“The druids were tree worshippers, especially the oak. The holly was their most sacred symbol because it was sacred to mother Holle or Hel, the [Norse] goddess of the underworld…
Hel by Johannes Gehrts (1889)
…thus we have Holle, or Holly-wood (Hel-wood, the “place of magic”) and home of the Illuminati’s mass propaganda and conditioning machine in California. The holly wood was a favourite source of magic wands.” -Children of the Matrix by David Icke
An Arch Druid in His Judicial Habit by S.R. Meyrick and C.H. Smith (1815)
J.K. Rowling has this to say about wands:
“I gave Harry a wand made of holly wood back in 1990, when I first drafted chapter six of ‘Philosopher’s Stone’. It was not an arbitrary decision: holly has certain connotations that were perfect for Harry, particularly when contrasted with the traditional associations of yew, from which Voldemort’s wand is made. European tradition has it that the holly tree (the name comes from ‘holy’) repels evil, while yew, which can achieve astonishing longevity (there are British yew trees over two thousand years old), can symbolise both death and resurrection; the sap is also poisonous.” -Source
Patrick Sexton from Ireland wrote to let me know about some interesting symbolism he ran into while visiting the place where the Academy Awards happen in Hollywood. I took a look and uncovered much more.
Magic Castle, located at 7001 Franklin Avenue in the Hollywood district of Los Angeles, California, is a nightclub for magicians and magic enthusiasts, as well as the clubhouse for the Academy of Magical Arts. It bills itself as “the most unusual private club in the world.”
The lobby of the Castle has no visible doors to the interior, and visitors must say a secret phrase to a sculpture of an owl to gain access, exposing the entrance to the club.
The Magic Castle is also the private clubhouse for the Academy of Magical Arts (AMA), an organization devoted to the history, performance and advancement of the art of magic. As of 2006, the AMA had approximately 5000 members. -Source
The Kodak Theatre is the permanent home of the Academy Awards. This is where the Hollywood royalty parades down the red carpet on their way to receiving Oscars:
The reader may have noticed how often we see the world leaders walking upon a red carpet. This is an old symbol dating back through the concocted story of the Old Testament twins Pharez and Zarah to the time of the Druids. The red carpet is a motif representing the blood-path or bloodline coming down from the past and running into the future.” -Irish Origins of Civilization by Michael Tsarion
Here’s an article discussing how some celebrities (not to mention politicians) are actually genetically related to French Kings and British Queens. It makes you wonder just how much Sang Real runs in the veins of the stars.
Queen Victoria (1819–1901) by Franz Xaver Winterhalter (1870)
The Oscar is the most recognized trophy in the world. Did you know the Oscar statuette “depicts a knight rendered in Art Deco style holding a crusader’s sword standing on a reel of film with five spokes.” -Source
Might that be a magical pentagram Oscar the Templar is standing on? That is one coveted golden idol.
Made of gold-plated Britannium (in case you wondered which royal house we are really talking about) on a black metal base, it is 13.5 in (34 cm) tall, weighs 8.5 lb (3.85 kg).
Officially named the Academy Award of Merit, the statuette is better known by its nickname, Oscar. While the origins of the moniker aren’t clear, a popular story has it that upon seeing the trophy for the first time, Academy librarian (and eventual executive director) Margaret Herrick remarked that it resembled her Uncle Oscar. -Academy Source
Right, her uncle Oscar, that smacks of cover story to me.
OSCAR is an anagram for SAC OR, or bag of gold in French. That’s about what an Oscar is worth in Hollywood, make that a grocery bag full.
OSCARS is an anagram for A CROSS, if you like the crusader / templar connection better.
The Kodak Theatre is the anchor tenant in the Hollywood & Highland Center, a 36,000 square meter (see 666) complex located in the heart of Hollywood, along the Hollywood Walk of Fame; it is among the most visited tourist destinations in Los Angeles.
Hollywood & Highland also houses 65,000 square feet (see Snowflake and the Flower) of gathering spaces including the Grand Ballroom, used for the Oscars Governors Ball.
