Winter Tag Gallery
Do you love winter? I do .
But I love winter tags even more because it`s all the beauty without the sore muscles and stiff old bones LOL. I would love to see your winter tags, so why not "hang" them here in this winter gallery for everyone to enjoy?
Please share any winter tags that you`ve made recently (or in the past) and also tags that were made for you by another. I would love to see them all.
If you would like to share a bit of history regarding the tag, then please include it because tag backstories are interesting to read.

Thanks, Su! I love that Taylor Tag. Her and Jossie`s styles were so similar and they both know how to add just the right amount of elements to make something so pretty. This tag was a gift (not made by me) and I think the little marshmallow guy is so cute! |

Awesome tags timber,
that marshmallow guy is too cute and so much thought went into the one from Robin .wow
I forgot to comment on your Sia tag too...love it!
I don't have many tags from Taylor but I do love how she can take a simple design and fancy it up. I have quite a few favorite timber tags too

Thanks, Su! I have some videos from The Voice downloaded and some of them are of Sia performing. I watched one a few days before I got the idea to make the tag and wondered if I could make a tag like that. I created the gradient myself which I was pleased with ; I have never made a gradient like that before, so it was fun to try something new.
I created this tag below while trying to make something with a scrap kit. I am really lousy with those; I struggle to use the elements. I wish I could attend the JessieJo/Jossie/Taylor Design School, because those girls have the "scrappy" design sensibility that I really love.
Instead of using any of the elements of the scrap kit, I chose to only use a couple of papers. I used a font with snowflakes, Kingthings Christmas, and filled a layer with a gold glitter that I had to colorize to zero to make it silver, and then I added some movement with noise . I loved the way this one turned out.

Thanks, Su, I love the sparkly tags too! I can`t tell you how many tags of mine are either glassy or glitzy or both. I`m kind of an addict haha.
I would like to give a shout-out to Dyantha. She made some of the best tags I ever saw and am so happy to have been a receiver of her little gems. The PSP world is missing a great artist. My little taggy was made by Dy.

I really miss those days of Msn.
Love all the html tables and backgrounds you put up. will have to play around with them soon.

The migration of PSPers began when Facebook came and I remember a lot of the girls disappearing to explore Facebook.
Rebel touched base with me a few years back when we were at Yuku and she told me that part of the reason she lost her passion for PSP was because she had to upgrade her computer and she couldn`t get her favorite filters to work. I imagine that is the case for others.
If I lost my favorite filters and/or Animation Shop, I don`t know how jazzed I`d be either. But I am such a fan of tagging that I would research other methods. I love the creative outlet of tagging, so where there`s a will there`s a way.
Something else that happened along the way was the explosion of scrap kit tagging. You get a scrap kit and you copy and paste the scrap elements onto a canvas and re-size and place as you like. I don`t know how many of the girls even use filters any more. That kind of tagging bores me to death (not the tags themselves but the method of tagging). I love the surprise you get when you apply a filter, or a sequence of filters, to an image. It`s like opening a present; you never know what you`re going to get.
As long as I am here I will use filters and share what I know with anyone who is interested in learning new things. I like to play but I also like to learn new things. I don`t see many PSP learning groups around; I think they are mostly focused on activities like posting games. I like to play some games as well, but I also miss the sharing we used to do when we`d all do the same tutorial together and see the different results.
My beautiful snowing tag was made by Cindy. She`s another one of the girls who does such a nice job with scrap tags. |

Oh nooo, Su! Doesn't that just remind you of the old MSN days when we would post and we'd get a white screen? I'm guessing you used an apostrophe in your message ; when you do that, the message gets cut off where the apostrophe is. I am used to this as I have done a lot of testing on the message boards, so I have learned to compose my messages in Notepad first before adding them to the message editor. It's an extra step but it allows me to make change to my message before sending it.
But congratulations on adding an HTML box to your post! At least you got that much .
I read your other message about your winter break coming to an end . It's been really nice having these daily conversations with you while posting our winter tags! As always, just drop in and say hi when you can; it's always nice to hear from you . I will continue to post my winter tags and play around with HTML boxes .
Happy New Year 2018!
My gorgeous, glitzy tag was made by Rebel; it's one of my all-time fave winter tags.

Okay back to the drawing board for this one. I used a snowman tube with more blue and white and now I think this looks kind of like a winter tiger .
