Wow, great tut, Judy!
It was so easy to follow, nicely written!

If I had written it I'm sure I would have used vector text and gone through the selection and convert to raster, etc.  But the way you have it written starting with floating text was so much easier.  I rarely ever work with floating text because I'm always fiddling with the vector settings and stuff.  It was refreshing to make a text tag in a new way.

Here's my tutorial testing results.  I followed the tutorial as written, even though I wanted to do it "my way" lol.  As a tester I thought it was important to follow every step as written to see where there might be mistakes in writing.  That was hard to do lol.  But it was also a good lesson for me to follow instructions .



I love that you have included variations at the end of your tutorial!
I always enjoy getting to the bottom of a tutorial and seeing different ways to do the same tut.

Okay, now I'm off to find another font to play with and another gradient or pattern.
I'll be back again to post my results when finished .