The chief of cuisine Wolfgang Puck operates his regional headquarters out of the complex.
The centerpiece of Hollywood & Highland is a massive three-story courtyard inspired by the Babylon scene from the D.W. Griffith silent film Intolerance (1916). Here’s a 3D view in Google Earth (more on this Ishtar Gate in a moment)…
…and a clip from the 1916 film:
The theatrical poster from Intolerance:
Note the subtitle: A Sun Play of the Ages
The theatrical poster from Griffith’s previous film (mentioned on the poster above), “The Birth of a Nation” features A CROSS flambé in addition to Templar crosses on rider and horse:
The Birth of a Nation was based on the novel and play The Clansmen and proved extremely controversial at the time and ever since for its negative depiction of Black Americans and their supporters, and its positive portrayal of slavery and the Ku Klux Klan.
Griffith responded to his critics with his next film, Intolerance, intended to show the dangers of prejudiced thought and behavior. The film was not the financial success that its predecessor had been, but was received warmly by critics. -Source
I’m trying to be tolerant but don’t see why the developers chose to base Hollywood’s ground zero on a movie called Intolerance directed by a man who previously glorified the KKK. There is no lack of themes in Hollywood so why choose Intolerance and build an Ishtar Gate?
In Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law, I mentioned Confederate General Albert Pike was linked with the KKK:
“Albert Pike held the office of Chief Justice of the KKK while he was simultaneously Sovereign Grand Commander of the Scottish Rite of Masonry, in the Southern Jurisdiction”. -Freemasonrywatch.org
Speaking of Masons, guess what is right across the street from Hollywood & Highland? The Hollywood Masonic Temple is located at 6480 Hollywood Avenue.
6480 is an anagram for 8640, the number of the Sun (whose diameter is 864,000 miles) which is also 33% of the Earth’s precessional cycle of 25,920 years.

With the renovation of the El Capitan Theater next door in the early 1990s, Disney began leasing the building for special events, including its use as a “toy box” for the 1995 premiere of “Toy Story.”
In 1998, Disney purchased the building. In 2002, after extensive renovation, Disney reopened the building as the El Capitan Entertainment Centre. Disney restored original fixtures, including backlighted stone filigree, wrought iron torchieres, Batchelder tiles and old post boxes once used by Masonic officers.
As of 2008, ABC’s late-night talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live! originates from a studio in the building. -Source
The inscription on the top of the building reads: “FREEMASONRY BUILDS ITS TEMPLES AMONG THE NATIONS AND IN THE HEARTS OF MEN.”
Disney builds its temples on the silver screen and in the Magic Kingdom (Disneyland). Although freemasons are no longer occupying the Hollywood Masonic Temple, recall the mysterious Club 33 at Disneyland which I discussed in my 33 post, linking Disney with the 33rd degree of Scottish Freemasonry.
Getting back to Intolerance…”this complex film consists of four distinct, but parallel, stories — intercut with increasing frequency as the film builds to a climax — that demonstrate mankind’s persistent intolerance throughout the ages. The film sets up moral and psychological connections among the different stories. The timeline covers approximately 2,500 years:
- The ancient “Babylonian” story (539 BC) depicts the conflict between Prince Belshazzar of Babylon and Cyrus the Great of Persia. The fall of Babylon is a result of intolerance arising from a conflict between devotees of two rival Babylonian gods — Bel-Marduk and Ishtar.
- The Biblical “Judean” story (ca. 27 AD) recounts how — after the Wedding at Cana and the Woman Taken in Adultery — intolerance led to the Crucifixion of Jesus. This sequence is the shortest of the four.
- The Renaissance “French” story (1572) tells of the failure of the religious tolerance that led to the St. Bartholomew’s Day Massacre of Huguenots by Roman Catholic royals.
- The American “Modern” story (ca. 1914) demonstrates how crime, moral puritanism, and conflicts between ruthless capitalists and striking workers help ruin the lives of marginal Americans.” -Source
The films seems to be all about intolerance as the name suggests rather than presenting tolerant solutions to coexistence. Was this film or its director worthy of glorifying almost 100 years later?
