluyo el 24 de julio. Si acaso concluyó una etapa y pudimos vivir un hito en nuestro peregrinaje hacia Sai. Los que tuvimos la gracia de estar presentes en estos días en Parshanti fuimos testigos una vez más del inmenso amor y gracia que Sai esta derramando en nuestra naciones y en nuestros pueblos y de manera especial en sus devotos que son los portadores de su mensaje en los casi 30 países que conforman la Zona Latinoamericana. Shirdi: During the 3 day Hindu festival of 'Guru Purnima', a day of honouring teachers and mentors,
the famed shrine to Hindu saint Sai Baba at Shirdi collected more than Rs 30 million as donation.
According to Shri Eknath Goenkar, Trustee Member of Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust,
the Sansthan received donations of more than Rs.3 crores (30 million) in just 3 days,
mainly because of the fact that more than 5 lakh devotee's flocked to Shirdi for Baba's darshan on Gurupurnima.
The Donation received by the organization includes Cash, Gold and Silver and other items.
“In the Cash box here, we have got Rs.1,92,35000 ($ 412,648.15) in Rupees & Foreign Currency.
Beside that we have got 277 gram of Gold and 2818 gram of Silver.
And the Cash receipts amount to Rs.1,20,55000 ($ 258,542.78) as donation,” said Goenkar.

Shirdi: On the occasion of 'Guru Purnima' festival, a large number of people flocked to Shirdi,
to offer their prayers to their Guru "Shri Sai Baba" on Sunday 25th July`2010.
A festive ambience pervaded the small town of Shirdi in Maharashtra,
where a sea of believers converged at the famed shrine of the revered saint, Sai Baba, to offer their prayers.
Around 5 lakh devotees queued up outside the shrine since early morning just to get a glimpse of the deity,
who used to be viewed as the Guru by many people.
"Baba is the central force of the universe. When Baba used to sit in the shrine, his followers used to offer prayers
and worship him on the Guru Purnima (full moon day). This practice gained prominence ever since and has been followed till date,
to commemorate Baba's influence on his followers," said Vidya Kshirsagar, a priest.

Last updated @ 2103 hrs. IST, July 26 Mon, July 26, 2010: Prasanthi continues to bask in the festive glory, as it rained music yet again! The morning after Guru Purnima witnessed the carnatic duo, Malladi Brothers, continuing from where they had left ln the previous evening. Emerging at 0815 hrs. in His car, Bhagawan took a detour through the ladies' side to come onto the portico. Moving into the interview room Bhagawan spet next 45 minutes in before emerging yet again at 0900 hrs. Bhagawan came onstage shortly after 0900 hrs. to the holy chants of Vedam. The stage was set for the music concert and the artistes were already onstage as per His Divine instructions.

RE-CREATING THE LIFE & TIMES OF SAI BABA IN SHIRDI
A well known Indian art director and production designer of Indian cinema,
Shri Nitin Chandrakant Desai who was in Shirdi on 25th July`2010 on the occasion of Gurupurnima,
has taken a vow, to exclusively design a Theme based city "SAI-SRUSHTI" over an area of 4 acres at Shirdi,
for all the devotees of Sai Baba.
A NEW CONCEPT,
"SAI-SRUSHTI" WILL BE A RE-CREATION OF THE LIFE & TIMES OF SAI BABA IN SHIRDI.
It will be made in such a manner that, as an devotee enters this city,
he will feel actually being in the World & Time of Shri Sai Baba.

The conductance of this Maha Durga Homam was graced and blessed by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. The programme began at 8 am in the morning and ended with Aarti at 6 pm.