The Babylonian story is the one that the developers decided to build out at Hollywood & Highland. Here is a closeup shot:
The elephant reminds me of the the pachyderms discussed in Bolton, Arsenic and War, and Pasternoster Squares. The pair of lions are symbols of Babylonian Ishtar (also known as the Sumerian Inanna, or Egyptian Isis). Here’s what I’m calling the Ishtar gate:
The god on the right is Assyrian Nisroch (Bablyonian Nusku). The pinecone (pineal gland) is strangely absent in the Hollywood version. Nusku was the son of the god Sin. That’s interesting because Ishtar (Sumerian Inanna) was the daughter of Sin. In the Sumerian version Inanna and her sun-god brother Utu were twins. One big happy freaky alien family of Sin.
Some religious authors consider Nisroch to be a fallen angel….Johann Weyer and Collin de Plancy wrote that Nisroch is chief of cuisine to the princes in Hell. -Source
Maybe the gods (or the stars) ate that pineal gland? Please watch this amusing short clip that was aired during Superbowl XLIII (2009):
Thinking on this I drew a line from the Ishtar Gate at Hollywood & Highland to the original location of the Ishtar Gate in Babylon (modern day Iraq). The real Ishtar Gate is now in Berlin.
The distance between Ishtar Gates measures 6555 miles.
Look at how the line from the Ishtar gate in Hollywood perfectly traces the reconstructed wall of Babylon:
Babylon is located at 32° 32′ 32″ N latitude.
David Flynn’s book Temple at the Center of Time lists the distance from the Foundation Stone at the center of the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem to Babylon as 539.86 miles and I verified that this is indeed a fact. Flynn correlates this with the fact that Babylon fell on 12 Oct 539 BC.
The night before that date a disembodied hand [from the fourth dimension?] appeared and King Belshazzar could see the writing on the wall (and thus the origin of this idiom):
MENE MENE TEKEL PERES
Belsazar by Rembrandt (1635)
“Although usually left untranslated in English translations of Daniel, these words are known Aramaic names of measures of currency: MENE, a mina (from the root meaning “to count”), TEKEL, a spelling of shekel (from the root meaning “to weigh”), PERES, half a mina (from the root meaning “to divide”, but additionally resembling the word for “Persia”).
Despite various inducements, none of the royal magicians or advisors can interpret the omen. The King sends for Daniel, an exiled Jew taken from Jerusalem, who had served in high office under Nebuchadnezzar. Rejecting offers of reward, Daniel warns the King of the folly of his arrogant blasphemy before reading the text.
The meaning that Daniel decrypts from these words is based on passive verbs corresponding to the measure names.
And this is the writing that was inscribed: mina, mina, shekel, half-mina. This is the interpretation of the matter: mina, God has numbered the days of your kingdom and brought it to an end; shekel, you have been weighed on the scales and found wanting; half-mina, your kingdom is divided and given to the Medes and Persians. -Daniel 5:25–28
That very night King Belshazzar was slain, and Darius the Mede became King. The next day the Jews were led out of captivity and began the trek back to Jerusalem.” -Source
Flynn says that Issac Newton “looked on the whole universe and all that is in it as a riddle, as a secret which could be read by applying pure thought to certain evidence, certain mystic clues which God had laid about the world to allow a sort of philosopher’s treasure hunt to the esoteric brotherhood.
[I feel exactly the same]
He believed that these clues were to be found party in the evidence in the heavens and in the constitution of the elements…but also party in certain papers and traditions handed down by the brethren in an unbroken chain back to the original cryptic revelation in Babylonia.” -Temple at the Center of Time (page 40)
The Knot
The current name Jerusalem, or Yerusalem as it is sometimes pronounced, is derived from UR-SALEM or the “Capital city of Salem.” The Sumerian UR was used only for capital cities and there could only be one UR in Mesopotamia. UR-SALEM was its branch or counterpart in the west.” -Flying Serpents and Dragons: The Story of Mankind’s Reptilian Past by R.A. Boulay
Abram and Sarai both grew up in the Mesopotamian capital city of UR. When Abram was 99 Yahweh renamed him Abraham and his wife became known as Sarah.
Abraham’s Departure by Molnár József (1850)
The four letters YHWH (Hebrew: יהוה) known as the tetragrammaton refer to Yahweh, the name of the god of Israel. Observant Jews write down but do not pronounce the Tetragrammaton, because it is considered too sacred to be used for common activities. -Source
Flynn shows that by rearranging the letters additional phrases are formed:
This is essentially identical to Plutarch’s 1st century description of ISIS at her temple at Sais where it was inscribed:
“I am all that has been, and is, and shall be. My veil no mortal hath ever raised.”
Francois-Edouard Picot’s Study and Genius reveal ancient Egypt and Greece (in the Louvre)
The histories of the Sumerians, Babylonians, Assyrians, Egyptians, and Jews are intertwined in a gordian knot.
The ziggurat in Babylon was called Etemenanki, the same name Goro Adachi has chosen for his fascinating site. Here’s a reconstruction of Etemenanki:
And thanks to Kaleb who sent me the following correlation. The Secret Intelligence Service Building (MI6) is known within the intelligence community as Babylon-on-the-Thames for its resemblance to a ziggurat:

Consider also the building known as The Ziggurat in southern California (designed by William Pereira, the architect of the Transamerica Pyramid) which just happens to be located at 33°33′ N that I blogged about in my 2013 post. It’s home to the western division of the Department of Homeland Security.

Ziggurats are part of the puzzle. Are the spooks working for alien “gods”?
The All Seeing Eye Pyramid in Century City I wrote about earlier is just a stones throw from Hollywood.
Thanks to Joylon who wrote a comment on my Santa Monica Pier post alerting me to the mysterious Park La Brea development which is 2.5 miles away from Hollywood & Highland.
Park La Brea is unlike the rest of the urban fabric in greater Los Angeles.
The street layout was created in a masonic pattern as a reference to the masonic heritage of the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, which built the complex toward the end of World War II and immediately thereafter.
Metropolitan Life Insurance also constructed a sister complex, Park Merced in San Francisco, which features a similar street layout as Park La Brea. At the same time, they built Stuyvesant Town and Peter Cooper Village in Manhattan, Parkchester in The Bronx, and Parkfairfax in Alexandria, Virginia just outside Washington, DC. -Source
Who would have thought Met Life had a masonic heritage? The street layout reminds me of this arrangement:
A different Patrick contacted me (also of Irish extraction) to say that La Breá means sunny day in Irish. The octagonal street layout is of course a solar symbol. See my Washington DC Part 3 video for the symbolism of octagram stars. Most fitting is the oldest such representation, the Star of Inanna:
Park La Breá has some interesting sister complexes.
Speaking of sister complexes, in Babylonian and Assyrian mythology, Ereshkigal, sister of the sky goddess Ishtar/Inanna, was the goddess of the land of the dead from which no-one returns. She managed the destiny of those who were beyond the grave, in the Underworld where she was queen. Note the pairs of lions and owls, Ereshkigal’s bird legs and wings. Not exactly human.
Zecharia Sitchin details how Inanna went down to Ereshkigal’s realm where she was met with less than familial affection. Ereshkigal killed her and hung her lifeless body on a stake. Only with uncle Enki’s help was Innana resurrected. -Source
We have been conditioned to think that magic is only an illusion, or a tale told to children. What if paranormal or ceremonial magic-magick was real in the sense that it is a communication and exchange of energy with real entities in an unseen realm? What if Hollywood was encoding this knowledge into films?
If you want to better understand this, I recommend a series of videos by Michael Wynn called Magick & The Matrix. He has a site called HollywoodInsiders.net
Is Hollywood the New Babylon? Its all right there in plain sight.
The great temptations which thine eyes have seen, the signs, and those great miracles [the Magic of Hollywood?] Yet the LORD hath not given you an heart to perceive, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, unto this day. -Deuteronomy 29:3-4
I don’t think it’s the LORD (or me) that is doing the revealing. Rather it is the unstoppable rise of consciousness that we are all feeling. Our eyes and ears are opening.
